Exceptional service, exceptional views.

Cet hôtel est un havre de paix au milieu de la verdure. Tout est incroyable ! On peut se promener dans la plantation de café, dans le jardin aromatique. Les chambres sont dissimulées dans la végétation et la vue est extraordinaire. Le personnel est adorable, le petit-déjeuner succulent et les restaurants également.

Tout était parfait, l’environnement est magnifique, la chambre était superbe et bien équipée et le personnel était très attentionné. Mention spéciale pour Irock avec qui nous avons fait plusieurs activités et qui a été très sympathique et passionné.

This hotel completely blue my expectations out of the park. The instagram videos and photos do not do it justice. Wow! This place is not a hotel but a complex. You are immersed in nature and greeted with incredible Balinese warmth. This experience was a bit more true of real Bali. The incredible activities offered at the hotel were showcasing the heart and soul of Bali. From wood craving to crafts and all sorts. The infinity pools are something else. It felt amazing to sit on the sen bed and look into the forests. The rooms felt like an apartment and we were told that this is your home. They offered coffee and snacks from their plantation as well as little treats daily. Excursions are easy to book from the hotel and you have a driver take you to the wonderful waterfalls- what an experience. The staff are exceptional. Walking around the grounds and discovering the vegetation and coffee was such an experience. The free afternoon tea was a delightful touch. Highly recommend!

Le lieu est le personnel sont incroyable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Meilleur hôtel que j’ai pu faire à Bali.

Parfois en fonction de l’heure l’eau de la douche était plus tiède que chaude.

La vue sur la nature est incroyable ! Le côté intimiste de la villa était super avec jacuzzi privatif ! Le restaurant était très bon avec du choix !

De high tea was wat povertjes. Wij kwamen van Ubud, hotel van dezelfde prijsklasse en daar kreeg je veel meer.

Beautiful resort and great room with private infinity pool and jacuzzi. Good food in restaurant, great breakfast. Interesting part of Bali. Great service. Good gym. Massage at spa was great.

Lots of flies some days which surprised us. They were so bad the last day they were swarming and we were unable to eat outside. Apparently this is common in certain parts of Bali at elevation like Munduk and Kintamani, we didn't experience this anywhere else in Bali. Not sure if they are better or worse at different times of year, but they are so bad sometimes that they could really spoil the experience here. Yoga area was secluded in trees rather than taking advantage of the elevated views and building a stunning yoga area overlooking the valley.

Incroyable resort situé sur les hauteurs de Munduk, sans doute le plus bel hôtel de notre vie : - vue imprenable jusqu'à la côte et les montagnes de Java le matin - trois restaurants excellents et diversifiés - petit déjeuner incroyable - piscines "infinies" et jaccuzi : seul défaut de l'hôtel sont les piscines non chauffées (à la différence des jaccuzi bien sûr) mais comme tous les hôtels de Bali - visite de la plantation de café (super intéressant) - magnifique et immense jardin super bien entretenu - afternoon Tea délicieux - personnel aux petits soins / très attentionné et réactif quand on les sollicite / nous ont même fait un petit cadeau pour notre lune de miel - court de tennis très sympa - villa avec des super beaux matériaux, grand espaces, très confortable - salle de sport tres bien équipée - massages en supplément mais vraiment au top Nous regrettons vraiment de ne pas être restés plus que 2 nuits, tant c'est un petit paradis, au calme, au frais et dans un cadre idyllique.

Nous sommes venu en famille 2 adultes avec nos deux enfants. Tout a commencé par un accueil sur mesure avec de belles attentions ainsi que notre transport avec nos valises dans une villa magnifique plus belle que sur les photos ensuite Léo c’est occupé de nous pour finaliser notre séjour il a su nous expliquer tout ce que nous avions besoin de connaître lors de notre séjour en arrivant tardivement nous avons préféré commander notre repas à la villa qui était également d’une qualité exemplaire je recommande ainsi ce complexe ainsi que Léo pour leur professionnalisme.

Être pas rester plus longtemps malheureusement nous faisons chaque jours des étapes différentes ainsi donc les hôtels qui pour le moment a été le meilleur après plus d’une semaine.

Beautiful stay at Munduk Moding. Our room was beautiful and large, I especially liked the large bath tub. The staff were helpful and always friendly. The restaurant at the hotel was one of my favourites whilst in Bali. I would definitely return

Lieu exceptionnel pour un moment de détente au cœur de la montagne / forêt de Munduk. Personnel très gentil.

Hôtel parfait si on veut rester à l’hôtel, pour visiter Munduk cela devient plus difficile car très excentré. L’hôtel propose peu d’excursions sur l’extérieur mais plus des activités directement sur place.

Fantastische locatie, schitterend uitzicht en superfijn en vriendelijk personeel. Goed eten, (in beide restaurants) - hoge kwaliteit en verfijnde bereiding. Ook een super leuke tour gedaan door de omgeving en de twin waterfals.

We hadden geboekt voor 4 personen. Volgens de beschrijving waren er in de villa een 2-persoonsbed en een slaapbank aanwezig. Dus gevraagd om een extra bed, wat mogelijk was en IDR700K zou kosten. Dit schriftelijk bevestigd door beide partijen. Bij aankomst was dat extra bed niet geregeld. En bij vertrek bleek dat die 700K per dag was, terwijl er expliciet 700K voor het hele verblijf was aangeboden. Dat is wel rechtgezet, maar dit zijn toch wat schoonheidsfoutjes in de verder perfecte uitvoering. Wat ook tegenviel, is dat ondanks dat we in een splinternieuwe villa zaten, er vochtproblemen waren - in de hele villa waren de ramen zeiknat elke ochtend, en in de badkamer vielen de koude druppels op je hoofd als je naar de WC ging. Verder zouden ze eigenlijk thermostaatkranen moeten aanbrengen, want het is zeer lastig om bijv. de douche op een constante temperatuur in te stellen. Als laatste laat de installatie van de jacuzzi's te wensen over. Vorig jaar waren we in een andere villa en die had exact hetzelfde probleem: om 5:30 wordt de jacuzzi opgestart. Dit gaat gepaard met een enorm kabaal van luchtbellen en pompgeluiden dat een minuut of 30 aanhoudt. Wij werden daar op onze eerste ochtend dus om 5:30 allemaal wakker van, waarna ze de timer naar 9:00 hebben aangepast. Dit zijn toch dingen die niet goed passen bij zo'n dure accommodatie.

Weinig te doen in de omgeving

Hemos pasado tres noches en este hotel y ha sido la mejor elección. El hotel es precioso, tiene dos piscinas infinitas climatizadas y jacuzzi con vistas al mar y a la selva. La puesta de sol desde la zona de las piscinas es absolutamente increíble. Las habitaciones son preciosas y enormes. Todo limpísimo y cuidado al mínimo detalle. El olor de las plantas y las flores te acompaña caminando por los jardines y la ruta a través de la plantación de café. El desayuno es excelente en calidad y muy abundante. El personal es absolutamente maravilloso, siempre ayudando en todo momento con una sonrisa. No es un hotel barato y tal vez el precio está por encima de la media en Bali, pero merece la pena pasar en este hotel al menos dos noches. Nosotros hemos pasado tres noches y no nos han sobrado porque la zona de Munduk es preciosa, con muchísimas cascadas y arrozales fuera de las rutas turísticas donde se puede conocer la auténtica vida rural de Bali. Hay muchas rutas de trekking muy recomendables para quien le guste caminar. En definitiva, un hotel de ensueño. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Munduk Moding Plantation is a truly beautiful and peaceful resort, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The spa was excellent, and the therapists were highly skilled and attentive. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly throughout our stay, especially our butler, Leo, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. We would happily return.

Traumhaftes Ressort, hervorragend in die Natur eingebunden, mit herausragendem Service, schönen geräumigen Zimmer/Suiten, tollen Angeboten und sehr gutem Essen. Der Preis jederzeit gerechtfertigt.

Alles top. Man muss sich einfach bewusst sein, dass man auf 1000 Meter über Meer ist.

Such a beautiful place with a with a real focus on environmental sustainability. It never felt busy and was peaceful and quiet. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. They make the stay so much more enjoyable. Always smiling and ready to assist. We stayed in the ‘Dadem Tree’ Villa which was like a small house, with its own private garden and jacuzzi(heated to 38 degrees). The bathroom was huge. It was such a nice space to relax. The food at the resort was of a very high standard too. The view from our room and the pool areas is stunning. You look west to Java and down to the north coast of Bali. If its not too cloudy, the sunset is spectacular. It does get a little cool in the mornings and evenings so it is worth bringing something to keep you warm. There were some great activities too. We took part in Yoga, Latte Art, local bicycle rides around the village and to the twin waterfalls. We are already planning to go back here next year.

Wunderschönes und einzigartiges Hotel mit ganz tollen Konzept. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool, das wunderschön und mehr als großzügig war! Das Frühstück war Wahnsinn vor der Auswahl und auch ansonsten ist das Essen sehr gut! Die Pools sind außergwöhnlich, mehr Infinity geht eigentlich nicht und es gibt extrem viele tolle Aktivitäten im Hotel, die kostenfrei buchbar sind! Höchste Empfehlung!

Établissement de rêve où le personnel est vraiment adorable, la piscine est dingue et les installations jecuzzi et fire place le soir où on peut faire griller des marshmallows est très appréciable ! La nourriture du restaurant est vraiment excellente, nous nous sommes régalés et le petit déjeuner incroyable ! De nombreuses activités proposées par l’hôtel impossible de s’ennuyer, Hâte de revenir !

Peut être le manque d’animation le soir, nous aurions apprécié des animations culturelles de type représentation de danse balinaise

Het hotel is fantastisch, alles is dik in orde. Het eten is lekker, kamers zijn mooi en je wordt enorm in de watten gelegd. De accommodatie is nog al heuvelachtig maar de staf brengt je met plezier overal naar toe met golfkarretjes.

Als je activiteiten via het het hotel boekt is het extreem duur. Grab werkt niet in de regio en daar profiteren ze van. Voor een 4uren trip betaal 1.000.00IDR. We hadden ene locale chauffeur gevonden die het vlot voor 400.000IDR deed voor meer bezienswaardigheden.

faszinierende Anlage, sehr gross und supernettes Personal. Übernachtungspreise für Bali oder Indonesien etwas höher aber Preis/Leistung stimmt. Die Anfahrt ist etwas anstrengender daher raten wir ein Mindestaufenthalt von 3 Nächten.

Hôtel de luxe où les clients sont réellement pris en compte, soucieux de leur bien être et confort. Chambre spacieuse, nous avons réservé celle avec le jacuzzi. Très agréable qu’il soit chauffé dans ce coin montagneux où les températures sont parfois fraîches. Hôtel isolé où il y a peu de choses à faire en autonomie, dépendant des excursions de l’hôtel idem pour les restaurants (aucun à proximité) Humidité et odeur d’égout dans la chambre, le personnel l’a pris en compte et a proposé de nous offrir en compensation des services.

Wonderful stay, no photo can show the amazingness of this place. Would recommend it for everyone!

The view is exceptional when the sky is clear and the property as a whole has so much to offer that I feel like the pictures don't do it justice. The coffee tour was great and the staff was adorable.

The dishes are on the pricey side for the location and there aren't really any other options around

Posto bellissimo, immerso nella natura e con una cura ai dettagli e agli sprechi molto alta. Ti seguono fin dal primo momento in cui arrivi e ti fanno sentire subito a casa. Anche la cucina è molto buona e le stanze sono molto curate e pulite.

The hotel is an absolute gem, we loved everything, from the excellent and kind staff, to the stunning infinity pool & view, the beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, all the complementary activities, it couldn’t have been any better!!!

We were warmly welcomed and given hydrangea leis to wear. The staff were very welcoming. Our room was beautiful and had the most comfortable bed of our tour. A huge range of coffees in our room. Our room was very peaceful with lovely views across the valley. The food here was excellent and it was lovely to have afternoon tea overlooking the pool. The infinity pool is very impressive. Almost everyone wanted their photo in, on or around it. We enjoyed the free tour of the plantation. We also had a cycle tour of the area which we really enjoyed.

The whole site is extremely steep with lots and lots of steps. There were 30 steps just to get up to the roadway from our room. They do offer free buggy rides but just be aware in case you are not very mobile. We did the self-guided trip to Munduk waterfalls. The hotel should inform guests that the correct footwear should be worn. The steps up and down the waterfalls are very steep, slippery and worn away in parts. A simple map would have been very helpful too.

Excellent mood with exceptional hospitality. Beautiful location - felt wonderful to be surrounded by such lush vegetation. Star factor amazing. Wonderful selection of activities. Fabulous food and coffee. We really enjoyed the jungle trek. Truly appreciated the extra effort for my brothers birthday.

Jaw dropping views…not just from the sparkling heated infinity pools but also from our room. We loved sitting on the balcony of our room looking out at the treetops and down the valley to the sea below . Delicious food . Small but excellent wine list The fire pit with marshmallows was very welcome . All the staff were amazing..friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We hope we can return

La gentillesse du personnel, les deux piscines à débordement, la qualité du petit-déjeuner, les deux restaurants, la propreté et les petites attentions en chambre (café à volonté, cookies, eau, chocolat le soir), les très (trop) nombreuses activités proposées, le calme et la sérénité de l’endroit.

Le débit d’eau insuffisant dans la douche, les nombreux insectes/araignées dans la chambre (bon après tout on est dans la nature..). Le manque de réactivité de l’équipe lors d’un souci médical personnel (2h d’attente pour une réponse qui aurait dû venir en 1 minute).

Je zit min of meer opgesloten. In Munduk werkt Grab niet . Als je naar buiten het resort wilt ben je al gauw 400000 kwijt. Dat is absurd veel. Lopen is geen optie. Dus je moet in het hotel blijven en eten en drinken in het hotel is nog duurder dan in Europa!
