Beechtree Motel

It was in a quiet location with a comfy bed and pillows. Lovely hot shower and the room was spacious and clean.

The toilet kept running after being flushed and took multiple jabs off the flush button and approximately 10 mins to stop running. Felt sorry for the people in the room below us. Thought I’d just turn off the water, but water then started leaking from around the tap. Reception was notified and hopefully they will arrange a plumber to fix this issue.

The bed was blissful. The cafe across the road was a bonus.

The motel was great, the owners were very friendly and obliging - the bed was so comfortable - we really enjoyed our stay. Small supermarket and takeway store across the road, restaurants and hotel within easy walking distance

The entrance to the stairs, the bottom part of doorframe is high and a significant trip hazard. Would be worth looking at that, someone could get seriously hurt.

Great location, quiet and comfortable beds. Staff was friendly. Kitchen had everything it needed.

The 2nd bedroom did not have any windows, so no natural light. The lock on the door was broken to the balcony and only security was a chain.

The staff: owners? were Very thoughtful and accommodating. They managed to find us a disable room at last minute when we arrived

Our upstairs lake view room was large and accommodated a group of us gettining together in the evening for Chinese takeaways.

We loved how clean it was The bed was big The bathroom had a nice spa Loved the bubbles Had a heat pump which was good since it was cold!

The view wasn’t the best Not a lot of kitchen space and right next to door

The rooms were hotel size with a tiny kitchen as you walk in. Only a tiny table & 2 kitchen chairs , with the lovely big bed there was hardly room to move let alone have anyone to visit like a motel where a sort of lounge is included in the main room with the bed.

We booked here at the last minute on our way down to Wellington. We enjoyed it so much that we booked again on the way home to break our trip up. I love a bath too. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff and super easy check in. Great location. Thank you!

Room was very clean. Lots of amenities e.g iron, facecloths, hand towels etc. Very comfortable bed. Amazing spa bath.

Our only issue was we had to go out on footpath to smoke but that's an us issue.

Shower door leaked onto bathroom floor, fan in bathroom could work better. Positioning of fridge in kitchenette made opening fridge difficult - door opened in front of room entry door.

Friendly team who are happy to assist with late check-ins. Location is close to the town area for meals etc and the rooms are quiet, clean and warm

Bathroom needed a full vanity not a pedestal basin. There was no where to put anything

For a family of 4 with 2 adult kids, it was really nice to have two bedrooms - one with 2 single beds and the other with a king bed. The kitchenette and comfortable living room were really nice as well.

No to bas bathooms are old
