Accueil un peu tard if (20:30) bof, depuis le bar. On a du chercher nos chambres pour les trouver. Rien de merchant mais pas super accueillant…

Struttura super datata. Asciugamani super consumati, piscina lontana dal corpo centrale della struttura.

J’ai adoré le cadre, luxuriant et riche en faune ! La piscine est super. Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner aussi.

Les chambres et sanitaires sont un peu vétustes. Et surtout : je me suis retrouvée seule a partager ma chambre avec un homme pour la nuit, ils pourraient être vigilants à ne pas faire ça.

Rooms are very basic very tired and things need fixing we had a toilet door that you had to wiggle to lock as it was rubbish and a draw that was locked that you couldn't open and the hanging space wasn't wide enough to hang anything on. I cant say if rooms were clean as they were that tired it was hard to distinguish. Worst for me was the staff they never smiled even though we went out of our way to be polite and say please and thank you all the time they just looked at you or straight through you. I purposely smiled at one lady walking toward and she turned around and walked the other way! The breakfast was also very basic oh and the pool wasnt clean it was murky and the man sat in the shade area not sure if he was life guard or bar man slept or stayed on his phone all the time as did the ladie.

Un sitio con mucho encanto. Nuestra habitación era antigua, pero cumplía con lo justo. El restaurante lo mejor, sitio encantador y buena comida.

Bardzo nam się podobał pobyt w Sepilok Jungle Resort, pokój był czysty, ręczniki również, świetny balkon z widokiem na jungle i basen. Jednego dnia widzieliśmy orangutany przy hotelu, świetne przeżycie. Jedzenie droższe, ale bardzo smaczne. Otoczenie cudowne, na tym nam zależało, bliskość natury, można obserwować przyrodę. Zorganizowali nam również wspaniałą wycieczkę nad rzekę Kinabatangan, świetna organizacja, a także zamówili bilety na autobus do Semporny. Bardzo polecam, wszystkim miłośnikom przyrody!!!!

Twardy materac.

A escasos minutos andando de dos atractivos de Borneo. Los orangutanes y los sunbear. El personal de recepción nos organizó las visitas por la zona con gran diligencia.

El resort está en plena selva y tiene una piscina súper chula. Dentro del propio resort vimos un orangután cosa que no vimos ni en el propio centro de orangutanes. El desayuno muy sencillo y mejor ir a primera hora. Está a 5 minutos andando del centro de orangutanes y del de osos, se puede ir caminando sin problemas

Hay perros callejeros que están por el recinto y la verdad hay carteles por todos lados diciendo que son peligrosos, aunque no nos hicieron nada sí que estábamos en tensión al encontrarnoslos.

I loved that place. The place is so nice and quiet. They have night walking tours. a lot of wild life going around the resort. Spotted one orangutan from the swimming pool. Breakfast was okay.

Ubicación: en medio de la selva, al lado del centro de recuperación de orangutanes y osos y a 20 minutos andando del rainforest.

Instalaciones muy obsoletas. La habitación daba miedo: baño que apestaba a humedad, con un extractor que hacía un ruido terrible. Las fotos de la habitación no reflejan la realidad. No hay aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador de pared. Las zonas comunes en especial la piscina, están completamente abandonadas (la piscina tenía varias fugas de agua, estaba sucia, las pocas hamacas que había estaban rotas). El restaurante muy básico. No se puede justificar con nada, el estado ruinoso de las instalaciones del hotel en general.

The breakfast was pretty good. The pool was great and not that busy. The surroundings are nice. It’s walking distance to the attractions.

The restaurant food was uninspiring. The portion sizes varied and even the same meal ordered twice came out different. The restaurant staff were not so friendly. The facilities are older but still okay.

È un resort stupendo, offre tanti servizi , tra cui la piscina, anche solo per una passeggiata è bellissimo vedere il laghetto con le carpe o tartarughe ,il bar ristorante è fantastico. Anche la zona souvenir abbiamo trovato tante cose carine.

Lo staff non era accogliente, direi quasi infastidito dalle richieste , attenzione se dovete lavare i vestiti Ve li fanno pagare al pezzo. La stanza era anonima un po' vecchia con coperte da bambini vecchie minuscola le tazze a disposizione sporche non ci ritornerei solo per la camera.

Todo lo de alrededor es precioso, la localización que gracias a ello pudimos ver muchos monos y un orangután en el propio resort. La piscina, y el recorrido del resort

La habitación dejaba un poco que desear y el baño más pero por el precio creo que está bastante aceptable. El restaurante del hotel es caro para lo que se espera de Sabah pero está dentro del completo entonces es entendible.

Lo mejor la ubicación, el entorno salvaje, es una especie de parque.Tiene servicio de cena hasta las 21:00, y tenia refrescos frios. Te encontrabas con orangutanes. Y salida de excursiones a todos los parques. La piscina se agradece en estos lugares con tanta calor.

Lo unico malo las almohadas bastante duras

La cama no era muy comoda

A beautiful place among nature. You won’t find luxuries here but very authentic place with beautiful surroundings. A very nice owner offered us passion fruits😋 after dinner. Thank you 😊

Breakfast options were quite limited.

La posizione in quanto la struttura è immersa nella giungla. Il ristorante è buono. Posto perfetto per stare massimo una notte e vedere i parchi che sono vicinissimi alla struttura

La nostra camera era ad un piano seminterrato senza quasi affaccio e con una finestra che dava sulle scale. Tutta la camera e il relativo mobilio erano molto vecchi e non danno una sensazione di pulito.

En la habitación sin aire acondicionado no se puede estar, tuvimos que cambiar a una con aire acondicionado.

The location is perfect for access to the Orangutan and Sunbear conservation centres and the Rainforest Discovery centre. The gardens are full of flowers and birds and even an orangutan. The staff are incredibly helpful.

Needs a bit of an upgrade

Les chambres sont grandes propres et dans la jungle. Suffisant pour passer un sejour de quelques jours à la decouverte de sepilok. Nous avons passé un bon sejour et recommandons cet établissement!

The property is very evocative because it's immersed in the tropical forest, so even just spending some time in its spaces, by the pool, or on the walkways connecting the various parts of the resort, you can have an encounter with nature. We encountered an orangutan, several beautiful birds, and a snake, all just by being there. The property is much larger than we had imagined; it has a system of walkways over the lake and through the jungle that lead to the pool and the various rooms. Outside, you can easily reach the bear sanctuary and the orangutan sanctuary on foot in five minutes. You can also reach the Rain Forest, but it requires a longer walk of about 20 minutes. The property offers every type of service and can arrange anything you need. The management may be Chinese, but it certainly is in its efficiency. Yes, it's a useful base if you want to do anything without too much personal effort; they'll help you with everything. The staff is mostly friendly, some a little cold, but unfortunately, I've found this standard throughout Malaysia. They also organize a night walk in the jungle, which we did, and it was very nice. The guide was very knowledgeable. Breakfast is a buffet and is plentiful; other meals aren't as generous, but overall, they were quite good. Compared to the rest of Malaysia, prices here are generally higher. The luxury of staying in such a well-organized and meticulously managed facility, even in the jungle, comes at a slightly above-average price for everything. Our standard room was very standard. If available, it's best to choose one with air conditioning. There was a fan, however, and we made do with that. In any case, they knew the room only had a fan and was relatively inexpensive. The pool is a little dated and there are few loungers, but it's fine. It's already a privilege to have one here in Borneo at a reasonable price, and it offers excellent refuge during the hours of the exhausting heat.

La ubicación cerca de las principales reservas de animales de Sepilok.

Desde la llegada se aprecia un estado deteriorado de las instalaciones de todo el hotel. La piscina estaba caliente, sucia y claramente descuidada. El restaurante contaba con cuatro camareras que no mostraban el más mínimo interés en servir, ni te miraban a la cara cuando hablabas y no paraban de mirar el móvil. El personal, en líneas generales, dejaba mucho que desear. La habitación: con aire acondicionado funcionaba a medias. No enfriaba la habitación. La cama estaba completamente deformada y la ducha salía a baja potencia.

La struttura è molto suggestiva perché è immersa nella foresta tropicale e quindi anche solo trascorrendo un po' di tempo nei suoi ambienti, in piscina o sulle passerelle che collegano le varie parti del resort si possono fare incontri con la natura, noi abbiamo incontrato un Orango, diversi uccelli bellissimi e un serpente il tutto semplicemente per il solo fatto di trovarsi lì. La struttura è molto più grande di quanto l'avessimo immaginata, ha infatti un sistema di passerelle sul lago e nella giungla che porta alla piscina e alle varie stanze. All'esterno a piedi si raggiungono comodamente in cinque minuti la riserva degli orsetti e quella degli Orango, si può raggiungere anche la Rain Forest, ma ci vuole una passeggiata più lunghetta di circa 20 minuti. La struttura offre ogni tipo di servizio e può organizzare per voi qualunque cosa vogliate, la gestione forse è Cinese, sicuramente lo è nell'efficienza. Sì tratta di una base d'appoggio utile se volete fare qualunque cosa senza troppi sforzi personali, vi aiuteranno con tutto. Il personale è per lo più gentile, qualcuno un po' freddo, ma l ho riscontrato in tutta la Malesia purtroppo questo standard. Organizzano anche una passeggiata notturna nella giungla che abbiamo fatto ed è stata molto carina, la guida era molto preparata. La colazione è a buffet ed è abbondante gli altri pasti non sono molto abbondanti, ma nel complesso abbastanza buoni. Rispetto al resto della Malesia in generale qui i prezzi sono più alti, il lusso di essere in una struttura così ben organizzata e gestita al dettaglio seppure nella giungla si paga con prezzi un po' sopra la media un po' su tutto. La nostra stanza standard era proprio standard. Se disponibile meglio sceglierne una con aria condizionata, comunque c'era il ventilatore e ce lo siamo fatti bastare e in ogni caso sapevano che la stanza aveva solo il ventilatore e costava relativamente poco.

Fare pagare lo spray per le zanzare quasi dieci euro nella giungla è un po' troppo... Compratelo prima

Zwembad was erg goed. Ik vond alleen de bedden iets minder fijn op de slaapzaal en het was erg enorm warm omdat er geen airco hing, althans enkel een ventilator.

De ventilator was niet voldoende tegen de warmte die er hing.

Die Lage zu den Rehabilitations Zentren. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind super nett und hilfsbereit!

Es könnte ein absolutes Juwel sein, was es wohl auch mal war. Jetzt ist es aber komplett in die Jahre gekommen und wir auch nicht mehr richtig instand gehalten. Die Zimmer sind ganz schön heruntergekommen. Die Betten sind unbequem und mit sehr schlechter Bettwäsche. Es würde nicht viel kostet, hier etwas zu verbessern. Enttäuscht hat außerdem das Personal beim Essen. Selten so unmotivierte und unfreundliche Menschen wie hier erlebt.

Great location near the RDC and Sun Bears. Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Saw an orangutang by the pool!

It’s very hot and you need to pay for water. But if you are fine with the heat it’s really no big deal.

This is our second time visiting the jungle resort. The location is beautiful and a very short walk to the animal sanctuaries. This time we brought another family with us and they loved it too.

This is no 5*resort but it doesn't claim to be. Embrace the jungle experience and know what you see in the pictures is what you get.

A great location and jungle feel to the hotel. Central dining area was lovely and had some nice touches such as the terrapin pool and we even saw an Orangutan on the roof of the lodge.

The pool - it has so much potential and is in a lovely setting but was very dirty. There was a grime mark all round the pool tile edge and the water was too warm and didn't feel clean. Such a shame as with a little attention here it would be an incredible pool facility.

De plus, le buffet est copieu et très bon et le personnel au petits soins. Le levé de soleil est incroyable depuis la berge. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour et recommandons cet établissement!

Posizione a pochi passi dai centri degli oranghi e degli orsi. Immerso nella giungla. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di vedere un orango proprio davanti al nostro balcone della stanza.

La stanza non era pronta all'orario del check in previsto. Abbiamo dovuto attendere e poi ci è stata data una camera con upgrade. Piscina che chiude troppo presto.

Seeing orangutans, snakes and birds in the grounds

The property was very beautiful and very close to the main attractions.

The bedsheet were not very clean and the pool wasn’t clean as well.

Está rodeado de naturaleza y tuvimos la suerte de poder fotografiar a un orangután a escasos metros del restaurante del hotel. Un lujazo!

The location is amazing! If you are looking for a jungle vibe place to stay this is it. Upon arrival I could already see the monkeys in the trees, there was even an Orangutan with her baby that came to visit. There are beautiful birds and squirrels. I stayed in the dorm which was perfectly fine.

Be prepared that your room might not be super close to the reception or that the swimming pool might be a bit of a walk. Honestly very beautiful surrounding, so not a bother to me, but good to be aware of. The shower was not the best as there was very little water pressure, but it got the job done.

Very good location. Close to the orangutan and sunbear sanctuaries and has one of the few restaurants in Sepilok connected to it. Pool was also a great feature. Allowed me to sit and chill, while watching the macaques, and occasional orangutan move about in the jungle. Most importantly the staff are absolutely incredible. They helped me book the Kinabatangan river cruise for a future date, and sorted out a bus to Semporna when it appeared that all transport was booked out for a few days. I didn’t ask them to do this, but they went above and beyond anyway which I really appreciated. They even said ensured that I was collected from Sepilok. While I was in Semporna they kept in contact with me to make sure I was OK and that I was fine making it back to the resort to start the cruise. They were sensational.

No AC in the dorm, but the fan done an adequate job anyway. So wasn’t a huge deal.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits, l'extérieur est très agréable malgré une piscine pas très bien entretenue. Le plus, nous avons eu la chance de voir un orang-outan et beaucoup d'autres animaux.

L emplacement de l hôtel est idéal pour visiter les centre de réhabilitation des oran outangs et celui des ours malais. Il est situé dans un écrin de verdure avec un lac. Le cadre est magnifique. La piscine est sympa.

La chambre que nous avons eue etait très sommaire avec 2 lits 1 personne qui ont déjà bien trop vécu, les ressorts dans le dos très désagréable. La piscine Le pourrait être top mais elle a vraiment besoin d un coup de neuf car tout est sérieusement défraîchi. Le personnel est H24 sur le téléphone portable et manque de chaleur.

Hotel in posizione eccellente e con giardini tropicali bellissimi, che ti danno un meraviglioso senso di pace già all' arrivo. Le camere erano pulite (ho soggiornato in una Deluxe e una standard). Consiglio il soggiorno qui per la comodità e vicinanza ai centri di Sepilok.

Le camere sono trascurate e un po' tutto l'hotel avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione totale perché è un peccato lasciare andare così una struttura con così tanto potenziale.

Había monos por todas partes, la piscina estaba bien y la comida muy buena.

La struttura è in una zona comoda per raggiungere le attrazioni del luogo a piedi

La camera non era pulita, il materasso aveva le molle che ti puntavano sulla schiena, avevamo ragnatele e ragni in bagno, il wc perdeva ogni volta che tiravi lo sciacquone e l’odore di fogna era persistente. Lo staff è stato poco cordiale, sia quello alla reception che soprattutto quello del ristorante.

El horario de la piscina es demasiado reducido, imposible poder aprovecharla si sales hacer cosas.

Resort molto carino ad un prezzo molto basso rispetto ad altri nella zona.

La posizione è ottima, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal Sepilok Conservation Center. Abbiamo cenato e pranzato al ristorante in loco, dato che non ci sono altre opzioni nelle vicinanze. Il cibo era abbastanza buono. Possibilità di vedere scimmie dall’hotel.

Gli asciugamani erano sporchi e per raggiungere la nostra stanza dovevamo attraversare un’area riservata allo staff, dove le lenzuola erano appese al soffitto.

La struttura è fantastica, proprio in mezzo alla giungla. Si mangia bene e lo staff è molto disponibile.

L'unica opzione rimasta per dormire era il dormitorio: unica pecca è che, nonostante le ventole faceva caldissimo e abbiamo fatto fatica a dormire

The fact that it is in nature.

Lovely rustic resort with gorgeous views of the jungle lakes, great flora and fauna all around. Great for travellers and families with older children (perhaps not babies though). We even spotted wild orangutans in the trees! Also very close to the sanctuaries - literally a 4 min walk. Food was ok for a couple of days.

Part of the children's swimming pool was not safe. There is a slide that had rusty parts on it, my son injured himself quite badly on this, cutting his foot very deep, and needed antibiotics as well as 6 days of bandaging. The staff were helpful in getting us medical centre details, but when I asked them to close the slide so other children wouldn't get hurt, they did not seem to think this was necessary. I recognise this isn't a luxury resort but am still disappointed at the lax safety rules for small children

The location is amazing...Close to the main attractions. The property is beautiful with lots of nice walks nearby. Beautiful birds and jungle sounds. Staff is very pleasant.

Our room was not comfortable. We chose a fan room. Not sure if other rooms are any better. The bed and pillows were tough and uncomfortable. Breakfast was uninspiring. The WiFi did not work in the room. Got way better rooms in Malaysia before for less money. Also the pool looked like it needed a scrub. In general we found the property to be beautiful but a little run down.

La localisation est superbe, on peut faire la rdc a pied et le sanctuaire des oràgs outans et ours également. Les chambres sont standard, cest pas le luxe, les extérieurs sont splendides donc ca efface me côté "vétuste"

Pas de restaurant aux alentours, le restaurant sur place est correct mais on fait vite le tour sur 3 jours et 2 nuits. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais peu varié et en quantité limite.

Amazing location as previously said and the night walk was great, which was extra bit very useful if you’re in the jungle as sometimes the river cruises will cancel due to bad weather.

The place is very old and run down, it seems like no money has been invested in the place in about 50 years despite the cost of the rooms.

La posizione completamente immersa nella giungla, un giorno abbiamo avuto anche un Orango come ospite sulla pianta davanti alla nostra finestra.

Non sappiamo cosa dire circa questo punto. Se proprio proprio dobbiamo scrivere qualcosa essendo italiani la pulizia non è paragonabile alla nostra ma comunque molto pulito

de kamer was echt heel oud. veel ongedierten ( enorme kieren bij de deuren), extreem zacht bed, wel airco geen warmwater. Er was veel lawaai overlast vanaf de gang. onze kamer stonk extreem naar riool en was de reden voor eerder vertrek.

The location was great - a few minutes walk to the orangutan and sun bear centres and a short Grab ride away from the Rainforest Discovery Centre. The setting is also very cool with lots of walkways over huge ponds, with amazing plants all around. The food was good but not spectacular, but you need to remember you're in the rainforest in a pretty remote location and manage your expectations. There are a couple of nearby resorts with restaurants that you can use too, so we mixed it up a bit. The pool was a huge bonus for cooling off after some very hot day trips, and we even had an orangutan swing by the pool area and then right outside our balcony - an amazing sight. The rooms were great and we had two connecting rooms to accommodate our family of four. There was an issue to begin with because I had requested rooms next door to each other, but we weren't originally assigned rooms next to each other, even though one of our assigned rooms was a connecting room. The team - Imelda and Aida I think - sorted it out though and we were moved to the interconnecting rooms, which was a great help because our kids were not feeling great at that point.

Make sure you request interconnecting rooms for a family group. We had a double and a twin.

L'hôtel est vraiment en pleine jungle. Ouraoutan qui se balade... Un régal pour la famille. L'emplacement est intéressant puisque il est proche des activités animalière. La piscine est un vrai plus avec les grosses chaleurs de 14h.

Le petit déjeuner un peu trop basic/rustique/répétitif... Les matelas ne sont pas des plus confortables.

Kamer enorm basic. Geen gordijntjes en dus privacy, bedden vallen bijna uit elkaar. Maar 1 ventilator voor de gehele kamer, dat is te weinig. Geen lockers Prijs/kwaliteit volledig uit verhouding

Proximitat al centre de rehabilitació d’orangutans. Des de l’hotel vam fer el nightwalk tour (1,5h) 25RM per persona i molt bé.

Allotjament i lavabo justet. L’esmorzar poc occidental.

Gostei da localização perto do santuário de orangotangos e ursos do sol. Gostei da piscina e da disposição do resort com pequenas pontes e lagos e da varanda do quarto.

A limpeza da piscina é duvidosa, havia marcas de sujidade nos azulejos da piscina e as casas de banho de apoio à piscina estavam num estado de abandono, também não viam limpeza há muito tempo.

Dirty rooms, everything not well maintained, unkind staff (except for the girl at the reception), very basic breakfast.

Beautiful jungle setting. Rooms had aircon and were comfortable. Saw an orangutan in the resort area on 2 occasions. Close to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation and Sun Bears

The whole place had a neglected air to it. The swimming pool was very soupy. With a slick of grease around the whole waterline. Very few loungers and pool area and toilets need a good scrub and renovation. Its a shame because the setting and layout of the resort is magical. The Banana Cafe could lift its game in terms of friendliness and helpfulness of SOME staff.

Het bed viel tegen. Sterk verouderd en enorm doorgelegen. Ook airco deed het niet en zwembad was slecht onderhouden/vies. Gelukkig wel van kamer kunnen wisselen.

De kamer was bar slecht!! Oud en vies.

The resort is located on the jungle. The walk ways had beautiful views. The orangutans came within touching distance!

The resort is a little ‘jaded’ but still beautiful. Tom’s were clean and comfortable. Food was good. The staff worked long hours and were not attentive and often slightly off hand.

Fantastická lokalita pro návštěvu záchranných stanic. K dispozici pěkný bazén a hezké venkovní prostředí.

Pokoj zastaralý pouze s malým větrákem, koupelna zrezlá s šíleně hlučným větrákem. Na zdi u pokoje lezli mravenci. V okolí nejsou restaurace, takže musíte platit předraženou restauraci uvnitř resortu.

Buena ubicación para ver los orangutanes 🦧, el entorno es precioso y debió ser un buen hotel hace tiempo, ahora necesita una actualización urgente.

Poco actualizado, personal poco agradable y comida mediocre. En general se queda muy justo.

L’emplacement un vrai plus, à 10 min à pied des centres oran outang et ours. Nous avons vu des oran outangs à la piscine de l’hôtel ainsi que d’autres singes et King Fisher. Le restaurant un délice, les meilleures noodles de mon séjour en Malaisie.

La salle de bain vieillissante. Le manque de transat à la piscine.

Mooie deluxe kamers, goede ligging op loopafstand van het Orang-Oetan Rehabilitation Centre. Uitstekend eten voor een goede prijs.

Piscina pubblica ben tenuta. Stanza spaziosa. Doccia ben separata dal resto del bagno. Letti comodi.

Excellent location, swimming pool, excellent value for money, has a travellers / backpackers vibe, banana cafe does good lunch and diner.

Breakfast was disappointing and needs a rethink, very limited. Maybe start charging and have menu options. Like other reviews the hotel is need of a full revamp and showing its age [has the potential to be great if money is invested]

Location is good in Sepilok.

Very tired and run down, mattress is horrible, no sheets for the bed only an old rag blanket.

Le lieu dans la jungle, la proximité immédiate avec le centre de réhabilitation des orang-outans, le restaurant (petit dej sommaire). Espaces communes agréables, la piscine dans un bel endroit mais mal entretenue

Le lavabo dans la douche dont la porte était cassée, les fourmis dans la chambre, le petit dej un peu trop simpliste, l'eau de la piscine saumatre, et la fermeture de l'espace piscine trop tot a 17h30
