Our stay was just superb. All the facilities were fabulous. This property has everything you need for a trip away from home. It’s comfortable and the animals were a highlight. We will be staying here again.

The hosts were so lovely and the property with all its greenery is a retreat but super close to HN village

No breakfast provided but friendliness of hosts and delightfully bucolic location made up for that. Cottages are well set up, spacious and well designed. Lovely to have the llamas and sheep right at the back door!

Loved the cottage we were upgraded to so cosy very comfortable bed outlook wonderful & animals to watch very familiar since we are rural but so convenient & close to amenities.

Amazing place to stay, cosy in the 1 bedroom studio, peaceful to be able to do some work in the evening or just relax. I will certainly be coming back again.

I had my own cabin. Three colleagues in a large one. Well appointed for cooking in their one. A short drive to supermarkets, Bridge Pa golf etc. Very suitable for motorists.

Modern accommodation, comfortable beds. We started with my wife’s parents, and they enjoyed the place too.

The facilities were lovely, perfect accommidation for us & our wee dog. The owners are friendly & helpful.

There was nothing we were unhappy about & would recommend to everyone

Four of us. One in a single cottage, three in a three-bedroom cottage. The single cottage was fine for me. It was comfortable c.ran etc with bathroom and basic tea/coffee etc. The main cottage was very good with suitable facilities for cooking dinners. The washing machine and dryer were in a separate building a few metres away and worked very well. The layout of the whole facility is very nice with patios, lawns etc.Sheep and llamas graze next door. Shops including supermarkets are a couple of minutes away by car. The gentleman host is on site, friendly and helpful.

During the school holidays, the property owner’s child had friends in the shared pool while we were already using it. Their behaviour was noticeably rowdy, raising concerns about the safety of our young children. When we asked them to calm down, one child responded disrespectfully. As a result, I attempted to contact the host to seek assistance in managing the situation. But the next day, other set of friends were there with the child and they were all considerate and kind to share the place.

The beautiful rural surroundings were so peaceful. I particularly enjoyed the mix of rural living and luxuries such as the pool.

Janine and Ryan were great hosts and easy to deal with. The property was fantastic and the kids loved having the cows, sheep and pigs just of the deck! A very cool place to stay with younger children (and big kids too!).

Everything about this property was great. Including the farm animals! Lots of space for kids to play and enjoy the pool. Location was great, close to town but far enough away to enjoy peacefulness.

The modern comfortable studio with all the amenities we needed plus a private yard area. The swimming pool is also great and we loved all the animals on the property. A gem of a place.

The weather! But on the bright side, the cool air temperature made the pool feel warm.

This place is so serene and beautiful. Having sheep and alpacas right outside our window makes it feel incredibly peaceful

I was very excited that we recieved a lovely welcome pack We enjoyed everything but Albert the pig was our highlight and all the animals and the pool not to mention the host was friendly easy to talk to and a good sense of humour. Left us alone while us holidayers talk amongst each other. Definitely coming back.

We had to leave head back home to the south island.

It was great for our extended family group

We were delighted with the cottage, a very quiet relaxing rural setting, all well looked after and a variety of animals which we enjoyed. The cottage was roomy, well equipped and cosy, a large outdoor deck where if sunny and warm would be a pleasant place to relax.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The accomodation we stayed at was superb and up to high standards. Great rooms and space.

We didn't have curtains in the main room/living room and had to cover it ourselves for privacy during the night. The accomodation was honestly amazing and a 10/10. We were amazed by how tidy and modern the place was. Moreover we were very excited at the beginning because it was advertised as pet friendly and we were staying with our dogs. However, after staying and leaving the property we were shocked by one of the staff's reaction and the way she communicated with us. We stayed with our two golden retrievers which prior to booking, I rang and asked about their pet policy and made it known that we have two goldens. Pet accidents are always expected and we did try our best to clean up - we also couldn't control the fact that our dogs shed a lot. We were called by one of the staff numerous times about trashing the place and letting the dogs on the bed etc when we never did - it was just their fur that probably got on the bed unintentionally. They advertised as pet friendly but we were told "if I had known your dogs were going to trash the place I wouldn't have welcomed you". We were told police were going to get involved and that we would have to pay extra for the mess we left which we didn't mind but what was disappointing was how the staff communicated to me, very rude and disrespectful. If she had just mentioned in the beginning that we needed to pay extra, we would have in an instance. Instead she talked about involving the police, banning me on all accomodation websites etc. In my opinion, don't advertise as pet friendly when dogs aren't even tolerated. Accidents can happen and its not intended by pet owners. In the first place, I did ring before making a booking and was told there was no pet policy except for having them on lead outside.

A lovely studio in a beautiful spot! Comfy bed, well appointed kitchen area, warm shower with great pressure, and lovely hosts. A really perfect dog friendly spot! We will definitely be back next time we are in Hawkes Bay 😊

Love this place. We have stayed numerous times. Close to Hastings and Havelock. Love having all the farm animals on your doorstep

Amazing location between Havelock North and Hastings, all the charm of being out on the farm with town just 2 mins down the road. We stayed in Cottage One and Five and it was great either having the big lawn (Cottage One) or the Paddock (Cottage Five) right on our doorstep. Janine was a great host! and Allen (the pig) was very welcoming and very good at checking in to see if he could help clear any food scraps for us.

Lovely private cottage, I stayed in #2 (2 brm) ., Kitchenette well equipped. Clean. Hosts very friendly. Electric blanket appreciated.

It was a frosty Hawkes Bay weekend and the little heat pump in the lounge struggled to keep it warm; lucky the electric blankets were cozy

Cottages on St Andrews is in a great location to access the Hastings and Havelock North area. The property is not on a main road so nice and quiet so you can relax. This is my second time staying here for business and I will be back.

The unit we stayed in had everything we required very well equipped. Allan the kune kune pig was friendly, loved the animals here. I enjoyed a stroll down to the Havelock North shops as it was so close.

There was nothing not to like

Loved the location. Easy fast check in was good. And was a beautiful room

Woke up in the morning and the heat pump was not working. The power points were not working so it was cold and I could not have a hot drink not could I cook my breakfast. My alarm did not go off as a result of the power points not working my phone did not charge. I was late to an important appointment which I could not attend because of being late. when I asked for a refund I was only given 50 dollars back out of 160?!

Location was close to where I needed to be for work. Stunning views to wake up.
