There was no socket near the bed as my hubby uses a cpap machine for his sleep, so that was a total inconvenience.

Kelengkapan asas bilik air adalah terhad dan tidak mencukupi sepanjang penginapan. Snek percuma dan air mineral botol juga tidak disediakan; tetamu perlu membayarnya sendiri. Sarapan pagi adalah biasa sahaja dengan pilihan menu yang terhad. Tilam katil kelamin terlalu keras sehingga menyebabkan ketidakselesaan untuk tidur. Saluran TV pula tidak berfungsi dengan baik dan perlu diimbas semula (auto-scan) setiap kali TV dihidupkan. Terdapat bau yang kuat di dalam bilik air, kemungkinan disebabkan oleh pengudaraan yang tidak mencukupi. Kadar harga bilik agak mahal, terutamanya semasa musim cuti umum. Secara keseluruhan, berdasarkan harga yang dibayar dan masalah yang dihadapi, penginapan ini tidak memenuhi jangkaan. Malangnya, saya tidak akan mengesyorkan tempat penginapan ini."

My honest review: The room did not match the photos and description advertised online. It was noticeably smaller than expected. Basic toiletries were limited and insufficient for the stay. Complimentary snacks and bottled water were not provided; guests had to pay for them. The breakfast was average, with limited variety and selection. The mattress on the double bed was too firm, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The TV channels were not functioning properly and required an auto-scan every time the TV was turned on. There was a strong odor in the bathroom, likely due to the lack of proper ventilation. The room rates were quite expensive, especially during public holiday periods. Overall: Considering the price paid and the issues encountered, the stay did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property.

Got the Deluxe Double Room. The bed was definitely not queen size. Probably a super single. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. I strongly believe that the advertising was misleading. The room and bed was different from the pictures online. Pictures was like 4 stars hotel but reality was disappointing. Did not fit a 3 stars hotel criteria. Do not judge the hotel based on pictures online. Always look at price level and match your expectations accordingly.

Reviewed May 5, 2026I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Hallmark. The staff were friendly and helpful. As a cycle tourist traveling around beautiful Malaysia who doesn't ask for much, I left the hotel very impressed. I would recommend it. The breakfast was good, and there are plenty of food options available nearby
There is nothing to dislike about the Grand Hallmark, but while it is not located centrally to JB, I don't think that that is necessary a bad thing.

第一房间窗口坏了不能关大路旁车吵闹很吵， 第二房子隔音很烂一点小声都能听见很吵 第三毛巾跟床布很旧很旧 第四经常住酒店包含早餐没被问过孩子需要付费这次第一次必须付Rm15，再说我们订酒店都是按照2大1小来订房间.小朋友6岁而已还是喝奶,能吃多少一早起床.
