Niks

The room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The staff were always helpful and we enjoyed the dinner and breakfast facilities. The addition of free birdpark entry attached the hotel made it excellent stay.

We did not travel by car and although the hotel staff will kindly arrange cabs, the hotel is around a 35 minute walk to the train station. There are local buses but the location was a little inconvenient for us but that does not take away from this being a very good hotel stay.

Prima kamer

Gedateerde kamer

Good location for what we needed.

Staff were ok but only doing the job. Could have been a bit more helpful. Room was cleaned at eye level, above that & you could see dust when you moved stuff. Noise from other rooms (doors shutting, people talking) was not good.

The roomservice, service at frontdesk, the view and that the room has ac

My shwergel dispencer was empty. Reported it but we checkedout and wqs still empty. Their was a chair that the cushion was wornout and reported it and was change on our last night.

Eerder konden inchecken.

Nettes Personal.

In der Küche gab es kein Geschirr.

Good location for my event

Fixtures and fittings showing age

Was goed veel keuze

Dat kamer nog niet klaar was!!!

De kamer en vriendelijk personeel

Het matras

Booked here to be honest for the price and had low expectations. Check in was friendly. I had tried to wiggle a room upgrade for a zoo view but didn't manage it (but I can understand why, they don't seem to have a lot of them rooms). First impressions of the room was really good, Room was very comfortable and ticked all the boxes. On site bar, a little small and noisy with sports on the TV, perhaps in the summer the outdoor space is better to use, Loved the free tickets for the zoo. We thought we'd spend a couple of hours here but ended up spending hours and almost missing the ferry home. Can't recommend enough!

Nothing?!

Clean large comfortable room. Nice big bath and shower. Comfy bed. Nice bar and resturant. Large car park for if you drive. Not far from town centre

No milk in the room for tea or coffee.

Location. Close to where i needed to be. Not the bird park.

Price. I found it expensive. Water pressure is low. Table lamp faulty and no rubber mat for shower. It is very slippy, which is dangerous with my mobility issues.

Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and decorated nice. Very convenient being right by Avifauna bird park. It was a lovely day out. Public transport is very good, hotel is situated in a lovely area, not too far from main tourist areas.

Restaurant is quite expensive.

Angenehmes Zimmer, alles da, was wir brauchen.

Freundliches Personal.

Nichts

Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Ei en spek/bacon prima van smaak. Yoghurt heerlijk. Voldoende keus.Houd Locatie prima.

Houdt prijs kwaliteit verhouding goed in de gaten. Bedlamp defect. Douche instap erg hoog.

Everyone friendly and the restaurant plus animal sanctuary was excellent 😊

All ok!

Comfortable bed, lovely food and free entry to the bird park. A reviewer mentioned you can hear the birds in your room but as soon as you close the window it's silent.

Stairs to first floor area quite shallow

All good

All good

Great location with access to the aviary. We had a buffet breakfast on the terrace. The food was great and the view fabulous. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing.

Super

Geil

Nice rooms, nice hotel. Nice food.

WiFi didn’t work in our area. Hotel is quite a way tying the centre of town however we knew that so it’s not a complaint.

The bird sanctuary

No food when we arrived at 9pm

Free entry to the bird park - which was amazing. We went to a 'bird demonstration', which brought tears to our eyes. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Buffet breakfast was good. Room was spacious.

We booked a taxi through the hotel, which didn't: turn up in time. Not the hotel's fault, but it was rather disappointing. We managed to get a lift to where we were going (parkrun) with another couple. We asked for an extra half an hour to check out, but were refused point blank, which we thought was a bit harsh.

Great hotel which was clean and friendly

A bit out of the way. No supermarket nearby

Excellent hotel. Lovely large rooms and barhrooms with all amenities. Fantastic nature park to visit for free whilst staying too. Restaurant attached to hotel was gorgeous. Beautiful setting and lovely food

No negatives

Location and value for money.

Nothing at all.

Nice spacious room. Pretty gardens. Proximity to bird garden. Late check out.

The price of the bikes. We thought €20 each was a lot to just get to parkrun and back. We were very disappointed that there was no flexibility in this price. As a result we didn't take them and walked instead!

Clean and spacious rooms. My room over looked part of the wildlife park.

A hospedagem e maravilhosa

Brunch was really great and the price-quality was good for a comfortable, spacious and clean room. We actually didn't book with the intention of visiting the avifauna park, so it was a nice complementary entry!

Not a great connection to public transport to the city centre.

Parfait

When you choose a Van der valk hotell, you expect clean nice rooms. This hotell was the total opposite. We left without staying the night because the room was so nasty. The staff couldn’t give us a new room or our money back.

The room smelled like old cigarettes, it was blood stains on the curtains. The carpet had plenty of stains all over.
