There was only one pack of cookies, two would've been good and just a side note - choc chip or shortbread are the best - ginger cookies not so nice ! 😊 But thank you all the same 😊

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Great location close to an assortment of eating and shopping facilities within walking distance.
Room 5 was too close to the noisy main road for our ages 75 and 78 years old. We left for an early breakfast date with friends in Waipatu 8.00 a.m. as we neede to travel to Taupō for a 1.00 p.m. appointment. This was because of long queues and traffic delays due to roadworks on the Taupo / Napier highway we encojntered on Friday. I left the room keys in the room as you didn't have a deposit box outside the office for our early exit.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2026The cleaning staff was very cooperative with our wishes and good at their job. The manager was quick with responding when something broke down in our kitchen. We love the picknick table and parasol in front of our room, it was well used. Motel is in the middle of town across the street from a New World Supermarket, very handy but also easy to go to all other places around Hawkes bay. Very comfortable time spend there.
Everything was as we wished for..
