Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The location is superb. The way the outside space flows from fhe main restaurant to the bar and outdoor pool is very nice. The pool is perfect. The service is very accommodating and friendly. Notably good local car service to the village and restaurants etc
We stayed in room 505. The room was a good size, tastefully decorated and generally comfortable but we found it very dark inside (in the middle of summer). Probably related to the dormer attic style windows. If I returned, I’d definitely request not to stay on the top floor again and get a brighter room with big windows. The fitness room was a little frustrating. It had some good equipment including a rack and lots of dumbbells but was missing obvious machines such as a dual pulley and leg extension / curl machines. Instead it was cluttered with unnecessary machines for exercises better done with dumbbells such as an overhead push machine and a chest press machine etc. my guess is that the person who picked most of this equipment has never worked out in a gym. It’s a shame because it could so easily be perfect with the right kit in The food in the main restaurant was good but not exceptional. Because the setting was so good - you do hope for excellence.
Overall Excellent Property, the views are breath taking and service is Extra ordinary. Great Experience overall.
Every stay at The Alpina Gstaad reminds us why we keep coming back. This hotel is truly exceptional, combining breathtaking luxury with the warmest hospitality we’ve ever experienced. It genuinely feels like our home away from home. A special thank you to the incredible General Manager, Nadia, whose leadership is reflected in every detail of the guest experience. The service throughout the hotel is second to none. Salvatore prepared the most delicious homemade pasta especially for us, making every meal unforgettable. At breakfast, Giovanni welcomed us each morning with kindness and impeccable service. Angela at the front desk always made us feel genuinely cared for, while Nuno and Sammy at the concierge went above and beyond to assist with every request. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition—they are simply the best in the world. The rooms are maintained to absolute perfection, and their attention to detail is truly remarkable. At the Italian restaurant,Maria Elena, Alexandros and Guilherme provided outstanding service and made every dinner a wonderful experience. The spa is spectacular, with world-class facilities that offer complete relaxation. A heartfelt thank you to Laura, Raffaela, and Kasya for their professionalism, warmth, and exceptional care. Every single employee at The Alpina Gstaad makes you feel valued, welcomed, and at home. It is rare to find a hotel where every team member consistently delivers such genuine hospitality. Thank you to the entire Alpina Gstaad family. We can’t wait to return to what will always be our favorite hotel and our home away from home.
In our view one of the best if not the best hotel in Switzerland. Outstanding service during the entire stay.
Third visit. Three nights. This trip we were joined by family. Two very average rooms on the first floor. Minimal view. The bad part it was the side of the hotel where construction was going on. From 8am to 6pm large construction vehicles and pile driving made the patio unusable. If we had known we would have gone somewhere else. The staff of the hotel just shrugged when we brought up the noise and room. Said they were very busy and booked-up. At this price point($2000 per room per night) I would have expected a little more of a response. Food OK, but nothing outstanding. Hey it’s Switzerland so expect $50 for a cocktail. Great hiking in the area and the concierge team is helpful with planning.
We had a memorable stay at The Alpina. The location, the view from the suite, the atmosphere, the service, the restaurants and breakfast are just amazing. Peaceful rest 👍😉
We had such a wonderful stay at The Alpina Gstaad. It's the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a few relaxing days in the mountains. The pool deck is absolutely beautiful and was our favourite spot during the warm summer days. Service throughout the hotel was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. We also had dinner at Megu, which was outstanding, probably some of the best Japanese food we've had. A lovely touch was the complimentary Vespas, which made exploring the area so much fun. It's the little details that really make this hotel special.
Nothing at all!
WOW - 5+ stars!!!! We spent 3 days in the Gstaad area staying at the exquisite Alpina and can honestly say this hotel was hands down our favorite in the entire Switzerland (and we stayed at some nice properties)!! Definitely a must when visiting the area! The room was superb; the hotel team could not be friendlier or more helpful, and the room was amazing with a spectacular view of the countryside! The spa was amazing with a beautiful in-house pool and hot tub area. Unfortunately, the restaurants were closed so we had to go off-site for dinner, but the facility and team members made up for that! Our experience was so amazing my wife actually started crying the last morning! You simply cannot go wrong with the Alpina!
The hotel is located away from the town. It’s not really set up to walk. A fleet of cars will take you back and forth and is very efficient. The hotel is not really set up to ski either. It’s more to loll and spa. The spa is lovely, service varies but the reception ladies are lovely and go above and beyond. The rooms are dark and the light switches have a delay and seem to need to be updated. The style is dark. Hard to read in bed. The hotel is expensive, but I feel like it’s built for people who do not care. Really it is the best hotel in town as it is the newest. Concierge team is terrible. This really affected my rating of the property. They seem to have one man who knows everything and the rest of the team are awful. At this price point it needs to be flawless. A beautiful welcome set up in the suite, but was it an overall five star wow experience? For me no, but that’s not to say I will not go back!
As always we had a fantastic stay at the Alpina Gstaad! What truly made the difference were the personal touches. The staff remembered our names, paid attention to our preferences and made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. This level of attentiveness is rare and made the experience very special. Everything from service to facilities is top 5 star. I would recommend to try the restaurant Megu, which cuisine is outstanding. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Gstaad!
Amazing property within unique setting. Spent one week and loved the concierge recommendations - lovely and scenic discoveries and a culinary ‚wow‘! Megu was a thrill - great food and top-notch service. Will be back in sommer, for sure! Highly recommend the Gstaad-side rooms for the view.
The best hotel in Gstaad, with outstanding service, excellent food, and an incredibly friendly staff. An absolutely perfect stay – highly recommended!
The Alpina Gstaad is an exceptional hotel that combines genuine Alpine character with quiet, refined luxury. From the warm welcome on arrival to the beautifully designed rooms and stunning mountain views, everything feels considered and effortless. Service is discreet, attentive and genuinely personal throughout the stay. The restaurants are consistently excellent, with creative dishes and an impressive wine selection. The Six Senses Spa is another standout calm, beautiful and perfect for switching off. The Alpina is the kind of place where you can simply slow down, switch off, and fully relax.
Our experience at The Alpina Gstaad began perfectly, as we were warmly welcomed and picked up directly at the train station. The entire team is attentive, professional and sincerely friendly, always going the extra mile without ever feeling intrusive. Special mention goes to Nadine, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the exceptional standards throughout the hotel. Her warm presence, professionalism and attention to detail truly elevate the guest experience. The rooms are beautifully designed and even though we stayed for only one night, it truly felt like a relaxing holiday. A clear 10/10 recommendation!😊
The welcome at The Alpina was very professional and incredibly warm. The staff are courteous at all times and the atmosphere is incredibly glamorous yet familiar. The music performance made the evening fantastic. The stay was simply perfect and was the best hotel experience we have ever had.
I stayed at this hotel last week and it was absolutely terrible from the second. We walked in. There were only mistakes. The servers of the hotel has nothing to do with a five star SWISS to hotel in the Alps and when we addressed all of the mistakes and the things that went wrong, no one cared and no one find a solution. I cannot recommend this hotel or spent this money it is overhyped outdated.
Checking in the Alpina, I expected to get an upgrade but a lady at the front desk told me they were full. This was lie and confirmed to me by other staff members that told me the hotel was maybe around 50% occupancy. As a Centurion holder I should have received one. The staff there is hit and miss. The concierge team there is or vey professional like the older concierge or rude and arrogant like their young male concierge who kept arguing his point with a hotel client. Very unprofessional. The waiters in the lounge are nowhere up to the task or professional like the ones from Gstaad Palace hotel. Restaurants are good and offer a variety. Rooms are probably the only category where I would place the hotel above the Palace hotel. Ski room staff and drivers are all quite professional. I would not recommend asking the conceirge to book ski instructors as they are some of the worst I have seen in Europe. Staff needs to be more professional and accommodating to merit a 5 star review. Breakfast is very good and with a wide variety on buffet and a la carte. I would probably choose Palace hotel next time and it has a better lounge atmosphere than the Alpina.
As usual, it was great. It was our fifth time. It's gotten significantly more expensive, though. Last year we paid 1665 Swiss Francs for our junior suite and this year it was 2070 Francs for the same room. But it was still worth it..
Location, staff.
We had a phenomenal four night stay at The Alpina. The hotel is elevated and set away from downtown Gstaad and feels private and secluded. Every bit of the hotel from the arrival experience to the intricate woodwork and custom furniture in the rooms is designed to perfection. The hotel’s interior design is sophisticated and understated. Compared to the other comparable 5* hotels in Gstaad, we felt The Alpina offers a quiet luxury feel that the others couldn’t quite match. The hotel staff were professional, gracious, and helpful. The concierge team was prompt and responsive to our requests and provided good recommendations prior to and during our stay. We had an inconvenient issue with our rental car’s tire pressure and the staff were kind enough to help us fix this. We stayed in a gorgeous Junior Suite with mountain views which was luxuriously and graciously appointed. The room was amongst the very best we’ve stayed in of all our travels, it felt like no expense was spared. We found the bed a touch hard for our taste, but the linens were lovely. The hotel and our room were impeccably clean and well maintained. Housekeeping was responsive and helpful. We loved relaxing at the beautiful outdoor pool and in the spa. The gym is great, both in terms of its modern clubby design and wide choice of equipment. The spa had many areas to enjoy and was exceptionally maintained. Generally the food at the hotel was very good. We ate at Monti, The Alpina Lounge, the pool (same menu as the lounge), and did a cheese and wine tasting. Breakfast was delicious; the hotel offers a large and varied a la carte menu in addition to an extensive hot and cold buffet (surprised to say that the dim sum was my favorite part!). Service at breakfast was great, however for dinner the staff seemed consistently overwhelmed and understaffed. There were a few instances in which the staff forgot about a simple request or standard part of service (like offering a drinks menu and taking our drinks order), and the food seemed to take a long time (we waited 35+ minutes for starters on nights when the restaurant did not appear that crowded). The quality of the food at dinner was inconsistent; the bread at dinner was hard and stale and we received a salad that looked like it was made from the same ingredients you could find at a NYC deli, also the portion sizes were sometimes small for the price. The hotel had live music but the pieces played and style of the musicians seemed to be a mismatch for the atmosphere of the hotel… it was like being part of an awkward wedding during dinner instead of the cool sophisticated vibe felt we expected. Those experiences were disappointing for the price/caliber of the hotel but we were generally happy with the food. All in all, a 10/10 stay! We hope to return.
From the moment you walk in til the moment you leave was a wonderful experience. It did rain two days out of the three we were there so we enjoyed all the hotel amenities. Gym, sauna, salt room, pool with a fabulous juice bar
The Albina Gstaad is a stunning hotel with a Six Senses spa, a well-equipped gym, and a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed and equipped with air conditioning, a rare luxury in the Alps. I’ve stayed here twice already and will definitely be returning.
I come to Gstaad several times a year, but this was my first time staying at the Alpina. As others will also describe it, the Alpina is the quieter, more spa focused palace hotel in the area, and while the bar and common areas may be lacking in atmosphere, the rooms are superior in their comfort and the spa is indeed excellent as are the swimming facilities. While no stay is perfect, the issues encountered were negligible at best. For instance, the hotel does not do laundry on Sundays, but no one told me this prior to taking my laundry order. I was then called two hours later and told the turnaround time would be minimum 48 hours and would be double the price. Annoying, as most five star hotels in this world can turn around laundry in a few hours versus a few days, but not something of any real consequence. The shuttle service ends at 11pm, which I wasn’t told prior and left us stranded at midnight to walk back up the hill in the rain. Not ideal. Another gripe was the exceedingly slow service at breakfast; I am all for leisurely dining, but when I order a simple coffee, I don’t expect it to take 30 minutes to bring to the table… the real issue was having only one waitress serving the entire restaurant. Her attitude was superior but everyone was running out of patience. I would also note for a hotel of this size, the gym is very small and was always crowded both morning and evening, not sure if there is room to expand, but it should be considered. Again, despite these very minor problems, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, as did my guests, this is a true five star hotel experience, and come winter, I would probably consider staying here again.
We were so happy to see our friend Luis Roza waiting to drive us to The Alpina Hotel. He is an amazing friendly person with greatly customer oriented. Upon check in we were told that room was ready as we advised hotel in advance on our arrival time. Also Fd mentioned that they were able to upgrade us but I had to emphasize that we actually paid for the upgrade and she quickly fixed herself 😊 We were escorted to the room but to our surprise when we entered the room there was no greeting card nor welcome amenities that we are used to. Anyway we got them later in the night after the turndown service. Freshly squeezed orange juice that is mostly appropriate for check in and not for sleeping. They changed the welcome cake this time to a lemon something not eatable. Room as always impeccable clean and comfortable. One of the best housekeeping service in the world. Mostly we enjoyed dinners in bar thanks to great service and drinks. Food on the other hand is plane, a lot to wish for. They should definitely bring an italian chef that understands and respects the Italian food. Just a recommendation to improve the food and bring some life to it and make The Alpina perfect. Breakfast area always amazing with AnaMaria,Salvatore,Gaia and Giovanni! The new Spa Manager Claire went above and beyond to make us feel amazing and she gave us a surprising 20 minutes sound healing treatment for family that was something super special and memorable. We ll even book it for our next stay. All spa team as always the best ever Raffaela, Laura, Svetlana, Kasya,Lucas and Amelie! All simply the best! See you for winter season!

We are a family that travels extensively and always choose our accommodation with great care. The Alpina Gstaad stands out as one of the finest hotels we've stayed at—offering a rare blend of understated luxury, impeccable service, and genuine warmth. Despite being above our usual budget, we keep returning. Why? Because every detail—from the beautifully designed rooms to the serene spa and outstanding dining—reflects excellence. The atmosphere is both refined and welcoming, and the team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The views of the surrounding nature are simply spectacular. Whether you're enjoying breakfast on the terrace or relaxing in your room, the panorama of the Bernese Alps adds a magical dimension to the experience. All in all, The Alpina offers a unique kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home while still being thoroughly pampered. We’re already looking forward to our next visit
One of the most beautiful places we have ever been. You just cannot believe your eyes when you open the doors to the view. It is so beautiful that you think it is a fake movie set. The staff is beyond exceptional. Extremely professional and very attentive. Restaurants and Spa are fantastic and all of the recommendation our Concierge team made were perfect. We can't wait to return. Special thanks to Claire, Laura, Nonu, Fernando, Salvatore and Constentinos for going above and beyond.
It’s not every day that one stumbles into luxury. Sometimes, it takes a bit of cosmic alignment — a conference on nature and the future of humanity, a few well-pulled strings, and a large dose of serendipity — to find oneself checking in at The Alpina Gstaad, Switzerland’s answer to the question: “What if heaven had central heating and room service?” Now, let’s address the Swiss elephant in the room: is it expensive? Undoubtedly, yes. But so is a Stradivarius, and no one ever asked it to play for free. From the moment you arrive, the experience unfolds with a kind of understated grandeur that money can’t quite buy — though your wallet will certainly try. The welcome at reception is not so much a check-in as it is a gentle ushering into another realm, where the only thing more elevated than the altitude is the service. The rooms? Thoughtfully decorated with just the right mix of Alpine charm and international elegance — wood meets velvet, tradition flirts with technology — and the views… well, if you must stare wistfully into the void of existence, it might as well be a snow-kissed mountain valley. The breakfast spread deserves its own standing ovation. Served with the kind of grace usually reserved for royal banquets, it ranged from the virtuously healthy to the gloriously sinful, all of it delivered with a smile that made you wonder if the staff had just been told you’d won a small lottery. A complimentary shuttle? Yes. A spa? More accurately, a temple of indulgence. Saunas, steam rooms, chill pools (the kind where even your regrets feel refreshed), and not one but two swimming pools — one indoor, one outdoor — both with jacuzzis whispering, “You deserve this.” The restaurants were equally divine — you don’t dine at Alpina, you commune. Even my vegetarian soul found solace and sophistication on every plate. They say The Alpina is the most sought-after resort during ski season — and I believe them. But even off-season, it’s nothing short of a revelation. I had a fabulous stay, the kind that spoils you forever and teaches you how good life can be if you’re lucky, persistent, or well-networked. Here’s hoping the universe conspires once more and I find myself returning. If not, I shall simply say I once flirted with the divine — and it wore bathrobes from The Alpina Gstaad.
amazing property with great view and great concierge everything was well organized for us will definitely come back
Simply the most amazing property accompanied with wonderful service especially from spa and restaurant staff! Always great to return and relax at this magical place. All the staff were superb, breakfast even got better this time with some additions of healthy choices. Giovanni and Salvatore were always there to greet us and make the beginning of the day super special. All breakfast team are simply wonderful and they work very hard and we appreciate them being so helpful and positive at all times. Spa as always a pure oasis of relaxation and health. They keep it clean and organized and the treatments are surely best in class! Kudos to Kasya, spa manager, Elinor,Laura and all the team! We had great ride with Zoran from Geneve to Gstaad, he s a legend! Hvala puno Zorane 😊 Cant wait to return in summer!
Thank you to all the staff of the Alpina. We really had a great stay and enjoyed all the facilitlies. Congratulations and keep it up
Thank you for the wonderful stay at Alpina Gstaad! The most impactful aspect was the exceptional service and attention to detail, especially in the spa and dining experiences.
Everything is perfect and the cleanliness is as if you are the first customer to stay in. Everything 7 star under one roof.
The Hotel is absolutely Beautiful !The location , the spa and outdoor heated pool give a unique sense of luxury and comfort. I won’t go point out the attention and the care I received from the people working there, you truly make the difference !
We are impressed since arriival. Beautiful Alpine Hotel, Staffs are Discreet, friendly and professional. Concierge, Doorman, Bar man are first class service. Feel like home that gives the feeling of cozyness, warm and reliable. Just one thing is about the manager at Megu that gave a bit of unfriendly attitude.
My wife and I and a close friend couple spent 4 nights at The Alpina Gstaad in September and enjoyed every minute of the visit. As others have said, we have traveled extensively and stayed in many 5 star hotels and none anywhere have ever exceeded The Alpina. This hotel is simply amazing. The views from the balcony overlooking town are just breath taking. The rooms and the overall decor are stunning. The service and the staff are first class. The food is Michelin star worthy. The concierge, front desk, spa, pools-are all staffed by friendly, helpful, professional people. We hiked and biked (with Alpina provided excellent E bikes) extensively every day with itineraries planned by the concierge and the staff. Perfect scenic routes and great advice from the Alpina made the days memorable. Spent afternoons in spa, pools, sauna, weight room etc. All outstanding. Perfect hotel. Perfect location. Worth the expense. We can’t recommend the Alpina highly enough. We will definitely return soon. Can’t wait.
Cozy, comfortable, upscale
Unparalleled view of the Gstaad region. Extremely attentive and helpful staff, wonderful collection of food, beverage and facilities.
We arrived on a Sunday in August and the pool was so crowded there were no chairs. Similar level of modest chaos going on in the outside and inside pool, saunas with families, kids running amok. That all changed over the next three days of our stay, with a much calmer and enjoyable component but the first day situation was a shock to the system given the expectation of "calm, serene, and relaxing."
one of the best in the world
I have been going to this hotel since 2015, and every year it confirms my expectations, in fact it gets better. The rooms, even the simplest ones, are spacious and equipped with every comfort. The spa is very well equipped and very clean. The indoor pool is really big. The quality of the food from breakfast to dinner is excellent. The bar has a great variety of cocktails. I really appreciated the focus on sustainability: gone is the plastic. It is also well equipped for children, the first year my son was 6 years old. what makes the difference is the staff, very kind and attentive to every request.
Our family stayed at The Alpina Gastaad for a week long vacation, and it is one of the most relaxing, rejuvenating, and memorable experiences we have had. We've been to our share of 5 star hotels, and The Alpina Gastaad stands out from the rest in so many ways -- from the beautiful ground in which it is located, the stunning and spacious guest rooms with breathtaking views, to the impeccable and friendly service you receive from every staff you encounter during the stay. We used the indoor and outdoor swimming pools every day, which the kids loved, and the massage treatments we received at the hotel were heavenly. Thank you for the amazing experience and we cannot wait to return soon!!
When it comes to top-tier luxury, the Alpina and Park Hotel Vitznau stand head and shoulders above the rest. On our recent tour, these two exceptional properties emerged as the absolute highlights, setting an unmatched standard for excellence. Both hotels are remarkable not only for their opulent accommodations and impeccable service but also for the invigorating presence of their young, innovative management teams. These forward-thinking leaders are redefining the five-star experience, injecting a breath of fresh air into what might otherwise become predictable luxury. The Alpina dazzles with its perfect blend of traditional charm and modern sophistication, while the Park Hotel Vitznau combines elegance with contemporary flair. Each property showcases how fresh ideas and a youthful approach can transform classic luxury into something extraordinary. It’s clear that these visionary managers are not just maintaining standards but are actively elevating them, ensuring that both hotels remain at the cutting edge of high-end hospitality. Bravo to the Alpina and Park Hotel Vitznau for being the standout highlights of our journey. Their commitment to blending timeless luxury with innovative, youthful energy makes them unparalleled destinations. For anyone seeking the pinnacle of refined, yet dynamic luxury, these two hotels are truly unmatched.
One of the best places I have stayed. Everything perfect.
Nothing
One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at; gorgeous location , facilities and the staff were amazing !
Facility and the room
Great location. Breakfast pastries could be better. Oatmeal/milk too mushy. Sadly those are the things I usually have for breakfast.
A 35SF smoothie ??
A 10/10 Top Location
Great setting; excellent service; the concierge gave great recommendations for local hikes
Top class five star with unmatched hospitality
for anyone outside of Europe and western countries. this is true European luxury experience.
The best experience ever 😍
professional staff especially Mr.Francisco at the outside restaurant, also amazing place to enjoy your holiday.
nothing
Clean and comfortable
Amazing experience and exceptional service.
Restaurants , personnel, spa zone, comfort and beauty of the place!
I would prefer individual packaging of shampoo, conditioner and body cream in the rooms. Everything else was perfect!
Beautiful property
This is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The service is exemplary, making skiing, going to town for touring or eating seamless. Having ski rental onsite makes it so easy and convenient.
Outstanding stay for the re-opening of the hotel post Covid lockdown with discreet, relaxed and yet personalized service and amazing vibe in the common areas. The Japanese restaurant is simply excellent. Thanks for a great couple of days and see you soon!
It was one of the most amazing places I have stayed at. The location, the view, the service, the facilities and the hospitality were all top class.
Exceptional on every level. From the moment you drive into the entrance at the Alpina you are transported into the most wonderful, relaxing and magical environment. Every little detail is taken care of and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The Concierge are the best I have ever experienced - miracle workers! This is our third trip to this hotel. My only disappointment is that I cannot live here full time as it’s just the most perfect environment.
As people say this is a seven star hotel. They know how to fulfill anyone’s expectations.
Amazing property , top notch service , very professional and efficient. Never said no to any request . Perfect views , great decor in room and in hotel . Nice hot indoor , outdoor hot pools . Best and most luxurious stay ever
Great art all around, great staff, amazing facility
We were incredibly impressed by the capability and thoughtfulness of all the staff we had dealings with
Expensive. But great service, great facilities and fantastic location. Would repeat.
Spectacular property, like a bond lair. Incredible underground entrance, there's nothing else like this place. No expense spared in designing or building this new and immaculate property. Pricey drinks but room rate included 100CHF per person per night in the excellent restaurants so food was basically free.
It is the only hotel that it looks better in reality than the photos. The atmosphere and the comfort -excellent
This hotel is everything you'd expect in a fantastic, world-class hotel: the setting is stunning, set on a mountain overlooking the charming, pristine village of Gstaad; the staff bend over backward to be helpful and yet it's not fussy or overplayed service; the rooms are incredibly plush with small touches that impress, like Laderach chocolates. Then there's the outdoor pool, with the views to the Alps, and the spa, which is managed by Six Senses and is sublime. Downsides? You're a car-ride away from town but don't worry--they offer chauffeured Land Rovers to get you there on demand...free.
An absolutely luxurious, beautiful hotel, with friendly staff and full amenities, and stunning views.
The spa at the Alpina is excellent and one of the best that I have seen. Its light, airy, has 2 jacuzzis and a great salt room. However, I found the rest of the hotel quite dark and uninspiring. The basic rooms are also not that interesting, although the bathroom is well equiped and a good size and the views from the room were excellent. Very impressed with some elements but unimpressed with others for the rates you pay.
I have stayed at some of world's most exclusive hotels, like Burj Al Arab, four seasons etc. This is one of the best luxury hotels stayed ever. We stayed at Alpina for 3 nights before Christmas. It is not grand but new (only 12 months old), classic, exclusive and luxury. It is a bit hard to find the hotel entry at arrival. It would be helpful for the hotel to place more signs to guide the driving for its location. The hotel staffs provide excellent services and make you feel like home. The concierge does every best to meet your needs. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to take you to town for shopping and dining and can pick you up for return. The food of Magu restaurant is top quality and delicious. We have dined at other well known local restaurants but enjoyed Magu the best. Breakfast does not have lots of varieties but freshly served. The service is attended. I have asked freshly squeezed juice and the waiter has pleasantly served me as complimentary. The most amazing of this hotel is the new and contemporary top class six sense spa. Fabulous wow indoor pool, heated outdoor pool with panoramic view and relaxing salt room and more. We have booked a 107 point massage with the doctor from Indian. Unfortunately he was ill and it was cancelled. Strongly recommend anyone to spend some time in the spa. A true luxurious sanctuary.
