Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Das Hostel liegt am Rande der Altstadt. Die Kathedrale z.b. ist fußläufig etwa 5 Minuten entfernt. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Parkhaus. In unserem Zimmer war alte Bausubstanz (schöne alte Mauer) integriert.

We were greeted by Maria who was very pleasant and helpful, she arranged a taxi for us for the following morning as we had an early flight.
I liked everything, can’t find anything I didn’t like.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den herzlichen Empfang und das ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Man fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Reviewed Sep 3, 2026I really enjoyed my stay at San Clemente. The location is great, just a short walk from the cathedral and the historic center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also helped me arrange a taxi for my early morning flight, which was really appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay in Santiago.
The electronic key system was a little cumbersome, as you have to enter the access code again when leaving the room.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026We got two rooms, and the one we stayed had great air conditioning, and we were quite confortable. The other room our kids stayed had a window with a beautiful view. Location is great! There is a parking near the pousadas (not free but convenient). The staff was freindly.
One of the rooms, AC did not work well, and had a faint smell of cigarette.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La ubicación del San Clemente by Pousadas de Compostela no pudo ser mejor. Estábamos a un corto paseo de todo: la Catedral y la Praza Obradoiro, el centro histórico de la ciudad, parques, restaurantes, etc. La habitación estaba limpia, espaciosa y bien equipada. Las camas eran cómodas y había aire acondicionado (no suele ser necesario, pero llegamos durante una ola de calor en agosto) y un ventilador de techo, así como una ventana con vistas al parque de la Carballeira de Santa Susana. La comunicación con la propiedad fue excelente y el personal amable y servicial. Hablamos castellano, pero el personal habla varios idiomas, incluido el inglés y el portugués. La relación calidad-precio también fue muy justa, sobre todo después de haber pagado caro nuestro alojamiento en La Coruña una semana antes. Recomendamos mucho el San Clemente y volveríamos a alojar la próxima vez que visitemos allí.
No faltaba nada y no podíamos haber pedido más. ¡Incluso el acceso sin clave fue una ventaja inesperada!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The San Clemente by Pousadas de Compostela is located quite near the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela and the Pilgrim's Office, yet is in a quiet little enclave, away from the noise from the Cathedral plaza. It's also conveniently near restaurants and shopping. The woman who manages the hotel is incredibly helpful with directions, taxis, and any other questions you might have. Super, super kind and professional! The rooms were lovely and quiet and comfortable, the property spotless, and there's a pretty little garden patio in the back to relax in.

Luego cerca hay un aparcamiento que si baja la aplicación no hace falta ir a pagar una máquina . Pero solo puede estar 2 con monedas y 2 con la aplicación. Pero hay otro aparcamiento barato. En la misma calle privada.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026We were on the ground floor and did not need to lug the luggage up the stairs. The aircon was good, there was kettle, fridge, cold mineral water and everything we need. In particular, the staff helped booked our taxi to the train station and Marie was friendly and helpful.
