Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The hotel is in an amazing location just a short walk from the centre of town. There is a great bar with a comfortable snug or access to a deck to sit by the water. Our twin room was huge, comfortable & spotless. Would recommend.
Only thing I would change is to swap the buffet breakfast for one that is cooked to order. Small detail and it didn’t impact our stay.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026The room was very spacious with gorgeous views overlooking the water. Staff were so helpful and polite. Food is amazing and excellent choice. Location is perfect with the train station to Cork city only a 2 minute walk away.
Ceiling in the room obviously had a leak at some stage so a link of paint wouldn't have gone a stray. House keeping need to pay attention to under the beds. I dropped an earring went under the bed for it, wasnt a nice sight. The cruise ships come into port, although lovely to see, we woke up with crew members looking into our room. Light net curtains would have saved us this embarrassment.

The room was so hot (just the unusual weather made it worse) but the plug in air con was helpful but not great at cooling the room down. There is no fridge in the room.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und hat eine Restaurant-Terrasse. Es liegt recht ruhig. Unser Zimmer war gross, die Betten bequem und das Bad war auch gut. Es gibt Parkplätze entlang der Strasse und es gibt ein Hotelparkhaus (first come). Ins Zentrum sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Das Essen im Restaurant ist gut.
Es war bei uns warm und wir konnten das Fenster nur einen kleinen Spalt öffnen. Es war zwar ein Ventilator aufgestellt, aber der brachte nicht wirklich viel Kühlung.

Restaurant staff appear to have no hospitality training whatsoever. We were completely ignored by what would appear to be the person in charge. Large room with a good size ensuite bathroom. The separate shower was quite large however the trickle of water from the shower head was barely enough to wet the wall. Very very frustrating.
