Guardare l’alba e il tramonto, sentire il rumore del mare nei giorni ventosi è stato meraviglioso, imagini che ci hanno accompagnato tutte le notti, noi due seduti sul davanzale incastrarti l’uno sull’altra. Porteremo nel cuore tutta la vita questi frammenti, imagini ed emozioni.
Struttura d’epoca, senza ascensore e non insonorizzata.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The jewel in the crown of this hotel is the terrace overlooking the sea where you can sit and read, have a drink or enjoy breakfast. It is everything you could hope for in a view of the Mediterranean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The wifi was weak on the terrace, and the breakfast was adequate but not delicious. My room was very small (No18) but I feel that was reflected in the price.

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas là du tout ! La chambre sentais les égouts, la douche fuyait et on entendait beaucoup les bruits de couloirs. Je ne recommande pas forcément cet hôtel ou alors entendait dernier choix et pour une nuit. En revanche l’équipe est très gentille, j’ai bien était accueilli.

L’unica pecca se così possiamo chiamarla è stata quando mezz’ora prima del check out hanno bussato alla porta ed essendo momentaneamente in bagno e non avendo ricevuto risposta, le donne delle pulizie hanno provato ad entrare in stanza. O almeno deduco siano state loro Soggiornando una sola notte, la stanza non necessitava di essere ordinata per cui non ho capito il motivo. All’orario indicato di check out saremmo usciti ed avrebbero avuto il tempo per pulire

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Charmant hotel, leuk in zijn eenvoud en rust. De franse vibes uit de jaren 70 kolen hier wel naar boven, met voor en nadelen, kwestie van in het moment te leven. Zeer vriendelijke personeel.
Hetgeen wat tegenvviel was gelijk ook de charme van het hotel nl de Franse vibes.. Te klein bed, airco blies recht op bed, lavabo om je te wassen en tanden te poetsen stond in wc ruimte, hotelkamerdeur ging af en toe slecht op slot wegend versleten cylinder.. maar al bij ak wel ontspannende vakantie gehad. Niet aan te raden voor een verblijf langer dan een week naar mijn aanvoelen. Afhankelijk hoe laat je aankomt kan parking een provleem zijn gezien er veel dagjestoeristen in de nabijgelegen straten parkeren. Best na 17u toekomen..

The Mala beach is approximately a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The train station is also approximately a 15 minute walk from the hotel which goes to Nice all the way to Cannes in one direction and Monaco all the way into Italy in the other direction.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026I was looking for a small personal hotel where I would get to know the staff and other guests and Hotel Normandy lived up to this. In addition the room was well appointed and the bed and linen very comfortable. I had a seaview room which was amazing - I was even able to see fireworks one night. The simple breakfast was very tasty and Thomas and the rest of the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. I had a very large bag and my room was on the second floor (no lift) and they helped me carry it up and down. The location is fantastic - right in the centre of Cap D'Ail village with restaurants and shops within a few steps. I loved sitting on the terrace with a glass of rose wine looking out at the boats. The hotel has an in house bar and happily lend out beach umbrellas. The room was serviced daily and my room had a small bar fridge which was great for personal food and drink. The room's airconditioning was great and came in handy.
The room and bathroom were small and I was glad that I was alone. Some of the furnishings and general state of the hotel were a bit shabby chic but this was appropriate for the style of hotel. I loved the style of architecture but some people might struggle with the steep stairs and lack of lift.

Reviewed May 8, 2026La terrasse du petit déjeuner est superbe avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. L'Hôtel est plein de charme avec une exposition permanente de peintures et d'objets d'art. L'accueil est très agréable et personnalisé grâce à la propriétaire des lieux et le personnel est empathique et très serviable. Il y a aussi un emplacement parking.
La petite chambre est vraiment petite avec une sdb/wc plutôt étroite, c'était précisé dans la description de la chambre, mais le grand lit est très confortable.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Der Frühstücksraum war gradios, alles so schön hergerichtet. Das Personal war extrem freundlich wie alle Franzosen u. Französinnen. Speziell der Herr bei meiner Ankunft, er hatte auch Humor.
Ich verlangte beim Frühstück nach Salz und Pfeffer um mir die Eierspeise zu würzen. Danach, wurden sie mir wieder weggenommen, vielleicht weil ich kurz aufgestanden bin. Ich musste es wieder verlangen. War kein Problem für mich, eher witzig 😅 . Wir in Österreich salzen und pfeffern uns Eierspeise u. Tomaten. Ich weiß ja nicht wie es in Frankreich ist 😉

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026Hôtel 1 étoile à cap d’ail . Les chambres à l’étage « chambre double vue mer » sont sympas car elles ont une vue imprenable sur la mer et cap Ferrat ! La patronne est très sympathique, hôtel tenue par une famille. À proximité de la plage Mala .
Établissement dans son jus , l’hôtel est plutôt une pension . Il n’y a malheureusement pas de parking. Il faut se garer en ville (payant sauf la nuit).

Chambre double 2 lits petite. la salle d’eau (douche, wc, lavabo) est vraiment trop petite. Le lavabo est de la taille d’un lave mains de toilettes.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Charmantes Boutiquhotel mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf Meer und malerische Küste. Ein Bus fährt innert 20 Minuten direkt nach Monaco Center. Die Besitzerin war sehr hilfsbereit mit tollen Empfehlungen.
Ein kleiner Teekocher oder gefüllte Minibar wäre toll gewesen im Zimmer.

Malheureusement, plusieurs clients ont été bruyants pendant la nuit et les murs sont très fins. Le lavabo de la salle de bain était vraiment trop petit.
