Reviewed Sep 8, 2026El hotel tiene unos estandares europeos de un 3 *, muy por encima de lo que esperaba encontrar en una remota isla de Malasia, la relación calidad/precio es muy buena. No hay que preocuparse por la comida, hay lugares muy cerca con excelentes opciones y muy baratas. Si no sois buceadores pero si aficionados al snorkel, delante mismo del hotel entre 2/3 m de profundidad os esperan unos corales bastante sanos, algunas esponjas, muchos peces payaso, 1 napoleón, e infinidad de peces tropicales. El agua alrededor de la isla de Tioman no es especialmente clara en agosto, pero se puede disfrutar. Ah, por las mañanas, con la marea alta sobre las 8 / 9 no os perdais el espectáculo de los baby shark patrullando la orilla a 2 metros de esta

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Extremely clean room and the communal water dispenser. The staff are friendly and very helpful - they did their best to accommodate all of my requests. I've stayed at other places at ABC before and this is the most comfy room I've been in.
Noise from the dive shop starts at 7am, so it's difficult to wake up late.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026到了码头后 打电话给酒店 ，一直没人接电话 而且也没有人来接我们到酒店 。我么带着两个孩子 走路到酒店（汽车进不去）走了40分钟才到酒店 。第二天早上7点的船票 约好了6点到大唐 酒店答应用摩托车把我们的行李送到码头的 结果早是大唐关着门 没有人 。早上又下大雨 我们拖着行李 走了40分钟才到码头坐船 。这个垃圾酒店 就是收我1美金一天的房费 我也不会再次住这里 。垃圾中的垃圾酒店 ！！！

Reviewed Sep 10, 2025Big clean comfy rooms and beds, cotton sheets (there seems to be a trend to use microfiber sheets in MY) , big bathroom. Good AC, not very loud. Water dispenser with cold/hot water for free. Don't expect luxury, but it is a good clean solid resort.
No pool (only a small one that is used by the diving school for the pool training). No breakfast options, but there are some options nearby. There is a construction site right next door, so until finished there is/will be a lot of noise especially in the morning - so no long sleep :) The beach by the hotel is rocky, there is no private beach, you have to walk 5 min to the right (small ABC beach) or 10 to the left to reach nice sandy beaches. But you probably want to dive, so that doesn't really matter. If you are looking for a beach getaway I would recomand another location. There were several stains in the shower cabin, but if you can get over it the rest is really decent.

Ongoing construction caused noise in the morning...as it is a dive area- can be quite noisy but we were on a dive trip so not too much for us...alot of geckos which is understandable... Food variety around the area is limited..

La colazione era presso un' altro ristorante a cui si affidando, abbiamo smesso di andare a fare colazione lì perché le condioni igienico sanitarie erano pessime. Abbiamo fatto presente ciò alla nostra struttura e ci sono venuti incontro offrendoci in servizio extra da noi richiesto. Consiglierei alla struttura di cambiare il ristorante per la colazione.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2025Großartige Unterkunft mit außergewöhnlich hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal. Die Anfahrt ist spektakulär mit kleinen Motorrädern mit Beiwagen, da die Straße zur ABC Bucht so schmal ist. Da fängt der Urlaub schon toll an😊. Wir waren von der entspannten, vhilligen Atmosphäre im Dive Resort und in der ganzen Buchh begeistert. Frühstück war so naja. Der Rest einfach toll. Absolute Empfehlung für alle die kein Luxus, aber eine ordentliche, gemütliche und freundliche Unterkunft suchen. Das Hausriff direkt am Strand ist toll zum Schnorcheln. Wir haben neben vielen bunten Fischen auch einen Riffhai und Rochen gesehen. Großartig. Achtung fast ausschließlich cash in der Bucht möglich (außer in der Rezeption des Resorts, da ist Creditkarte möglich und auch Geld abheben gegen Gebühr). Nächste ATM ist in Tekek.

The rooms were clean and well-kept, and the location was excellent — just a short walk to the scuba diving training centre and the jetty. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend to divers or anyone wanting easy access to the island’s main activities.

Plage peu de sable, beaucoup de cailloux. Pas de petit déjeuner inclus. Travaux de construction en face de notre chambre. Carrelage fragile dans la chambre ne nous permettant pas de se déplacer normalement.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Nous avons aimé les chambres propres et spacieuses. Possibilité de réserver toutes les activités à proximité directement avec la réception. L’accueil s’est chargé de réserver le transfert jusqu’au ferry (à nos frais).
Literie de qualité moyenne. Piscine réservée uniquement pour les entraînements aux baptêmes de plongée. Ne comptez pas y faire trempette. Bar bruyant le soir à proximité.

Wir hatten das Zimmer , daß am nähesten zur Straße ,zur Bar und zurm Tauchzentrum war, direkt gegenüber eine Baustelle, daß heißt abends kam der Lärm von der Bar, morgens vom Tauchzentrum , tagsüber von den Mopeds und der Baustelle, Erholung ist etwas anderes, Tauchen hier auch Massenabfertigung , wir waren eher enttäuscht

A priori, chambre exécutive, supérieure au deluxe, exclusivement au rez-de-chaussée, avec passage régulier de motorbikes devant votre terrasse, et déroulement des cours de plongée à proximité . En fait, on a plus l'impression d'être dans un club de plongée que dans un resort. Ce qui n'est pas le cas d'autres resorts où les deux activités sont bien séparées. Breakfast dans un établissement à proximité très irrégulier. Seule demande effectuée auprès de la réception pour un transport en side-car, évalué à trois fois le prix obtenu seul auprès d'un établissement voisin.

Das Zimmer roch sehr schimmelig. Beim Check out in der früh um 6:30 war kein Personal da um uns unser Safety Deposit zurück zuzahlen, obwohl wir angegeben haben um wie viel Uhr wir auschecken müssen.

Reviewed Oct 15, 2024Conveniently situated about five minutes walk from one of the island's ferry piers. Near several small restaurants. Comfortable rooms and beds. Friendly and helpful hotel staff and dive coordinators - great assistance for a first-time diver. Clean. Tioman is a beautiful spot. Recommended, overall.
Wifi in room was unreliable to the point of being unusable. Staff were unable to fix it. It worked outside the room, but there were many mosquitoes happy to take advantage. Cigarette smoke everywhere - the inside of the room didn't smell, but it was inescapable outside of it. The hotel bar was the social center for the area, so it was generally pretty loud at night.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2024La cama era súper cómoda, de las mejores en las que he dormido. La facilidad del stuff para ayudarte a gestionar las inmersiones de buceo, te lo facilitan todo. Destacar a Nas, gran persona.
La hora de los desayunos, 7:30h y las inmersiones comienzan a las 8:00h, por lo que no desayunas tranquila y relajadamente pensando en que tienes que estar listo para bucear.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2024Lo mejor del alojamiento es el servicio de cursos de buceo, son especialistas y tienen cursos variados según la experiencia que tengas. Obtienes certificado PADI, y es una isla desde la que puedes ir a islas mas pequeñas de alrededor donde se hay barrera de coral, la experiencia es muy bonita. Respecto al hotel, es sencillo, sin pretensiones, habitaciones amplias y limpias. El desayuno se servia en un bar cerca de alli, donde habia buffet, muy sencillo (fruta, huevos, fideos/arroz).
La zona, quizas... ABC no tiene una playa como tal para tomar el sol o relajarte. Es mas bien un punto estrategico donde hay varias empresas que hacen buceo y otros hoteles, que añaden actividades de snorkel (aspecto que Tioman Dive Resort no ofrece, solo ofrece trasladarte con la gente que hace actividades de buceo y aprovechar el viaje para tu mientras hacer snorkel).

La limpieza. En el baño había bastante moho, en la zona de la ducha e incluso en las paredes del baño. La ultima noche cambiamos a una habitación cuádruple, q era algo más económica y estaba más limpia

Reviewed Aug 23, 2024The location and accommodation were both good. It was a neat corner room, there were some ants but it was okay. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and they cleaned the room on the second day. Restaurants and bars nearby, and an office deck in front are convenient.
However, taxis and motorcycles from the port to the resort are very expensive. Cataferries do not stay at ports close to the resort. So we paid 10 ringgit per person, but they didn't tell us in advance that we would get double the money for two types of transportation. Other than that everything was good.

Nessun supporto per spostamenti o per conoscere l’isola al meglio, pur chiedendo direttamente suggerimenti su possibili attività da fare. Non hanno nemmeno incentivato l’esperienza di diving, che dovrebbe essere Ia loro attività principale.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2024Schöne große Zimmer mit tollem Bad direkt am angeschlossenen B&J Dive Resort. Super Ausgangslage für Tauchtrips. Frühstücksbuffet wird von einem Restaurant neben dem Resort angeboten, abwechslungsreich und ausreichend.

Pillows! There was one in the room that was comfortable enough to sleep on but all the rest were too large and overstuffed - neck ache territory. This is literally my only complaint about the stay however so overall it was a fantastic experience.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2024La localisation sur ABC, la gentillesse du personnel, la proximité d’un bar et restaurant incroyables.
Rien ms il faut savoir que la plage de sable est à qq minutes à pied. Celle au pied de l’hôtel est rocheuse. Le petit déjeuner proposé par un prestataire n’est pas bon ms il est facile et peu onéreux de déjeuner ailleurs:-)

Petit déjeuner médiocre , le lait pour les céréales pour les enfants était périmé , café imbuvable , la dame qui gère la salle du petit déjeuner était désagréable. a 09h33 elle commence à taper sur son comptoir pour qu’on quitte la salle , j’ai trouvé cela très irrespectueux envers nous . On a sauté le dernier petit déjeuner , on préfère une bonne tasse de Nescafe de la chambre .
