It’s always my favourite place, the beach and swimming pools are great, the room has washing machine and kitchen which makes it very convenient, this time we were offered a wrong and bad location, we were not offered the special treatment mentioned by Expedia! After we complained, we were moved to an amazing suite wi a huge balcony

Instalaciones decentes, pero los horarios son ridículos: piscina, spa o gimnasio cierran a las 18:00. La lavandería autoservicio solo funciona de 10 a 13 y de 14 a 16, algo totalmente absurdo. Cobro desproporcionado por persona extra y acceso sin asfaltar. En la cocina no incluyen ni estropajo ni material básico de limpieza. Un hotel con normas poco prácticas que arruinan la experiencia.

The property is old... breakfeast is repetitive and bad.... no plates or glasses... the typical food that you are willing to eat is all on pay... ruining the experience.... service at the beach is very limited same in the pool really bad and takes for ever. Food at restaurants are really poor variaty and quality.... i would say this is a 2 star hotel that for sure wont recommended

Una estadía familiar muy agradable, pero para el tipo y categoría de hotel están cortos en temas como calidad de la comida, atención a la habitación y aplicación de beneficios como los del club vacacional Explorers TC al ser un hotel GHL. También pueden mejorar en atención al cliente, puesto que se limitan mucho a la hora de cuando se hace una solicitud. Esperaba más del Irotama.

A wonderful place to stay in Santa Marta. You won’t even want to get out of the resort because everything you may need is there. It’s also huge, so a lot of options. Nature all around, really friendly staff, comfortable rooms.

The property was quite extensive and had a variety of activities as well as dinning options. Nice swimming pools with beautiful sunset views. I think the breakfast could use some improvement. With a better variety of proteins and vegetables.

Me gustó mucho porque la playa es muy limpia y segura, el personal del hotel muy servicial, las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias y el hotel tiene varias opciones para comer. Lo unico para mejorar es el estado de algunos baños publicos cercanos a la piscina prinicipal.

Falta de señalización. Falta de información. Áreas cero aptas para discapacitados y sillas de ruedas. Sin entretenimiento.( solo recreacionistas para un show tonto) Excelente servicio y atención en general. Piscinas y jacuzzis muy agradables. Comidas excluidas sin razón en el todo incluido. Cero servicio en la playa, aunque los vigilantes muy atentos aún frente a las restricciones. Pésimo servicio del carrito de transporte interno ( demasiado demorado) Pésima información para excencion de impuestos a colombo / americano a tal punto que con pasaporte americano tuve que pagar impuestos !!!🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Beautiful property. There are several towers (suites, rooms and bungalows) several restaurants and each one has different menu). I did not have all included, so you will need to put your credit card for food, drinks, snacks, groceries because the hotel is cashless. Everyone was nice from the moment we got picked up at the airport until we were returned. There is great security agents all over the property, and I love the idea of walking on the trails and also having a golf cart available. Beach was clean and not crowded. My youngest had a blast with the kids activities.

People not helpful. All inclusive not worth the money. Food terrible.

Estuvo a gusto el hospedaje. El atención en la recepción puede mejorar un poco. En la llegada no me quisieron dar el wifi hasta que no me entregaran la llave :s y el check out me lo demoraron unos 20 minutos por unas toallas de piscina

Wonderful property staff amenities and grounds

Great room , comfortable for three people

Many restrictions but some staff are very kind. Edgardo from Buho Bar makes the best piña coladas in the whole resort. Limited dining food quality and taste subpar for cost. Will need more than 1 golf cart between buildings but they tried their best to make it work. Receptionists Diara and Roslyn at Reservado building were awfully rude and made the stay uncomfortable. Their attitude was horrid and they were constantly on their phone gossiping while people waited on line for assistance. They ignored our good mornings or hellos but other workers in the lobby were always kind. Roslyn and Diara were annoyed with any questions we had about the map or resort services as they were met with eye rolls and indifference. Angel the barman at reservado pool bar was also unfriendly but we worked with Erick for the rest of the trip to try avoid anymore unpleasantries. Imprtant to note most of these resorts hold permanent residents so some owners are quite unfriendly to hotel guests. No music on any beach or pool or public area. Mostly nothing to do before 1030am, as there are no planned events and all pools/stores are closed within tthe resort. Some of the best massages available at the spa however, the chocolaterapia is a great choice.

Our bathroom shower/bathtub faucets were broken and for the price, i feel like the rooms should have been a little nicer.

It felt really safe to be in the hotel. Security guards were very aware and asked questions to make sure that guests were going into the right taxi and only guests were going into the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be coming here for my next time in Santa Marta.

5th time staying here. We have a young child and Irotama caters well to families. Everything you’d need for a vacay can be found on the property. Staff is fantastic and property is well maintained. 5 stars and looking forward to the next visit.

Muy buen servicio y atencion. Por mejorar la playa es una zona donde no se respetan las zonas de turistas todo se volvió zona de pesca donde maltratan animales y dejan basura y desechos, atraviesan red de pesca por todo el perímetro, se debería gestionar esto con las autoridades ambientales y de turismo. Adicional hay exceso de aves en las zonas de comida, deberian existir zonas cubiertas y tambien recoger oportunamente los platos y las sobras.

We stayed in the Del Mar building and it was excellent, we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was big enough for 5 people comfortably, the service was pretty good, food at the buffet was just OK, the Italian restaurant was much better, pools and the beach are great, will go back for sure.

EBookers: Preisverhältnis stimmt gar nichts. Das war eine teure Pfllaster Irotama Torres ist ein altes Gebäude,, gut erhältst aber in die Jahre gekommen. Irotama Lago oder Reservado bittet viel mehr. Ich habe eine Suite , es war extrem gross für. N nur 1 Person, war zu viel , hatte eine Küche und einen riesigen Kühlschrank i Irritaba Torre XXI wo ich mein Appartement bekommen habe, hat kein Swimminpool , nur ein Jacuzzi , war immer kalt oder geschlossen. Wenn man etwas unternehmen will muss in anderen Gebäuden Die Sicherheit im Resort und am Strand ist gewährleistet

This is a great palce to take a time to relax.

The place was very comfortable, but the lack of restaurants and activities in the Reservado tower was a little disappointing, also having the pool closed so early, maybe it is the season, but they could install some nice illumination and keep the pool open until at least 10 pm

Irotama Torres es bastante limpio y grande. El apartamento tenía una vista hermosa al mar y tiene buen aire acondicionado. La piscina es muy linda infinity y siempre hay staff dispuesto a ayudar… siempre con una sonrisa. Nostros tomamos el bus del hotel o el carrito de golf para transportarnos hacia el irotama lagos donde está la piscina principal. Lo que más nos gustó fue la amabilidad de todo el staff del hotel, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y muy amables. Recomendada la comida en cocos a la carta

En general excelente en todos los aspectos, solamente que hay pocas opciones de restaurantes y bares en la torre irotama reservado.

Excelente Hotel, especialmente la torre Reservado que fue la que nos tocó. El personal siempre con una actitud alegre y dispuestos a colaborar. La comida excelente. A mejorar el cocktail de bienvenida porque solo fue vino o refresco.

We had a wonderful experience at Itotama resort. In trying to see lots of areas of Colombia, we only spent one night here. It was not enough! I would come again and stay longer and enjoy more of the many offerings of this beautiful resort.

Facil acceso a los demas Hoteles del complejo, transporte permanente o caminar por la playa siempre es facil y seguro. La comida es buena y con buenas opciones en los diferentes restaurantes.

Friendly staff, beautiful / clean apartments at the Irotama del Sol. Love the peaceful surroundings. We will definitely go back (family of 11 members stayed at this hotel). We will definitely recommend it.

The pictures of this resort on Orbitz are a little deceiving. They show a lobby, but there are four lobbies. We took the shuttle from the airport which was great, but we were dropped at a place that didn't match the picture. I thought we were at the wrong place. Don't make that mistake. This resort is great. We have traveled to Santa Marta many times. This was our first time at Irortama and when we return we will be staying at the Irotama. I don't know what to say about this resort, 5 stars, 10 out of 10. We rented a "Junior Suite" which was much more than the pictures posted on Orbitz. This is a beautiful resort and I recommend you consider it in your search for places to stay.

We really love the property and soul like to come again in a future trip to Colombia.

Pésimo servicio demasiado groseros la mayoría del personal, mucho problema por cualquier cosa que desees realizar en el hotel.

I like the complex, the beaches, the activities, the staff and the cleanliness. The food is alright but nothing outstanding except for the grilled fish

The two room suite was very spacious, well maintained and clean. Pools are great and the resort has plenty of space and activities. We required gluten free food (Coeliac) and staff were always very helpful in making sure they understood what was needed. The only downside was having to explain someone different at every meal what gluten free meant. There is a mall with restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies very close from the resort.

The experience was really good. I would change the dining or eating options. The restaurants aren't that good, food could be better. Other than than that was great

The hotel is excellent! It is very clean and has very good customer service. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The view from the rooms is fascinating. The pools are very nice, the girls loved it. We will definitely repeat our stay at this hotel more often. It is a beautiful experience for those who travel as a family, especially with children.

It’s a brand new, extremely well set up, maintained and cleaned property. I enjoyed the spacious room, living room and bathroom. The balcony had an amazing view overlooking the bay. All around 10/10! We’ll definitely stay there again!!!

Excepcional customer service, good food, great location, beaches in good standing( except that at this trip I noticed many street vendors selling at the beach ) This time, only 2 pools were opened. The available access for sauna and turco were impossible (3 days) waiting list reservation !! I was a little disappointed because I pay for all inclusive. This place was amazing! Everything is so well coordinated you will feel at home. The staff is super helpful and attentive. The food is delicious and they are doing a great job with all the Covid measures. I hope you can come visit!

The staff is tremenous. This is our third trip to the property and it has outstanding personnel. Yudy the waitress in El Buho is the best, the waiter on the 16th floor Inajel is great and the room service snd housekeeping is 1st class. We stayed in Del Mar. With the coronavirus we were limited in facilty use, but the pool and food was great. Latam cut our trip short with flight cancellation, and the gym and sauna were closed as well. We hope to return in the future and hope management will provide compensation for us having to leave 4 days early. This resort is 5 star.

We were completely blown away when we entered our room on the 14th floor...it turned out to be a two bedroomed very stylish fully serviced apartment... if you ever get the chance put this in your bucket list

Writing a good review is not enough to explain how awesome this place is. We got an ocean view room on the 8th floor. Spacious with a balcony, fully equipped kitechen, nice clean bathroom, and super comfy king size bed. The hotel is located in Belo Horizonte, a town in between the airport and Santa Marta, in a resort complex that includes other hotels. As a guest, you have access to the gym, the pools, and amazing restaurants of all the hotels in the complex. I recommend including breakfast with your stay. The buffet is great. Colombian food, comfort food, fruit, juice, and of course good Colombian coffee. Also dinner at Piso 12 at Irotama del Mar is great during sunset. Get the grilled fish, you won’t regret it. Irotama Reservado is close to a shopping center called Zazue, where you can buy supplies. Spend your time at the beach. The calm warm waters and charcoal color sand in front of amazing mountains make this place beyond magical. They also offer tours to Tayrona natural reserve beaches. if no tours are available to purchase at the hotel, take a bus (cheaper at 1,800 COP) or taxi (20,000 COP) to Santa Marta. Go to calle primera and take a walk along the pier you can find people offering tours. Enjoy
