Good stay, will be back definitely.
Thank you, Azalea! We enjoyed our stay!
They need to do better with cleaning, it’s such a beautiful property but needs cleaning!! The shower heads were dirty and saw some mold up in the ceiling the the bathrooms. The sinks were also pretty gross. Overall tho, staffs are very friendly and amenities are great
Excellent customer service from every department. Amazing atmosphere. Beautiful. clean & spacious room.overall, it’s above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommended.
the place is so nice the crew and the people working there are nice buffet food is very delicious.Good location too
Unfriendly staff
We like the room we booked. Spacious and good for 6 people. The only problem is, is smell like old room or something. But we like the free breakfast and all the staff friendly
A very good accomodation in Baguio with very comfortable bed
Staff were quite courteous but services both at the hotel and Kuya J’s were so slow.
Overall great experience
The exterior of the building is great, however the room that we stayed looks old and needs upgrading. Balcony doors seemed broken and the washroom was not well kept. We expected more but was a bit disappointed.
I would've given 5 star but in the morning of our last day, I slipped in the shower hitting my head on the wall with me ending up with a bump on my head. The shower had slippery floor and when my told the front desk of what happened, they said there should've been a rubber mat but there was none. Going home with a bump on my head but otherwise, the hotel was nice. Just be careful with in the shower and ask for a rubber mat. 😄
Very clean and quiet hotel. Loved staying here on our vacation. My toddler enjoyed their little playground right outside the hotel.
Very comfortable stay good buffet n service is excellent love the place
I booked a 2 bedroom studio for 6 persons for an overnight stay on 12/29/24. Good value for money if you don’t mind dingy accommodations with windows and balcony facing a wall, clogged toilet, no hot water in one of the two bathrooms, and front desk staff telling you that they charge for extra towels because you asked for them on the morning of check out day instead of the night before (huh???). In short, this is not The Manor, the only place in Baguio worth staying in if you want to enjoy the city.
Well furnished, clean accommodation
Friendly staff. Decent restaurant
Excellent
Services was exceptional. Place a little bit run down but the staff were very helpful.
Clean,quiet,comfortable accomodations
Cleanliness
No air conditioning, Baguio is very proud of their cooler temperatures but our room only had one window you could open so the temperature wasn't good for sleeping, they did provide a fan when we asked for one but it was pushing cool air. The hot water didn't work in the bathroom, it had a tankless water heater but maybe it had thrown a breaker or something, because it never warmed up. The safe in the room must of had dead batteries because it didn't function. The breakfast provided was also the worst we had in the Philippines, the food was cold, who likes cold scrambled eggs.We made it 2 days and then found another hotel with air conditioning. It was nonrefundable so we had to eat four days but it was worth it. The Sotogrande Hotel is right next door and it has air conditioning
Had a good stay and the check-in and check-out was very efficient. My friend checked in for us since I parked. By the time I was done, she was already in the room. Same with when I got the car for when we left. My only issue is no elevator from the parking.
Not so good, my expectation was not met. i have a reservation for 2 bedrooms can sleep 6 pax, only have 5 people with me, the living room sofa was already set up for sleeping but no blanket was provided jus a flat sheet which was not communicated during the booking the 2 bedrooms has no flat sheet just the comforter. We have to pay extra to get a blanket for the living room. The refrigerator has to be replaced because its not working. The kitchen comes with the reservation plates and cooking utensils but they don’t provide dish soap and sponge, need additional payment for it. They don't have a laundry area contradicting the amenities it offers on hotels.com. The shower has no water heater, it was fixed twice, after the 2nd time it was fixed i used the shower, in the middle of my shower the warm heater turn off, i have to finish up with cold shower. The ceiling fan turned off during the night, its not switching back on after many attempts. On our check out i reported about the water heater and the fan at the front desk. She asked me if i reported it when it happened, i was annoyed because, she was not apologetic regarding it, she made me feel like its my fault for not reporting it immediately for it to be fix. I responded that we are checking out today, I am telling you now so that it will be fix before booking someone. A note greeted us on the countertop, the last paragraph states”please refer to the Guest Compendium in your suite” folder was empty, no one knows what it is.
The room is okay but the toilet is not.. the sink is clogged
Great property..different room options to accommodate a bigger family. The place is kinda hard to find as there is not enough signs, and you can't see the hotel from the street (had to go thru a narrow st leading up to the hotel). Staffs are all very nice and attentive. Buffet breakfast is 5 star!!!👍
The property is on a hill and a short distance to the main road to access public transportation. The Hotel is clean in the lobby area but in the dinning area a noticed a dead fly on the window panes. The buffet breakfast is not so good. Bread is soggy at the bottom which seems to be stored in the refrigerator and heat. Cereal and muffin are stale. No air-conditioning so we have to open the windows and sliding door but it allows motorcycles exhaust, noise from people talking loudly, cigarette smoke and grill smoke all enter our room during the day and night. We checked out two days before we were suppose to and checked in the new airconditioned hotel next to it.
Hotel’s neighbourhood is perfect for relaxation. Room’s amenities are quite dated such as bathroom. Really enjoyed breakfast buffet at Kuya J’s. Staff are very friendly and courteous.
The skyline view room is has a nice view. The amenities inside the room was great. The staff and servers in the resto. were very friendly and polite. They are very helpful esp. if you have a disability. The cons - not convenient to shop or eat elsewhere. Generally, we would come back to this hotel.
Awesome stay! Thanks .🇨🇦
Centrally located hotel. Buffet breakfast is a plus. Staff are helpful and provides great service. Room cleanliness can be improved.
Location is good
Very cozy and clean room. The staff also were helpful. We loved the breakfast at kuya J. Thank you azalea.
Not clean and no windows to breath on 6th floor
When I arrived at Azalea, they could not find my reservation through Orbitz. Then after 20 minutes, they found my reservation, but informed me that my room was given to someone. They pretended to give me an upgrade room, but it was really not. The room was really noisy at night from the fuctions downstairs, and the room was not noise proof. In the morning, my bed was very bright from the morning sun even with the curtains.
ambiance room we love the breakfast
It was near the city
very nice place just some observations, a little far from downtown, wifi needed to be logged in very often and the flush of the toilet is not that efficient hence a waste of water
The room was not in the best condition. The bathroom made my room quite smelly, and it was really humid in the room.
The room is not so much organized and clean ... more wide opening for view of the room I feel like I'm in the cage
Staff are friendly
The staff are superb in terms of customer service. Our car broke down & everyone was solicitous. Special mention to Noni who went out of his way to call the auto repair service & assisted us until he made sure our car was okay.
What is good about the property is you can cookyour own food.It You feel at home.
Good : Convenient location, good service. Bad: They charged me for a Snickers that was not in the ref when we got there
Construction was going on, which was very noisy!!!! Room has no aircon so it gets very warm. I think the management assumes that there is no need for aircon in Baguio. But Baguio’s climate has changed! We really thought it is necessary to have alternative by installing aircon unit to their rooms. Bathroom was a little dirty. Food was great though! Staff were nice.
Comfortable to stay for travellers. Worth the price!
accessibility
It’s location is very good. The online booking delayed the checking in
Staffs are polite, brkfast is excellent
Properties, None
This is a great place to stay in Baguio - professional staff, great location.
Booked it online on the day itself and should be guarrantted. Upon checkin they did gave away the room we booked. We were transfered to a nearby place
The staff were totally incompetent no idea from management how to run a hotel staff were running around like headless chickens large queues at breakfast had 1 coffee in 5 days due to not wishing to wait for 30 minutes in queues but paid for 5 days breakfast definitely not for 5 star travellers would be totally frustrated with this hotel well below standards perhaps only for locals definitely not for international travelers very poor customer service and amenities
The only two positives: very nice staff and large rooms for a reasonable price. Downsides: 1. Paper-thin walls. Good luck going to bed early. You will hear everything inside and outside of the hotel. 2. Old rusty/dirty bathrooms. 3. Staff doesn't clean bathrooms daily. 4. Plates and cups in room were filthy.
Facilities and amenities are good.
Water in the shower was too weak. Took me longer to take shower. Check-out process too long and time-consuming.
After payment reservations, I was sent a confirmation with different booking dates.
Need to change towels. Sound insulation is poor. Bedroom is crowded. Should improve breakfast food.. Orherwie personnels are very courteous and helpful.
The utensils are all dirty including the plates. The view from veranda is not pleasing
The 2 bedroom unit is not cleaned well. Floor and bathrooms not cleaned propel
The room that we was assigned to me was directly on top of the kitchen and there was an ongoing construction so I was unable to open the window for proper ventillation.
I hate checking in to this hotel, they give me extra person charge even for visitors.
We have a great time with a great service all together , surely we strongly recommend this to all my friends and family .
Excellent location with clean rooms and hall ways. Efficient and friendly staff.
Overall experience was ok. Cleanliness of the toliet/bathroom needs improvement, I would not recommend the food at the hotel.
Hall fan was slow and hot water ceased in one toilet just before check out.
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff a little more choice for breakfast buffet would have been nice
Hotel was new and clean, Staff were courteous and smiling, but not very flexible with pricing and charges, food were pretty much cheap, its the room that is pricey even with a big discount, the city ihas nice climate but there is no window fan to letcool air in, they have ceiling fan but only circulate the air inside. Its hot if you are used to cool climate.
Azalea hotel is a really good place to stay when you are in baguio. Cleanliness, good service, nice facilities. Everything is in perfection. Even the food, it is sumptuous. If given the chance to have a vacation in Baguio city, I will choose Azalea. I will also recommend this to my friends.
What
been trying to cancel the reservation 2 weeks before check in date but no response from the management.
Excellent stay, fast service, friendly, great breakfast. Awesome weekend stay
This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel in the past four years. The first year I stayed two times then again 6 months later... everything still good. They were trying. They handed us the evaluation papers constantly and the place was really kept up nicely. The staff in the kitchen was top notch and the food was fantastic. Well that was three years ago. I recently stayed there for my fourth time and it was very different. The hotel staff wasn't as friendly and helpful and the place had gotten a bit run down. I was not very satisfied with the restaurant and it's employees were not trained well. of course the first time I stayed there I was totally happy and satisfied but over time the staff had changed and they seem not to care anymore. Next time I go to Baguio I will try a different hotel.
Your annex restaurant is not complete on the table still have to ask the staff (e.g. Sugar creamer
very nice hotel the staff was super friendly very quick check in and the breakfast buffet was awesome. I would definitely stay again
It is a lovely hotel to begin with and the staff are helpful and nice. breakfast is very good and has variety of choices. WIFI is good also :) only downside is that mobile signal is poor. no service for globe/sun/smart in the rooms. you need to go to the lobby for a signal. but overall, its worth staying.
Azalea Hotel's facade is beautiful. When we checked in we were attended by a guy who is quite stern looking and doesnt have that welcoming smile. Ask for a deposit for 3k that should have been only 2k. We stayed in 2 rooms and quite warm inside so we had to ask for an electric fan because the ceiling fan was turning very low. CRs not well cleaned, esp the floor tiles. Suggest to use clorux to whiten them. We were given very old worn out towels. Staff though was friendly. Food breakfast buffet is of average, no newspapers to read and some flies around so we had to ask for candles on our table to drive them out.
Good hotel. Nice everything. Good free breakfast Good location
Excellent! It’s a great vacation. Meeti new people in different walks of life.
Stayed in the hotel and there was no electricity/ brown out that day but apparently this hotel has no generators to make their guests comfortable with their stay- no wifi, no TV, no cable and no fan. Has inconsiderate staffs - refused to offer any compensation for the terrible stay/ experience. Very obvious that this hotel is greedy and is only interested with money/ profit rather than making their guests comfortable and feel valued or special. We spend a lot of money for the stay but this hotel is not interested in developing nor maintaining a loyal customer base. Will not go back to this hotel again. Definitely not a happy customer !
The room doesn't have any room. So suffocating...
spend 3 days 2nights, place was extra special due to goid service and very fine food selection. Breakfast is not to miss.
Great staff. Highly recommended. Free buffet and its was great. Thank you
information from front desk inquired through the phone and in camera are not consistent. the one who helped bring my luggage down the lobby is not attentive. he just showed up and did not help load a few of my bags onto the luggage cart room is too hot. i cant imagine staying at this hotel during summer
Accommodating staff, sticks to rules & regulations
Not being a VIP but the moment I step inside the hotel I never heard a greetings even at the reception when I was checking in the lady directly asked me to fill out the checkin form without greetings. The next day during breakfast, I feel like invisible. The lady infront of the restaurant where buffet breakfast is being served greet all the people BEHIND me. Maybe because I am solo? I do not know. I already seated on one of the vacant sets for breakfast but the staff asked me to move to other table. Huh! Anyways..i love the room, the cleanliness of the room. The food in the breakfast. Except the staff!
The room where we were assigned in was so spacious makes an impression that something is missing. I don't feel at home nor had a good sleep contrary to my daughter who claimed to have slept so well as she was staying in the bedroom while I and my husband slept at the sofa bed.
Visually the hotel looks great and the breakfast buffet was very good but that is where it ended. There is no AC in the rooms. The balcony doors would not lock. The television stations are poor. The bathroom was in poor shape. The shower door was on rusted wheels and it was difficult to slide the door. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. The shower water pressure was so low, I had to stand close to the shower head. You had to leave a cash deposit on your room of 2000php. They don't allow credit card holds for this. The furniture in the lobby is badly soiled and on some chairs the seams were starting to rip. Internet is painfully slow and almost useless. There is no pool or workout equipment. There was a power outage during breakfast. Although we were on a backup generator for the whole day, there was no television service at all. We left around noon and spent the day sightseeing and shopping. We get back to the room around 4 to find a letter from management saying there was a scheduled electrical system upgrade and we would be on backup power from 9am to 5pm. This letter would have been more useful if sent the day before. The people were all nice but the hotel is poorly run and when you look close, poorly maintained.
Nice hotel except that the beddings have a foul smell that I called the attention of the housekeeping staff, but they change the beddings and pillow cases asap! Very good except for the smell of the beddings!
Staff 8/10 - This is what I liked most from this hotel. Most (not all) staff from the front desk, housekeeping, and dining are very courteous and attentive and always smiled and greeted. Only, sometimes they talk loudly in the hallways. Cleanliness 2/10 - The hallways, the room, and even the linens do not smell fresh, but most of all, the shower room had MOULDY walls, and there was mould coming out from underneath the shower door when you open/close! The cleaning standard is obviously not that high. Amenities 4/10 - though they are generous in replenishing, the amenities are very limited. You will need to pay a hundred pesos for use of a bathrobe which I didn't end up using because it was so old and very scratchy! You will also need to pay an extra thirty pesos for a disposable shower cap. Towels look like they have not been changed for the past 10 years. WIFI is horrible. There is a wide array in the buffet breakfast, though cooking is fair (not great). The place has no fitness center. There is also no desk. You will end up using the bar stool and dining table for working on a laptop if you needed to. Location 8/10 - area is peaceful and accessible. There are bars and restaurants around the place. Teacher's camp is close if you wanted to go for a run, unless it is raining which happens almost everyday in Baguio. There are a lot of taxis (and jeepneys) passing by the main road which is a minute-walk away. Overall, I don't understand how the place was rated 4 star.
Hotel needs a lot of improvements. The hotel only have 1 onsite restaurant with limited chairs. The food and services are great but the chairs are filthy. Check in and check out is the worse! I'm eligible for early check in. I understand that it depends on room availability. But the hotel was not even full and they have plenty of vacant rooms but they still didn't let us check in. Check out is the worst, it took me almost 30 minutes. When I asked for receipts, they're not even ready. Very inefficient!
Great staff that are super polite and are very attentive. Buffet breakfast is so good.
Room is spacious. Breakfast was good and they always replenish. Parking space is not a problem.
We booked a 2 bedroom unit and we were all surprised by how big it was. Clean, very spacious living room and master bedroom, has 3 beds and a balcony. The staff are very friendly. Great location. We travelled by car from Manila and it is only about 10 minutes drive to tourist spots like Session Road, The Mansion, Mines View and Camp John hay.
The hotel was nice but wish the room cleaning service was better. I had to get our own new set of towels and others. Not enough cleaning help on a peak busy season. Other than that, it was a great stay...restaurant was excellent with many choices of food .....so good we had all our meals there for the two days.
I'm not satisfied on the room they gave me, there's no phone signal while inside the room
To avoid getting lost and the agony of driving, we just took taxis wherever we went. Seen lots of places and taxi fare is very reasonable. Very convenient.
The room was worth more than its price. We had a good stay, but the advertised "high speed internet" was not true. The WiFi internet was slow as a turtle. Other guests were too noisy, talking on the aisle. But that was not the problem of the hotel, I guess, there are just some people who are so inconsiderate.
All staff were very friendly and professional. Excellent services. I will recomment this hotel to all of my friend and family.
It was a wonderful experience - spacious rooms and kitchenette is very convinient.
