Ponte Vineyard Inn

Two days, two very different experiences. On the second day we took an enjoyable tour of the vineyard in a little cart, with informative commentary, nice views, and wine tastings along the way. Definitely recommend that! On the first day we had dinner in their restaurant and it leaves a lot to be desired, in terms of food, setting and service, sorry. The food was ok. If they served the risotto in a bowl with the fish on top it would look a lot more appetizing than having it spreading ickily across the plate, plus it cools too fast like that. The fish was overcooked. The setting is unpleasant in two ways: one, they have these unattractive black canvas curtain things delineating the space and on the floor to my left were a couple of abandoned black sandbags; and two, for some unknown reason they clear to a set of benches *in the middle of the dining space*, so all evening you have to watch other people's dirty plates, cutlery and napkins getting piled up near where you are eating. Ugh. And sadly, although I think she was trying, the waitress was not great. First she proposed to seat us, in the back corner, facing the black curtain things, extremely depressing! We sat facing the room. Later when she cleared the salad, she took the serving platter and *one* of the plates we had been eating from. Even when we moved it to the corner of the table where it clearly needed to be removed, it stayed with us...the rest of the evening. Sorry.

What a fabulous landscape. Amazing property. The room was very clean and accommodating. Staff were extremely attentive, polite, and professional. Wine choices were very good. The restaurants and bar were also very good. We will definitely be back, as Ponte will become a staple during our yearly visits to San Diego from Chicago. Our kids who live in SD are huge fans too.

Supremely attentive staff in all domains. The grounds were lovely and very serene. The room was a delight. The cozy patio was wonderful. Three persons stood out (Zach, Alexis and Hunter)

My wife and I arrived from Illinois without a reservation before Christmas due to a mixup with a vacation rental we had reserved through the New Year. The hotel was very accomodating by allowing us to extend our stay so we could spend the holidays with family. The hotel and vineyards are lovely and true to their heritage. The hours of operation of the three restaurants we frequented took some getting used to; however, the food and service were always first class. Housekeeping was also very helpful by providing bathroom incidentals as we requested. The room and hotel in general were very clean and fresh. We chose not to have our room made up every day. We highly recommend Ponte Vineyard Inn for a reasonably priced first class stay.

This is the second time staying at Ponte and it was just as great as the first time. We loved our room with the patio overlooking grape vines. Their rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and I love that they offer a water & coffee station in n the lobby. The on site restaurant is also a bonus. I would definitely stay at Ponte in the future.

Booked a last minute stay at Ponte and it didn’t disappoint! The staff was friendly, rooms were beautiful, hot tub was HOT, beds were comfy, food was delicious, and the complementary wine tastings were super awesome. Will be back.

The service at Ponte is 5 star. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay. We’ll be coming back very soon. A great weekend getaway for SoCal residents.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with glasses of wine and seated registration. The clerk was very helpful, friendly and even gave us a bottle of since it was my birthday. We visited the tasting room and had a wonderful experience tasting great wines. Then went on to a fabulous dinner...All of the personnel we had contact with were most gracious. Will definitely be going back...sooner than later I hope!

Attended a Wedding on the property that was amazing, the property was so picturesque, and beautiful. We also stayed at the property, everything about it was top notch.

Great staff, restaurant and wine tasting all good. First time winery experience really good. Want to come back again soon

The staff was unbelievable professional, helpful, and friendly! Very special! The room was comfortable and beautiful! The property was very nice, as was the wine country location. It was better than what i expected, and the price was terrific!

The property overall is very nice; the service level leaves alot to be desired at the pool area. The bar (a walk away from the pool closes at 3 PM on a holiday weekend!.) No food or bar at pool; however you can ORDER from a server at a desk - she brings it out in a paper bag. The food was AWFUL! Cold, soggy french fries, wilted lettuce on a turkey burger .. no utensils for salad in a plastic tub. On another day, arriving at the pool at 2 PM - no towels! Had to call the front desk (there is no pool attendant) and waited 15 mins for new towels. Rooms are nice and clean. Grounds are very pretty. Complimentary coffee before 8:00 AM is available, because the restaurant doesn't open until then. Bottomline - good, but far from great.

This is one of our favorite hotel/winery! The beds and bedding like sleeping on a cloud! The landscaping is beautiful and the wine and food so delicious!!

It's quite and relaxing place.

We wished the pool bar and restaurant was open but everything else was amazing!

We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday in July. A very quiet time during the week and not everything was available. But the accommodation was very good and we had an a short but enjoyable stay and visited several wineries.

Perfect weekend stay. Beds were comfy, staff was lovely, great location to visit other wineries (and their tasting room as well)! Highly recommended.

The property is gorgeous and the rooms were quite spacious and tasteful. The service was great, and the location was central to wine tasting. Our favorite part of the trip was sitting at the fire pits late into the night with wine.

It was amazing!

I enjoy this hotel; however, a couple of things were noticed. There was no drinking water at the pool; there was no food/drink service at the pool. For this level of hotel, these things should be added, especially since Temecula gets so hot in the Summer. We visited your sister winery, Bottaia and had to take an Uber when it was only a 2 minute drive. There should be shuttle service from Ponte to Bottaia. We enjoyed the room, the breakfast and the grounds. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This is our second time at the Ponte and it was wonderful.

the pool bar was not open which was a disappointment and the pool we found a band aid and a dental tooth flosser in the pool. The property was nice and people were nice besides that

Wonderful and charming !

The poolside bar and café were closed, despite being advertised as open. Throughout the day, many pool guests had to bring their own drinks and lunches to enjoy by the pool.

Gorgeous property in the heart of wine country. Staff was fabulous and the food was terrific.

I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the racial discrimination my friend and I experienced at Pointe Vineyard Inn resort during our stay from 3-6 July 2025. On July 4th, both my friend and I encountered unacceptable behavior from employees Emma and Kim, which has caused us significant distress. Such treatment is entirely unacceptable and does not reflect the values of hospitality and respect that your establishment should uphold. The first incident occurred with Emma during breakfast. We waited over an hour for food that never came. The restaurant was not crowded nor was it busy. Several parties came in afterwards and were served immediately. When the party of six arrived 45 minutes into us waiting and were served drinks and food before us - we knew we were not going to get served. We waited for another 15 minutes still questioning when we would be served. The response from Emma was, "soon." After we got up and left, we noticed our table was cleaned up almost immediately. The second incident occurred at the tasting room with Kim. Both my friend and I decided to use our complimentary tickets for a free glass of wine after telling Kim that we would use our tickets for the wine and then come back for wine tasting. My best friend and I walked around the property enjoying the view and returned ready for wine tasting. We were "assisted" by Kim. I told her we'd like to proceed with our wine tasting. She proceeded to say to us quite rudely, "You do realize that you have to pay for this (meaning the wine tasting), right?" Needless to say that my best friend and I were both shocked and taken back by Kim's comment. I responded to Kim's poorly judgmental remark - informing her that if she has an issue with how I'm going to pay, she can charge it to room 221 since we are staying at the property for two more days. She snarled, gave us a wine menu and constantly watched to ensure we did not leave the bar before paying. Although we were provided great services in the cellar by Donovan, Grayland, and Lucas it does not make up for Emma and Kim's lack of professionalism, poor attitude, terrible services or rudeness. I urge you to thoroughly investigate these incidents and address this matter promptly to ensure that no other guests endure similar experiences. CreShenda Sands

One small complaint regarding the wine selection. They did not have a Cabernet on their menu.

Relaxing, beautiful property. The grounds are stunning. Attention given to the small details. Staff members are all very kind and ready to assist with whatever may be needed. Only complaint is that restaurant we love there and the winery tasting room were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which was when we stayed. At this time of year, we feel everything should be open at least six days per week.

Nice property, very clean, would have given 5 stars but the mattress was not comfortable to sleep on.

Ponte Vineyard Inn was a beautiful stay! It's a charming hotel with amazing vineyards on the property and nearby. Perfect for a girls trip and wine tasting getaway! The staff was friendly and accommodating - would highly recommend.

Came here for a 40th birthday and had the best time!! We loved the restaurants and tastings, walk to other wineries, enjoyed the grounds of Ponte with poolside fun and firepit hangs.

Everything on the friends was beautiful. The food and service was amazing at Ponte Restaurant as well as the Cellar.

I loved the layout of the property. There was a great view from every corner of the property.

Ponte is a beautiful Winery and the Hotel is so comfortable. The restaurants have wonderful meals and the wine is delicious. Our room was so comfortable I was hoping to just stay in bed. It was a cold day but we still enjoyed the sunset but the firepits. We should have stayed longer, next time we will.

We stayed at the Jr suite….so spacious… clean… and the bed was super comfortable…

I have not enjoyed a stay like this in a while. I could not have been more happy with the free coffee, bathroom nightlight, beautiful outdoor sitting area, water bottles, and free baggage cart. And let's not forget the late checkout. I was blown away. Thank you, PONTE WINERY, for a most wonderful time.

A beautiful property to relax. It’s a short drive to wineries. Many options . The rooms were spacious and clean. Our room had a outdoor patio with a view of the vines. Great for a girlfriend getaway or a romantic weekend with your special someone

Our room was very clean and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Had such a great experience that we plan to visit again.

I really can't think of a negative other than the pool bar not being open for the season yet - pool itself was great! Everyone was lovely, the room was perfect and food at the resort was good. We especially liked the option of The Cellar for a different vibe from the other Vineyard resort restaurants. We will be back!

Nice looking place. Great rooms. But it felt dead. Restaurant was always empty and all menus felt sparse, boring .Floorplan didn't work well for lobby and common areas. Wishes they had ev chargers. Pool bar never opened on Sunday. Probably won't return.

The HVAC system was extremely loud, made gurgling sounds and wind noises. Even though it was cold outside, I ended up turning it off around two in the morning. I let the front desk know, all they could do was apologize and say that this is the way the system works for all the rooms. For the rest of our stay, I kept it off. It’s too bad, because it was a very nice setting and conveniently located.

Great rooms and view with good restaurants. When we arrived we were greeted with two glasses of a white sparkling wine that was really good as I'm not a white wine drinker. Parking was really good, the food was good as well. We would definitely return at some pointe.

Beautiful property and big clean rooms.

We had a miserable night sleep. The water pipes made noise whenever people in other rooms showered, used the sink or flushed the toilet. When told about the problem, management said to make sure to book the second floor next time. No thank you.

FABULOUS STAY!!!!! Loved the room, loved the location, loved the grounds, loved the staff! I would stay again and again! Mother-Daughter trip ...perfect place to relax and recap a great day of wine tasting! Complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning was a really nice touch! And the beds ...LOVED them so much ordered the sheets AND the feather bed from them!

I don’t have any children. One of the greatest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything went perfect definitely planning on going back again for another visit

The property is lovely but dated. Undertone of mildew. The mechanical noises in the room walls continue all night, Their wine was disappointing. Tissue products were scratchy, but the amenities ( soap, shampoo etc) were great!

The resort is the perfect place for relaxation and fun. The wine tasting room was a blast, and accessible to nearby wineries.

The room was beautifully appointed, the balcony was very large, and the view was as though it was out of a magazine! It was quiet as well, even though there was much activity in the restaurant and bar area, The Cellar, as well.

This place is incredible! The rooms are so comfortable, and the layout is super easy to navigate. The staff is super friendly and helpful, making your stay a breeze. I was blown away by how much I enjoyed my time here. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

Beautiful property

Fabulous Birthday Weekend for my wife. A short hours drive from our home in the desert, the Ponte Winery Resort was fabulous. The facilities are beautiful, rooms spacious, clean, well appointed, and quiet. The three restaurants are staffed with friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious and the portions enough for two. If you are thinking of planning a wedding, the facilities are spectacular. The only downside is that for our tastes, the wine is pedestrian. Nothing stood out as saying, Buy me, and take me home! On the other hand, we did buy two bottles from the South Coast Winery next door. This has been a wonderful and memorable weekend outing, and one to be repeated.
