It was nice and quiet and ok for one nights stay.

The location was great.

It was very noisy at night with the backpackers behind us. There was confusion with the ‘free’ breakfast as part of the room deal, you can order a big breakfast but you have to pay for your coffee. Or. you can order eggs on toast (or cereal) and then you can get a coffee.

Super locatie ! Heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Dicht bij alle faciliteiten restaurants en winkels en natuurlijk het meer.

De Kamer / badkamer had wel iets schoner gekund

The location was great. Didn't see any staff as we arrived late. The heater was on when we arrived which was nice.

Bathroom trimming in need of attention. The shower head can't be adjusted. Im shorter and my husband is taller so all I got was water to the face

Amazing views. Complimentary breakfast is next door in the bakery. Great breakfast.

Salle de bain d'hôpital qui n’est pas au niveau de la chambre ! On avait le petit déjeuner de compris mais il faut aller au restaurant d'à côté et payer ses boissons... il aurait été plus correct de prévenir les clients avant la réservation !

For a one-night stay it suited our requirements. Beautiful location and view, we were lucky to have a 2-bed upstairs right at the front end of the property.

It is very tired and could do with a refresh and it was pricey but I think that's all down to the location.

I love the heater on the beds, it makes me feel warm.

There is no kitchen microwave oven etc, not even the public place.

6人だとトイレ・バスが一つでちょっとぎりぎり。トイレもう一つあると助かります。

Location is great. Easy walk to the lake with some views from the motel (outside). 2 minute walk to the grocery store and main street for restaurants etc. Linen was clean and beds were comfortable. Was ok for one night stay.

Poor value for money. The motel rooms are very dated. Kitchen items needed a clean before use. Kitchen sponge was old and used. We used the tea towel to wash dishes as it had been laundered. Shower curtain needs replacing - ?mould or old water marks on the bottom.

Had bought the breakfast as part of the deal but that element was not worth it.

The location is amazing and the rooms old but clean

The woman at reception was rude. A young man greeted us and he was very pleasant. However, even though we arrived before they closed, they had already taken our payment, which as far as I knew was supposed to be taken out on arrival, and we had wanted to split it with my father so he could pay for his room and I would pay for ours. The young man said he would go and find his manager to work out a solution. She came out and informed me that they would take my father’s payment today but I would not be refunded what I had payed for it until Monday. She then amended that to say that because it was an international payment it would take 7 to 10 days to refund. I was not particularly happy with this and asked why they had taken their payment prior to my arrival. She then got quite rude and kept saying that she had the right to do so and that it was not like our other accommodation as it was not open 24 hours. However, as we were well within checkin time I am unsure as to what that was relevant. A simple apology would’ve been appropriate at this stage but she was far from apologetic. Tekapo is beautiful and the accommodation fine but I will not be staying here next time I come. Nor will my friends.

町の中心のDark Star Projectのすぐ近くで、レストランも近く非常に便利な立地条件であった。

予約したのが直前であったため、このホテルになったのであるが、2人にとっては部屋が広すぎてコスパが悪かった。次の日が祝日で通常朝食に使っているレストランが閉まっており、朝食を部屋に9：00に届けるといわれたが、その時間がツアーの直前でやきもきして待つしかなかった。

It's very central, just across from the Dark Sky Project where the bus stops. It's a 10-minute walk to the famous Church of the Good Shepherd. I was upgraded to a second-floor lake-facing room, and it has an excellent view.You can leave your luggage there if you come early or after checkout with no issues.

Excellent view. Not big rooms, but perfect for a couple of days. Staff were lovely.

Loved the location, the veiw was breathtaking, the room was a little dated but so comfortable and warm, the beds were just so comfortable had a great night sleep.

Noisy. The people upstairs sounded like they were about to come through the ceiling at any point. They obviously were going on a stargazing trip and didn’t realize other pry were trying to sleep🤫

Love the location, we were able to just walk over the the church for sunrise and straight into town for the shops. Not a lot of options for the breakfast, but it was nice.

We weren't able to use the bathroom heater, so the bathroom was very cold and the shower needs some fixing as it was leaking out the wall and even with the shower curtain closed the floor still got very wet due to the leak.

Very clean property. Comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Had a wonderful conversation with the young man in reception.

The restaurant for which we received a voucher for breakfast was sketchy. Although easily accessible from our room, there was definitely a language barrier as the employees were all Chinese and only one or two spoke adequate English. We were surprised to have to purchase our beverage for breakfast, as well. In addition, my husband observed one of the ladies from the kitchen remove a used plate from the table, pick up something from the plate, remove part of it into the trash, and put the other piece somewhere behind the wall in the area where they prepared our food. A bit off putting.

This motel is right in the central business area of Tekapo village so within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants, the old church and the Dark Sky excursion meeting point as well as the lakefront walkway. I was given a free upgrade to a a larger unit and stayed in unit #1, the front 2-bedroom unit upstairs, which had a small balcony facing towards the lake - stunning view. The kitchen had all the facilities I needed and a good supply of cutlery and crockery. The shower was hot and there was good heating.

The shower had a triangle base and was smaller than I'm used to. The decor is pretty tired (but in ok condition). It would have been nice to have a sofa in the lounge and a side table for the chair (I shifted one in from the bedroom). The laundromat is next door and requires payment.

- really liked how close the motel was to the lake (and everything else) - complimentary breakfast was a good add-on - the warmth in the room was great (electric blanket/heater)

- the shower was a little tight and not very practical

Vlakbij en mooi uitzicht over het meer. Bedden waren prima.

In verhouding veel geld voor een kleine kamer met weinig faciliteiten. Ontbijt kon via een voucher in zaakje vlakbij maar was karig.

Comfy bed. Motel rght in the centre of town, close to supermarket and eateries.Breakfast included in booking was at Cafe right beside motel. Fantastic view of lake in our upstairs room and nice to have balcony too.

Bathroom needs attention. Very rough and my husband thought they got small children in to paint it at some stage. Even paint on the metal toilet roll holder, lol. Shower good pressure but water goes out the door when you turn it on and cannot be pointed anywhere else. Bit cramped as well in shower.
