My wife and I had the pleasure of spending seven nights in the Insakan Suite, and even though we travel a lot, this was easily one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The photos on the website are absolutely accurate. Actually, they don’t quite do it justice. The breathtaking hillside setting, with views across the forest all the way to the distant ocean, and the gorgeous pool area are even more beautiful in real life. But none of that was the best part of Umah Lusa. By far, the best part was the team. Staying here felt less like being guests at a hotel and more like being welcomed into the home of friends, friends who genuinely cared and did everything they could to give us the most wonderful time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Umah Lusa team. You made this place truly special for us. We’ll be back. ❤️

Nous avons passé 3 magnifiques nuits à Umah Lusa et notre séjour a été parfait du début à la fin. 🌿 Le service de l’hôtel est d’une grande qualité : toute l’équipe est extrêmement accueillante, à l’écoute et répond toujours rapidement à nos demandes. Nous avons également profité d’un massage balinais, qui était vraiment excellent. L’hôtel nous a aussi organisé une excursion pour visiter un temple ainsi qu’une cascade, tout était très bien organisé. Nous avons également pu confectionner directement à l’hôtel une offrande balinaise, appelée Canang Sari, une expérience très intéressante et enrichissante qui nous a permis de découvrir un peu plus la culture locale. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est formidable, aussi bien pour la qualité des plats que pour le service. Nous avons également utilisé le service de laverie : nous avons récupéré nos vêtements propres et parfaitement pliés dès le lendemain. Un vrai plus pendant un voyage ! Concernant l’endroit en lui-même, Umah Lusa est situé dans un véritable havre de paix, au milieu de la forêt. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et dépaysant. C’est exactement le genre d’endroit que nous recherchions à Munduk. 🌴 Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans aucune hésitation. Nous n’avons absolument rien de négatif à relever sur notre séjour et, si nous avons la chance de revenir un jour à Bali, nous reviendrons très certainement à Umah Lusa. To miejsce jest absolutnie magiczne. Bardzo żałowaliśmy, że nie mogliśmy zostać dłużej. Jedzenie przepyszne (najlepsze śniadania podczas całego pobytu na Bali w wielu hotelach), czysty basen, klimatyczne spa. Pokoje czyste, wiele udogodnień. Bardzo polecamy!!! ❤️

Jedyne czego mi brakowało, to słuchawki pod prysznicem, ale da się przeżyć te kilka dni bez :)

酒店员工很友善，积极解决我们的需求和要求，包括临时用车和凌晨5点的早餐盒准备，阳台的设计非常好，让我们可以在日光下吃早餐。

由于酒店在山上，无可避免会潮湿和有虫子，而卫生间位于房间后方，好几处是长时间无人搞卫生的，留有蜘蛛网和灰尘，毛巾也未能保证干爽舒适，与高房价不匹配，如果是普通小旅店则可以原谅，这么高的房价就不应该了。

Todo, la habitacion es exposicion de decoracion. Grande luminoso, con estilo, con detalles poco usuales en una habitacion de hotel. El personal fue el mejor de todo Bali. El desayuna increible. Podes desayunar al aire libre con vistas. La piscina un lujo. Todo 10 de 10 !!!!

No quedarme mas. Es para relajarse, no hay nada en los alrrededores, pero si puedes darte el lujar de pasar un par de noches, no te lo vas a olvidar

De huisjes en het personeel waren top. Hele luxe, mooi aangeklede huisjes. Het personeel is super vriendelijk.

De hygiëne van de huisjes kan echt beter. En let op mbt de locatie; er zit echt helemaal niets in de buurt dus je bent afhankelijk van het eten op het resort. Het eten was prima maar de keuze aan menu's is wat klein.

Il n'y en pas beaucoup des boutiques resort comme celui là et je connais bien la région ! Les chambres, la qualité du service exceptionnelle, le restaurant - de loin le meilleur de la région, la vue sur la vallée et le coucher de soleil... tout y est pour passer un séjour exceptionnel. Bravo et merci à toute l'équipe, vraiment aux petits soins, clairement les standards indonésiens de sourire et de gentillesse, augmentés par l'exigence sur la qualité et la satisfaction client d'un hôtel haut de gamme.

Malheureusement, la route en contrebas et assez passante, qu'on ne voit pas mais qu'on entend... tout le temps... sauf le week-end, vient un peu noircir le tableau. Si j'étais le patron, je ferais une sorte de mur végétal anti-bruit, à l'oblique, qui couperait 50% du bruit des motos.

One of the hotels I loved the most during our trip! It feels more like an intimate, charming boutique hotel, with so much attention to detail. We had a small issue during one of our massages, but the way the staff handled it was exceptional — they immediately offered us another full treatment complimentary, which really showed how much they care about their guests. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and after meeting him I understood exactly why this hotel is so delightful and full of personality. Do not miss the complimentary afternoon tea! Such a beautiful experience. The food was amazing too, and finally a place with a really good selection of wine! 🍷 Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful hospitality and those little details that make you want to come back. Definitely one of my favourites. 🌿

The property is perched on a hilltop amidst sumptuous gardens. Amazing views from rooms which are VERY VERY large. The detail of guest amenities was impressive, from guest umbrellas to insect spray etc etc etc.

The location is such that you need transport to get to any activities or shops. The place is excellent for a restful experience but not if one is after activities.

The best hotel we’ve stayed at so far in northern Bali! 10/10 for the staff! Amazing atmosphere, incredible views, great food, and a heated pool. Definitely deserves 5+ stars!

Umah Lusa I spent a couple of days at this beautiful boutique resort in North Bali with two of my children, aged 21 and 16, and can honestly say it's one of the loveliest places we've ever stayed. Perched on a gentle mountainside surrounded by lush tropical jungle, you arrive at a beautifully designed open-air Balinese reception that immediately instils a sense of peace. From the moment you step inside, it feels less like a hotel and more like a sanctuary. The resort consists of just six beautifully crafted Javanese-style cottages, each with its own character. The interiors blend traditional craftsmanship with modern Balinese luxury, with high-quality linens and huge, wonderfully comfortable beds. Outside every cottage is a spacious daybed style sofa where I loved sitting each morning in an almost meditative state with a cup of Balinese coffee, taking in the endless shades of green stretching across the jungle and down towards the sea while listening to the birds and the sounds of nature. In the evenings, it became the perfect spot for a cool drink while watching the sky transform at sunset. There's a lovely big pool for swimming and cooling off, and a smaller hot-pool, more generous than your average hot-tub, for winding down. Being about 20 minutes up into the mountains from Lovina, the days here are pleasantly cooler than at sea level — a real relief after the heat lower down. A real highlight for us was in the evenings, when the staff built a fire and brought out marshmallows, and we simply sat and talked under the stars in the cool night air. I hadn't expected that in Bali. Although there's plenty to do nearby—waterfalls you can swim in, dolphin trips from Lovina, and more—the resort itself invites you to slow right down. My children just wanted to "be" there, which is rare; they never once asked about a gym or activities. As my youngest perfectly put it, "the ultimate cortisol detox.

Tout était incroyable et parfait ! La cadre est absolument magnifique et décoré avec goût. La chambre est très confortable et très bien équipée. Nous avons adoré nos 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Merci au chef du restaurant pour ces plats délicieux et à tout le personnel pour la qualité du service et toutes leurs attentions ! Je recommande vivement cette expérience.

Un séjour absolument extraordinaire ! Nous avons passé 4 jours merveilleux à l’hôtel UMAH LUSA. Tout a été pensé pour offrir un moment de détente absolue dans un cadre verdoyant, calme et apaisant. L’équipe est d’une attention tout en discrétion, toujours prête à devancer le moindre désir (organisation de taxis privés, location de scooters, etc.). Côté restauration, c'est une très belle réussite : les plats sont de grande qualité, préparés avec des produits locaux et présentés avec beaucoup d'élégance. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux avec un choix varié. Nous avons également particulièrement apprécié l’heure du thé offerte tous les après-midis ainsi que des douceurs sucrées dans votre chambre au coucher du soleil. La chambre est très spacieuse, magnifiquement décorée dans le style balinais avec un goût raffiné. Mention spéciale pour les massages qui sont tout simplement extraordinaires, assurés par une équipe de masseuses charmantes. Enfin, avoir l'une des deux piscines chauffée est un vrai plus extrêmement agréable ! Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Un véritable havre de paix !

Un établissement au top, un personnel aux petits soins et très attentionné, chambres joliment décorées, spacieuses et confortables, petits déjeuners et repas copieux, bons et bien présentés (à la française), possibilité de prendre un guide pour aller voir les principales excursions depuis l’hôtel…

Rien, tout était impeccable! Si j’ai la chance de voyager de nouveau à Bali, je retournerai dans cet hôtel les yeux fermés, en espérant y retrouver la même équipe 🤗

Almost near perfection ;-) Wonderful hotel in the middle of the jungle for a unique experience. Beautiful pool with an amazing view. The garden is a little treasury. Nice Bali decoration of the rooms with a modern touch… And such a lovely staff! One of the best hotels in Bali, for sure!

From arrival to departure this place excelled . It was absolutely incredible, the staff the facilities the scenery, the extra attention to detail , such as little gifts/ treats left for us each evening, little positive affirmations, the food/ the restaurant, the location for dinning, the service. Everything was spot on. We have no hesitation in recommending this place for anyone who wants the perfect getaway without having to be concerned that you will be disappointed. It was superb!

El trato del personal es simplemente excepcional: cercanos, amables y siempre atentos para que la estancia sea perfecta. Mención especial merece el restaurante, con un concepto moderno, internacional y de gran calidad. Cada plato estaba delicioso y la experiencia gastronómica superó todas nuestras expectativas. En conjunto, ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Sin duda, volveremos y lo recomendaremos a cualquiera que busque un hotel diferente, elegante y con un servicio de primer nivel.

Este hotel es una absoluta pasada! No sabía que podía existir un lugar así. Lo reservamos a última hora en nuestro itinerario y estoy arrepentida de haber estado solo una noche aquí, da una pena tremenda irse. Nada más llegar en la bienvenida sabes que estás llegando a un lugar muy especial, el personal es maravilloso, cuidan cada detalle y están atentos a cualquier cosa que necesites. El hotel es preciosisimo! La habitación es un sueño de bonita! Solo mira las fotos de su página, es así tal cual! El baño, increíble. La Infinity pool con ese telón de fondo… no puedo describir la sensación de calma y desconexión. La comida es riquísima también. Ojalá pueda regresar algún día! Alójate aquí si puedes, no te arrepentirás.

Our stay at Umah Lusa was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly special, as the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. My wife and I were in awe throughout our entire visit. The staff were the cutest, always so nice, polite, and caring. On our jeep sunrise tour, they surprised us by packing our breakfast and handing it to us at 2 AM—an extraordinary gesture that exceeded all expectations and was deeply meaningful. The villa itself was a haven of peace, so much so that we chose to spend our second day simply enjoying the luxurious amenities, spa, and serene atmosphere of the property. The food and spa experiences were outstanding, making our anniversary truly unforgettable. The overwhelming attention, love, and care we received filled our hearts with joy. As we checked out, we were touched by the thoughtful gift of a Ballines bracelet, a unique and cherished token. we’ve never encountered this level of service in any hotel worldwide, despite our extensive travels. We wholeheartedly recommend Umah Lusa for your next stay and are certain we will return one day.

A beautiful hotel-resort… each guest is accommodated in a standalone Balinese-style building set in a stunning garden with magnificent views of the valley and jungle… a beautiful lap pool with an adjoining hot tub… The secluded location is perfect for relaxation but requires a car or taxi driver The food is delicious… and their ice cream is exceptional A lovely staff that goes out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable

Just one comment… which has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel… Balinese people are hardworking and resilient, so they get up early and head off to work on their scooters… at 6 a.m. and 6 P.m… so it’s a little symphony of sounds that can’t be changed! Hat off andrespect for them all. Otherwise, it reminds me of French people who travel to the countryside and then complain and get upset because the rooster’s crowing bothers

We have made a mistake to stay in this place as the beginning of our Bali-Lombok journey, because it has spoiled us and set a very high standard :-) We were looking for a calm place in the hills of Bali to acclimate after a long flight before travelling further and we were positively surprised what have we experienced. Superior staff, exceptional service which started even before we got there, every day we were surprised with small details, small perks and care! Unique tranquility of the place with a stunning view, calm (this is a "resort" which by design will not overcrowd) atmosphere and feeling that you are a guest is making this place a gem. And we already miss the signature cocktail Banda Spice! 😄 Villa itself was a kingdom, really nice and spacious! Spa service was one of the best, if not the best, I have experienced.

You need to be aware that this is a place in the hills, next to the road, which means - if you are not a fan of MotoGP you may find noise of scooters battling the hills annoying, but you can hardly escape that in Bali. For us we barely noticed that after the second night.

waanzinnig luxe intiem klein resort met super afwerking, sfeer en personeel. Een verademing op een berg te zitten waar het in de avond afkoelt, een waanzinnig uitzicht op zee vanuit de infinity pool. Wij waren met ons gezin met 4 kinderen en hadden 3 kamers (zeg maar rustig huizen) tot onze beschikking met extreem veel oog voor detail ingericht, luxe en netjes. Fantastisch mooie verande per huisje, alle voorzieningen, badjas, slippers, minibar, koffie the. Echt heel goed en mooi. Zowel ventilator als airco en zelfs muggenspray van het huis. We waren super te spreken over het ontbijt (zowel Europees alsook Balinees mogelijk), het avondeten, heerlijke wijn. Trouwens ook fantastisch welkomstrdrankje.. Heerlijk gebruik gemaakt van de sauna en een prachtig ritueel bij de tempels voor de sterfdag van mijn vader. Je leest het al, hier komen we terug. Mooiste accomodatie van onze reis van 3 weken door Bali.

Большие, красивые и главное продуманные номера. Отличный сервис. Классный бассейн. Особенно приятно вечером посидеть в горячем бассейне под звездным небом. Завтраки скромные, по меню, можно выбрать только одно блюдо. Меню в целом не плохое. Вкусная утка. Очень внимательные персонал.

Every single moment of my few days were exceptional. The setting is exquisite, the farm to table meals are of an amazing standard and the staff can not do enough to make the stay memorable - from the inspiration notes they leave you when they prepare your room for the evening to asking if you need to escorted for your spa treatment the service is gold star! If you are seeking a peaceful place with energy that feels healing to take some reflection time I highly recommend Umah Lusa. I spoke to other guests while I was there and no one wanted to leave.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like the whole stay was wonderful.

La beauté du lieu, la vue, le jacuzzi (pratique pour les journées brumeuses et pluvieuses), la possibilité du room service pour tous les repas, la qualité de la nourriture, le dîner aux chandelles dans la véranda, le thé offert dans l’après-midi, les massages sont parfaits, les meilleurs qu’on ait eus en Indonésie

Nuisances sonores tôt le matin (dès 5h30), quantité de nourriture variable (peu au petit déjeuner, beaucoup au dîner, qualité superbe mais quantités parfois surprenantes), le prix des taxis/chauffeurs proposés par l’hôtel 2 à 3 fois supérieur aux prix pratiqués.

Das Hotel ist atemberaubend. Tolle Aussicht, tolle Bungalows und ein überaus herzliches und aufmerksames Personal. Der Nachmittagstee ist eine schöne Idee, wir haben es genossen. Der SPA mit Sauna und Massagen ist hervorragend, wie auch das gesamte Essen.

Die Preise des Essens sind hoch aber die Küche sucht geschmacklich seinesgleichen. Es war überragend! Es wäre schön wenn es auch für Familien die Möglichkeit gäbe zu buchen. Die Bungalows sind allerdings Kur für 2 Personen ausgelegt, wenn auch groß genug für Familien.

Prachtige, comfortabele en grote kamers in een vrijstaande lodge. Het hele resort straalt rust uit, met aandacht voor de kleinste details. Mooie ligging op een berg met een mooi uitzicht. Infinity pool in de tuin met een hottub. Het personeel is geweldig en heel behulpzaam. Ze komen niet elke keer vragen of alles in orde is, maar voelen aan als je iets wilt vragen. Het eten is ontzettend goed. Enorme aanrader, wij hebben genoten en komen terug.

Het enige minpunt is de slechte weg berg op en af naar en van het resort. Niet aan te raden om hier in het donker te rijden.

Everything about this small boutique property was just lovely. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the rooms were spacious and had everything you could possibly need - the views were stunning and the vegetation lush. Fantastic experience.

Le personnel aux petits soins, la piscine et le cadre idyllique font qu’Umah Lusa est un très bel hôtel. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

Nous avons eu l’impression à plusieurs reprises qu’ils sautent sur chaque occasion pour nous faire payer des petites choses par ci par là - e.g des plats (bien que à la carte) en supplément pour le petit déjeuner, les tarifs exorbitants des drivers qu’ils nous proposent, ou j’ai cassé un verre et on m’a demandé de le repayer. Pour un hôtel de ce standing, nous avons trouvé cela décevant. Aussi, sachez qu’il est compliqué de se déplacer autour - prévoir un petit budget pour pouvoir prendre un taxi à la demi journée par exemple. Le prix proposé par l’hôtel était 1300000 rp/70euros pour 3h.

Het ontbijt was perfect, wat van een goed ontbijt mag worden verwacht. De locatie, de kwaliteit van de accommodatie en het onderhoud van de tuin was subliem. Een 10 waard.

This place is a sanctuary for relaxation. The views are stunning, the cabins are gorgeous, and the entire team exude such kindness and care that it's impossible to not feel at home. I was a bit nervous about the food not including many vegan options, and the kitchen even made me vegan bread for breakfast! I cannot recommend the spa services enough-- particularly the scrub which is a homemade concoction that will stimulate the senses and cells. I'm grateful to have discovered such a luxurious gem in Munduk and recommend it to anyone visiting Bali. Thank you for a rejuvenating stay. 🙏

Tout était fantastique . La chambre merveilleuse spatieuse avec belle vue , la nourriture exceptionnelle riche et faite maison organique de leur ferme , spa très bon rapport qualité prix . Personelle au petit soin présent et souriant . Loin et route compliquée mais le séjour en vaut définitivement la peine .

Magnifique ! Le charme balinais associé au luxe dans une version élégante et pleine de charme. Les chambres sont extraordinaires ! Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail : nos éventuels besoins sont devancés et tout est à disposition. La salle de bain est juste magique ! Mobilier et décoration raffinés, tout de bois, style balinais. Les extérieurs sont luxuriants et fleuris. La piscine a débordement avec vue sur les montagnes et la mer est à couper le souffle. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Adorables, avenants et non intrusifs tout en étant toujours présents. J'avais oublié mes lunettes de soleil dans un précédent hôtel. L'hôtel s'est chargé de les récupérer, ce qui m'a enlevé une épine du pied. Le restaurant est juste exceptionnel en terme de produits et de saveurs. Je recommande Umah Lusa à toute personne ayant envie de s'offrir une expérience extraordinaire ! Merci Stéphanie A savoir : Voiture ou scooter obligatoire pour tout déplacement

Le bruit de la circulation des nombreux scooters très tôt le matin (la route n'est pas à côté mais le son porte jusqu'aux bungalows - en même temps, mes enfants eux n'ont as été gênés)

Wat een geweldig hotel! We zijn enorm in de watten gelegd door iedereen die er werkt. De kamer was geweldig: groot, mooi en schoon. Bij het zwembad staan genoeg bedjes voor alle gasten, en in de middag krijg je er afternoon-tea geserveerd. Je kunt heerlijk eten in het restaurant, zowel bij het ontbijt, bij de lunch als diner. Een welverdiende 10!

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à Umah Lusa et nous avons vraiment regretté de ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps! C'est l'hôtel que nous avons préféré durant notre séjour de 3 semaines. Plus qu'un hôtel, c'est une expérience. Tout est fait pour qu'on s'y sente bien, dans un cocon hors du temps. Déconnexion assurée. Les installations sont magnifiques. La chambre est très confortable. Nous avons adoré la piscine à débordement avec un petit bassin chauffé, vue sur la nature et la mer au loin, installés sur des lits, à contempler le coucher du soleil. Le restaurant est tout simplement exceptionnel, avec une carte de plats indonésiens et de plats occidentaux cuisinés à la perfection. Les produits utilisés sont frais. L'hôtel possède une ferme, qu'il faut absolument visiter. Sur place, on a pu voir et goûter tous les légumes, fruits, épices (clous de girofle), c'était une visite très intéressante. Le thé de l'après-midi était très sympa. Le soir, après le dîner, on peut aller faire griller des guimauves sur le brasero et contempler le ciel étoilé. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux aussi. Tout le personnel était d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle et d'un sens du service remarquable. Nous avons fait 2 jours d'excursions avec 2 membres du personnel de l'hôtel (très très sympathiques), pour visiter une petite partie des nombreux sites autour de Munduk : nous avons fait la visite d'une vraie plantation de café (Kejapa Coffee plantation), nous avons vu aussi la fabrication de paniers en bambou, Twin Lake, les cascades de Banyu Wana, le temple Ulun Danu. Il y a en effet beaucoup de choses à voir autour de Munduk. C'est une région de l'île magnifique, il faut absolument y aller et rester un moment. Ne restez pas trop longtemps à Ubud, allez à Munduk! En outre, il y fait un peu moins chaud, ce qui est très appréciable. A l'hôtel, nous avons eu le meilleur massage de notre séjour.

El mejor hotel en el que nos hemos alojado, la tranquilidad, paz, el servicio, la comida, los masajes, el paisaje, todo esta cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle.. absolutamente todo fue perfecto. Si os alojáis en Umah Lusa no querréis iros nunca 😬 En las fotos ya parece bonito, pero en persona impresiona todavía más. Además visitamos su granja/huerto y fue muy interesante. En general Fue una experiencia mágica, tanto que mi pareja decidió pedirme matrimonio ahí! ❤️ no puedo esperar a volver!!

Personnel très disponible et agréable dans un cadre naturel. Très bonnes infrastructures (restauration, spa, proposition de services).

L’hôtel reste difficile d’accès, impossible de faire sans chauffeur. Un peu de bruit le matin car situé à côté de petites routes.

Sehr freundliches Team mit mega Service. Das große Team für die nur 6 traumhaften, sehr großen alleinstehenden Zimmern, vermittelt einen familiären Umgang. Sehr exklusiv gelegen mit traumhaften Blick ins Tal bis zum Meer. Ideal geeignet zum Entspannen. Das Konzept from Farm to table ist beeindruckend und fast schon Gourmet mässig umgesetzt (breakfast-lunch-diner). Der Invinity-Pool ist kühl zum Abkühlen, der kleinere Teil ist sehr warm zum Aufwärmen.

Die Türen sind nicht zu 100% dicht. Frühstück bietet beschränkte Auswahl.

Das Umah Lusa ist ein kleines Paradies auf Erden. Das sehr freundliche Personal war fast wie Familie. Die 6 wunderschönen Villen sind sehr geschmacksvoll und luxeriös eingerichtet. Alles in diesem Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ein Genuss. Unbedingt eine Fuss-Massage mit Drink beim Sonnenuntergang buchen.

Umah Lusa is a credit to those who envisioned it, created it and work every day to ensure the highest standards of genuine hospitality. The setting is spectacular; an almost heavenly hilltop aspect, seemingly above the clouds and a world away from the tourist crowds. The views over the hills towards the sea, the stunning pool, and the beautiful gardens are just the start. The stand-alone rooms are quietly luxurious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The in-house massage was excellent, and the steam room and sauna were a welcome addition. The restaurant setting is sublime at any time of day, and we enjoyed everything we tried from the extensive menu, which offers both local flavours and Western options, all done very well. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their welcoming smiles and genuine engagement were a sheer delight and will live long in our memories of this stunning property.

For us, this was perfection. The remote, rural location was just what we had hoped for as an idyllic antidote to the hustle and bustle of modern Bali. We relished the peaceful surroundings and simply didn't want to leave, but for those keen to explore beyond the resort, keep in mind that you will need your own car or need to arrange transport. The ever-helpful staff will be able to assist.

El personal es excelente (educadísimos, siempre pendientes de todo) , las habitaciones preciosas (enorme, mobiliario genial, decorada con muchísimo gusto) , el restaurante maravilloso (felicidades al chef!), la zona de la piscina fabulosa (con unas vistas espectaculares y hot tub), una zona en la que cultivan sus propias verduras maravillosa...

Si no tienes tu propio vehículo la zona queda alejada, pero es ideal para desconectar y descansar.

Prachtig kleinschalig resort met een waanzinnig uitzicht! Smaakvol ingerichte accommodaties, het resort heeft een eigen uitgebreide groentetuin. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en super vriendelijk. Wij hadden hier een fantastische tijd!

Pure relaxation, quiet, peaceful and beautiful sunsets. Steam and sauna lovely addition - spa was great to massage was well worth it. Cabins very clean and small touches in each are appreciated. Staff are amazing, always smiling Food was delicious

A haven of peace, full of charm, to discover absolutely in the north of Bali, perched in the mountain, 20 minutes above Lovina. If you are looking for a little freshness in a suspended, intimate place, then this place is for you. The owners, a mixed Indo/English couple, have put their heart into it and have managed to unite the whole village, which supports them in this adventure. Moreover, all the staff are local. Most of them are former cruise employees, who returned to the village during the pandemic and never left. They are therefore all already trained in tourism and many of them speak perfect English. Not far from the establishment, they have, on dozens of ares, their own organic vegetable garden.  You can go there and harvest your own vegetables, and during a cooking class cook them, to finally taste the dishes that you have prepared. Each room is a typical Gladak house, in wood, built with a "modern" style, well decorated. The bedding and pillows are a pure invitation to soft and restful nights. If you like to wake up early, then you will have the chance to see beautiful sunrises, and if you are lucky, like we  were, then you will be facing a beautiful show: complete rainbow going from the mountain until the top of one of the Java volcano, over passing the palm trees. The sunsets are also amazing in this area. The food, cooked by a local chef, is quite good. Thanks to all staff for their absolutely professional and their great welcome.

Umah Lusa is a beautiful, boutique hotel perched on the hillside over looking the sea, lush vegetation and the volcanoes of Java in the distance. The attention to detail in designing the 6 stunning suites is outstanding and we were blown away by it all. The reception room, the dining area, the pool and hot tub, the spa and gardens - all were stunningly put together and maintained.

An absolut hidden gem, perfect surroundings, the staff were excellent and the foods were amazing! Steam and Sauna perfect to have, bike ride around the village must thing to do… Had an amazing stay definitely coming back…
