The location is perfect for going out, to the City Center, grocery store, public beach. Spa area is soo good (used the sauna, Turkish bath, tropical rain shower and the small pool. Breakfast was delicious. Personnel kind and helpful.

Les chambres sont très agréables et l’emplacement est idéal, juste en face de la marina, avec tout à proximité. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien servi et varié. Le personnel de l’hôtel est toujours à l’écoute, disponible et prêt à aider. Une très belle expérience !

Tout était parfait, à quelques petits détails près. L’odeur d’égout dans notre salle de bain était assez désagréable. Il serait également appréciable d’avoir une petite machine à laver ainsi qu’un étendoir à linge dans l’appartement. Après un séjour de dix jours, cela serait vraiment pratique pour pouvoir laver et faire sécher son linge. Dans l’espace wellness, il serait également agréable de mettre à disposition des bouteilles d’eau afin de pouvoir se réhydrater après le sauna ou le hammam. Une musique d’ambiance douce, avec des sons de la nature ou des oiseaux, rendrait également cet espace encore plus agréable et relaxant, et permettrait aux clients de se sentir davantage dans une atmosphère de bien-être et de détente.

The location was perfect for town, right on the edge and a less than 5 minute walk to the main restaurants and bars, and the portas da cidade.

Alleen een binnenzwembad waarvoor je moet reserveren (maximaal 6 personen). Uitzicht uit de kamer aan de achterkant niet mooi.

Breakfast was great everything was fresh and staff were amazing. Always ready to help. Location is perfect. The Front desk staff go out of their way to assist in any way they can. Example a young girl from Holland ask me to use my phone hers had died, but was unable, I went to the front desk charged they charge her phone. I was appreciative of their kindness in a time of need.

Everything was fantastic, the could add more variety of fruits at breakfast. But as I said it was great for me.

Dear Gentle Reader, Close your eyes. Imagine you are staying in a €270 per night hotel that boasts a pool, spa, and gym. Imagine, upon check-in, your small party is informed of the requirement to RESERVE a time to use the pool (along with 4 others). You reserve a time: 5pm. As your appointed pool time approaches, you stop at the front desk to inquire where one may find a pool towel. Imagine, then, staff informing you towels are available to RENT whilst using the on-premises pool/sauna/gym. What you are imaging is the Hotel Gaivota.

La amplitud del departamento, tiene un supermercado al lado y esta cerca de Futurista, el museo y varios restaurantes asi como las oficinas para dar información turística.

Siento que esta ligeramente caro, pero no hubo nada que me desagradara. En realidad el lugar es muy conveniente.

Bardzo dobre śniadanie, fajna opcja zamawiania a la carte (wliczone w cenę), dzięki temu myślę że mniej jedzenia się marnowało. Lokalne, smaczne produkty. Super lokalizacja, pobliski parking podziemny (za dodatkową opłatą) to bardzo wygodna opcja kiedy wynajmuje się samochód na zwiedzanie wyspy. Z Ponty wszędzie podobne odległości, także dobra baza wypadowa. Na wyspach panuje duża wilgoć przez co rzeczy - stroje, ręczniki, słabo schną w pokojach. Na szczęście codziennie było sporządzanie pokojów wraz z wymianą ręczników hotelowych. Bardzo uprzejmy personel:)

W pokoju było troszkę ciemno, ale na szczęście nie spędzaliśmy za dużo czasu w pokoju;)

The interior of the hotel is very aesthetic, our room was very spacious and we had a big balcony even though we didn’t have a view the room was great! The Spa was very clean and the tropical shower was definitely my highlight! The reception was very helpful and friendly!

Nous avons adoré votre hôtel. On y a séjourné 4 jours et nous avons tout aimé! Le service impeccable, le buffet déjeuner était un délice, le confort de la chambre était parfait! L’hôtel est situé près de tout! Moi et ma nièce on vous donne 10/10 .

La façade extérieure est désuet, elle ne reflète pas l’intérieur! Ne vous y fiez pas!

O pequeno almoço poderia ter mais opções, mas era agradável. A vista do quarto dava direto àeuinas e casa abandonadas. Obviamente não é culpa do hotel, mas era desagradável. De resto, tudo muito bom.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gaivota Azores and would definitely recommend it. Our room didn't have a view, but it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed was beautifully made with high-quality white linens and elegant embroidered details, which gave the room a luxurious feel. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, omelets made to order, freshly baked pastries, a good selection of cheeses, fruit, milk, and other breakfast items. Everything was replenished promptly, so there was always plenty to choose from. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the city center, with many cafés and restaurants nearby. The public beach is only one minute away, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel also provides beach towels for €2 per towel, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our room was cleaned every day, and we also booked two excursions through the hotel, both of which were excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Hotel Gaivota Azores to anyone visiting São Miguel.

Nice hotel. Some website details are outdated/misleading. Small pool and sauna location need reservation. Breakfast has many options for all kinds of eaters. Beds and pillows are very firm.

It was clean. The room was bigger than other hotels. We were in family room and it was very comfortable.

It was a pleasure to stay here during our time at Azores. Very nice staff, tasty breakfast, comfortable bed everything what I need on vacation.

I would consider swapping cakes for homemade ones every day, because sometimes they were tasty, but sometimes they were store-bought and spoiled the taste after breakfast.

Kakerlaken im Zimmer, ein Zimmer ohne Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit, sehr laut, keine Kosmetikprodukte (Wattepads, Rasierer etc.) zu Verfügung, Flughafen durch die Reptionisten am Vortag bestellt: dieses wäre 15 min zu spät gekommen daher musste ich selbst eines in letzter Minute organisieren

Lage für die Erkundung von Ponta Delgada sehr gut (für eine Erkundung der Insel mit dem Auto würde ich ein Hotel außerhalb empfehlen (aufrund der zentralen Lage und dem Verkehr und Parkplatzsituation). Der Spabereich ist sehr nett, kann aber nur gebucht für 45 Minuten genutzt werden, dafür aber alleine.

Etwas hellhörig, vor allem zum Gang hin, Reinigungskräfte und vorbeilaufende Menschen hört man sehr gut. Design des Empfangscounters ist etwas steril und damit wirkt die Kommunikation mit dem Personal dann immer etwas unentspannt.

The perfect location - the view from the balcony was amazing! An easy walk to the centre, bars and restaurants. The room was adequate, a little stark but the bed was firm (just how I need it to be) and there was a ton of great pillows. Clean and tidy hotel. The two ladies on reception were lovely, helpful and always smiling. The buffet breakfasts were a bit luke warm but when ordering from the menu all was good.

We both had a fantastic time at this hotel. It was recommended by somebody we met whilst visiting the island last year but it far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were of a high standard. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. There was a fabulous choice for breakfast and the poached eggs were perfect every time. The wellness room was a fantastic addition and most times we had it all to ourselves. We had a suite which overlooked the marina and although the road was quite noisy with the balcony doors closed at night it never disturbed us.

Spa etwas kühl und nicht sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Super Dampfbad und Sauna

Wir hatten eine kleines Apartment mit zwei Zimmern und Küche. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, daher auch etwas lauter, was uns aber nicht gestört hatte. Die große Terrasse ist mit einem Esstisch und Sonnenliegen optimal ausgestattet. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Das Frühstück gut sortiert. Es gab sogar die Möglichkeit a la Carte diverse Omelettes, Toasts, Oat melas etc zu bestellen. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat jeden Wunsch sofort erfüllt. Einen Parkplatz gibt es nicht, aber man kann in der Tiefgarage (pro Tag ca. 15€) mit direktem Zugang vor dem Hotel problemlos parken.

Der Abfluss in der Küche hat etwas gerochen, was vielleicht auch an dem feucht-schwülen Wetter lag. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind aufgrund der dortigen Lüftung etwas laut.

This was a great place overlooking the harbor. The apartment was roomy, clean and well kept. It is on the main road on the waterfront, but surprisingly quite inside. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything I needed, including helping me book time at the hot springs. They have a limited amount of private parking available, so make sure you request it before hand, but there is a parking garage nearby if necessary. When checking in, you can park directly in front (in the taxi lane) until you get situated. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a grocery store and restaurants right next door. I would definitely stay here again.
