Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Room was okay, all facilities needed. You get what you pay for in terms of objects etc. AC was loud but working properly. Staff was helpful and nice.
They could put some drinking water in the rooms though when guests arrive, because on the island it’s hard to find a place which is open for example between 2 and 8 PM. Sometimes there is no shop open for hours and after a long journey guests can get thirsty. Also a water dispenser could be useful in the accommodation - there are lots of places which have it nowadays, it would be time to do so, it’s way environmentally friendly this way as well. However the environment itself is totally unsuitable for relaxation and resting (which I thought was one of the islands main goal)…. 1) roosters are in the neighbourhood which means that from 6 AM (or even earlier) they crowed - this in itself would not have been a problem as when they stop in normal circumstances, you can continue sleeping… BUT! 2) the maintenance personnel started to mow the lawn at 8 AM!! (Why can’t he do it from 10 AM for example, in a holiday resort where people try to relax and rest??) 3) in the afternoon and evening every day lots of children (I think local, not guests!!!) used the garden of the property as playground and also as soccer field, which meant they were constantly screaming and shouting for approx 3 hours (until 9:30 PM sometimes) and the parents never even tried making them stop. The sound insulation of the rooms is not good, which meant that one can hear the screaming and shouting as if it was happening right beside him/her. They did not care about the guests at all. Also the water taxi offered by the accommodations staff was overpriced compared to other taxi services. These all made it impossible to relax and rest - especially mentally but sleeping was difficult as well. I do not recommend the place to people who want to be in peace during their holiday.

There is a very nice deck, but the nearest sandy beach is maybe 3 mins walk away. It is not a beach front property.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Super lieve mensen die de chalet verhuren en activiteiten voor je kunnen regelen, ze waren super relaxt over betalen en flexibel over aanpassingen van boekingen. Super leuke locatie op een rustiger stuk op het eiland, zeker een aanrader!
Wij vonden de bedden niet zo comfortabel en een onpraktische badkamer indeling. In hoeverre je daar wat aan kan doen.

Especially Emma and Niniey :) they help arrange you boat, motorbike, bicycle, taxi or any trip you want. - intimate atmosphere of Restu Chalet and area - The people were very kind and welcoming - There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in this area - interesting flora and fauna on the island. Nous avons pu organiser avec eux 3 excursions qui ont toutes les 3 été super car avec des guides/capitaines de qualité ! Le logement chambre avec ventilateur est sur les hauteurs, pas de bruit et une super vue ! Merci à l'équipe de l'hôtel pour leur accueil, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous !

They also offer tour options, laundry and bike rental. The room was big, clean and silent, since in wasn’t directly on the street. Would reccomend and will return here for sure!

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Isola splendida situata in un parco naturale e resort spartano ma molto rilassante. Spiaggia vicina non fruibilissima ma con una bella barriera. Emma e tutto il team sono stati fantastici. Dal resort si possono dare molte escursioni o anche solo rilassarsi.
Nella camera c'erano pochi appigli/agganci per gestire i vestiti di 4 persone. Lo stesso nel bagno che non aveva ganci o appoggi

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Wir waren mit 3 Kindern im Restu Chalet und es war traumhaft. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage ist top! Besonders hervozuheben sind die sehr herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzer und Mitarbeiter, sowie die Schorcheltour zu den umliegenden Inseln und Stränden. Wer keinen Luxus sucht, sondern das einfache Inselleben geniessen und relaxen will, ist hier genau richtig. Wir hoffen, dass dieser schöne Ort noch lange so bescheiden bleibt!

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Location was great, ABC is definitely a more chill than some other spots on the island, we found it to be a comforting and relaxing spot. The host was great, there was good food nearby, lots of activities, and everyone there is so friendly. Room was good as well with great aircon and a fan, as well as a fridge to keep your water cold.
The place in general was really really good, I do wish the door was a little more mosquito proof but the aircon and fan kind help with that anyway.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Accueil chaleureux, bureau d'excursion sur place et super kayak. Hébergement simple, mais confortable. L'emplacement est idéal, au calme avec joli spot de snorkeling juste en face et des restaurants. Tekek à environ 30-40 min à pied.
Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner. Le nettoyage de la salle de bain pourrait être améliorer.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Super nette Gastgeberin. Gut ausgestattetes Zimmer (Klima, Kühlschrank, Wäscheständer, Veranda, Warmwasser, Handtücher,...). Gute Lage direkt am Meer, nah zum Pier, Restaurants in der Nähe und kleiner Shop bei der Unterkunft dabei. Man konnte Schnorchelset, Touren und Fahrräder (die waren schon sehr klapprig, aber es ging) bei der Unterkunft mieten. All in all eine gute Zeit, weil Tioman auch einfach traumhaft ist!

Gaps in the doors meant we had creepy crawlies, which we don't mind too much. Would have been nice to have cushions on the outside seating as the chairs were very hard. Fireworks at night wasn't the greatest either.

La chambre était minuscule et vétuste Douche avec mini lavabo, sans tablette, sans miroir ( pratique pour se raser..!! ) Pire logement que nous avons eu en cinq semaines en Malaisie Qualité/ prix : zéro Nous avons demandé de changer de chambre, mais apparemment tout était réservé. Nous avons vu plusieurs chambres inoccupées en partant..!!

Reviewed Sep 12, 2025La zona de ABC en la que está situado el alojamiento es perfecta, tienes resturantes y actividades y es una zona súper tranquila y rodeada de coral. El alojamiento muy limpio y cuidado, el personal SUPER amable. Muy recomendable!!
El baño a veces desprendía olor a alcantarilla pero nos pusieron un ambientador para intentar solucionarlo. Cogimos una excursión con ellos a Juara beach y nos pareció un poco cara. Lo demás todo perfecto.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025位置极好，在村子的中部，走一分钟有好多潜店，距离AF cafe也很近，我们一直在这里解决早餐、中餐和晚餐，美味并且价不贵。房间很大，也非常干净，有充足的热水、空调，能够很方便的租赁到摩托、皮划艇，以及安排水上交通和浮潜活动。各种设施维护得很好，快艇很新，价格也非常合理。我们也得到了Emma和她家人的很多帮助，安排了上岛的快艇（快艇上岛比渡轮方便快捷）和好几趟浮潜，有任何问题都能及时快速解决。

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025Dit chalet staat niet direct aan het strand waardoor je de toeristen en voorbijrijdende scooters niet hoort. Binnen 1 minuut lopen sta je wel op het strand. Ideaal.
De prijs die de accomodatie rekent voor de watertaxi is niet eerlijk. We namen een boot van ABC naar Genting en betaalde via de accommodatie 270 Ringgit. In Genting hebben we een lokale bewoner gevraagd om ons terug te varen naar ABC. Dat kostte 100 Ringgit

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025Tolle Lage, der wunderschöne ABC-Strand ist in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Außerdem beginnt hier auch der Wanderweg für den Monkey Beach und die Monkey Bay (sehr empfehlenswerte Wanderung durch den Dschungel!!). Die Unterkunftgeber waren auch sehr nett, ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft ist direkt neben der Rezeption. Etliche Restaurants waren auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer war auch sauber, wenn man irgendetwas gebraucht hat, musste man einfach nur die Unterkunftgeberin kontaktieren.
Wir hätten uns gerne mehr Verstaumöglichkeiten gewünscht, da wir doch 6 Nächte da waren (allerdings hatten wir auch nur das Zimmer für 2 Personen, haben gesehen dass es Schränke gibt in den größeren Zimmern).

там все такое прям простое - в том числе кафе, которые работают по часам, а не постоянно. Как то раз мы проспали, и попали в перерыв между работой кафешек. Но это все такие мелочи, по сравнению с райской природой и МАЛЫМ КОЛИЧЕСТВОМ ЛЮДЕЙ - просто кайф

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025It felt like a small paradise. Ema was a great hostess. We had a small issue and she was fully committed to solving the issue. Also the prices were very reasonable. We rented a scooter for a day that gave us a great look upon the island. Also the coral cruise excursion was great

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Sehr nette Gastgeber! Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, die Bette waren bequem. Wir haben sehr gut dort schlafen können. Der Strand ist nur einige Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Bei der Ebbe konnte man sehr viele Korallen und Fische beim Schnorcheln beobachten. Die Restourants befinden sich nur einige Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt.
