Rooms were described as lovely but some issues like noise from the bar were mentioned.

Rooms frequently described as beautiful, spacious with terraces and good views; occasional notes on wear/maintenance (shower to review, slight wear on some rooms).

Cleanliness issues noted regarding the compact and basic nature of the room and dining experience.

Consistently praised: multiple reviews note 'pulizia', 'camera pulita' and overall cleanliness is described as top; no major widespread complaints.

Well-situated for sightseeing and accessing hiking trails, with nice views.

Very positive for Etna activities and views (terrace/Etna sighting, proximity to hikes and Taormina), though one comment notes the hotel is 'lontano dal centro'.

Service was praised for friendliness and helpfulness, despite some instances of unfriendliness.

Strong positive sentiment: staff repeatedly described as very friendly/gentilissimo/personnel très agréable and helpful, with mentions of free upgrades and good guest assistance.

Food quality fluctuated; breakfast was average, and several food-related complaints were noted.

Restaurant Gatto Blue praised in several reviews, but breakfast reviews are mixed (from 'buona e abbondante' to 'molto scadente' and lacking Sicilian typicality).

Amenities like the spa were noted positively, but internet was a major downside.

Good outdoor garden, multiple jacuzzis and spa facilities mentioned, but several notes that many spa services are paid, complicated in-room whirlpool use and lack of on-site laundry/minibar issues.

Given the overall experiences and quality, perceived as fair but food unpleasantness affected value.

Generally seen as good value (explicit 'great value' and recommendations), balancing amenities and location with some paid extras.
