Great location for Kew Gardens nice breakfast Nice staff
Carpet had stains on bedding had catch marks on Pillows lumpy
Very convenient for visiting Kew Gardens and the basement car park is very useful. The receptionist was was very friendly and helpful.
The public areas are in need of redecoration. The carpet in our room (10) was threadbare in places and very marked. The bed headboards were greasy and the shower room was tatty (peeling paint, black mould on the tile grout and the toilet seat wasn’t fitted properly).
Overall experience was extremely good. Location, hotel, bedroom, and general welcome by all staff was great. Special mention for Alicja who was extremely attentive, friendly and who had a great sense of humour. No query or request was too much and she went beyond in her helpfulness.
Small point but would have preferred an option for brighter lighting in the bedroom.
All the staff made us feel welcome. The room was lovely and comfortable. Location was great for visiting Kew Gardens. Customer service was excellent and they helped by giving us a late check out.
Nothing it was all great.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable & well equipped for our stay. Being able to park onsite was invaluable and we were also able to leave our car after checkout time.
Nice comfy room. Hot lady on the desk
Clean & comfortable rooms. Great location opposite Kew gardens & walking distance to bus & station. Friendly helpful staff, great ambiance
There is nothing we didn’t like about this property
Breakfast was good, all staff were lovely, very friendly and professional, we were also used a walk in shower room as requested so very happy that our needs were met
Unfortunately pillows were hard but that is a personal preference and the road very noisy but we were in London so expected
Breakfast was excellent. Coffee was refreshing. Peaceful in the dining room.
Everything was perfect
Very clean and cosy
Great location, large comfortable, air-conditioned room, with lots of extras. Very good breakfast
We had two wonderful stays at Coach and Horses in August! We visit family and friends in the area and traveled to Yorkshire in between. Our room was spacious, clean and air conditioned! And staying in a pub means just going down the stairs (or lift) for meals, drinks and the pub quiz! (We came in 2nd and won a bottle of wine 😊.) We enjoyed breakfast and several other meals in the Library and on the front patio. The food was very good and we made sure to compliment the chef. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! We look forward to staying at Coach and Horses in the future!
Comfy room and honesty box. Mini bar. Quality furnishings.
Bath outside (wood) very tired.
Room was very spacious, well stocked with good facilities, good shower and comfy bed. Short walk from Kew Gardens station, very close to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew. Was able to check in easily and slightly ahead of check in time, as we were early and our room was ready. Lovely stay.
We stayed here two different nights on our recent trip. At the beginning of our Scotland trip when we landed in London before our next flight to Aberdeen and the night before our flight home. Wonderful boutique hotel with excellent location and a fantastic staff! The bartenders were on point and very good at pouring a great pint. The food was also very good. Alicja at the front desk was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed! The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Don't miss this hotel if traveling to London!!
I had a better night's sleep then at home.
It was a shame that we didn't stay longer.
Great spot!
Zero
Friendly reception staff. Good location, particularly for Kew Gardens.
Service in the restaurant was quite slow. Cups did not fit the coffee maker in the room
Lovely comfortable room. Immaculately clean. Really comfortable huge bed. Lots of facilities- iron, ironing board, hairdryer, excellent pantry station. Air conditioning almost too efficient. Really lovely staff. So helpful, welcoming, friendly.
No dedicated room for disabled. I bought my own loo raise but sadly the shower wasn’t walk in and the step up too high/dangerous -
Service by Alicjia
perfect location … short walk (10 - 15 minutes) to train (the Tube) station, very close to Kew Garden entrance, wonderful pub for indoor and outdoor dining
not a major issue and definitely an unavoidable issue but wish we had a view from hotel room
This hotel was in a good location for Kew Gardens, and a short walk from the Kew tube station. We caught a bus into Richmond - just a short ride away, and the bus stop was only a minute's walk from the hotel. The pub downstairs was quite pricey, so we tended to go into Richmond for meals. Kew and Richmond both lovely places to walk around and experience. And don't miss Richmond Park!
Great atmosphere, comfortable room and bed and safe car parking. A little on the expensive side. could be noisy in the morning, some guests seem not bothered with slamming doors and loud conversations.
A very comfortable hotel. Room was spacious with a really comfortable bed. Air conditioning (wonderful). Good coffee making facilities. Great shower. Hotel staff really friendly. A huge thank you to Mandy who made us very welcome, and looked after us in the evenings. The evening menu had a good selection, and the food was lovely. The hot breakfast menu had a good choice and the food was very tasty. I want to give 5 stars, but felt that the cold "help yourself" breakfast choices did not reflect the atmosphere of the hotel. Poor fresh fruit selection. The cereals were in glass jars. When I opened mine, it was mouldy. Slow service, and had to chase up replenishments, mainly coffee, milk. etc. I feel this isn't the norm, as the hotel was busy, and a bit pricey. Overall it was a great stay, and would still highly recommend
Great hotel and very friendly staff who are always very helpful
I’d like to take a moment to thank Mandy for taking care of me and my friends last night, she made us feel very welcome and more importantly she is a star like the eclipse
Fantastic location, comfy bed and air con!! Good breakfast, although we didn’t get asked what we wanted for cooked so just had buffet. Lady on reception is so friendly, 5 stars to her.
The corridors and bathroom are in need of some TLC. There is a shower curtain in bathroom which I don’t like.
It was clean & comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
I could only stay for two days.
Great location with a clean room and very friendly staff! Also excellent Sunday dinner and pub lunch available!
Everything was perfect. Our room was spotless and it was so quiet at the back of the hotel, beds were comfy so had a great nights sleep, even with a wedding event on the same weekend we stayed. The pub had a nice vibe. Breakfast was tasty and good value. Free parking was a bonus. The lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!
Vibe
Slightly delayed service but was a busy weekend. Not a game changer
Room was perfect and the bonus of air conditioning. Great location with free parking. 10 minute walk to Kew Garden station. Pub had a nice relaxed feel. Nice warm welcome at check in. Definitely will return.
We stayed here when going to a wedding locally - so location was excellent for us. We flew to Gatwick and it took around an hour on the train/bus to the hotel which was good and easy. The hotel itself was lovely - the staff very friendly and helpful, the food tasty - we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Everything was great.
I really can't think of anything bad!
Loved my 2 night stay in this Pub with a great atmosphere & genuinely warm service from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a good dinner meal on my first night and breakfast both mornings was delicious…..the salmon omelette!! My room was gorgeously renovated and so comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
Check in receptionist extremely helpful . Catered for everything we asked for, Early Check in too. 5 stars
Couldn’t fault Anything
Receptionist at check-in and check-out was particularly friendly and helpful. A wonderful first impression was made. I was actually delighted with the room - it far exceeded my expectations, was fully stocked with everything I could need and incredibly well furnished.
I visited the hotel bar a few times and did experience a bit of a wait at times. Admittedly it was during the heatwave and so perhaps busier than usual but that could have been anticipated and an extra bar staff member added.
From the moment we arrived staff were lovely, really friendly helpful and without exception from reception to bar to restaurant day or night, nothing seemed too much trouble.
Have no faults. We were only there one night but will return
Perfekte, ruhige Lage, top Personal, sauber!
Room comfortable, clean, good coffee making facilities, and very well air-conditioned. Breakfast and evening meal both excellent (particularly the strawberry pavlova!). Staff are all friendly and attentive, but especial mention of Alicja who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Very convenient for Kew Gardens (Elizabeth Gate is closest).
Great hotel perfectly situated near Kew Gardens Very friendly staff and typical pub food Would definitely stay again
Tyylikäs, ylellinen, erittäin siisti, erinomaiset ruuat ja ystävällinen palvelu.
Lovely staff right near kew garden and on site parking
It's need decorating and furniture in room was ripped on chairs and headboard was dirty all room had marks on. Walls and carpet same in bathroom paint work was bad
Szuperkényelmes, óriási matracok. Kedves, segítőkész munkatársak. Ajánlom a pubot is, kiváló angol pezsgő és jó konyha! A terasz a Kew Green szélén kihagyhatatlan.
A szoba megérett egy kis frissítésre: festés, fürdőszoba karbantartás, szőnyeg csere.
Essen im Restaurant nicht besonders lecker
The atmosphere. The location. The flowers outside. The cleanliness & the breakfast. The parking
Nothing
Our second stay & didn’t disappoint Very friendly staff gorgeous room perfect location overlooking Kew Green we stayed 2 nights on B&B package so ate at hotel one night -food very good as was breakfast. Can highly recommend.
The staff looked after us really well. We had an issue with our AC and we reported it to the bar manager, Firt, as he was the only person around at the time. Although he could have said it wasn’t his job to deal with hotel issues, he didn’t. He followed up with the the night manager and got everything sorted for us. Thanks Firt. Thanks also to Alicja for her care and attention the following morning. They both clearly care about the hotel and bar’s guests and it really enhanced our stay. Also, the property is ideally located for Kew Gardens and the National Archives. Both well worth a visit.
Nothing
The location for the national archives and Kew Gardens were perfect The staff were so kind and helpful The room was clean and comfortable
Gorgeous room with air-conditioning, comfy bed, lovely staff, great location
Bed was Squeaky
Great location to get straight into Kew Gardens. Nice place, decor, staff all very helpful and comfy bed. Unfortunately we has some negatives: We booked dinner for 8pm and were served straight away with drinks and orders taken. 20 mins after the starters hadn’t arrived and the waitress who was lovely apologised about the delay. However we still didn’t get the starters until 45mins later. By this point I had a restaurant next door and told the waitress we were cancelling the order. The waitress was very apologetic and I know sometimes these things happen. We stayed in room 19 which was a nice sized room with a big comfy bed. However we did have noise from below in the bed until about 1130pm with chairs and tables being dragged across the floor. The room itself was nice although the shower needs an upgrade from an old school material shower curtain to a glass screen. Special mention to Alisha and Mandy who looked after us throughout
The staff… Ayesha the hotel receptionist was absolutely amazing. I haven’t met such a kind, considerate and utterly brilliant person in such a long time. She made my stay unforgettable… thank you so much.
Friendly staff and traditional themes.
一切都很好,停车方便,前台服务人员非常热情,早餐丰盛美味,离Kew Gardens步行可达。
洗澡水中途突然变烫了一次,不知道是什么原因。其他都很好。
Another wonderful stay at The Coach and Horses. The wonderful Alicja is always so helpful, welcoming and attentive. The rooms are individual all have super comfy beds and the pillows are so soft, super cool air conditioning was so welcome after these hot days.
Everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Bed linen and towels top quality. Fabulous place.
We cannot fault it.
We’d like to give a special mention to Alicia on the front desk. She was exceptional and very, very helpful. She made a good stay even better. We would recommend the Coach and Horses to others and will definitely return.
We had roast dinner on the Sunday evening. It was far from piping hot. We didn’t complain but probably should have done.
Absolutely perfect stay last weekend for all 6 of us. From the super-friendly welcome and crafty beer followed by an excellent brunch to get prepare us for a full day with a happy, smiley young lady on front of house duty. On our return in the evening we were greeted by yet more great, friendly front of house staff. Very good food as the bar filled up ahead of England vs Norway. All staff coped well as the excitement rose and never lost their smile even during extra time
Came back here for food Wednesday evening, was well looked after by Mandy she gave us perfect service even though it was busy nothing was too much for her, food was good, atmosphere good, family friendly
Lokalizacja w spokojnej i pięknej części miasta, wdpaniała obsługa, czystość
Very nice hotel in a great location. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very helpful staff.
Loved this place right from we arrived the receptionist was so helpful we landed really early at 11.00am and was given our room the food we couldn’t fault our English breakfast one of the best a really relaxing stay you won’t be disappointed and we will be back to stay here again
Location was good. Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist.
Air conditioning could not be set lower and was cold in the room. Breakfast could have been served fresher.
Very convenient for kew gardens. Room was quiet and nice. Staff were amazing
Stayed three nights for Wimbledon and Kew Gardens . Great rooms , beds , air con that actually works quietly, free secure parking and quality food. However exceptional service from reception , Alicja. We had a very noisy neighbouring room who had no concept of tv volume at 2am. The problem was sorted extremely professionally by the staff who looked after us for a great nights sleep and stay.
Room was large by London standards, although carpet had seen better days and bedhead discoloured. Airco was not working but a fan was quickly provided. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. We booked direct as our daughter lives around the corner. Our flight was delayed and that caused anxiety as we were not sure if we could check in after 11pm. Phone went to voicemail when we tried to contact and there is nothing on the website to indicate that there is a night manager on duty. To our great relief we could check in at 11.45pm. Suggestion for some sort of uniform for night manager (polo shirt with pub logo?) Location is superb and would happily stay again.
Fantastic service and a lovely setting. Will be coming back!
If only all hotels ran like this one . Friendly, warm welcome from Alicja on reception despite our very early arrival . After cancelled trains and a ferocious heatwave this started our weekend break off wonderfully . (Thank you for all the great info on Chiswick you enhanced our visit no end . !) The high bar set continued throughout our stay . A minor issue with one of our rooms was swiftly dealt with by Luke , who stepped up and ensured we were all happy with the outcome. He went beyond expectations, many thanks . Rooms absolutely fine we hadn’t booked the most expensive option and were more than satisfied. Breakfast served in the quirkily decorated room with service from Amy who was engaging and enthusiastic . A fabulous hotel with an exceptional team . Well done
Excellent location & perfect venue with fabulous bedroom (we had a boutique room) and delicious breakfast. Staff were all friendly, helpful & professional making it a perfect stay. Alicja on Reception was particularly wonderful - from booking our room via telephone call (which she made very easy) and being the most perfect hostess throughout our stay. 😊
The rooms are exceptionally confortable. Bedding perfect. Shower very powerful and refreshing
As far as hotel is concerned, very little. It really is a good place to stay, very different to high end corporate hotels in feel but very close in terms of standard. The food on the other hand is to be avoided at all costs.
Fantastic stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was much better than expected with all the right facilities. The air con was an added bonus during the hottest day of the year.
We stayed at this pub for four nights while visiting family. The location and atmosphere are unbeatable. Rooms are very nicely done with handy amenities. For London un summer, value is exceptional, especially given the high quality of service. Cleanliness is a 10 of 10. Quite quiet in public rooms for a pub. We noticed no outside noise from our room.
We have stayed at the coach & Horses on many occassions. Fab location with ample parking and the rooms are really cosy like a front room lovely big bed nicely stocked mini bar. Our only negative is that there should be more tea bags available in the room. Yes I know we can ask for them but the rooms for two people and there were just two English tea bags. The girl on reception sorry cannot recall your name the blonde girl I think Eastern European is a diamond so welcomming and always greets us as if we were family. People like this are a rare find in the hospitality sector.
Excellent hotel, lovely clean, comfortable room. Really helpful staff. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. Great amenities, everything you need is in the room including mini bar. The breakfast was amazing and very good value. Always a good atmosphere and experience at the Coach & Horses. 10/10.
We booked The Atrium for a funeral gathering for about 40 guests. Everything ran smoothly, the food was delicious and the staff made everything very easy for us. Thank you very much.
Everyone and everything was lovely, especially the food and drinks, we will be back
Well located, overlooking Kew Green, with underground parking included. Room was comfortable and quiet with a fridge, coffee machine and suitable crockery provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome.
It was a very comfortable 2 nights in Kew. Staff were all super helpful and friendly.
Nothing really.
Room was comfortable with charismatic touches like the old phone and radio. Shower was good. Nice and quiet, despite being above a pub during the England match at the World Cup. Lovely to walk around Kew Green and the river.
Cute little hotel in Kew. The staff were amazing especially the people at the front desk. So helpful and considerate. Everything tip-top. Definitely coming back!
Just across the road to Kew Gardens, the lady on reception was very welcoming ,had parking below the hotel which was great
Great hotel, perfect location not only for Kew Gardens but for getting into central London too. Hotel staff are super friendly especially Alicja on reception. Great breakfast, comfy beds, very quiet despite the pub downstairs. Our second time staying there, highly recommend
Location, Staff, Car Parking on site. Excellent Sunday Lunch.
Time for a refurb - Breakfast was good but not spectacular.
Fina rum med sköna sängar Bra PUB och restaurang
Frukosten som ingår till rummet kunde vara lite mer att väja på.
Great atmosphere and food! We so enjoyed it we went three time during our six day visit to Cornwall! The linguine was wonderful as was the mushroom soup. Friendly staff even knew our drink order by our last visit.
Every member of staff we met were friendly and efficient.
Nothing
Great place to stay if visiting Kew Gardens - just a few minutes walk to the Elizabeth Gate. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious but is now in need of a little bit (!) of a refurb. Had the most fantastic Sunday lunch. Staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and efficient. With car parking an added bonus, if we were to ever visit Kew Gardens again there is only one place we would stay - most definitely the Coach and Horses. Thank you team.
Lovely rooms, great location and breakfast. Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend

Stayed with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. Hotel is delightful, great pub downstairs. Good food. Outdoor area looks out on a park and is close to Kew Gardens. Location-wise it is a ways from Central London (like being in Brooklyn when you visit NYC), but a tube station is nearby. We liked the location as it was peaceful. Rooms were great. Had a bit if a snafu at dinner one night, slow service while a big party was going on. Wait staff acknowledged it with a bottle of wine, management got wind of it and made it right at checkout. To me that is the big test and they passed.
What a disjointed place, We went to Kew Gardens and decided to pop in for a drink. Ended up choosing to eat instead of cooking when we got home. Bad Choice. Im not sure why it took so long? But when it arrived both are plates of food were at best warm. That was probably the worst roast dinner we have ever eaten. Anyway, the beer is good. Really good in fact. A good selection. The serving staff were really friendly. Would I come again, Yes, but not to eat. It has a really nice atmosphere and good energy.
A great hotel on Kew Green and very convenient for visiting Kew Gardens and the National Archives. We were in a twin-bed ground floor room which was very quiet, very clean and had excellent AC. Bathroom and bedrooms facilities were first class and bed very comfortable. Great value for room with excellent breakfasts included. The staff in the hotel are most attentive and keen to make sure everything and anything required was available. We will be back and we recommend travellers to Kew book this hotel for their own stays
A comfortable welcoming place to stay with friendly and courteous staff, especially Alicja! Handy for the tube and overground stations.
What can I say, except it was superb. Great food, great room, great service, great food, and definitely great staff and management. Eggs Benedict at breakfast was the best I've ever had. Evening meals also great. There were a couple of minor issues (internet reception and air conditioning) that were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I was there for business, but it felt like a holiday!
We had a lovely stay in Kew Gardens at Coach and Horses. The room was perfect with comfy beds, lovely furnishings and wonderful breakfast choices. Having the pub downstairs was a nice addition as well as the comfortable outdoor area. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Kew Gardens has lots of transportation options to get into London or other sightseeing areas and offers a much more relaxing stay than downtown London. I look forward to staying again.
Have stayed here many many times and always really enjoyed it . Last time we visited (December) we thought things were not up to the usual standard, however this time everything was top notch. The staff are delightful. The poached eggs at breakfast , just perfect. Many thanks to the lovely lady (nothing too much trouble) who brought our delicious food out to the patio (room 1) apologies that I don't know her name. Finally, the jewel in the crown of the Coach and Horses the wonderful Alicja, so helpful and welcoming. We have already booked again.
Very clean and in a fabulous position. The parking was great
We stayed on a very hot day. We booked two rooms and the air conditioning dis not work effectively. We did not get much sleep
キューガーデンのエリザベスゲートに歩いてすぐの所で便利
What a lovely experience! The room was so well decorated, with thoughtful little touches and all the supplies you could want (except tissues, but they said they were working on that!). The beds were super comfy - we were on a one week trip to the UK, and it was the best night's sleep I had. Everything was spotless. And, despite being on a busy junction, and it being quiz night, we had no noise in the room. The food wasn't exciting, but there are other places to eat. The secure parking was hugely appreciated, as was their willingness to let us leave our car there while we visited Kew Gardens. And, of course, it's on Kew's doorstep. We would very happily stay here again, even when visiting other parts of London.
Another lovely stay at the Coach and Horses. Alicja as wonderfully helpful and pleasant as always.
