I’m happy to share my experience at La Carmela de Boracay. The vacation exceeded all expectations and the hotel left a very positive impression overall 🌴. Breakfasts were included and, while simple, they were always tasty and filling. There were always lemonades, iced water, tea and coffee available. Every day there was watermelon, either red or yellow, which was especially refreshing in the heat 🍉. I was genuinely surprised by the low rating of this hotel online. The price–quality ratio here is excellent, and for this cost the conditions are more than decent. If you only look at the most expensive hotels, you may end up not traveling at all, and this place proves that a great vacation doesn’t have to be overpriced. The staff deserves special mention. They are extremely kind, friendly and hardworking. Always ready to help, always busy improving the hotel and the territory. All maintenance and improvements are done quietly and carefully. The atmosphere is very warm: staff greet you, smile, and sometimes even sing 🎶. The hotel is relatively new, the pool and territory are always clean, and the staff works around the clock. The location is one of the biggest advantages — right in the center of everything, close to all main развлечions, shops and restaurants. It can be a bit noisy at times because of the pool and kids, but nothing unbearable. The sea is beautiful 🌊. Sometimes there are seaweeds, but you can easily walk along the beach and find a clean spot. The sand is fine and soft, and if you want a “Maldives-like” view, it’s worth walking between Station 1 and Station 2. I also highly recommend the Japanese restaurant Hama and the coconut ice cream at Coco Mama 🥥🍦. Don’t miss trying fresh mangosteen and mango from the local market. There is also Save You More Market nearby, which is very convenient. This was one of those places you truly don’t want to leave. I recommend not listening to overly picky reviews. If you’re not looking for a 5-star luxury resort with fans waving over you, but want comfort, a great location and a friendly atmosphere, this hotel is an excellent choice for its price 👍.
It’s definitely budget-friendly, and the beachfront location is a big plus—perfect if you want to stay in Station 2 without spending too much. But let’s talk about the old main building. It really needs some repairs. The windows are worn out, some bathroom tiles are dated, the safe box wasn’t reliable, and overall, the room felt tired. I genuinely wondered—why is there no complimentary coffee, tea, toothbrush, or even lotion? These are basic hotel amenities, especially for travelers staying more than a night. Food wasn't as great as before. Staff were okay and the hotel does its job if you’re just here to sleep and spend most of your time outside. So yes, La Carmela is affordable and well-located—but if you’re looking for comfort or a refreshed room, manage your expectations.
Dear La Carmela de Boracay Team, Thank you very much for the warm hospitality during our stay. My family and I truly appreciate the care and kindness we received throughout our visit. I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. Danica from the Front Office and Mark from Housekeeping for their exceptional assistance. Your professionalism, patience, and genuine service made our stay more comfortable and meaningful. We are sincerely grateful for everything you have done for us. Thank you once again for making our stay special. We hope to return in the future. Warm regards John Albert Ortega
We had room 224. The overall staff service was great. We got to check in early and whenever we needed more toilet paper, the staff was very nice and gave us more. The hotel room was clean. Unfortunately during the stay, there were a lot of cockroaches (ipis) and we had to kill at least 3 a day. The location was great as it was the center of station 2. It was walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and shopping.
Really enjoyed the stay. Could literally walk out of the hotel onto the beach. Two small but nice, very clean pools. Breakfast had good selection, but quality a bit variable for Western tastes.
I booked our family in this hotel for 5 adults last Sept 25-26 but due to typhoon it was cancelled. I had another booking in a separate hotel which was Mandarin Island Hotel and there and then we had an amazing experience but why? Because La Carmela was just awe full and terrible when they knew that the vessels has been cancelled and suspended for few days and no one is allowed to travel to the island. So I had been calling them 4-6x a day before that day and been asking what ifs, since we cannot travel due to typhoon. Someone on the call from La Carmela advised that I can rebook one time within 30days if the vessel cancellation has not been lifted yet. And I said I dont know when will I rebook yet or what travel dates to rebook it. So I said I will call back but the next day the land fall came and all signals were affected and we also had blackouts although my calls were ringing to La Carmela but nobody answered or even called me back. So I decided to call Agoda since I booked through them and was advised that they will cancel and request for a refund but they are not able to reach them as well that day. So the next day, 26th me and my spouse separate hotel was good enough to rebook us there right away so we went to boracay since the cancellation of vessels were lifted and storm calmed already, we spent the night and just enjoyed our stay. Then on the 28th I tried to call La Carmela in the morning again and still no answer. So we decided to go there and just talked to reservations and to our shock, they said our reservations for our family has been forfeited and they said they dont know who advised me that I can rebook within 30days??? So it took about almost 2hrs waiting and arguing with them and we got tired and asked for manager but the supervisor Christy said to contact agoda and she gave us her number. We were so angry since we have errands to run to that day and we had been stuck dealing with them personally and just to be given a false information. They know that all boats are cancelled and they keep asking me again and again and I had to tell the story again and again and show my email confirmation and agoda response. It was just terrible. But just when we are on the boat back to Caticlan, the supervisor called and said that its ok and we can rebook the dates already. And asking if we are going to add another night, I said we will think about it. But we used that one night rebooking for the kids and my mom and turns out they hate it. They hate this place, the food and everything. Not good! Not friendly staffs either. Base on our experience. And the rooms are terrible and ugly. Yes its very cheap for family but we wont mind paying extra on other hotels if we get the right service. Thanks but no thanks to La Carmela its a BIG NEVER AGAIN!!!
They are excellent
Hotel was nice and friendly. Staff was on top of their game 24/7. Only complaints I have is this. First: that the WiFi only reached to the lobby and was worthless on the 3rd floor. Not impressed. Second: the breakfast was crap. The “protein” offered was hotdogs, fried fish heads and menudo. Every single day. You gotta keep it fresh and different at least every other day. As an American who LOVES Filipino food, I wished we had other breakfast stuffs like tocino, longanisa, even some fried baloney wouldn’t hurt. There was some other good breakfast stuffs but the protein is the most important along with rice of course. Lastly: it seems like trying to swim in the onsite pools were a headache. They wanted you to wash off in the wash area and if you’re a guy you can’t wear a shirt. Which is wrong and not fair to men who may or may not be self conscious. These listed items need improvement and to be refined for an absolute wonderful perfect week long stay in the most beautiful and coveted island in all of the Philippines. On a plus, the air on was awesome. Kept the room nice and cool all day long.
This is the 2nd time we stayed at La Carmela (the first one was 2012) and we are amazed that the hotel is now larger than before, with a separate building added. Our check-in was smooth around I guess almost 6pm-ish and seamless, and I was hoping that the rest of our stay will be. I usually ask for the hotel room to be cleaned for each day I am staying especially the bathroom because I want it to be fresh when I got back as well as the toiletries replenished. Unfortunately, just right after our first night, the following day when we got back from our beach activity in the afternoon, we found a plastic with the hotel sheet with a note that we are being charged for the Henna stain on the sheet. But none of us had henna tattoo. We complained of course and were horrified because we might have slept in soiled and used sheets when we checked in. We asked for the supervisor who couldn’t give us a direct answer and even suggested that we inspect the room when the room is being cleaned (honestly, I don’t even understand how she even suggested that. How are we supposed to enjoy our stay if we are doing their job for them?). Anyway, they said that they would investigate, and the manager came back apologizing and re-assuring us that we used clean and newly laundered sheets. She also admitted that they use “used” sheets but assure that they are newly laundered and that the cleaning guy took it upon himself to charge us when he shouldn’t have. The manager stated that there is another manager who inspects the sheets to determine if the guests need to be charged and she said the “clearly this is an old stained sheet” and that their staff is mistaken. While the manager was apologetic and seems to sound convincing (that our sheets were clean in the first place), we somehow felt maltreated and victimized. She did offer to upgrade our room but somehow, we are already settled where we are (and it will take time to fix all our stuff which we don’t have and would rather save the time for enjoyment). The hotel was also generous to offer a free buffet breakfast on the last day but we already have plans on eating out. While we appreciate the complimentary being offered to us, I must be honest that this incident has already affected our experience negatively. As a result, we have decided not to have our room serviced for the remainder of our stay. We just asked for new towels, toiletries etc to be delivered to our room. The stay was not at all that bad. Let’s review the breakfast. During the first morning, we opted for the plated breakfast and believe me it didn’t disappoint. We opted for this since we have an island tour and will be having unli buffet lunch. During the 2nd day we opted for the buffet breakfast for additional fee, and while there isn’t much choices, I believe the buffet menu was still generous given the price. As for the sleep value, I guess we did sleep pretty well and the bed is comfy. And I believe they are one of the hotels with the best smelling shampoos I have ever tried. The staff as well are very accommodating and polite. Except for “that” which has happened to us on the second day, our stay would have been perfect.
I had a trip with family in la Carmela... It's good that it's very accessible to beach area that you can reach in few seconds.
I came to Boracay to unwind, relax and spend my time with family... it's good thing it's easy to beach resort since it's near
Staying 4 nights of this hotel with my Family It's a recommended hotel and affordable place to stay right in front of the beach of station 3 where you can relax and enjoy the sunrise and spectacular sunser. We Enjoyed a dinner buffet while watching their signature fire dance.
Not clean
Besch front hotel. We really enjoy swimming pools and the fire dance during dinner buffet. We breakfast buffet is also a plus 💯 Special mention to Rizza of Front Desk for accommodating us. The staff are friendly and courteous.
Standard room in main building, wifi non existent and constantly disconnected, rooms had no side table lamps, or even a side table for one of the beds. Breakfast buffet provided limited options. One of the rooms had a windo facing a wall... Rooms generally very dark with a small tv and very poor signal, was not even able to connect laptop.
the only downside is the wifi. nice staff. kudos to Eric from HK and all the staff in the Breakfast buffet new wing. Jessa who is so attentive to the guests. a nice stay. you got what you paid for. it feels safe during oir stay and its more important.
Really nice place to stay near to the beach & enjoyed our stayed here staff are really good.
It was what i said...
N
Breakfast needs a lot of improvement Bigger plates More buffet tables So the guests doesn’t need to queue.
Six of my family members stayed here from March 18 to 20, and I'm writing this on their behalf. All of them are senior citizens, two of whom are balikbayan. The only decent thing during their stay was the food. Still, this is not enough to make up for La Carmela de Boracay's abominable customer service and subpar rooms—insects crawling, water from the shower gushing out —causing one of my uncles to use the towels in their room to keep the toilet floor from being completely flooded. They were then initially charged P2,700 for three towels, and settled on P1,000 not after a lengthy discussion which caused my family to almost miss their flight to their next destination. GUESTS (PAYING CUSTOMERS AT THAT!) DO NOT DESERVE TO GO THROUGH SUCH STRESS AND INCONVENIENCE, especially the older ones. My relatives are beyond disappointed, especially with how they were dealt with by the management. WILL NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.
Customer service
Best value.
Worst hotel in boracay based on our experience, we got 2 family room , the one we stayed doesn’t have ventilation at all, the windows is blocked by other building, the room was so smelly, The tv and the remote itself are not working the same with the other room our TV had to be replaced by an old one which also has a remote problem And the sad part is no wifi at all but we were given a password too use for nothing...we were very very dissapointed Not coming back to this hotel AGAIN...
The pillow is a bit high but overall stay was great... Food and Service were both commendable... Staff are friendly too... I asked my family as well if they are willing to stay again here in case we would travel again and they said yes... Keep it Up!
La Carmela de Boracay is a popular beachfront resort located on Station 2 of the famous White Beach in Boracay, Philippines. Known for its affordable rates, convenient location, and family-friendly amenities, it’s a favorite choice for budget-conscious travelers who want easy access to the island’s attractions without sacrificing comfort. 1. Location The location of La Carmela de Boracay is one of its strongest selling points. Situated on Station 2, it’s right in the heart of the island, giving guests easy access to Boracay’s most famous spots. White Beach, with its powdery sand and crystal-clear waters, is just a few steps away, making it perfect for those who want to spend most of their time enjoying the beach. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops, and nightlife options, so you’re never far from the action. Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel maintains a relatively peaceful ambiance, allowing guests to relax after a busy day. 2. Rooms and Accommodations La Carmela offers a wide range of rooms to suit different types of travelers, from solo adventurers to large groups. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Standard rooms come with the essentials—air conditioning, cable TV, and private bathrooms with hot and cold showers. While the décor may feel a bit dated, the rooms are spacious enough and equipped with the basics. Some rooms offer partial ocean views, which are a nice perk, but those on a stricter budget can opt for more affordable interior rooms. The larger family rooms and suites are a great option for groups, offering more space and upgraded amenities like mini-refrigerators and coffee makers. 3. Facilities La Carmela de Boracay offers several amenities that cater to families, groups, and even business travelers: Swimming Pools: The hotel features multiple swimming pools, including a main pool and a kiddie pool. The pools are well-maintained, and they provide an alternative for guests who prefer to lounge by the pool rather than swim in the ocean. The hotel also offers a pool bar, which is convenient for grabbing drinks and snacks while relaxing. Restaurant: The on-site restaurant serves a buffet breakfast daily, which offers a decent variety of local and international dishes. While the breakfast spread is adequate, some guests may find it lacking in variety, especially for longer stays. However, being located in Station 2 means you have easy access to a wide array of dining options outside the hotel. Event Spaces: The hotel is equipped to handle large groups, and it’s often used for corporate events, conferences, and weddings. There are meeting rooms and function halls available, making it a practical choice for both leisure and business travelers. Other Services: La Carmela also offers various services like airport transfers, laundry service, and tour arrangements. The front desk is open 24/7, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful, although during peak seasons, service might feel slower due to the high volume of guests. 4. Service The service at La Carmela is generally efficient but can be inconsistent during busy periods. Staff members are polite and do their best to accommodate guest requests, though during peak times, there may be longer wait times for check-in or when requesting assistance. Housekeeping is reliable, and the daily cleaning ensures that rooms are kept tidy. The front desk staff are knowledgeable about local tours and activities and can help arrange island hopping, snorkeling, and other excursions, which is a plus for guests who want to make the most of their stay in Boracay. 5. Pricing One of the main reasons La Carmela de Boracay is so popular is its affordability. For its location and amenities, the rates are very competitive compared to other beachfront hotels. It’s ideal for budget-conscious travelers, families, and large groups looking for a convenient stay in Boracay without breaking the bank. While the facilities may not be as luxurious as higher-end resorts on the island, the value for money is undeniable, especially for those planning to spend most of their time exploring the beach and island activities. 6. Drawbacks While La Carmela de Boracay offers many advantages, there are a few areas where it could improve. The rooms, while clean, are a bit dated and could benefit from some modernization. During peak seasons, the hotel can feel crowded, and guests may experience delays with service or noise from other guests, especially in the common areas and hallways. Additionally, Wi-Fi can be slow, particularly in the rooms, which might be an inconvenience for those needing reliable internet access during their stay. 7. Overall Experience La Carmela de Boracay is a solid choice for travelers who want a budget-friendly, beachfront stay with convenient access to Boracay’s main attractions. While it lacks some of the luxury and modern touches of more expensive resorts, it more than makes up for it with its location, affordability, and family-friendly atmosphere. It’s ideal for large groups, families, and travelers who prioritize location and value over high-end amenities. For those looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place to stay while enjoying the beauty of Boracay, La Carmela de Boracay offers a pleasant and practical option.
We ate dinner buffet there and their foods are pretty nice. However, the service is to slow and when we dined there, No one could approached us and even our table are full of used plate, theres also no one bust out. We like the food but I dont like the sevice. Unlike, other hotel in Boracay this hotel is so rediculous.
The two air conditioners in the room were not adequate to cool the area, we called the front desk and they sent a technician to replace one of the units. There were no window shades in the bathroom and needed to be covered with our clothes. The WiFi was weak and couldn’t be used in our room, we had to go to the lobby to use it. Breakfast was not good, precooked eggs, tasteless watermelon was the only fruit, really bad coffee and no tea selection. The second morning had a better breakfast (chicken adobo was good, bananas were the fruit selection and better coffee).
Our family booked 3 rooms and it was our first time to visit Boracay. The hotel is not very far from the beach. One pool was out of service. The staff all in all were fairly accommodating. The rooms are nice though the linen appears to have seen better days.
Never more, staff slow, breakfast poor, small space for breakfast but hotel very big. Small pool for this hotel, any system here. This not 3* but like one star or hostel. Waste money fot this stay. Been on 2 star htls and was there better service. 3 night really enough.
I don't recommend this hotel, you better find some other place to stay while you're in Boracay! 1. The internet connection sucks! 2. The bathroom us always wet because there's no divider from the shower. 3. No one cleaned our room during our whole stay! 4. I asked for a spoon because I want to noodles but the staff told me it costs 30 Pesos. Only 2 teaspoons are allowed per room but we were 4 inside. 5. The breakfast buffet is so-so. Same menu everyday. I remember during our second day, I skipped the free breakfast and I ate somewhere.
This hotel located in the center of Boracay. Staffs are smiling and always greet the visitors.... Hotel was nice and clean... We are repeated customer and we highly recommend this hotel. Affordable hotel with breakfast buffet...........
Room is outdated.. beds are too small need a new aircon in the room too noisy at night and they need to change the menu of the breakfast it’s always the same every day we stay there for 6days and we had the same breakfast every single day.thats all
Good value for money! The best budget-friendly choice for a beachfront accommodation in Boracay. Has everything you need from breakfast buffet, to swimming pool, to live & guest-exclusive fire-dance show within the premises (on-lookers can watch from afar). Will definitely come back!
This 3-star resort property in Boracay doesn't offer much except for a simple room with no Wi-Fi access, an outdated television, and a hot water system that consistently fails. However, the complimentary breakfast was good, and the dining area was full when we stayed. Though it's uncommon to read negative comments about the staff's hospitality, we still felt welcomed during our stay. There's a barbecue stand on the side of the hotel that you should try for dinner! Since we only stayed for one night, this is still a good choice due to its affordable and economy room rates on the beautiful island of Boracay.
Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items. Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating.
They dont issue any Official Receipt
Supposedly Boracay closed for upgrades, etc. This place didn't take advantage of it and the only upgraded was the beach front pool.
It was ok. The bare minimum required was provided. I enjoyed my stay.
We stayed for 6 days and they only changed the sheets ONCE even though we asked several times. Breakfast menu for the whole stay was the SAME. Intercomm is NOT working Room Aircon is DEFECTIVE Towels & Linens smells MURIATIC ACID TV remote is missing. When we asked for one, they gave one but it also is NOT working
I liked the room given to us. Same as was booked. Breakfast was not that great, though
Everything was very nice amenities and staff
AC wasn’t working, maintenance supposed to come and fix it, but never came. We had to open and use the fridge to get some cold air out! We requested to change beddings and they never came! Terrible room! It’s dirty my mom got sick it was so humid. Would never stay at this hotel ever!
The place is nice. The location Is nice. The customer service is excellent and the buffet is also very good. Planning to come back again.
I liked the various processes for checking and room cleaning
personalized service
We had a good stay at La Carmela. Beach front, Nice and courteous staff, value for money, accessible to all (ATM, talipapa, restaurants, etc.) We will definitely be back and will endorsed it to our friends. 5 thumbs up!
The price is a good deal and its location. Very near to the beach front.
About what we expected for the price......Good location as per availability to bars and restaraunts.....
Overall, it was a good one! Friendly staff and good food😀
I like the amenities, the staffs are all accommodating
I like the place because it’s close by the sea. They are very nice people that helped us a lot during our stay. Breakfast buffet was ok. Thank You cArmela!!!
Beach front, food, pool are excellent.
We had some problems with the room but the staff was great and handled everything was fixed as fast as could be expected. The rooms was okay but it was very clean and the shower was great. No drinking water was provided in the room but there were water tanks in the hallways. The food was mediocre at best and was the same every day. The big plus for us was the location. It is right on the beach, right in the middle of station II. Overall a decent stay and would consider going back.
Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They Switched our room to the first floor when they knew we had a senior in our group despite no advance notice.
This is the 5th time to stay here use to enjoy having a drink by the pool near the beach nowhere to sit by the pool now main pool smaller unfortunately will have to find somewhere else now service wasnt as friendly as previous stays
Everything is good but I didn’t like how you always need to input the wifi password through a log-in page. And the connection was so slow.
I like the place but very disappointing with regards of my reservation. I will not book anymore in la carmela.
This is my 7th time in Boracay and La Carmela was the WORST accommodation experience so far. Really disappointing - staff are incredibly rude, they laugh at you, refuse to clean your room, hotel amenities are of terrible quality and breakfast gave my entire family food poisoning. Customer service doesn’t exist in this hotel as they are also very racist. I’m Australian/Filipina and they would charge additional fees for almost anything to anyone who looks foreign. They purposely did not equip our hotel room with appropriate linen/ towels etc. and charged us extra when requested. I warn everyone to stay away from this place at all costs.
Few minutes to the beach very convenient location to go around shopping, swimming , etc..
Just ok. Good for budget travellers
Excellent location, we needed to relocate room due to maintenance 😂, they should have done this before we arrive.
Great location. Hotel is average to below average. Needs some renovations.
It’s not so good to stay in this hotel. Service is very poor. Every time I call the front desk, nobody answered. You have to go down and ask the front desk. The only good thing here is the location. Very accessible to everything especially the beach.
Because of the storm, no signal and the power keeps turning on and off within our stay. Also, i requested we check in early because of our early arrival, we have to wait 2 or 3 hours and have to bribe them to give us a room and not on our correct paid room. Breakfast was not great. I don't know, this hotel used to be awesome but now it isn't. Lights in the room is so dark, towels needs to be change as it looks like its asking to be thrown away. Airconditioning needs cleaning as it is not doing its job. All in all, our stay with this hotel was not pleasing.
Poor customer service: irresponsive to all needs.
Two Blackouts a day. No wifi in the room. Noisy air conditioners. Noise staff early morning. Canned fruits.
Property near beachfront and restos.
I like the private speed boat.
A lot of disappointing things. I loved la carmela back in 2017. But now we felt everything was a downgrade. They no longer have slippers and toothbrush included in the toiletries which is tolerable
Its nice in the photos but not in the actual. Seems like the units are old. Limited choices for breakfast, pricey for Php320 buffet. Over all I'm disappointed :(didn't expect it wasn't nice
I like the pool in the beach front
Good things are clean, affordable, good facilities, beach front and buffet set up bfast, ,, bad thing is customer service must be improved. If there are request a month before the check in date and keep on following it up just dont give hope if the request is not possible as it is very disappointing when we expect things that will never happen, better to tell the truth at the beginning so customer will not expect.
Low quality of our Amenities and poor signal in our room
At first our room dont have cellphone signal The food is almost the same everyday
Good place to stay
Breakfast could do with a bit more meat dishes, but not to bad for the price
One thing I did not like is the ref is too small and there was no microwave and ironing iron. The wifi is too week and its hard to contact the hotel especially from U.S.
Fast service
we loved how it was right next the beach, but they could have more toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste plus complimentary drinks.
Hotel is along the beach, room is clean, close to restaurants & convinient stores, mall & room is reasonable price, staffs are all friendly, will come back next time
Given the mixed reviews, I would say we had very low expectations at first. However, we were incredibly pleased with the service, the accomodation, and the location. We arrived during peak Halloween period, so during check in, there was a small delay due to influx of tourists checking in at the same time. Since we were a family who booked 2 rooms, the manager was kind enough to offer us an upgrade to their 2 bedroom apartment suite. Mind you, we were given a chance to check the room first before we accept the offer. For the 5 days we stayed there, all the staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast and dinner buffet were average, but enough to fill you up. Location is its main draw, since it is in the middle of everything. However, be prepared for the flow of tourists staying at the hotel. All in all, it was a great stay and great value for money. Just don't expect 5 star services when you are paying a fraction of the cost. Room tips: Request for a room far from the restaurants, preferably 3rd floor and up. Room cleaning is as per request, better leave the key when going out and they will clean it promptly. Be kind to staff, they try their best to accomodate everyone even if they are under staffed. Who knows what perks they may provide you if you are nice to them (Buffet vouchers, Room upgrades).
Poor internet, loud music, old fixtures but close to the beach
I like the facilities, food and services.
Near the beach
Beach front and Value for money!
Room.is clean but it took almost a day to make up a room
Easy check in process
Superb stay! We were actually booked for two separate rooms but staff offered a big room that fits our entire family. Yehey! Thumbs up for the room upgrade and for a no-cost early check-in request.
The room is on wifi deadspot and the aircon is not working.
It is close to the beach
room, staff, amenities are okay, but the menu for breakfast is disappointing
warm reception, clean rooms sad that they dont have electricty the whole day
Clean place and very accommodating staff.
Staff were excellent helpful food was great, room needs help bathroom too....
I like the fact that staffs has their own designated places (almost everywhere) to clean/map the floor to avoid wet floors. However, I do not like the beddings, specifically the pillows and blankets. It triggers my asthma, cos I think they are not changing it. Thats why, not recommending La Carmela for peeps with asthma. Pls do book in a nice hotel than suffer here. That’s all thanks!
Towels and bedsheets are old. Some roaches on the hallway.I would suggest they put shower curtains in the in the bathroom so that the floor doesn't get wet and slippery when using the shower.
the place is peaceful and relaxing...towels and bed sheets are to old maybe you have to replace them with new ones..
What I like with La Carmela is it's near location to the beach, All staff that we encountered and the front desk personnel are all kind , but you cannot request for any refund or transferrable meals , maybe due to company policies, The Company should at least study their policies and give leeway to small request.
Staff are nice Excellent service Foods are great
