It was a great time we went for our first long overdue date and came back to enjoy the spa suite
We enjoyed it with drinks of course which I had a error in judgement since I had been sober since before the covid outbreak and it hit me way to hard and I was sent to emergency via 911 at which point they kicked my girlfriend out right after wards in the middle of the night with nowhere to go and kept my $400 cash deposit and my property I had left in there and when I called a few days later they proceeded to tell me that the room was being completely redone because of drug contamination even though there was no drugs in the room in our possession and that no one had been in the room since cuz of it and when I told them that it was a alcohol related incident and drugs weren’t involved they would not give my deposit back and I was angry cuz I have proudly quit using drugs since my brother passed in early February and I know for a fact that I wouldn’t jeopardize my new job and promotion with using again and I hung up very angry then they called back saying they were gonna give my property back but my anger changed all that here’s my question though if nobody had entered since because of all this how did they know it was my speaker that was left and wouldn’t give back now my speaker and my $400 deposit are gone and they banned me and my girlfriend
Breakfast was good but the pool went down while we were there :-(
The pool area
Staff were great, breakfast was good both hot and cold options, clean and comfortable
Only downside was thin interior walls with loud neighbors on one side waking us in the mornings
Comfortable king size bed and easy access to our family events.
Breakfast was over by 8:30.
tbh I didn't like anything. total disappointment from what I had expected after seeing and booking online however it is nothing like there online pictures etc and not a very clean hotel.
everything .
Good
All good
Front desk girl was nice.
I don't have a credit card. I've rented many hotel rooms without one. I just put the deposit on my visa debit. The manager said I'd have to put a $500 deposit down to use a visa debit. Absolutely ridiculous. We went to the Best Western and had no troubles.
The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and hashbrowns not just cold selections.
Everything, except the Hidden $300 damage deposit.
The $300 Damage deposit was not listed on the ad when I booked... The add specifically said that there were no additional fees. It was embarrassing. In my rage fuelled rant to the front desk, she had mentioned that if I would have booked through the hotel directly, the charge would have only been $100. Obviously Booking.com has some repairing to attend to with this hotel.
location good, parking good, room size ok
gym - broken, breakfast - when food ran low, it wasn't refilled for a long tim pool hot tub closed one day, too much chlorine in pool water
All.
Comfortable bedding, helpful staff. Rooms were very clean.
It has nothing to do with the hotel and anything they can do, but lots of people letting their kids run around the hotel screaming and unsupervised, waking us up early.
Everything
Nothing
I really love there pool the salt water is amazing
Nothing i want to say as I told them the 1 thing n I know they will work on it. It wasn't a big deal.
We liked the pool area.
The breakfast was not good at all. Really sad. The pillows were not soft, really lumpy. The pool area isn't bad. It could have been cleaner. Lots of sand/dirt on the pool ground.
The staff, the pool, beds comfy and breakfast yummy
So many issues with our stay there I don’t even know where to begin. Check in was difficult, breakfast was terrible, staff had no customer service skills. Staff has gotten my name wrong and someone was looking for someone with a similar name and she told them it was me, which resulted in getting woken up in the middle of the night by police. Forgot something in the hotel and of course when I called they couldn’t find it. I’ve never had such a terrible stay in a hotel.
👍
👍
It was clean and the room was big. The kids enjoyed the pool and the waterslide.
On weekdays, the breakfast closes at 8:30 am. It's not really a vacation if I have to get up that early for breakfast.
Great people
Hello. Our stay was for the convenience of being close to a show. Rooms were normal hotel rooms. But very loud. We could hear the people in the next room. Kids, people on a phone. Staff were friendly. We would stay again.
The beds were comfortable, friendly staff, clean. Main reason for choose this hotel was the pool and water slide for the kids.
Breakfast was just ok.
Pool wasn’t working. Roof in bathroom had water damage and was peeling. It was noisy as well during sleep hours.
A good, basic hotel if you have access to a car. Fort Saskatchewan public bus terminal nearby for local transport. The pool was good and is family oriented. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff were helpful. The condition of the hotel could benefit from being updated.
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a really great experience. Super clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good too. We initially booked the room with 2 queen beds but I was called prior to our stay and was offered a free upgrade because there had been a maintenance issue with the other room. Which I appreciated they gave us a call before hand. The pool was also really nice and the slide was super fast! My daughter, husband and I had lots of fun on it. Would stay here again :)
The pool was way less than satisfactory. Hot tub had sand, dirt and what looked like skin flakes swirling around the bottom. Rinse shower had globs of hair on the floor around the wall, as well as a dirty rusty empty soap dispenser. Floors were grimy and full of sand/dirt making my feet feel gross. Main pool water was extremely salty, foggy and murky. My children couldn’t see to the other side with goggles or barely see their diving toys. The saltiness made our skin and hair feel disgusting. The slide was also out of order with no signage or warnings until you get into the pool (I chose this hotel for the pool and slide which made our stay very disappointing) Walking into the pool area gave very eery vibes, dark and not well lit. Staff was amazing - room was clean and great - breakfast amazing as well - pool area needs a lot of attention.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however the condition of the public areas left something to be desired. Condition of the furniture in the hallways was poor, with ripped and missing covers on the chairs in the hallway. The pool deck was very dirty with hair clogging the drains and dirt and dust under the waterslide( which was broken) and it didn’t look like they were planning on fixing it. There were cigarette butts everywhere outside the hotel and the “smoking area” was gross with garbage all over. Property manager needs to pay more attention to the outside and public areas of this hotel. Overall a decent stay, but definitely will not be going back to such a dirty place.
Nice place to stay. Was what we needed.
The pool water looked dirty.
Called ahead to ask how much the hold on the card is because I wanted to pay in advance (Expedia) and after being told to call back at first, I was then told $100 for the hold. When I got to the hotel, I was informed it was $300 hold because I paid through Expedia. It would have been nice to be informed of this huge difference ahead of time which is why I called before I even booked. Then when I got to the room, I realized it did not match the pictures and when I asked about it I was told that the pictures online are not accurate and there was nothing they could do about it. I was there for 2 nights, and they had the same 1 staff member working everything the ENTIRE time, I do not know much about labor laws but there has to be a violation there. Not to mention it was a long weekend and incredibly busy, this one lady was working both the buffet breakfast cooking the food and the front desk and maintaining the pool all at the same time. It was chaotic. I did not see a cleaning staff once the entire time I was there, multiple times there were spills in the elevator that went uncleaned for hours and items sitting outside guest rooms for the entirety of the stay. If they were able to get better trained staff and more of them at that, this hotel had great potential for an amazing stay. So far, I will not be coming back.
The front desk staff were friendly . The bed was comfortable . It was relatively quiet in the room.
We were disappointed that the slide in the pool wasn't open as that was the main reason for booking this hotel. It should have been in the description that it was not available as it was closed for quite some time . There were no drink options at breakfast as they had no stock .
Property is a new building, but many small thing have to be fix, like the toilets in our room (312), the showers are not working properly, the water slid wasnt open, the areas are clean and the breakfast was good. the staff very friendly.
Hot tub really clean Pool really clean Room clean
The brekfast ( eggs, bacon, saussage and potatoes) wasnt cold. The reception doesnt smile
Right next to a Montana’s. Great dinner there. Only real complaint on the stay is pretty insignificant. Please get better coffee packs for the room coffee machine. Packs come with a stir stick. One fake sugar one real sugar. No creamer or whitener.
Hot good Don't like the damage deposit of $300
Liked the pool. Room had a hint of cigarette smell.
Everything was great. Only problem was the hot tub was not working. The cleaning staff was awesome. They placed my son's stuffed snakes over the beds, which was so awesome.
This is where we stay in Ft. Sask. No reason to go anywhere else.
Nice
Bed were comfortable and the sheets were very soft. I would return just for that. Stayed here after a concert in Edmonton, conveniently located off the highway with many amenities.
Every thing was very good! Nice customer service!!
Great
Out of the three days we stayed I only ate breakfast once. The hash brown patties were super hard. The eggs were not warm and the steamed vegetables for breakfast is a horrible idea. Our bed was very soft. There was a stain on the loveseat cushion and the ottoman was dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom was water stained and paint peeling. On the positive side, staff was friendly and helpful.
Good stay. No issues…
Overall it’s fine but our room had a bit of musty smell. The other issue was the smoke detector going off. Called front desk, the girl was lovely but at 10pm the only solution was for her to pull the smoke detector down. It had been beeping as if the battery needed changing but when she pulled it down it’s hardwired. So she removed it so we could sleep. Not ideal but a solution
All was good.
Front desk was not helpful at all, and the manager is never available!
Was given the wrong room. we booked a kitchenette and was told when we got there There was none available. And they wouldn’t do anything to fix the error. We booked back in May and was told the reservation was only booked the day before. We stayed in Fort Saskatchewan because of the cost of the kitchenette rather than in Edmonton which is where we wanted to be. Tired to get a refund and was refused so we ended up staying out 3 nights booked with wasted food because we didn’t have a kitchenette. Very disappointed with the service here. No care was given for us and we were over 2000kms from home.
The suite was spacious and comfortable
The ensuite bathroom was missing one of the standing shower door so the bathroom gets soaked when you shower.
Service was rude room had lots of damages that was not done by me an they decided to check me out of my room when I paid for 3 more nights still while I was at work they crammed all my things in one bag an threw it in a back room all my toiletries were split all over my clothes I will never ever stay here again
Great stay. Will stay again.
The location is this hotels biggest selling point, as we were at the Shell Theatre all weekend.
The hot tub is out of order indefinitely, it seems. The hotel knew a huge group was booking and yet did not see fit to ensure the breakfast room had enough chairs for the amount of tables, resulting in guests having to stand to eat (and they won't allow you to just take your plate to your room...) The tub stopper did not work for a bath, the pillows are all filled with the lumpy feeling stuffing. It's a mid hotel.
It was a great property, friendly staff, clean rooms. Didnt care for the 300 deposit/hold for one night. Alittle excessive being the room price was half that.
Clean
Convenient and clean.
Hotel has gone a bit downhill since the last time I stayed 2 years ago. Hot tub broken, elevator broken, and the pool was dirty. Service was not terrible, but not what you would expect at a hotel. The only friendly staff were the housekeepers. Breakfast was not the best, waffles, eggs, weird looking bacon, and ... mixed veggies? I also found it strange that breakfast ended at 830 on weekdays. Beds were very comfy though, and rooms were clean.
I was not prepared for this hotel to require a full charge amount for our stay when I have paid through Expedia. As well, front staff were not personable and with check-in provided minimal details on why they needed by card payment and why they were pressing numerous buttons on the atm machine. In check out, I had asked for a copy of all the mastercard statements to ensure that I receive my "full payment deposit", I was refused saying that I will receive my receipt from Expedia only! Our stay was wonderful, breakfast served as great, however, the payment and refusal to provide me with any documentation left me uneasy. Why couldn't I get a printed receipt from their end as well as expedia?
The room was clean. The bed was comfy. There’s a restaurant across the parking lot (Montanas). Check in and out was quick and simple
The customer service here is terrible. The hot tub was down and there weee lights continuously coming lot of the wall inside the pool. The breakfast was not good either. No hot water for my kids to shower in our room after using the pool so they were freezing. It wasn’t a good experience and not at all worth the price of the room for what’s offered or not offered for that matter. Definitely lacking in alot of areas.
Good location. Rooms are big. Beds are comfortable.
The breakfast was very poor. Waffle maker didn’t work . Juice machine didn’t work. Very minimal selection of food. Not what I expect when I book breakfast included in the price . For the price of the room, not worth it .
