Delicious! Thank you for accommodating our Gluten Free request.
So friendly and helpful.
Beautiful historic building and great location.
The driveway is a little tight. Not terrible, but be careful.
The location was great and the owner was very helpful. The bathrooms were great.
There were a lot of stairs and things are little dated.
We loved the view from our room. Lovely to sit and watch the world (boats) go by in Cork Harbour
Nothing. Parking a bit tight in the driveway, max 3 cars but there was on street parking and a free car park a couple of minutes walk away so it really wasn’t a big deal.
Great setting. Wonderful stay. Thanks
Clean, tidy, big rooms, great view, good location for seeing main tourist sites, friendly hosts.
Hot water at hand basin didn’t work, couldn’t close window shutters fully/properly, curtain missing from one of the big windows next to bed, breakfast was tiny for the price paid for the room (1 small croissant with no condiments and small jar of yoghurt with granola), only two coffee pods provided and no instructions on how to use the machine.
Great location to see all the attractions. Also 3 minute drive to a free carpark which you can then walk for about 10mins into town.
All great!
The owners are absolutely wonderful! They gave us great ideas for things to see and places to eat. The yogurt and croissants outside our door in the morning was a nice touch!
We would of preferred a cooked breakfast but we knew there wasnt one when booking so the continental breakfast was just fine.
Everything was great
Location with sea view lovely
Beautiful old house. Spotless clean, excellent value for money, will definitely be back. Comfiest bed ever.
Everything was great
The house was charming and welcoming. The croissants and yogurt were much appreciated in the morning and Finn was a delight to chat with. They have a dog on property they share with a relative so we loved meeting him. If you’re OK with walking, the town centre is several blocks away and a great cafe is a couple blocks the opposite direction.
If you have a car, try to find parking nearby as there is maybe only space for 3 cars at a time.
Great base from which to explore Cobh
Comfortable, clean room with view to the bay. Hosts were informative. Location great, was near walking area along the bay, train station, old town Cobh, including Titanic Museum and Heritage Center. Morning pastry and yogurt unexpected and tasty.
Parking was advertised, but due to limited space was asked to park on the curb of the road. Coffee and tea not refilled for several days. Potentially very nice green space, but needs gardening and care.
Tho location, the ambience, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. A place where you feel at home and would quite happily spend a rainy day instead of going out if the weather turned against you.
Nulla, tutto a posto.
Loved the breakfast. Location was perfect and the owner very friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was lovely, very simple tasty and delicious. It arrived on a tray left outside our bedroom door at 8. 30am and consisted of lovely fruit compote, homemade natural yoghurt and museli, a warm croissant and jam and we had tea and coffee facilities in our room. On arrival Finnuala offered us homemade banana bread with cream cheese frosting which we declined because we were going out to dinner but it looked delicious.
Everything was lovely and we had no fault with anything other than perhaps a little shelf could be placed in the bathroom to accommodate our a glass and out toothbrushes
A really relaxed 2 day stay, and that’s in context of 10 days of relaxed stays in the republic
Nothing really, although if you have a big vehicle the driveway is a bit of a challenge
Excellent location. Very warm and friendly hosts!
This is such a charming and lovingly decorated and furnished place. It felt like we were visiting friends. A small free breakfast is brought up and placed outside your bedroom door at 8.30am - a real treat. Its in a great location, overlooking the harbour and a 20 minute walk into town. The garden offers a jacuzzi and sauna. We just loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!

Fab house, lovely owners, v comfy beds, tasty brekkie. Everything was perfect. We were 4 cyclists, and they provided safe & secure storage for our bikes in their beautiful home which was very much appreciated.

Localized in pretty place with sea view, very near to promenade leading you to the town’s center. Historical XIX th century building. Space room, cozy. We had our morning coffee at the terrace with sea view. Very friendly hosts. Check out is till 11 am but there was no problem to stay till 12. Similarly, check in till 8 pm but we contacted hosts and no problem to be a bit late. We were welcomed with banana bread in the evening, provided with complimentary breakfast in the morning.
Not cheap.
Nice room , comfortable bed. Hosts were very helpful , but not overbearing . Complimentary light breakfast a nice touch Free parking which was handy, as parking in Cobh is a bit of a nightmare in Cobh.
Beautiful historic house . Lovely facilities in room. Warm hosts
Very nice house, staff where Very friendly, loved it, no complaints.
Nothing
Beautiful property that overlooks the water. There is easy access to get to walking down by the water. Not far from the town and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly kind and accommodating. We weren’t able to use the sauna and other things on site because it had poured rain on the day we got there but that area of their house looked nice.
Parking in their driveway can be tricky depending on how many people are there but street parking is available.
We were welcomed by Finn and Peter and her mom with a lovely warm banana bread! They are a sweet caring couple with cute children. They are expert bakers with delicious, lovely breakfasts brought right to our room. They welcomed us for a home made Irish stew dinner on our second night too. So kind. The location was walkable to town, with nice views of the harbor. The bed and room were comfy.
We stayed in Room 3, which was comfy, but a bit dated. If they upgraded the furniture (sofa could use a recover) and the bathroom, as the other bathrooms in the home have been updated, this room would be perfect. They were busy with a big event at the inn, and our room may have been neglected. We had to ask for towels, a bathroom cleaning, etc. Once they were finished with the event, they calmed down and were very engaging and lovely to chat with. We wish them well with managing their business.
We received a granola/yoghurt and croissant and had a coffee/tea facility in our room
We were content with Lynwood House, it was just a short stop over. Friendly greeting when we arrived.
Beautiful house with harbour view , close to centre of Cobh. They even baked us a Guinness cake !
Gorgeous old house, fantastic views , great location.
Outstanding location. They gave us home-made croissant for breakfast...free.
Beautiful house, exceptional host, delicious cakes, comfortable bed, and amazing shower!
Beautiful views. Close to the town center but far enough away that is was quiet and peaceful. The owner was lovely. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Gardens were beautiful. The breakfast was perfect.

Alles was dichtgekit.
Very welcoming host. Huge and well decorated room overlooking the harbour area where the Titanic left for New York. Also, an extremely comfortable bed and lovely breakfast.
Nothing to report.
From start to finish we had a wonderful time. We were greeted by a wonderful host who took the time to make us welcome, including baking a most delicious caramel cake for us! Our room overlooking the island estuary was lovely. The house was full of charm and character. If you're looking to visit Cobh for the history of the Titanic voyage, and learn how the Irish have travelled to the four corners of the globe, you'll find it her. We have no hesitation in returning to Lynwood House for a future stay. Thank you Todd!
Nothing to dislike.
De locatie is fantastisch. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Warm ontvangst. De inrichting. De tuin. Het dorpje is leuk. Prima ontbijt! Gewoon lekker om de buik te vullen. Kaneelbroodje met een bakje yoghurt en müsli.
Het is een oud pand. De ramen werken niet goed. Airco is waarschijnlijk niet mogelijk. De gordijnen laten veel zon door. Een oogmasker is aan te raden.
Beautiful old home and lush garden, super friendly host, great views, and comfortable bed. Just a short walk to Cobh and the train station.
Recent renovations left some things to desire. Some cheaper decor and not the best paint job in some areas.
Beautiful very large, very comfortable room. Such pleasant, thoughtful owners, very unexpected complimentary breakfasts left outside our room each morning! We found homemade cinnamon buns to die for - croissants, delicious yoghurt & granola - all such a treat! The location was perfect - minutes from the train station to visit Cork & 10 mins to Cobh for food, drinks & the museum. Peter gave us some tips of places to visit, we really struck lucky & would highly recommend - our best stay yet & very good value. And Junior, a big handsome floppy dog is a real charmer!

Lovely old house in a very nice locatiom
Breakfast was very small considering the price paid for B&B
Todd was an exceptional host, greeted us at the door and had lovely appletart freshly baked, honestly he couldn't have been more accommodating without being too much, our stay was very comfortable and my husband enjoyed the sauna on both mornings...beautiful views and a quick stroll into town..
Nothing
The rooms a building were really beautiful. And we were made to feel so welcome by our hosts. This is truly a place I would tell people to stay at. Local feel and look with friendly and helpful hosts. Just loved it. Lots of nice little welcoming touches
The house was absolutely gorgeous as well as the room we stayed in, not to mention the owners were very kind and generous
Nothing
Such a warm welcome from Todd. The room was beautifully decorated and sat so well with the period style of this beautiful home with a modern twist. The view from the room was stunning. A stone throw away from the main street and port area of Cobh. The bed was so comfortable we had an amazing sleep. Will definitely be back for a visit. We had lovely fresh croissants and granola pots that morning which were left outside the room, again such a lovely touch. Would love to get use of the jacuzzi and sauna area next time.
It’s history and interior

Very welcoming hosts and lovely home and room. Right by the water and close to the train station.
Location excellent, staff / owner very helpful, house full of character, the antidote to boutique hotels
Nothing in particular but was not what was expected.
We stayed one night at Lynwood House. We had a large and nicely decorated room with a beautiful view of the water, as well as a nice bathroom with great shower. Location was perfect, just minutes from downtown Cobh. The hosts were so friendly, and offered us freshly baked cake and wine when we arrived. Peter gave us some great suggestions of things to do, and made us feel right at home. We were disappointed that the hot tub, which is listed on their website, was out of order. It looked like it had been for quite some time. My husband and I were both feeling very achy after lots of walking and stair climbing, and we were really looking forward to using it. Breakfast was delivered to our door and consisted of a small pastry and homemade yogurt with fruit and topped with granola. It was delish! I was really hoping for a hot breakfast, and I was willing to pay for it, but unfortunately that wasn't an option. Our room was on the top floor, so that was a challenge for our knees. If climbing lots of stairs is an issue for you, make sure to ask about a room on a lower level.
The stairs were challenging for us! Would have liked a hot breakfast, even if it cost extra.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A lovely characterful house and room in a great location.
Nothing - all was great for us.
