El confort en general es muy bajo Ruido por todas partes. Ruido de la calle, ruido del ascensor, ruido desde las otras habitaciones… el aislamiento acústico brilla por su ausencia. Las luces de emergencia de las habitaciones dan tanta luz que es imposible dormir.

La habitación y las camas muy cómodas, todo limpísimo y tuvieron la cortesía de dejarnos agua y frutas frescas. El personal muy amable y debajo hay un restaurante donde se come espectacular y a buen precio.

The staff were very helpful and gave me a map with lots of information about the city. The room was large and full of character with great facilities and a comfy bed. This was a wonderful night after a week of walking the Camino!

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026La amabilidad excepcional del personal y el buen gusto de la decoración, sencilla, limpia y elegante. La sala de desayuno (estupendo por su parte) hace que quiera uno quedarse a comer y cenar, lástima que no pude probar.
El precio fue algo elevado por las fechas en las que me alojé, pero eso ya lo sabía con antelación, como es natural.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Nice hotel, next to the Market. We liked the room with big windows and night breeze. Extra plus for the restaurant which is accessible from the hotel > with elevator. Great staff and food there!
If you need to transfer your luggage, expect some hassle. We arrived with a rental car. Closest Parking is not so close. You can not enter with car the city center. Expect to see many full Parking Garages before you get your place.

The bathroom was outdated, needs stripping out and updated. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, and no separate walk in shower. the bathroom had mould around the bath, which can be removed with detox mould and mildew remover, as I use it at home, and it works.

Im Bad war die Duscharmatur kaputt und die Steckdose im Bad hing halber draußen. Bei so einer Preisklasse nicht so toll.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026O alojamento foi recuperado com muito bom gosto, criando um ambiente muito acolhedor e agradável. A senhora que nos recebeu foi extremamente simpática, prestável e sempre disponível para ajudar. O quarto era confortável e estava muito limpo e organizado. Apenas como sugestão de melhoria, no nosso caso, teria sido mais confortável existir uma cama de casal, uma vez que viajávamos dois adultos e uma criança, em vez de duas camas individuais juntas. Recomendamos vivamente este alojamento pela sua localização, limpeza, conforto, organização e pela simpatia com que fomos recebidos. Foi uma estadia muito agradável.
No quarto onde ficámos (não sei se acontece em todos), o ar condicionado era um pouco ruidoso, o que acabou por perturbar o descanso durante a noite. Além disso, existia uma luz de presença no quarto (presumo que seja obrigatória por questões de segurança) com uma intensidade demasiado elevada. A luminosidade era suficiente para dificultar o escuro necessário para uma noite de sono verdadeiramente reparadora.

Die Notlichtbeleuchtung war zu hell und störte in der Nacht.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Nice sized room and I had a beautiful view. It was wonderful to have a bath after walking the Camino—what a luxury! The layout of the room is a bit odd but it works—just watch your shins around the corner of the bed because it’s a bit tight. As far as location within the city this is perfect—so easy to get to everything. The bed was comfortable and cozy.
Beware of noise. There are several bars/cafes right outside and people were outside talking and partying until 1am. Not really the fault of the hotel, just a downside to a convenient location. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. The TV is old and not that functional-it’s a glorified decoration. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

El edificio y su ubicación, a 5 minutos del centro y junto al Mercado de Abastos, pero bien aislado de los ruidos de la calle. Muy cómodo y limpio. Camas supercómodas. Cambio diario de toallas. Decoración muy cool y agradable. Nos ha encantado la estancia de 4 días. Volveremos sin duda.
Las indicaciones de Google Maps, lo cual es ajeno al Hotel, que no son exactas. Mejor llamar al hotel y así indican mejor.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026the hotel is gorgeous with a. fantastic view from the room, it's in a lovely area although with a few bars around and it was a little noisy throughout the night. There is a lift which was helpful after such a strenuous walk. We had a twin bed room and the beds were right next to each other. The bathroom was modern and very clean with nice products. There is a restaurant on the premises, however we missed because it was booked out, we wished we'd known as it has great reviews.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Great location right on Praza de Santo Agostiño. Close to everything but not too close. Bars right around the corner along with pizza. Staff was super nice. I arrived in Santiago with a stay somewhere else and plans to bus over to Finesterre and Muxìa for a couple of days. This was my lodging for my last night in Santiago. The staff was super nice and stored my luggage in the gap so I could travel with only my backpack over to the coast. Made life so easy!!

I so appreciated that there is a lift to the upper floors. The staff were lovely. There was also a little heater with a small rail on top in the bathroom. This meant I could dry my socks that got wet in the rain!

Wat een lawaai s’nachts!! Continu straatgeluid van luid pratende passanten. Dan na middernacht komt de vuilniswagen langs en s’ochtends vroeg, aanlevering van allerlei goederen in de stad. Omdat er geen airco was, had ik het raam open voor frisse lucht.

Reviewed May 26, 2026The location of the hotel is ideal for the Cathedral and the centre of the old town. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We dined in the restaurant one evening. The service and food were both very good, and whilst the opticians for gluten and dairy free were limited, I felt confident the staff respected them and kept me safe.
Breakfast choices were limited, especially for someone with gluten and dairy restrictions. The gluten free bread option was poor. No plant based yogurt. No gluten free cereal. The fruit options were limited. The eggs were hard boiled only. Plus an extra charge for expresso coffees. My friend had stayed here 3 years earlier and felt the offering had declined.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Super Lage im Herzen von Santiago. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Kathedrale, Pilgerbüro, Altstadt, Bahnhof……sehr nettes Hotel, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: es war relativ kühl im Zimmer, aber da es im Frühjahr war, war es nicht wirklich ein Problem.

Un precio desorbitado teniendo en cuenta que por ejemplo la bañera tenía desconchones,las luces eran patéticas la habitación pequeña no había enchufes y no había sitio ni para dejar la maleta y después de lo que vale la habitación te cobran 4 euros y medio por tasa turística

Poor room condition , the first room the shower head was broken it should had be check before giving you the room, safety box dis not work. The second room the bathtub was rusted and had rust holes. Definitely not worth the money.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They helped me arrange storage for my bicycle, and had useful tips for finding my way around and restaurants, etc. The room was bright and spacious. I would use this centrally located hotel again for sure.
