Hôtel facile à trouver. Accueil agréable. Grande chambre confortable , belle vue au 3ème etage. Literie confortable; salle d eau très agréable avec lumière du jour. Formidable le jacuzzi en chambre. Notre chambre etait impeccable ( aucune vétusté comme lu dans quelques avis). Petit déjeuner assez varié et savoureux mais un peu cher tout de même.

Difficult to access from Narbonne station. Few restaurants in the vicinity

There are no staff on site after 2100. If anything were to happen guests need to ring a telephone number. The access and egress to the hotel is very difficult. There is a narrow bridge to enter and access. The hotel rooms were big, the bed was comfortable. A nice outdoor seating area and a small kitchenette. The hotel looks and feels tired. It’s a 20/25 minute walk to Narbonne and the hotel is situated in a dark area. Didn’t feel safe to walk home at night. No public transport

Cet hôtel est bien situé, au bord de l'eau, au calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses et avec bain à remous. Très appréciable.

L'hôtel est situé dans une zone calme, avec beaucoup de verdure dans ses alentours. L'accueil est excellent, la chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, propre, en bref très agréable. Pas de souci de stationnement grâce au vaste parking souterrain.

Very helpful staff, comfortable and specious rooms. The hotel is quite out of the way of the main city. There are not many options around to walk to eat or have coffee.

A little out of the way but worth the walk from the train station. Beautiful tranquil setting! Enjoyed the special offer for dinner, food was superb! Spacious rooms, albeit a little dated.

Un hôtel de toute beauté, noyé dans une oasis de verdure et pourtant à 5 minutes du centre ville. Une belle découverte. Des chambres luxueuses avec coin cuisine, jaccuzzi, terrasse. Un accueil chaleureux.

Perfectly positioned to explore the centre of Norbonne, whilst feeling rural in its setting near the old mill and canal. Ample secure private parking.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre est magnifique (comme sur la photo), très propre et confortable. L'hôtel est très bien insonorisé. Petit point à améliorer mettre un peu plus de serviettes.

le seul problème, c'est trouver l'hôtel !!!! Mais tel un trésor, il faut beaucoup de persévérance avant trouver "la perle rare".... Accueillis par du personnel très aimable et très serviable sans oublier la belle perroquette (ara au très beau plumage). qui donne une touche exotisme au hall d'entrée. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée: jacuzzi, kitchenette, grand lit,,,,, Bref !! que du bonheur....Un très bon rapport qualité \ prix.On y reviendra c'est sur.

We were encouraged to use this hotel as a meeting point for a very nice, highly rated barge cruise. In my opinion the hotel should have aligned with the star rating of the cruise...therefore we were disappointed. The lobby area is a bit strange. It contained a large cage with a big parrot who made quite a bit of noise. The noise wasn't as disturbing as the thought that the parrot wasn't really in an appropriate environment for its well being. I am not an expert by any means but it just didn't "sit" right with me or my husband. As far as the hotel goes, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However the whole place was a bit dated and worn, most noticeably in the hallways where there were large, obvious stains on the carpets. Our group was hungry and tried to go to the restaurant early. This attempt was met with a strong rebuttal from the bartender who let us know we were not welcome to sit at a table inside. We decided to leave and find somewhere else more welcoming. We travel A LOT for both work and pleasure. We like to stay in decent places. It was ok, but if I'm in Narbonne again, I'll find a different place.

Très bel hôtel. Chambre spacieuse, personnel accueillant, hôtel calme. Idéal en couple ou en famille.

Rustige omgeving , op wandelafstand van het stadcentrum. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst . Grote kamers met whirl^pool . Enige minpuntje is de verduistering in de kamer .

Accueil très chaleureux. chambre très confortable malgré quelques petits bemoles. pas de vaisselle ou très peu, un verre pour deux. douche inutilisable en raison d'un litigeur bloqué sur eau brûlante.

Juste une envie d'y retourner

A retenir l'accueil et le personnel quant au confort des "suites"!!!!! ....(il est vrai que les tarifs sont très raisonnables) oui il y a un Jacuzzi dans la chambre utilisable qu'avec parcimonie et à certaines heures seulement, la déco ( style marin/bateau ) souffre de l'utilsation de matériaux ordinaires et a mal vieilli... stores en bois difficiles à manoeuvrer, robinet de douche coincé par le calcaire,interrupteur chevet défectueux, miroir maquillage sdb arraché du mur.... bref un bon 3 * sans plus.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Sehr nett hier auch Papagei "Tequila"! ;-) Schönes großes Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile und großem modernem Bad. Schöner großer Balkon. Ins Zentrum von Narbonne ca. 15 MInuten zu Fuß am Canal de la Robine entlang, schöner Spazierweg. Narbonne ist eine schöne, recht ruhige Stadt mit toller Kathedrale. Auch guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in schöne Städte im Norden (Béziers, Pézénac), Westen (Carcassonne), Süden (Perpignan) und an die Küste.

Séjour dans le cadre d'une réservation aux "Grands Buffets", à moins de 10 minutes du restaurant en voiture. Accueil très sympathique à la réception. Nous avions pris l'option du petit déjeuner servi en buffet et nous ne l'avons pas regretté.

Belle suite, bien équipée, très bon petit déjeuner, très bonne insonorisation, lit king size très confortable. Petit bémol: difficulté de réglage de la douche.

Week-end romantique génial détente absolue et restaurant de l'hôtel merveilleusement délicieux et excellent merci

Agréable séjour dans cet hôtel, le seul est unique bémol c'est qu'il n'y a pas de rideaux alors même en fermant les volets de la terrasse, le jour est visible très tôt. L'Hôtel met à disposition des masques de nuit mais je ne trouve pas cela confortable.

Séjour très apprécié, de par les commodités et le personnel très prévenant. Le cocktail de bienvenue était un vrai plus. Quant à la chambre, confort, propreté et bain à remous: rien à redire, si ce n'est éventuellement le manque de rideaux occultant. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. En bref, une escapade romantique dans les règles en partie grâce à cet hôtel.

Received a nice welcome. Good location in quiet residential area amongst allotments, well placed for major roads, thus avoiding the need to drive into Narbonne centre. Ample underground parking. Our room was on the top floor with nice outdoor space. Good kitchen facilities, a few more utensils would have been useful. Nicely furnished, very clean. Staff very helpful, yet not intrusive. We enjoyed the proximity to the canal and did not find the noise from the weir to be a problem, would suggest that light sleepers bring ear plugs. Pleasant walk along canal to town, took us 15 minutes to walk. Would happily stay again.

Took a bit of finding - tucked in within a housing neighborhood overlooking a fairly unattractive canal. The room was totally acceptable although the toilet seat was coming away and only fixed the next day. Next to the hotel is a restaurant which seems partially associated with the hotel and as well as being very convenient does a scallop meal that is truly delicious. All in all a good stay. Pity about the view from the room though

Great hotel in a perfect situation with extremely helpful staff.

We loved our visit to Clarion Suites. Our top floor room had a beautiful view, the staff was excellent, breakfast was delicious. The nearby restaurant, Brasserie du Moulin was superb for dining. Only minus was the wifi was not strong enough to work in our room. It did work in the lobby.

Nice apartment with whirlpool bath and balcony area. Great to have fridge and kitchen facilities especially with the lovely market in Narbonne where we bought some great pâté and cheese for supper. Didn't have a car and the walk in to town is about 15 mins along the canal side. it's quite a long way to walk to the station (about 30 mins) with luggage although the station is not far as the crow flies!

Two things spoilt our stay. First we found the restaurant was closed Mondays and most of Narbonne is too. The helpful lady on reception recommended 3 restaurants all ten minutes away on foot. (Not a problem as it happened). First one closed (uh oh) second one open (and nice) which we jumped at. Think website should be clear(er) on restaurant. Secondly we were one of only a few guests and we were politely and gently encouraged not to have breakfast.

Nice quiet secluded location 20 minute walk from town. Country B&B feel. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant on location. Great for a quiet get away, away from city life but close enough to town to get food/drinks.

Top notch. The jacuzzi felt so good on my feet after a hard day of touristing.

Very enjoyable stay

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a fly drive across Southern France and chose it because of having parking and close to a town so we'd have somewhere to walk around in the evening. We struck lucky as the setting was tranquil and the room was beautiful, clean and well insulated. On top of that we had a balcony overlooking the garden, so were able to see the river and had a whirlpool bath, which was a welcome relief after a long day travelling. Katy the receptionist was so polite and helpful and one of the nicest people we have ever met after years of travelling. The hotel was only 10-15 mins flat walk along the river bank from the centre of Narbonne, which was ideal. Narbonne is a lovely town with several restaurants (we found a great one called Ave Domitius right in the centre by de l'Hotel de Ville). We would happily go back to this hotel and Narbonne again.

Our two-night stay made an delightful end to our holiday. The hotel is approached through a housing estate, but turns out to be in almost rural surroundings,attractively situated beside a physic garden and a canal and forming part of a former water mill. Our room overlooked this, and was spacious and comfortable, with effective air-conditioning. There was a small kitchen and, for those who wanted it, a jacuzzi (a bit out of keeping with the hotel's environmental policy, but still...). The breakfast was very good, but we didn't use the restaurant. The hotel is a half-hour walk from the city centre, 25 minutes from the rail station and only 10 minutes from the autorail terminal. Staff were very helpful and dealt promptly and effectively with a couple of small problems.

There was a water problem. In the shower all water was boiling hot until a staff member came up and explained a complicated button procedure to get cold! In all my years of international travel I have never encountered this! The same staff member cleared our breakfast table as we attempted to make a cup of tea. This shows poor awareness of guests. Other tan that, a good quality hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Clarion Suites. The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcome. For a French hotel it was stylish with good facilities . The bed was particularly comfortable and the hotel was quiet and relaxing which ensured a good night's sleep. Hot water was plentiful and the kitchen enabled us to have a quick cereal breakfast. A Spar store is nearby for essential purchases. We were there out of season but we could see how good the outside facilities were and would be great in the summer. We used the hotel restaurant on the first evening and it was so good we returned on our second night. We had the Plat du Jour on both occasions and both were excellent. It was outstanding for hotel food and not much more expensive than the normal chain hotel fare. The staff were lovely in the restaurant. It was interesting to note that local residents used the restaurant. Narbonne is about a 15 minute walk away along the canal bank and well worth a visit.

I wish had more night stay in this lovley hotel. This city ( Narbonne) and Hotel both offered morethan what I expected. Hotel room was clean and good designed with massive balcony. Hotel surrounding area offers espectacular view. Very friendly staff. Only down side for me was the breakfast… not hot breakfast was served.

Overall stay at hotel was pleasant. Room was large with beautiful view from restful balcony. Disappointed we could not use spa but understand the noise issues. Bathroom facilities excellent. Cleanliness very good. On checking in we were told we could eat at hotel restaurant and book the bill back to our room for business tax purposes. We ate at the restaurant. Two young inexperienced men were waiting tables but were doing their best. The restaurant manager, seemed to be focussing on talking to diners at 2 tables. At end of meal we asked waiter to bill the meal to the room as advised. Waiter went to manager to get advice on how to do this. Manager was still talking to the same table of diners - he then told waiter that this could not be done and we had to pay. I had to return to my room and leave my wife at the table whilst I got my wallet as I had not I would need it. Extremely embarrassing and annoying. Managers rudeness was not acceptable. Spoke to night staff and reception when we checked out and they re-affirmed the procedure for billing back restaurant meals to rooms as happens at all hotels throughout the world. Manager clearly preferred chatting to people rather than breaking off conversation to assist his staff member on how to conduct the transaction. Rudeness is totally unacceptable - on this basis I will not stay at this hotel again. Disappointing as experiences at Clarion Hotels around the world have been generally been very positive.
