The shower set up - awful!

Excellent breakfast, comfortable, clean, quiet room.

Extremely slow restaurant service (an hour from ordering to meals being brought to table) and didn't have meals originally ordered. Didn't have steak or the first choice of dessert which spoiled a planned romantic evening! They seem to concentrate more on weddings.

Meals were excellent. Parking was easy. The room originally allocated was up/down several corridors. On request were were relocated a room on the ground floor.

The toaster needs replacement as the ones in use are SO SLOW! At one stage there were five people queuing!

Good food, lovely comfortable and clean room. We have stayed hear several times before and it is consistently good. Big car park and electric car charging facility.

Long distances to walk to some rooms and no lift. Bath is quite high to step in/out of

Having to walk through a room full of wedding guests who were waiting to go into their meal. Felt like we were intruding to have to walk through them all to get from our room to the dining room but it was the only way we could go.

Nice comfy room and lovely wedding venue.

Restaurant and lounge areas were really lovely, comfortable & welcoming. We ate in the restaurant which was absolutely great, very accommodating and absolutely delicious meal.

Pillows...hard! Very uncomfortable.

Stunning hotel with beautiful grounds! Lovely views and walks

Some carpets were a bit tired looking. Considering the size of the property, a small spa would have been nice, even just an outdoor sauna. It would also have been nice to see the tennis courts made good. Bed far too soft, did give me a bad back!

We specified a dog-friendly room. It was superb and on the ground floor. We were informed at Reception that it would be okay to leave our dog in our room whilst we ate in the dining room. At breakfast, we ate in the bar area where our dog was allowed.

We decided to stay again on our return journey home. We stayed in the same room we stayed in a week earlier. Facilities were superb. Dog treats were again available for our dog. Another excellent night's stay

There was nothing to dislike

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Enjoyed range and quality of food at breakfast. Room clean and well decorated and looked very nice but needed some touchups. Bed bit soft for our liking. Shower needed more force. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Double occupancy room with a single chair! No air con - just a single fan and no opening windows. The anccommodation was over priced (£225 inc breakfast for two).

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with home-produced food served in a pleasant dining room overlooking the grounds. Many comfortable communal areas should the weather have been inclement, or outside areas when it was glorious like it was.

The room showed a few minor signs of wear and tear.

Our rooms were delightful with beautiful windows overlooking a lovely garden area. The beds were very comfortable. Sizable bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Plenty of choice for Breakfast including a good gluten free menu. The restaurant was top class food and very popular. Staff were brilliant!

Understand the it is a beautiful old building but it was so hot l should have checked out air conditioning and a lift.So we won’t stay there again.

Friendly welcome, especially dog friendly. Excellent breakfasts, lots of choice and delicious. Large grounds, lots of different areas inside and out to relax and enjoy. Room very clean and bed comfortable.

Beautiful building and large garden with the option to wander, big enough for dogs to stretch their legs. Cheerful, welcoming staff happy to help where needed in bar and restaurant. Breakfast lovely as continental self service plus optional cooked extras for additional cost. Room spacious, nicely furnished with a very comfortable mattress on the bed. Lovely treats in the bathroom for the traveller. Uber operates in the area, great service if you have the app.

One very minor suggestion for the pillows to be slightly softer. Everything else was fabulous.

The room was beautifully presented with a wonderful view of the garden, the bar staff were excellent and very efficient and the breakfast service and food really were something else. The eggs royale presented in magnificent style. I walked around the gardens after breakfast with a beautiful little fox keeping me company. It was perfect. We even had some fireworks the night before (I think it was for a wedding though, not for me).

I really wanted to fill out the survey in the room with a chance to win a weekend break but I didn’t have a pen 😩but I know how pens go walking all the time!

Lovely hotel on the whole.

Room was hot....full sun on arrival which had warmed up the water left out for us and ice bucket but no ice. Not enough shower and shampoo product for 2 people and no hair conditioner.....all a bit skimpy! Lovely suit and view if you ignored the roof.

Overnight stay for local event, lovely hotel with great staff

Firstly we booked a room in Oct 2025 for 27/6/2026 for one night for our granddaughter wedding only to be told 3 weeks before the wedding that their was a problem with the room and would we consider changing ,kept phoning only to be told they hadn't made a decision finally came back and said the room was ours . Really frustrating for us considering we had already paid for that room, for the amount that you were charging for that room I think it's disgusting as well that there wasn't even a breakfast included in the price and no air con just a fan,very disappointing with the way we were treated.

For us the bed was too soft. The grout in shower needed attention.

Staff and food were excellent. The amount of food per course was just right which resulted in nothing being left on plates which was a very pleasant change. Most places today think quantity makes up for inferior food.

Lack of fridge in room. Rather old sofa that smelt rather unpleasant and was imposable to sit on as cushions had completely collapsed. Old does not mean good. Uncomfortable mattress on bed.

Only 1 ev charger (tgat rakes 2 vehicles). First come first served. One car was plugged in at 6pm when we arrived - it was still plugged in when we left at 9am the following morning. Probably advisable not to let your car battery get too low before you arrive. I believe Tesco in Stourport might be the nearest additional charging facility.

Communal areas were well maintained and decorated, nice food.

We stayed during very hot weather and the fan in the room was very poor.

A very enthusiastic welcome by the pleasant receptionist. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean in a quiet location, they even included efficient fans due to the exceptionally hot weather, much appreciated. Breakfast was a "3 course" meal! - Fruits, yoghurts and cereals / hot cooked items / then pastries : all fresh and delicious. Great bar and outside patio for drinks and snacks overlooking gardens and lawns. Fabulous location for visiting the nearby Hartlebury Castle, Harvington Hall and the Severn Valley Railway.

Disappointing offhand welcome. We discussed in front of reception that a food gift for the following day might need a fridge - even wondered if room would have a fridge but receptionist didn’t tell us if there was a fridge or not nor offer or ask if help was needed. Warm welcome it was not.

From the moment we arrived, it became painfully clear that this hotel’s idea of “luxury” is nothing more than marketing gloss. In boiling hot weather, with an official red heat warning, the room’s only fan was tiny, slow, and barely functional. It sat in one corner of the bed, blowing weak air that didn’t even reach the other side. This is not luxury—this is basic comfort, and they failed spectacularly. When we politely requested an additional fan, the receptionist responded with an abrupt “no”, offering no solution, no empathy, and no acknowledgement of the extreme conditions. Hiding behind “company/hotel policy” while ignoring the fact that the existing fan was not working properly is not customer service—it’s negligence. Even after explaining that the heat would make it impossible to sleep, the receptionist remained dismissive and rigid. Only after prolonged discussion and negotiation did they agree to swap the fan, yet still refused to provide a second one. They knew the weather was dangerously hot. They knew the equipment was inadequate. They simply did not care. Our Experience at this hotel? A terrible night, no sleep, and a ruined family holiday that we had hoped would be a pleasant break. Instead, we were left exhausted, frustrated, and shocked that a hotel charging premium prices could fail to provide even the most basic amenity during extreme weather. The fans were old, slow, and not fit for purpose, yet the hotel still charged luxury rates. The staff’s attitude—rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help—made the experience even worse. The lack of hospitality extended beyond the reception desk and into the restaurant. At every point of contact, staff appeared unwelcoming, disengaged, and indifferent, which is the opposite of what any guest expects—especially in a hotel that markets itself as “luxurious.” Instead of warm greetings, helpful attitudes, or even basic courtesy, we were met with cold responses and an atmosphere during our stay.

Had a wonderful three night stay while visiting the area for family research and to see a show in Birmingham. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and the location and grounds perfect. Very good choice at breakfast too. Would thoroughly recommend and already looking forward to staying again.

Our only gripe was the difficulty in getting in and out of the bath/shower. Older people would really struggle. Evening meal, although very nice, was a bit pricey.

What a hidden gem is Hgarths Stone Manor. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The room we had was spotlessly clean, had a lovely view over the rear of the manor, and was well appointed. The bar area was pleasant, clean, and tidy, and the staff again were wonderful. Dinner was perfectly cooked, piping hot, and served quickly. There's ample free parking at the Manor, and it appears to be a safe area for your vehicle.

Only the £50 hold on my card. I understand why but don't like it. If it was instantly refunded on departure, it would be more acce.

All staff we met were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Great location and enjoyed the bar area and breakfast next morning.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and the hot breakfast was exceptional. The range of cereals, fruit, continental and fruit choices was brilliant. Quick service but never felt rushed.

The room felt a bit over crowded. Dressing table was cluttered with the kettle, Ipad etc so no room to use and nowhere else to place kettle etc.

It's in a really stunning location, everything was clean and the room was really nice, I'd requested a room with a bath as my husband missed baths and wanted a bath for his birthday and they left a Happy Birthday plate in the room, which was a really nice touch!

I would love to say I had it but room service wasn’t available until 12pm on a Saturday?? And the iPad in the room wouldn’t send a message and no telephone to contact room service. I called the main hotel number and it was cut off twice, as no one was picking up, so I gave up. We left the hotel and got some food at the services on the motorway.. better than the fillet steak that was murdered by the chef at the hotel..

The food especially the over cooked fillet steak and the black bream which was like a starter.

Our tablet didn't work in our room so we had to go to reception to ask about dining and departure. In the morning, the lady on reception wasn't as friendly as the lady the previous evening and when we asked if we could fill our coffee cup for the journey, she said we would have to pay for it!

The hotel was in a great location, the room was a nice size and comfortable, we particularly liked the addition of the two chairs. Breakfast was limited but tasty and staff were very helpful.

The TV in the room constantly changed channel itself whilst trying to watch it, which was very annoying. The menu for dinner was a bit limited for our liking.

All the staff were thoroughly professional, pleasant and responsive to all requests. Building of historical interest and modernised where necessary. Extensive car parking. Breakfast freshly cooked or continental style both very good. Bedroom spacious and comfortable. Bathroom ok and good to see hand grab rails to assist those of us in need of such support.

Evening meal was disappointing considering the reputation. Lamb cutlets were inadequately rendered and rather dry.

The hotel was very welcoming, clean and above our expectation, our rooms wer clean and adequately serviced with coffee, tea and sundry items.

More selection of eggs available on the hot plate as we didnt realise we could order seperately as the main egg dish was scrambled, on asking the next day for poached I and a colleague was served scrambled and when the poached eventually arrived they were over cooked. This was my only disapointment for the whole stay.

The staff were efficient and polite. The hotel was clean and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were warm and well equipped. I forgot my phone charging cable and reception loaned me one. The carpark was safe and plentiful. The gardens were gorgeous with a pond and fountain and 2 ducks swimming on it. We didn't eat there because of the timing. We will definitely return. Lovely stay

The check-in was friendly and efficient, the room was very comfortable and we were able to adjust temperature as needed. Big thanks to the staff who spotted that I had left my briefcase in the room as I checked-out and called so that I could return to the hotel having only gone a couple of miles down the road!

The room was very smart looking, but a little run down and could do with a little more attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. we had an issue relating to a faulty tap, and was concerned to find that none of the bedroom windows had been closed/latched properly, which made the room really cold, but also easy for anyone to have entered the room when we were not there.
