O banheiro era um pouco pequeno e o chuveiro não tinha muita pressão para o banho.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026- Le vieux dépressif qui leur sert de propriétaire s'est permis de mal nous parler à moi et à la personne qui m'accompagnait pour 20 minutes de retard sur le check-out - le prix annoncé pour l'usage de la lavanderie était de 22000 pesos après pesée, c'est passé à 32000 pesos au moment de payer : ils m'ont volé 10000 pesos. - j'étais littéralement le seul client de l'hôtel, ce qui ajoutait au côté morbide de l'ambiance alimentée par la dépression du propriétaire ( ne me demandez pas pourquoi j'étais le seul client ) - l'emplacement est mauvais, dans une rue où il n yavait que l'odeur d'excréments et personnes sans domicile fixe, les gens que je connaissais ne voulaient pas aller à la calle 12 lorsque je leur disais de m'accompagner

The WIFI signal can sometimes lose its internet connection. It's not that important unless you plan to have video calls. Even then it's still OK, but you'll be interrupted and will have to wait about 1 minute every now and then until the signal returns

Reviewed May 16, 2026Art decor hotel in the old city with great atmosphere. Near to restaurants cafes & beach. Very comfortable & clean with both AC & ceiling fan. Reception staff v helpful with travel advice. Kindly prepared an early breakfast for me before leaving for Tayrona National Park.
Streets near hotel are empty around 9pm & advised by a guide is not safe to walk at night & to take a taxi.

Reviewed May 5, 2026desayuno rico, siempre habia alguien en recepción dispuesto a ayudar, ubicacion centrica, piscina bien aseada, cuarto bien comodo y aseado. Lo recomiendo bastante, fue muy acogedor.
el hotel estaba excelente, el problema es que si eres mujer, caminar a los alrededores en la noche es peligroso, sobretodo en el trayecto desde plaza bolivar al hotel, pero a veces hay policias que resguardan la zona, igual el dueño me aviso que tomara esas precauciones. Esto se resuelve yendo y viniendo en taxi o caminando acompañada.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026It was my long term base in Santa Marta, what a perfect hotel for that, so relaxed, quiet, the patio was amazing, breakfast so tasty. I was working during my stay and the internet was spotless. Javier, the owner, is such a great person, as well as Jorge and the cleaning ladies, everyone very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay away from massive party hostels! Muchas gracias equipo!

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Ich mochte den schön gestalteten Innenhof unter freiem Himmel mit Pool, Grün und verschiedenen Sitzecken sowie Hängematten. Ein Ruhepool in der Stadt. WLan ermöglicht hier auch bequemes work & travel. Es gibt den Service für Wäscherei und Gepäckaufbewahrung, Frühstück inklusive. Sehr nettes zuverlässiges Personal! Direkt in der Innenstadt.
Die Zimmer gehen zum Hof - wenn hier Gäste bis spät in die Nacht noch laut reden/ feiern, ist Schlaf schwierig.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Das Hotel Personal ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit und macht alles möglich. Der Jacuzzi im Innenhof mit dem riesigen Mangobaum ist meine Oase gewesen. Die Zimmer liegen sehr praktisch um den Gemeinschafts Platz mit Außenküche fürs Frühstück. Mit einem Lächeln wird die gekaufte Mango perfekt geschnitten. Täglich wechselnder Saft. Frühstück gut. Kaffee über den Tag gratis. Die Polizei Station ist zwei Häuser weiter und immer präsent. Das gibt am Abend ein gutes Gefühl. Ich war länger als gedacht.

Super petit déjeuner préparé sur place. Très propre. Et une mention spéciale à Jorge de la reception qui connaît bien les environs et est de très bon conseil.

Beds are firm and it is just outside the cultural district so it can be a bit sketchy at night time.

El desayuno podría haber sido mejor, o un poquito mas variado. Alrededor del hotel es algo solitario y puedes encontrar muchas personas en condición de calle. Pero eso no quita que te sientas seguro caminando desde la bahia hacia el hotel esta como a 5 a 10min.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von der Strand und anderes Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar! Das Zimmer ist ruhig, ich war mit meinem Bruder in November 2025, jeder hat ein einzeln Zimmer gehabt!
Ein Paar Kakerlaken hatten wir im Zimmer gesehen!

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025À 2 pas de l'animation mais la rue est tranquille. D'une côté vous êtes à 200mt de la promenade en bord de mer, de l'autre a 700mt vous arrivez au marché central, où partent les bus pour Minca et celui pour Parc Tayrona et Palomino. La rue casi en face vous amène en plein centre. Les chambres donnent toutes sur le patio jardins, où l'on sert le petit déjeuner et il y a une petite piscine jacuzzi pour vous rafraîchir. Il y a une corde pour faire sécher votre maillot et serviette, voire faire sécher un vêtement si besoin. Les chambres sont petites, sombres et vieillottes, mais ont tous les conforts: AC, grand ventilateur au plafond, un frigobar, un armoire penderie, une chaise et une tablette, des tables de nuit et des lampes de chevet. Le matelas est ferme et le linge propre et de qualité. A l'extérieur vous avez des tables, des fauteuils, pour lire ou vous reposer. Le perroquet est plutôt silencieux et le chat discret. Le ménage est quotidien et à votre convenance. Le personnel est adorable et le propriétaire disponible pour faire la conversation. A l'accueil, il y a un distributeur d'eau filtrée et des boissons ou des bières vendues au prix du magasin.
Si vous êtes sensible aux moustiques, attention à ne pas rester dehors sans vous mettre de l' antimoustique.

Reviewed Nov 30, 2025Very nice hotel! It’s old, but has everything essential-ac, mini fridge and tv. The owner/manager was super helpful. There is a parrot living there :) close to the sea and to the old town and shopping street.
I don’t have any complaints.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Ontvangst was ongedwongen. Het ontbijt wordt snel en met plezier voor je klaargemaakt.
Omwille van een afvoerbuis, staat het raam gewoon open. Ze hebben er een klein koelkastje voor gezet, maar muggen komen gewoon binnen langs deze weg. Je kan ook naar binnen kijken langs hier, er is geen gordijn voor. Het lawaai 😔

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, sehr schöner Innenbereich. Man ist schnell in der Stadt und am Meer.
Die Straßen rund um das Hotel waren sehr schmutzig, haben gestunken und es gab viele Drogenabhängige. Allerdings war 2-3 Straßen weiter alles sauber und es gab viel Polizei auf den Straßen, sodass man sich sicher fühlen kann.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Amabilité et sens du service du personnel, en particulier de Jorge le receptionniste et de Rosa la gouvernante. Les chambres sont propres et disposent d'un coffre, les matelas sont confortables. Nous avons profité de la piscine située dans la cour interieure. L'hôtel est situé dans la partie calme du quartier historique. Le quartier des bars et restaurants est accessible à pied (10 minutes). Le marché d'où part le bus pour Tayrona parque est à 15 minutes à pied de l'hôtel.
L'eau circule vía des tubes installés sur le toit qui prennent donc la chaleur du soleil durant la journée. Il faut tirer l'eau pendant un certain temps pour que l'eau soit à bonne température si on souhaite prendre une douche fraîche le soir. La plage publique accessible à 10 minutes à pied n'est pas belle. Les belles plages de Santa Marta sont situées plus loin et sont payantes.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Todo fue malo. Reservamos 3 noches y nos queramos solo la primera porque era tarde y no tendíamos otra opción. Esta todo descuidado y sucio; nos dio bastante asco. La zona, aunque esta a pocos minutos del malecón es bastante mala. No entiendo como puede tener esa puntuación. Ha sido de las peores o sino la peor experiencia que he tenido nunca. No vayan a este hotel!!
