Beautiful views, nice rooms.

Breakfast options were disappointing in quality and very limited, I expected more from this hotel. The beach isn't really pretty and the water was a bit dirty on the day of our stay.

Panorama fantastico davanti al castello aragonese.lo staff è molto gentile e professionale.La struttura è dotata di ristorante e di spiaggia privata e piscina.Un plauso ad Angelo e famiglia per il servizio di taxi boat .oltre al servizio in sé sono persone meravigliose.

La colazione è migliorabile.nonostante il panorama sia mozzafiato la strada per raggiungere la struttura è tortuosa

Ruhige, gepflegte Anlage, sehr sauber. Restaurant mit gutem Essen und netten Personal vorhanden.

Hotel ist nur mit einem Taxiboot erreichbar, welches aber bis 24 Uhr verfügbar ist. Trotzdem ist es sehr abgeschieden. Wir hatten 128 Stufen bis zum Zimmer. Nichts für Gäste mit eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit. Rezeption nur bis 19 Uhr besetzt.Ein bisschen mehr Freundlichkeit wäre gut. Kompetente Hilfe war gegeben.

Die Unterkunft ist eher etwas für Reinhold Messner, denn man muss unendlich viele Stufen hochgehen, welches für ältere Personen nicht machbar ist. Ansonsten ist es eine ruhige Lage und die Küche ist sehr gut.

Struttura ben funzionante e personale gentilissimo, anche il ristorante era ottimo. Le camere erano molto pulite (seppure un po' datate nell'arredamento) e tranquille. Il servizio di taxi boat funziona alla perfezione e facilita tantissimo sia l'arrivo che la partenza (volendo le scale per raggiungere la struttura non sono nemmeno così tante/ripide). In generale una bellissima esperienza!

Unico grande neo il WiFi, sia quello dell'hotel che del ristorante, che non prendeva praticamente da nessuna parte.

Un emplacement et une vue exceptionnelle, les déplacements avec le taxi boat . Petite structure de 15 chambres, très reposant. Si vous cherchez les animations ? C'est pas là ! Le restaurant DaMaria avec la vue sur la baie de Naples, des plats excellents.

La vista è spettacolare e lo staff davvero accogliente

La colazione è di bassa qualità. Non ci sono prodotti locali come il cornetto ischitano ma solo cornetti surgelati e torte di bassa qualità. Per non parlare del salato.. La spiaggia ha lettini attaccati l’uno all’altro, quasi non si respira. Inoltre quelli nelle prime file solo riservati a persone esterne alla struttura.

La situation isolée qui donne beaucoup de charme. La plage privée. Les vues magnifiques. Le personnel de la plage.

Les horaires qui donnent beaucoup de contraintes (la réception entre 9h et 19h, le petit déjeuner jusqu’à 9h30, le taxi boat jusqu’à 00h, le restaurant jusqu’a 21h30). L’absence d’espace bar ou restauration sur la terrasse de l’hôtel. L’ameublement des chambres. L’eau n’est pas vraiment potable et l’hôtel ne fournit pas de bouteilles gratuitement, c’est une vraie préoccupation d’être sur d’avoir de l’eau dans cet endroit isolé. Endroit pas fait pour les enfants.

The view

Everything, but the view from our room was the cherry on the top. The beach, the pool, were very clean and very well organized, so you have everything what you need for an amazing holiday. I loved the taxi boat and of course it was also very useful. A big thank you goes to Nello from the restaurant who was always incredibly kind and professional, but also to Alessandra and Dorotea. We definitely will return. Grazie❤️

Struttura ben organizzata in tutto ed era molto vicina al mare con una vista mozzafiato.Ed inoltre l uso della piscina ed il mare compreso nel servizio di soggiorno. Da ritornare assolutamente

Non ci sono stati spiacevoli inconvenienti

Bella vista del castello Aragonese con le barche attorno che rappresentavano uno splendido panorama dalla terrazza del hotel. La gentilezza della Signora della sala colazione, sempre con un sorriso accogliente, dei camerieri del ristorante, in particolare del Sig. Nello. Ben organizzato il servizio taxi boat, per quanto fosse scomodo come accesso al hotel, aveva una precisa organizzazione.

Il letto e il materasso estremamente scomodi. Il letto, in particolare, faceva dei rumori pazzeschi non appena ti giravi dall’altra parte; L’aria condizionata troppo rumorosa durante la notte; La luce nell’anticamera funzionava solo spingendo l’interruttore almeno 4-5 volte;( L’accesso al hotel tramite taxi boat, che bisognava prenderlo non appena volevi uscire in città. C’era un altro accesso, via terra, con gli scalini troppo ripidi e, se non sei allenato, non erano facile da farle. La spiaggia piccola e sporca, con lettini attaccati l’uno all’altro… Diciamo che se non siano stati questi inconvenienti, il soggiorno sarebbe stato più piacevole…

Hotel Da Maria to wyjątkowe miejsce z niepowtarzalnym klimatem. Położenie nad samym morzem, z widokiem na Zamek Aragoński, jest po prostu zachwycające. Ogromnym atutem jest prywatna plaża, basen z wodą termalną oraz możliwość dopłynięcia do hotelu motorówką, co już samo w sobie jest świetną atrakcją. Na przystani czeka pracownik hotelu, który pomaga z bagażami, dzięki czemu od pierwszej chwili można poczuć doskonałą organizację i prawdziwą włoską gościnność. Personel jest niezwykle serdeczny i pomocny, a atmosfera sprawia, że człowiek czuje się tu jak w domu. Śniadania są bardzo urozmaicone – oprócz bogatego bufetu można zamówić świeżo przygotowane jajka w dowolnej postaci. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje również restauracja położona tuż nad samym morzem. Przemiła obsługa, piękne widoki i absolutnie wszystko, czego spróbowaliśmy, było przepyszne. Kolacja przy szumie fal to doświadczenie, które na długo zostaje w pamięci. Największym skarbem tego hotelu są jednak widoki. Z balkonu i tarasu godzinami można obserwować morze, przepływające żaglówki i łódki. To lepsze niż niejeden film – działa kojąco, uspokaja i sprawia, że naprawdę można zapomnieć o codzienności. Do hotelu prowadzi sporo schodów, ale dla takich widoków, atmosfery i gościnności zdecydowanie warto. To miejsce, do którego z przyjemnością się wraca.

I loved the fact that the tiny hotel was built into the cliff face and the best way to reach it was by water taxi. You arrive by water taxi, five minute ride, from Ischia Ponte and step out onto the hotel pontoon right onto the hotel's beach. (There is an alternative route that goes by road, but then there is quite a long steep hill to reach the hotel.) The small private beach has very dark sand (it is volcanic). The sand was not as black as Torre Del Greco near Naples, where we had just been staying at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. I loved the decor in the hotel, pretty blue and white tiles, and very fresh. We were served welcome drinks, (very welcome since it was so hot!), before being shown our rooms, one with a sea view and one without. Both rooms were quite small but lovely. The bathrooms looked gorgeous. I couldn't help taking photos of everything, all so pretty! The views are spectacular at the hotel. Whether you book a seaview room (with balcony) or not, the moment you step outside, the views out onto the sea are incredible. Since the hotel is not in the main tourist area, it is far less busy and (to my mind) much nicer.   There is a gorgeous terrace where you can sit out, eat, drink or just chill - watching the sea. There is also a sweet little pool with umbrellas and deck chairs on which to laze. In fact, very few people seem to use the pool, it felt like having my very own private pool! It is possible to order food and drinks in the hotel and have them poolside or the terrace. The hotel restaurant serves good if not spectacular food and is a stone's throw from the sea. I recommend the gnocchi and the octupus dishes, very good! I would love to visit again if I could. I would recommend room 28 as that has the best view of the sea.

There is nothing I did not like. But I will warn that there are alot of steps (it is built into a cliff, after all) so be prepared! You will be rewarded with the most beautiful views.

Perfekt organisierter Transfer, außerordentlich zuvorkommendes Personal, sensationelle Lage mit Blick auf die Festung Aragonsese. Aber am allerbesten war das hervorragende Restaurant mit bester italienienischer Küche, das seinesgleichen sucht. Auch hier perfekter und hingebungsvoller Service.

Bedingt durch die Hanglage konnte die nächste Straße leider nur durch Bewältigung eines steilen Anstiegs erreicht werden. Wir wussten das aber bereits bei der Buchung und nahmen das Fitnessprogramm tapfer in Kauf

It’s situated in a great location, and easily reachable by water taxi. The views from the large outdoor terrace/solarium were fantastic and it was a great place to relax. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, they arranged our transfers from and to the ferry on both arrival and departure. They also gave us information regarding the island. We were in walking distance of the town. Our room was clean and comfy. We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely and the waiters were friendly and helpful, keeping our glasses topped up and giving recommendations from the menu. We all 4 enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Hotel antiguo, le falta mantenimiento pero es limpio

Tündéri eldugott ki szállás. Tökéletes elvonulásra. Kis csónakkal a legkönnyebben megközelíthető. A szállásnak saját vízparti része van, ami májusban csak a miénk volt. Nagyon kedves a személyzet minden tagja. Szívből ajánlom egy jó elvonulós hosszú hétvégére.

Die traumhafte Lage, der ursprüngliche italienische Charme, kleine, aber gemütliche Zimmer und ein nettes uriges Lokal direkt am Meer , das tolles einheimisches Essen bietet … für uns war es perfekt … ein kleine Inselparadies! Die An-& Abfahrt mit dem Taxi Boot ist etwas Besonderes und rundet das Ganze ab.

The hotel is beautifully located in a bay surrounded by cliffs, offering stunning views of the castle. One of its greatest strenghts is the staff, who are very helpful and friendly both in the hotel snd in the restaurant.

Breakfast was fantastic and the private beach and swimming pool with thermal water made it a perfect place to unwind after sightseeing Ischia. Our room had a balcony with the view of the castle rock. The personnel was super helpful and spoke perfect English, which is rare in Italy.

The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey especially considering the portion size, but the views are stunning. It was also not close to the best rabbit we had in the island.

Bed was hard, the furniture in the room is extremely noisy as the room above us made all kinds of noise. The man at the front desk was very rude even for a typical local. We had to remove the sheets to remove sand like particles from the sheets.

We (myself and my 64 year old mom) stayed here at the end of June, and everything was wonderful. The service was excellent, the room was clean and nice, and dinner was delicious (and they always encouraged us to eat more). I have no complaints as to the noise- it felt almost like we were alone in our part of the building. We enjoyed the beach very much, and we appreciate all the help from the front desk.

The getting there is the challenge but once you accept that that’s the $$$ you pay to have a secluded location it’s ok There are no lifts so be prepared to hike up stairs to and from your outings, restaurant, etc Consider it part of your daily workout to justify the pasta and gelato

personel gayet iyi ve ilgili.kahvaltı çok iyi.ancak tesisin yapılışı tamamen denize dik kayalar üzerinde. her gün yüzlerce merdiven basamakları çıkmak zorundasınız bu hiç de sanıldığı gibi kolay değil . otele ulaşmak da çok zor.belirli bir bölgeden sonra taxi bot ( bir kayık )kullanmak mecburiyeti var. ancak çok sağlıklı ve genç kişilerin kullanabileceği bir otel. yüz den fazla merdiven basamağını devamlı inip çıkmak gerekiyor bu yedi katlı bir apartman binasının yedinci katına devamlı yürüyerek inip çıkmak demek bu kolay değil.dünyanın birçok yerinde bunun gibi bir çok tesiste kaldım ve hepsinde denize asansor ile inip çıkılır.

La vista desde el hotel es espectacular, ubicación privilegiada aunque haya un poco mas de logística para llegar.

La recepcionista fue muy rude y mala gente con nosotros basicamente desde que llegamos ( todo el resto del personal muy muy amable y preocupados de que tengamos una buena estancia) , podrian mejorar la comodidad de las camas y las almohadas.

Nice family run hotel with friendly staff in an amazing position with incredible views. Our week's holiday started with thunderstorms during our trip from Naples but cleared up in time for the taxi boat to the hotel. Unfortunately, due to the time we arrived, the number 7 bus didn't go all the way to the castle and we missed the stop so a walk with our bags on narrow uneven pavements. Unfortunately read OLD post re getting taxi boat from jetty next to Hotel Antoinette - this is no longer the "approved" cheaper taxi - a quick call to the hotel put us right and correct taxi from nearer the castle - friendly and 3.5 euros each. Hotel lifeguard carried bags from jetty to hotel. We booked the Junior suite - which is best room in the hotel - great Jacuzzi and shower and balcony has views over the castle and Vesuvius (in the distance) with most amazing sunrises and sunsets. We were also lucky to see several firework displays, including one from the hotel jetty. We ate in the restaurant first and last nights - great quality food very tasty - had both a primo and secondo courses first night but only do this if very hungry! Breakfasts included amazing pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, juices etc and very friendly staff provided teas and coffees. First couple of days we walked in to near the castle - yes quite a few steps up but took us about 25 minutes to walk to the castle. Castle definitely worth a visit. We missed the lift so walked all the way up - fascinating and nice bar at top for a drink. Found some good restaurants near the castle . Bought 3 day bus tickets from a tabacci (week tickets seem only to be sold from the bus station at the port) and went around the island. Tried catching 12 or 13 bus from the cemetery at top of hill to port then other buses from there - most buses got very busy (first week in September) . We loved excellent beaches at Di Moronti and Spiaggia di Citara Used the beach loungers each day and enjoyed swimming and snorkelling from beach (sometimes before breakfast) - reasonable snorkelling near rocks and could see thermal springs under water. The thermal pools near the beach are now just muddy pools! Beach area can get quite crowded Overall had an excellent week and will miss the amazing views.

È stata un’esperienza bellissima. Lo staff super gentile e disponibile, in particolare Alessandra alla reception. Ci hanno aiutati con taxiboat e per la prenotazione di uno scooter. La location molto bella, spiaggia con vista e piscina e altri spazi molto rilassanti. Consigliatissima!

Thr view of the Argonese Castle from our room and balcony, the swimming pool and the terrace. The smorgasbord breakfast was good.

The hotel was difficult to access and had to be reached by boat. The black sand beach was small and area around the hotel was not well maintained. The paving steps up the hillside to the hotel were slippery and dirty.

La struttura è situata sul mare e la camera aveva una vista eccezionale sul castello Aragonese. Colazione buona.

La spiaggia dell'albergo è veramente piccola. L'albergo è dislocato dal centro quindi per muoverti sei obbligato o a fittare un motorino/auto o ad affidarti al servizio barchetta che ti collega ad Ischia ponte. Abbiamo cenato diverse sere al ristorante dell'albergo sulla spiaggia e la situazione moscerini/formiche volanti è stata insostenibile.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel auf Ischia war einfach perfekt. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Wünsche – ein Service, wie man ihn sich nur wünschen kann. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein echtes Highlight: ruhig, privat und mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Besonders genossen haben wir den hoteleigenen, privaten Strand – absolut idyllisch und fernab vom Trubel. Direkt am Strand gibt es zwei Restaurants, die exzellentes Mittagessen servieren. Auch das hoteleigene Restaurant überzeugte uns jeden Tag aufs Neue mit frischen, köstlichen Speisen. Morgens erwartete uns ein hervorragendes, reichhaltiges Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offenließ. Unser Zimmer bot einen traumhaften Meerblick, und auch der Thermalwasser-Pool war eine wahre Wohltat für Körper und Seele. Zudem war das WLAN im gesamten Hotel zuverlässig und schnell. Wer Ruhe, Komfort, ausgezeichnetes Essen und eine wunderschöne Lage schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Unterkunft, Lage und Personal waren toll! Alle vom Hotel waren super freundlich, als unser Flug ausfiel blieb Alessandra mit uns in Kontakt bis wir am nächsten Tag eintrafen. Ein hoteleigener Strand mit kostenlosen Liegen für Hotelgäste ist auf Ischia ein Luxus, der selten ist und den wir sehr genossen haben. Man muss aber bedenken, dass das Da Maria am Besten mit dem kostenpflichtigen Taxiboot angefahren wird. Man ist nicht zentral in Ischia Stadt und kann mal eben loslaufen. Dafür hat man ein familiengeführtes Hotel mit super freundlichem Personal, sehr gutem Frühstück, schönen Zimmern (realistisch auf den Bildern dargestellt) und einer einzigartigen Lage die mit traumhaften Blick auf das Castello Aragonese und eigenem Strand punktet.

El alojamiento era impresionante y gran localización. La llegada por el camino es dificil si llevas maletas pero hay servicio que te ayuda con el equipaje o puedes llegar por taxi boat.

L'emplacement exceptionnel avec la vue sur le château et l'accès direct à la plage. La facilité à se déplacer en taxi boat. La piscine d'eau thermale très jolie avec vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner très varié, avec des produits frais, formidable. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent, avec des prix très correctes et donne aussi sur la mer avec une vue incroyable. Enfin la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.

La plage est si belle que bcp de bateaux viennent y passer la journée

Alessandra was extremely helpful and informative. Pool area is great and has its own beach with plenty of sunbeds at both. Views from hotel to castle are fantastic and food in restaurant was exceptional.

We are fairly fit but it was quite a long walk with a number of steps to nearest shop and restaurants.

1.There was no clothes dryer in the room (or at least clotheslines with clothespins🙃) for sea hotels this is a must. It was in all the hotels where we have ever stayed. 2.Towels and bed linen were not changed in the room. We stayed for 4 nights. 3.The pillowcase was very worn out, all covered in slag🙁 A 4 star hotel throws away such worn out linen instead of laying it out for tourists. Please pay attention. 4. dirty beach, all sorts of reinforcement, fencing and netting were lying around.

Stunningly beautiful view, and private beach. Absolutely beautiful. Water taxi required to and from, which was a fun adventure. Staff was phenomenal - especially Alessandra at reception.

Could not get the A/C to work, despite detailed instructions in English. Slept with the balcony doors open,which was probably even better.

La situation géographique, à proximité du château de l'Arragonese est splendide. La qualité des plats au restaurant et la gentillesse du personnel, plus particulièrement Gianni et la dame qui s'occupe du bar ainsi que du petit déjeuner.

La liste est malheureusement assez longue, je vais essayer d'être succinct: - La douche de la piscine est restée bouchée pendant la durée de notre séjour(3 nuits) avec une eau sale stagnante - Les très (trop) nombreuses marches qui donnent accès à la plage et au restaurant sont très sales et glissantes - Les 2 rangées de transats sont collées les unes aux autres et SURTOUT, sont situées sous une falaise où d'énormes rochers menacent de s'effondrer à tous moments (un panneau est accroché à un grillage qui n'arrêterait pas mon enfant qui coure) - Après une nuit de clim à fond, la température dans la chambre était de 23,7°, autant dire qu'elle ne fonctionne pas
