Die Lage des Hausbootes ist wirklich unfassbar schön. Die Ausstattung ist sehr durchdacht und es fehlt an nichts. Es waren ausreichend Handtücher, Pflegeutensilien, Seife, Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffee, Zucker, Öl etc - alles in überdurchschnittlicher Menge vorhanden. Die Innenaustattung ist mit Liebe zum Detail perfekt abgestimmt. Der Urlaub konnte mit Betreten des Hausbootes beginnen. Die Vermieter waren schon vor Start der Reise sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren wirklich begeistert!

Mooi uitzicht

Endroit très calme au bord d'un bras du Rhin. Le matin on peut admirer le lever de soleil sur la campagne environnante et les nombreux oiseaux aquatiques qui vivent l'endroit. Une bonne base pour visiter Gouda, Leiden, Keukenhof. Le logement dispose d'un sauna afin de se relaxer après une journée de vélo ou une excursion. Astrid est une hôte charmante, soucieuse de faire du séjour une expérience inoubliable.

We had a wonderful stay at this houseboat with our two small children — it truly exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing clear instructions and even a lovely gift of homemade honey and jam. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the private sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Our kids adored the loft beds, and the peaceful surroundings — with birds and ducks all around — made the stay even more special. The location is quiet yet convenient, with Amsterdam nearby and great for visiting places like The Hague and Efteling. A memorable experience we would highly recommend!

The houseboat is a little slice of heaven . Its location on the Oude Rijn opposite farms and windmills and surrounded by the most wonderful birdlife makes it magical . The in built sauna with a ladder to dip off the deck into the river is an extra treat which we used twice daily as it heats up quickly and easily . The boat itself is perfectly designed - it has everything you need and feels luxurious from the bedding to the bathroom to the kitchen with nespresso machine and unlimited coffee pods ( to enjoy from the deck). It is in a great location ( as long as you have a car ) to visit a whole range of Dutch towns and sights including the famous Keukenhof gardens . Astrid and her family are lovely to deal with too and was hugely welcoming . Our children adored it as much as we did and we cannot wait to go back . Hugely recommended .

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quirky place. Sauna is fantastic, it’s comfortable and good facilities. Astrid and her husband are very welcoming.

The location was absolutely amazing with the visiting ducks a highlight for our daughter. The honey and jam were a lovely touch and would definitely stay again and spend more time exploring the area. The kitchen was well appointed for self-catering purposes, the shower was amazing, the sauna was amazing.

We loved the quiet location, enjoyed bird and boat watching on the canal from every window. We felt very safe and very welcomed by Astrid and her family.

Der Ort ist einfach wundervoll, direkt am Wasser. Die Sauna war das I-Tüpfelchen. Früh gleich schwimmen gehen, den Booten zuschauen. Und natürlich die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich.

Le cadre, le calme et l'originalité du logement. Et évidemment, l'accueil.

Sehr idyllisch gelegenes Hausboot , sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, gute Ausstattung, gute Lage mit kurzen Wegen nach Rotterdam, Den Haag, Delft, Gouda, Leiden etc. Parkplatz vor dem Haus und die Wallbox dufte ich auch für einen fairen Preis mitbenutzen.

Die Klimaanlage war mit der Wärme in dieser Woche etwas überfordert, in aller Regel wird es aber wohl reichen… Die Stechmücken, aber dafür können die Vermieter nichts …

El editar en una casa flotante en un canal es una experiencia perfecta, con sauna propia, el canal al lado, un pequeño paraiso

Quizás ea necesite coche para moverse, pero es por el lugar donde sw encuentra.

The house is perfect! It´s beautifully designed and has all the necessary details for you to feel a 100% comfortable. Good bed and linen, fully equipped kitchen, of course great and chill views and an amazing full bathroom (the sauna is really really good!!). It´s clean, tidy and really feels like being home. The host Astrid is super sweet, generous and attentive; the way she treats you contributes to make the stay a great experience, good work!! We fully recommend it :) thank you!!

The floating house is located next to a beautiful small garden, with a lovely little terrace, in a dream surrounding! Not only do you have the terrace, but also a second one, with an arm-chair, directly on the water. One can enjoy the beauty of the river from anywhere in the house. There is a parking space directly in front of the access door, in a calm neighborhood. The sauna is a plus. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed, the heating is controlled by the client so the comfort is excellent.

For a couple, the fact that two mattresses came apart during the night in a double bed was very uncomfortable. One of us fell between them, sleeping on the wooden structure! A double bed should be provided with a double mattress, or the two separate ones should be kept together by any kind of binding, at least the bed sheets. There is no storage space and no way to hang the clothes. The hangers were in the bathroom, in a steamy damp atmosphere.

We loved the location which is great for visiting a range of cities, towns and sites. We visited Amsterdam, The Hague, Kinderdijk, Eftleing theme park and more... We also loved swimming in the river and being able to warm up in the Sauna after a long day site seeing.

It is close by the owner’s house, but as the property faces away from their house, it isn’t a problem.

Beautiful houseboat with views across canal to rural landscapes, well designed and equipped and with the bonus of an excellent sauna and wonderful bird life on and around the water. Lots of details considered, such as provision of nespresso pods and decent tea selection :) Great cycling nearby.

It was all fine, just be aware that behind the houseboat is quite a built up area/busy roads etc. The only tiny thing is that the venetian blinds do not shut out light particularly well - something to note if you are a light sleeper!

The location was stunning and the host were excellent. We had a fantastic time swimming in the river and the a lovely sauna.

Such a peacful and beatiful place. It feels like a fairy tail with swans and ducks that comes in the mornings. Astrid is very nice, attentive and thoughful. The kitchen is well equipped, and thinking down to the smallest details is evident. The location is great too, close to leiden, gauda, rotterdam and utrecht and all of the sights in between

Peaceful pastoral atmosphere, great facilities and very nice hosts - what else do you need for a perfect stay?! Enjoyed every minute of it. Great location for those travelling by car. No private parking, but enough parking space at the street. Fantastic sauna. And the house itself on the water - absolutely great impression. Hope to be back some day!

Our stay at Aangenaam op de Rijn, woonboot was absolutely delightful. The host, Astrid, was truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Astrid was always available to assist us with anything we needed, making us feel well taken care of throughout our four-night stay. Getting to the location was easy, and we were pleased to find that there was a parking space for us. Astrid was there to greet us when we arrived, which was a lovely personal touch. The beauty and tranquility of the surroundings were truly the highlight of our vacation. The location provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere that was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The apartment itself was exactly as described, and I was impressed with how well-organized it was. Despite the limited space, the layout of the apartment made excellent use of the available area. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. It was a pleasure to cook in such a functional and thoughtfully designed space. Cleanliness is always important to me, and I was pleased to find an abundance of clean and fresh-smelling towels available. The shower in the apartment was amazing, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. However, the true gem of this accommodation was the private sauna. It was an absolute delight to have access to such a luxurious amenity. The sauna added an extra level of relaxation and indulgence to our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodation is really lovely the owner is so kind and the view is just breathtaking. We loved it and we will definitely go back.
