Overall a good property, food was nice and ambiance is great
Nothing specific but if they have kids play area, this would have been better
Weitläufiger Gebäudekomplex mit zwei schönen Pools, sehr geräumiges Zimmer, wunderschöne Innenhöfe, historische Einrichtung, ansprechender Rezeptionsbereich Großer Hotelshop Abwechslungsreiches, indisches Buffet
Bessere Beleuchtung im Zimmer und Speisesaal
Staff are excellent and very helpful. Genuinely looking for ways to help and make our stay more comfortable. Very grand - well kept gardens and facilities. A little rough around the edges but everything is clean and well maintained. It feels comforting and there’s a nice atmosphere.
Food is good - high quality if a little limited in range. Not a complaint really given you’re there to go on safaris and they arrange everything to coincide with the starts and ends
My whole experience at Nahargarh was phenomenal! The property is stunning, beautiful gardens which surround the site. Everything was magical!
Everything was exceptional! There is nothing which we didn't like.
Beautiful property, but perhaps its size means that not all of it is kept up to the same standards. The room was very nice, large, with a comfortable bed. Great shower. The dining staff were very attentive and one could easily obtain tea, coffee, and bottled water at any time of the day. Best espresso in India so far.
Some of the staff could use a bit more training, but overall no complaints. The dinner meal needs improvement — we really liked the fresh breads, but many of the other dishes were rather lukewarm and could have been fresher. When we wrote to the hotel to obtain help with booking the safaris several months in advance, they said they could not help us. Since then, we have learned that everyone at least in other hotels were able to book via their hotel.
Beautiful heritage hotel with lovely rooms and courtyards. Very helpful dining staff, less so in bar. Worth a vista and very close to Tiger sanctuary.
Would have been nice to have had working air-conditioning, ended up sleeping under fans in room utilising the one unit A?C unit that was working.
Excellent
Property is good,No Room service
One of the most beautiful palaces we have been to during our trip. Authentic and nice service.
Unfortunately the pool was not available (maintenance), and no hot water in the shower. For both, we have not been notified.
Beautiful well maintained property at a 4-5 hour driving distance from Delhi. Peaceful weekend getaway from the noise and pollution of Delhi. Excellent highway connectivity.
Staff is a little loud and raw in comparison to a taj or oberoi property.
Staff was amazing. Food service was really good
Cleaning is not everyday like in other hotels. We were not briefed that we need to give the keys for cleaning. Bathrooms need to be updated.
Feeling like a Maharaja. Wonderful place; probably the best hotel in town. People were so wonderfull. We didn't see tigers at safari.
A really special place to stay for a few nights. We booked very last minute as our original accommodation had some issues, the staff at Nahargarh were so welcoming. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed over a weekend and enjoyed their evening barbecue dinner in the garden. All the food we ate was delicious.
Nothing
Location is very good. Food is good. Staff and service is excellent. Very well maintained Palace theme property. historical architecture and royal decor. good heritage hotel experience!
some basic amenities like TV, Iron, mini bar, exhaust fan in toilet etc. in room were missing but manageable.
We really enjoyed staying at Nahargarh. Good food served by proficient staff.
Spread of food could have been better especially during breakfast. Variety of fruits should be there
Great people and fantastic service … the hotel is spacious and opulent …
The location is a little bit off the main road, and getting local transport is tough … you have to book a vehicle through the hotel or some operator
The hotel was very beautiful every corner is scenic here, the hospital staff were courteous and hospitable. I loved their hospitality and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely love to visit this hotel every time I visit ranthambore.
Everything
The WiFi connectivity
Breathtaking palace hotel! Very big, nice gardens and well maintained buildings. Many amenities to enjoy. The room was huge and traditionally decorated. Good price for an all inclusive stay even with high tea! Very helpful staff, very friendly and professional. Amazing location close to the jungle in a natural environment.
Old shower with no pipe. Quite a lot of insects enter the room (ants, crickets etc) The staff was sometimes a bit too present in the dinning room, always asking if you want more food. Not a lot of non Indian food options for the meals.
Amazing staff and beautiful property
Architecture, grandeur, location, rooms, staff and overall service! Overall great place to experience and a must visit for a palatial experience!
Lacked a few basic things eg. No TV in rooms, limited options for food although all meals were included and were prepared well, no lifts.. having old people can be a concern especially with climbing stairs
I truly think this is the best place my husband and I have ever stayed (and we have travelled a lot!). The hotel is a real-life palace, and is just impeccable. The staff members were all so wonderful and kind, and we felt so welcomed. The grounds were phenomenal - they took our breath away! And the food was absolutely delicious - some of the best curries we have had during our 2 month trip round India. It was also very close to the entrance of Ranthambore National Park (and we were lucky enough to see tigers!). We'd love to return to Nahargarh Ranthambhore in the future - it was 10/10.
Absolutely nothing.
The building, decor and outdoor spaces/plants are so beautiful The staff in the restaurant were INCREDIBLE and gave such fantastic service. They made us feel like honoured guests.
Could be a bit cleaner. No drink or food service around the pool areas. The porters who brought our bags to the room were quite unfriendly when we didn’t give them a tip straight away (someone in our group has a phobia of geckos and found on in their room so was in distress and we got distracted) We hoped to find them and tip them later but when we next saw them they were quite rude to us. They also were the staff who seemed to be doing the housekeeping, and we did not get housekeeping during our stay. Not sure if that is standard or is related to the lack of tip on the first night.
Service was amazing, buildings were beautiful
A really wonderful place to stay - colonial in feel set in beautiful extensive grounds, a lovely courtyard to sit out in, an incredible pool, a fabulous room, amazing bar and staff and good food. They also organised 2 great safaris for us.
Perfect.
Stayed for 2 nights. Nahargarh has amazing hospitality, luxurious and spacious rooms, food etc. Truly a royal experience. Would def visit again!
Such a beautiful hotel, literally a palace. Spacious, well air conditioned room. Amazing swimming pools. Good food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely spa, which I enjoyed a very reasonable massage at.
The grandeur of the property is fantastic. It’s an absolute royal stay at Nahargarh.
Visually stunning. It gives the impression of a maharajah’s palace and Is described as a “village“ rather than a hotel and indeed, as you walk around this extensive area, it is easy to get lost in the fountains and plants and balconies that form this place. It has multiple terraces and many places in which you can sit and contemplate. It is unusual in that it is set in what is effectively wild brush. To get there, there is a bumpy ride down an unmade track before you arrive at the beautiful front gates - not an unpleasant experience. For me, it was another five minute walk to my room.I stayed there to be on the outskirts of the national park and to engage in a Safari. An important aspect for me is that I could psychologically retreat from the commercialism, poverty and chaos behind the massive closed gates.
A limited food experience. Having just visited other luxury hotels in India, I did expect a more traditional delivery of dining. That is not to say I was expecting European food, quite the contrary - Indian dishes make a very nice change but I did expect my evening meal to offer à la carte as a choice . Instead, it was an outdoor buffet which on the plus side was dining under the stars, but gastronomically only comprised relatively few items such as chicken kebab, salad and few dessert options. Alongside the kebab, I was offered breaded fish nuggets which were very tasty but I took be almost an apology for the lack of other items. Breakfast was more traditional served in a dining room but again, there are not many cooked choices other than omelette or Dahl. .
We were in Ranthombore for the safari and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is new but the architecture is of a beautiful palace with ornate details. Great location, only 10-minute drive to the main gate of Ranthombore National Park. Overall facilities and the ground are clean and well maintained, since it's also a venue for weddings. We had a beautiful corner room on the top floor of the tower in the back. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully arranged, filled with sun lights from several windows and a couple doors, and a nice balcony. It's fun to watch the monkeys on the trees across the yard from our room. Food in the restaurant was better than many of the restaurants we've been to in India. Excellent service from all the staff we've encountered during our stay. This is the best place to stay in Ranthombore.
It’s beautiful
It’s a stunning hotel very beautiful
It was a bit tricky to find
Hospitality, facilities, cleanliness and the aesthetic of the palace!
No room service
Location and the aesthetics, it is a palae style complex made by royal family of jaipur ( relatives) and is built in a rajput royalty style, very close to tiger reserve (gate 1- 3) other gates are on other side of the city. Staff is very helpful and rooms are spacious (will give you a different experience from box size rooms) our room was almost 300 sq feet and bathroom was equally spacious. Hot water is available in morning and evening. Hotel manager was very helpful called for doctor immediately as a medical urgent came up. Overall a good stay and one of the best experience in ranthambore. Dinner and breakfast both were tasty and couple of options. Pear season (amrud) was on and had barbeque amrud for first time. Live music (local folk singer) roams in the building giving a touch of time gone by.
None.
The staff is amazing
Excellent buffet breakfast and fabulous service
Nothing
-People and service. They are trying to go extra mile for you. Special thanks to Raj. He saved our safari experience -Location -Hotel exterior and territory -Live music and atmosphere -Equipment is new P.s. My overall rating is still high just because of your kind staff and overall hotel architecture and territory
- Breakfast and food in overall. We could not choose any dish from the buffet. All is Indian local, mostly vegetarian and very spicy. Bakery is very bad. No western food available even taking into account that 50% of tourists are not local. You could choose only eggs and sausages. Only because of special help of restaurant staff who was preparing for us mashed potato, grilled chicken, pancakes etc we have survived. Your staff is extremely well. Special thanks to them. - Value for money is very low because of the food selection. - Loud air con - Hot water schedule. Guys. Remove it. 300 usd per night should cover any electricity costs. Thanks for the staff who was prolonging us hot water availability - Not all the rooms look like on the photos. Not so bad, but not so fancy.
Excellent property and very well-behaved restaurant staff.
Poor wifi connectivity
Excellent service, particularly from the Safari team
A little more diversity of menu
The property in itself is insanely beautiful
Food was average , in fact below average for the full board price that was charged
A huge fort surrounded by trees - inside there are spacious courtyards, large rooms and many facilities to explore
Very little actually - perhaps some less spicy food, but it was available on request
It’s beautiful The staff are excellent very kind and very professional and attentive And it comes naturally to them Will come again
Stunning property with the most welcoming and caring staff. We felt like we were family, with everyone going out of their way to make our holiday spectacular! The palace hotel is surrounded by dense forest and the Aravalis on all sides. Every little corner, the grand courtyards, the rooms, the gardens, the various Mahals- are all done so tastefully, and the attention to detail must be appreciated. The Haathi Kund is definitely the prettiest pool we ever took a dip in! Absolutely love the property! But then, we didn’t expect anything less after our experience at the Alsisar Mahal!
The suite was upgraded to a lavish one. For no cost !!
Food menu was restricted!! But still it was good.
An amazing place! If you come to India without experiencing it you are missing a unique opportunity. Sort of like living out the "West World" movie where historical periods are recreated...
Although the property is quite old but it is well maintained. Experience at swimming pool and walking down the gardens was awesome. Non Veg food was good, but vegetarian food was below average and lacked taste. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Extra bed quality not upto the mark as per pricing. Wi Fi was missing, even in common area it was challege to get connectivity. As there is no television in rooms they should provide hi speed Wi Fi as we wanted to do Netflix.
The hotel has amazing potential and really the property is really beautiful and really looks like a palace, it's a shame that the place is not maintained properly, the food is reasonable and nothing more and the internet doesn't work at all. It's a shame that Safari can't be closed through them and you're on your own. The price was very high compared to India and the value.
Stunning hotel. Looks beautiful and well maintained. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive at meal times. Nice food and good selection.
There is little to do aside from use the swimming pool when in the hotel. I felt it lacked any activities when not away on the safari, which does leave a lot of down time.
Loved the service, the food the ambience. The pool was exquisite!
What a majestic building that had been maintained to the highest standard…amazing
Nothing it was exceptional
The property is only beautiful looking, but from doorman to waiter service are really worse. I called for the security lock it wasn't working but no one came to solve even during the night AC stopped working so we stayed there in warm. And they have anly few items in food buffet Wich isn't very good. We took water bottle after eating in the restaurant as they have no room service....We never expect such an worse in 5star hotel. And yes they've no TV don't forget 😅
Looks and feels as a traditional palace, although newly built Great food, staff and pool is out of this world
No TV
Beautiful property enjoyed our stay very good service
The rooms need to be redone and also the bathrooms otherwise very good
Great place to stay - really appreciated how helpful the staff were in arranging tours and setting up onward transfers. Also loved the pool!
The Place
Food is not at all Worth
This was a very average stay. The hotel has become dated and the access to it makes it quite treacherous. The dining options are limited but the service was truly exceptional. Overall, close to the main attraction of Ranthambore; hard to access; limited dining; aging hotel; but outstanding dining / care service.
Amazing hotel seriously beautiful with great staff. Our room was fabulous on the top floor. Rajveer was very helpful organising canter safaris
All was absolutely fantastic
Wifi…
Very relaxing with excellent facilities and meals. Quiet Very responsive staff
All good, assuming you are there for a safari
Everything about this property is amazing, the staff is super helpful, the food is amazing
Clean
Accessibility and lack of wifi in most of the places

it was a decent spread & everyday new variety -- the dinners were served at different locations which were so beautiful & well presented. Also the person with ektara was playing very well --- it created a very nice ambience other than boiled eggs and sausage i dint see any repeats , the servers were very polite & would feed very nicely --felt like family .
Overall the spices were very very mild for an Indian palette . Maybe since 80% guests seemed foreigners , so the chef did take into account their palette . Though would say it is indeed healthy but adding a little flavour would just make the food top notch
Very Nice
Most unique and amazing property I’ve ever stayed in. Staffing was better than Taj and Leela properties. Second to none
