the room was excellent , probably the nicest I have stayed in out of all hotel stays I have had , very surprised to have a shower AND a bath . Shower was very powerful and bath also very good . Spacious room , large bed which was very comfortable. breakfast was good with a lot of selections.

the only negative would be the parking fees which are pricey at £22 per 24 hours which I didn't use due to that , as I stayed at the weekend, the parking around the side-streets were free , if you could find a space

Foyer is always a great spot to relax, great location to get into central London and out to Heathrow.

Renovation was extremely noisy while in our room.

We choose this hotel because we we're attending a concert at Wembley and wanted a hotel close to a tube station and close to the motorway for our return journey home so we could avoid driving through London and The Clayton hotel fitted the bill perfectly. We had a big comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The shower was very good with a good strong flow. The room was in a very quiet spot and we slept very well. After returning from the night out we asked for extra milk for the room which was no problem. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and was enjoyed in a very comfortable and relaxed dining area. Check out at 11 was perfect

Nothing to dislike. Only personal preference of mine would be to have the shower with a hand held spray as well as the fixed head that was there, but shower cap was provided if I hadnt of wanted to wash hair

Good hotel in an excellent location with regards to Underground and Overground station (Gunnersbury). Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, clean room and plentiful breakfast with very good selection.

No shaver socket in bathroom! No fridge or in-room safe in the Deluxe Room.

Top Lage, unmittelbar zur Distric-Line, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Sehr großes Zimmer mit guter Klimaanlage und gemütlichen Bett. Das Frühstück war sensationell für England - wenn London, dann gern hier, etwas außerhalb, aber top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis 😉✌️

Vielleicht ein bissl mehr in den Ecken putzen und die Terrasse vor dem Hotel ist bautechnisch fertig, sonst alles chic.

- no toilet brush The shower head was not so clean The wash basin and shower not draining properly The bedside outlet is blocked by the nightstand. Because it sits too low, there isn't enough clearance to plug in a standard phone charger that has a bottom-facing cable. The room cleaning was good, but it would be nice if they replenished the water bottles during the daily housekeeping service, especially for multi-day stays.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Stayed here a few times and always clean and beds comfy. Bar/ reception area is huge and comfy with sofas/tables and no one hassles you.

We really enjoyed staying there

Despite booking a late checkout, checking with reception that they know about the late checkpoint and using the do not disturb sign on the room door. I still had someone checking why I still in the room. This happened last time.

Hotel in zona comoda per raggiungere il centro di Londra in 20 minuti tramite la metro (fermata a pochi minuti). Gli autobus fermano davanti all'entrata dell' hotel. Il quartiere è tranquillo, anche di sera. Abbiamo apprezzato la pulizia dell'hotel e la colazione di qualità. Ristorante con offerta e prezzi adeguati. Camera silenziosa e spaziosa. - Pas de frigo dans la chambre - Pas de smart TV (assez étonnant pour un hôtel 4*) - Gros désagrément lors du Check in. La réceptionniste (désagréable) me dit de contacter le service client booking moi même pour un problème qui n’était pas de mon fait (le problème provenait du logiciel de réservation de l’hôtel). - impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres

Location was perfect for my needs, and a short walk from the Underground/Overground. Breakfast was much better than anticipated and had a nice early start time and a fair price. Very reasonable overall cost (especially for London).

In these days of drought, waiting for warm water in the shower (on the sixth floor) was rather wasteful. A little lacking in ambience/individuality.

I was surprised there wasn't a porter to help me with my luggage, On most occasions, the staff helped me when I needed it, but I also had to call on uber drivers and friends for help. I'm 88 years old and have recently had colon cancer surgery and am under medical orders not to lift anything.

Room size and location of the hotel are good.

Room was good size but bath room lack maintenance, taps and drains were not working properly. I booked for walk in shower which was not there. The lady at check in counter was rude and careless, asking unnecessary questions. Was not polite to guide me for parking my car, which was an extra charge though it was hotel's own parking in the basement. One feels like being ripped off.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Clayton Hotel and was very satisfied overall. The room was spacious enough and comfortable, very clean and I especially appreciated having a bathtub in addition to the shower, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring London. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance. The self check-in and check-out process was easy and convenient and arranging a late check-out was also very straightforward. Another big advantage is the hotel’s excellent location close to public transport, making it easy to get around London. I would happily stay here again.

Check in delayed due to other roomz having a late check out. We had 3 rooms and 2 were delayed until 4pm which was not good enough as we had to be at a venue at 4.30

Toilet is not comfortable 🤓 quite hot in the room despite The Airconditioning and only had a duvet, no top sheet, so no other coverings to choose from.

Was visiting Wembley and wanted to stay at a reasonable priced hotel, about 5 min walk to a tube station, friendly staff and rooms as very clean! Defo worth the money and would definitely stay here again

Everything was great

Overall a very clean and well-equipped hotel, with very decent clean, and spacious rooms. The complimentary water bottles were highly appreciated. Great location as well, just a walk away from various options be it tube or buses.

Honestly not much I disliked. If I had to nitpick and be fully honest, I'd say some of the staff were very bizarre and non-chalant/robot-like bordering on mean, and even tried to charge us for early check-in (!!!), when most hotels would typically allow check-in whenever the rooms are ready. Thankfully they ended up giving us the rooms early without charging us eventually. But it felt weird, that's for sure....

Good choice

The hotel is located in Chiswick. It is renovated and very clean. Staff are all helpful and nice. The breakfast is good. It has a nice bar. We chose the hotel cause we had family in the area and walking distance to them. There is a nice pub very close to the hotel as well as restaurants and grocery shop.

Had a wonderful albeit brief stay here this past weekend. Booked well in advance to be an ideal stay alongside the Lenny Kravitz gig at Gunnersbury Park! Then they changed the venue of the gig to Crystal Palace. But our booking remained. Ultimately this meant we spent a lot less time at the hotel than we originally hoped as we had some significant travel across London and back. All that aside what we found was a lovely modern hotel with some welcoming and professional staff. The room was comfortable and the AC worked well. Breakfast was fantastic and much needed after the travels of the day before. Parking was secure and readily available and reasonably priced for London although beware you do get charged extra if you continue to park after check out time irrelevant of when you arrived the day of check in. We would definitely stay here again as it provided a great base to go in to more central London.

One noisy guest had a child running around at 1am but the staff did deal with it after a short while, the cooked breakfast wasnt very good st all.

I liked the location, the staff and the room was a great temperature given the heatwave. The curtains had been kept closed to maintain the temperature which was appreciated.

Definitely a good place to stay in that part of London. Garage facility was a major plus.

The atmosphere in the room was affected by a temperamental air conditioner

Posizione ottima, a due passi delle fermate della Linea Verde Gunnesbury e Chiswick Park. Camere molto silenziose e confortevoli, con acqua in camera e piccoli treat (tè, caffè, biscotti) molto graditi. Colazione internazionale discreta (anche se un po’ ripetitiva)

Il penultimo giorno di permanenza - quello precedente al check out - la camera non è stata rifatta. Inoltre - non so quando - mi è stata buttata la custodia in plastica con cui trasportavo igienicamente un dispositivo per lavare il viso (Foreo), all’interno della quale c’era il caricabatterie del dispositivo medesimo. Non una perdita irreparabile, ma la cosa mi ha comunque infastidito, anche perché me ne sono accorta solo al momento della chiusura delle valige per il check out.

God morgenmad. Fantastik placering i forhold til vores formål. Dejlig størrelse på rummet. Chiswick er et dejligt område med mange caféer og restauranter. Tæt på metro og bussen holder lige ude foran.

Rummet og nogle af fællesområderne virkede slidte. Løse lampeskærme, kontakter der var i stykker, løse håndtag og manglende dørstop på toilet og det ene skyl virkede ikke. Skulle betale 20£ for at tjekke ind 1,5 time før tid også selv vi ikke skulle bruge/have værelset før om aftenen. Savnede et lille køleskab på værelset i denne varme periode.

Excellent location just 100 yards from Gunnersbury Station, hotel is very well run, excellent staff and the hotel was very clean. Room very comfortable with air conditioning. Nice bar and lounge area, with facilities for working.

We've stayed here several times and this is the first time my rating has dropped below 4. We booked 2 x 'deluxe doubles' and got 2 very different rooms. Room 1 - small, S-shaped layout, walk-in shower, double bed, table rather than a desk, balcony (but locked with no access) and a 'view' of the main road. Room 2 - square, roomy, walk-in shower, separate bath, queen size (I think) bed, desk and cupboard space but no balcony or view. I queried this at reception "surely Room 1 is a standard double?" No, both were DELUXE as this hotel doesnt have standard doubles only EXECUTIVE doubles where you'd also get a fridge! So beware, deluxe is just entry level and a balcony you cannot use with a view of the main road is (apparently) equal to a bigger bed, more space, a bigger (higher specification) bathroom and more furniture. It's a great location for us coming up to London and we'll stay again, taking our chance with the Room lottery ... but be aware you may get very different facilities in your 'deluxe' (standard) double!

Hotel was lovely and keep to a high standard but when we checked in we got double charged and when we pointed this out to reception and management on and they were of zero help and wouldnt even talk or try solve the issue. Was terrible handled and for that reason i wouldnt go back near the place . Always heard good things of Clayton hotels but there customer service in this incident was terrible.

Even though it’s not central London, the surrounding area of Richmond, Kew and Chiswick make it a great spot. Great proximity to the tube which is why this is the fifth stayed here. Unfortunately the room we were allocated this time was not great. On a positive note our room was quiet, fairly well equipped with iron, coffee & tea making facilities and good air conditioning. And great reception staff. The smallest room so far and we always book same deluxe or executive room and they have great but this visit was lacking. No suitcase stand. The TV didn’t work. Husband was desperate to watch the racing as iPad dead but signal was so bad it was unwatchable and had to wait for iPad to charge to watch it. Basic stuff. Also the WiFi was so slow it was hard to work. The room had seen better days. It was shabby, with stained lampshades and dirty plug-holes. We were given a disabled room with a horrible bathroom that flooded after every shower. It had an interconnected door, which I am not a fan of and no suitcase stand. Maybe we need to book direct as used Booking.com, maybe that made a difference, though it didn’t seem to in the past. We would stay there again and just ask for a better room next time.

we have stayed at the Clayton Hotel Chiswick several times now for family reunions . It is in a good location for Gunnersby tube, has a good secure carpark and is only a short walk to the high street . The reception staff are helpful . We were served in the breakfast room by Olha Dhainja, Samuel each morning . a very kind and friendly staff member who was eager to please. Thank you
