Todo , nos encanta quedarnos aquí
The location was perfect. Our room was great (clean, spacious, decoration was beautiful) the spa + massage was a 10/10.
No complains.
Clean, everyone is so friendly, breakfast was good. Comfortable beds. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.
NA
Regresaremos
Location was very good 👍 everything at a walk distance and the breakfast was very good, they have great coffee ☕️!
The noise of the train 🚂 in the morning but when you walk a lot you can’t even hear it 🤷♀️😊
Big clean comfortable room, great staff, great location and wonderful breakfast
Nothing
Inmejorable!
It’s a lovely, rustic boutique hotel. The staff were great because they were happy to help with any requests and provided excellent customer service for anything that was not perfect. The hotel is very central and well appointed.
If I’m being really fussy; the cleaning could be better (4/5) and small things like empty soap dispensers and no toilet paper are an easy fix. I should have been informed that the in-suite jacuzzi jets did not work when booking.
Superbe expérience! Bon déjeuner, chambre très belle et confortable. Superbe emplacement
Fine breakfast good location of hotel
Antiquated door/door lock does not allow door to seal tightly and may have contributed to several mosquitoes in the room.
No probé desayuno.

Breakfast was good. Location was good.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that made our stay not only disappointing, but unlivable. The furnishings are VERY rustic and in need of updating, the padlock (yes, a padlock!) to our room door fell apart in my hand, and the jacuzzi spa was out of service our entire stay. At one point, the hotel even ran out of water for most of the day, which meant no shower, no brushing our teeth, no shaving, not even an opperable toilet! When I raised these concerns with the hotel opperator, she seemed unconcerned and disinterested in our rather basic needs. We decided this was completely unacceptable and therefore, checked out early. We requested a refund for the days we had already paid for and were told they would not provide any refund at all. We found another hotel just down the street which was fantastic!! Overall, the negatives outweighed the positives, and I would never stay here again. Beware. The pictures and even the other positive reviews are misleading.
Very cute and quaint. Lots of attention to detail. Very clean and nice staff.
We reserved the jacuzzi and there were people in it when we got there. We had made some plans considering using the jacuzzi at a specific time so we could not use it.
It was in the center
There were too many old fornitures in the room. It is better too keep it simple because the forniture takes a lot of place !
The hot tub and rooftop terrace was wonderful, great location and breakfast
Nothing
Plants, view, unique decor
Very friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating staff!
My room was so small and without any windows to see out. It felt very confined. The price for that little room doesn’t make sense. I realize it is an old building but there are some fundamental repairs that could be made by the owners that would be well worth the investment, specifically to the doors and bathroom windows neither of which close securely. The old rustic style of the property does add to the charm, but with that in mind the cleaning really needs to be 100%.
The location of this hotel is excellent, the staff were super friendly and spoke English, they took great care of us, I would totally stay here again. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and glad we got it. Do keep in mind this is an older building, in a foreign country and set your expectations especially if coming from the USA. I would highly recommend this place and wished we had booked a massage at the spa, plan to return if I can.
Location and comfortable bed and bedding. Nice breakfast.
Room a little dark.
Great location and jacuzzi was superb! Staff is friendly and always willing to help
Wifi internet is down and not working in rooms
Lovely place to stay in Queretaro. Near plaza and museums. Charming courtyard where they serve marvelous breakfasts. Be sure to get the chilaquiles, they are the best in all of Mexico. The rooftop terrace on the second level s a delightful place to look over the city and enjoy all the plants on the terrace. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well and robes were a nice touch. The toiletries were fine. There are only six rooms of various sizes which makes it a nice place to stay. The first floor room we stayed in was near the courtyard with a charming plant-filled walkway and small tables. There was only one window in the room so it did get a little stuffy. Weekend nights downtown can be noisy but earplugs mitigate the most of it. The staff really go out of the way to make this a charming place to stay.
Good
Good
It was close to the downtown area
Nothing
The location was great! Nice patio and terrace.
The luggage was stored in the reception on the floor. Not the safest way. There was a power outage of around 2 hours.
The location is excellent. Breakfast is great, the food is fresh, care of ingredients, etc.
The room was too small, full of ornaments that makes the space even smaller. The shower was clogged, water splashes everywhere, also too small. Very noisy, you could listen to a neighbor’s voice. It needs proper materials too avoid noise.
Breakfast was OK; the food was rather cold. The location was very good.
They completely missed the booking of the taxi from the hotel to the airport. I repeatedly confirmed the date and time for the taxi, i.e., 2:30 AM. They booked it for 2:30 PM.?????????
It was very quite, with the exemption of a guest's dog barking a night. The staff was vey accommodating friendly, especially the general manager, who was also the cook. Food was delicious.
Nothing not to like.
The staff was wonderful. I love the old Colonia style!
The attention to detail
Nothing
Friendly staff and great breakfast. Also loved the bathroom amenities.
Pillows were hard. Chairs in dining area need better secured.
Excellent location in the center of the city. Extremely good value—I stayed in luxury for less than $100 US. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and a roof garden with hot tub.
Nothing.
AC not working. Multiple moskitos in the room. Very loud music until 3am. Incompetent and unfriendly personal. 30 minutes for check-in. Asked if I can cancel my second night. This was refused despite the above mentioned points. I booked another hotel anyway and paid twice just to avoid to stay another night in this hotel.
This hotel has excellent location, wonderful breakfast and the rooftop deck is an inviting space to relax. The best part of my stay, however, was the massage by Flor. She was fantastic - one of the best massages I've had in my life and I'm a massage snob! We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of exploring.
The room we had opened up to the walk way which was a little odd but there was very little traffic and it was fine.
The hotel was super cute and they prepared the jacuzzi especially for us. The free breakfast was a nice addition.
No complaints
Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. The lady (Emma) very kind and helpful. Super comfortable queen bed in a room. The other bed was in a separate area. Shower space was very large and super efficient. The patio and the terrace were full of plants and flowers. Very serene atmosphere.
I would avoid the use of so many non washable pillows in silk and velvet on the beds.
A good shower
Our room was rather dark. Breakfast outdoors is quite chilly.
Love this hotel. The staff was very accommodating and willing to help. The breakfast was promptly served at the designated time, and it was really good and filling.
The wifi barely worked at night
Sheets super soft. Fabulous staff members. Breakfast was good. Coffees in room was an option. Safe secure site.
Nothing, all was positive.
Soft sheets large room. Staff amazing.
Nothing.
Location, staff was great
The breakfast is excellent. For us it includes coffee, orange juice, panque (coffee cake/loaf), a fruit plate with yogurt, and your choice of 4 main courses (we had eggs with chorizo). I'd stay again for the breakfast and location alone. We asked for a softer bed prior to arrival and the bed was quite comfortable. There were lots of different pillows on the bed, so it was easy to find one that was best-suited for yourself. The soaps in the bathroom were lovely.
The rooms in general could use a bit more polish. We've stayed in other hotels in Mexico that have a colonial/antique feel that are more inviting. The caulking around the inside wall of the shower could use a bleach soak as there is mildew growing in it. It didn't affect the experience, but it makes it seem less clean and is a fairly easy fix.
Excellent breakfast. Nice people. Great location. Pretty facility. 2nd time to book.
It is a good hotel and this was my second stay here. The showers are wonderful (rainhead showerhead). There was a problem on this visit. It’s a problem in a lot of Mexican hotels. Beds that are hard. Although the room named Mangono has a nice and comfortable bed, Durazno and Limón do not. And Durazno was the room that I was given. I would avoid these rooms because the beds are hard as a rock and it is like sleeping on concrete. I couldn’t sleep. And that made me sleep deprived. Unless you don’t have a problem with hard beds. I was unable to request a room change because I took off early, 2nd day, to explore the Sierra Gorda region, and came back late. On my second night I was stuck in the same room. Another night of troubled sleep. It is a compact room and you will need to be creative on where to hang your stuff. Also bring a sleep mask as the patio lighting that stays on all night creeps into the room. The amenities are quite wonderful and include big and fluffy towels and bath robes, and really good soaps, shampoos, etc. It’s actually a very good hotel, except for the bed issue, which for me, was miserable. So be sure to be sure that you like your bed and room when you check in. Breakfast is from 9 to 11. Great for walking just about anywhere because of its great location at Hidalgo and Allende. V60 specialty coffee is just up the street. As are Kao and Koffein . Wonderful breakfast at Naranjo
I spent 5 wonderful nights at La Casa del Naranjo during my visit to Queretaro. Great location in Centro Historico - very convenient to get to many of the sites, restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops in town. The whole property is charming and cozy. My suite - I stayed in El Limon - was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Only thing that could have been better was if the suite was refurbished (it was a bit old and dated, but not a dealbreaker). Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and professional.
The size of the room was perfect for one person, the staff was very friendly. The location was great, close to everything.
The bathroom was not clean. The pillow cases seemed dirty. The room needs a deep cleaning.
Comfortable bed, strong A/C and delicious and abundant breakfast. The hotel is well situated in the city center. Bottled water provided on arrival.
The shower didn't drain properly and shows signs of mold. The staff wasn't able to advise on the special events going on in the city.
Great location, excellent breakfasts (coffee, cake, fruit, juice, choice of entree), access to streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, etc.). One hard and one soft bed, both comfortable. Nice rooftop terrace and hot tub. Staff were kind and helpful but I needed my limited Spanish. Good security for the building - staff has to let you in and out. We enjoyed nearly everything of our stay.
The room had an Indian decor but was over decorated. There were no shelves or drawers to put clothes and the closet was difficult to access. Lights in the hall and bathroom were bright but very dim in the bedroom and the other sleeping “nook”, which had no windows. There were over 20 throw pillows to move when you wanted to sleep.
Beautiful courtyard. Rooftop terrace is lush with plants and views. Bathroom spacious and bath products had wonderful scent. Staff worked hard to accommodate us. Breakfasts were delicious.
Searing at breakfast area felt a bit precarious- rickety chairs. Pillows were too big- foam and about 8” high. Difficult for sleeping.
The location was excellent -- a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and most other main attractions. The breakfast was also excellent -- delicious and beautifully presented!
Nothing!
The bed was sooooo comfortable! The facility was quaint and lovely!
I purposely look for places with free breakfast as I prefer to eat at the place I am staying. However, the hours of 'free breakfast' did not work with my schedule as you had to 'prebook your time' and the times that worked for me were all booked. So, I did not get the meals that I paid for - or the convenience I look for in my travels.
beautiful boutique hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, great location, great, breakfast, and a hot tub
all was very good
Quaint atmosphere with friendly staff. Location near many sites. Breakfast was fantastic and the roof top was a lovely place to relax. Our room had a South Asia notify. Very charming.
Some areas needed a bit of maintenance but overall not a big problem.
the property was beautiful and very relaxing.
we liked everything about it
The property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. Great location.
Very nice trip. Excellent service from Marco, Julia and others. This is a quaint old hotel so our room was a little small. Not a lot of room to spread out when my husband was on his computer. But the atmosphere is great.
My only negative is they are a little skimpy on toilet paper. I kept having to ask for more.
The breakfast each morning was good. The selection was limited, so after a while we went out to other restaurants to get a bigger variety.
Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like.
Property is well located. The hotel is attractive, breakfast delicious and staff as accommodating as they could be.
The bed in our room was old and saggy. The staff person who was there during our stay was brand new and not always able to find things or answer questions. There was no hot water until we asked for it.
Everything about this boutique hotel was outstanding. There are no words to explain how much we enjoyed this place. Whenever I stay in a hotel, the most important is the room and the facilities, La Casa del Naranjo has that additional token of love with their breakfast. The woman that prepares the breakfast is simply such an amazing person , the best chilaquiles and chocolate bread for breakfast, the coffee is super fresh as well as the fruit. The hotel’s staff are also the best!
Everything in this hotel is amazing.
In my 4 weeks in Mexico, this was the best place I stayed. This is a small B&B - only about 8 rooms. It's just a few blocks from major tourist attractions, but on a very quiet street. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. My room was truly beautiful and very spacious. I believe each room is decorated differently - mine was south Asian and Middle Eastern themed. Absolutely lovely and very tasteful. Housekeeping was meticulous. I recommend the rooms on the second floor as they have more light. The A/C worked perfectly. I stayed 3 nights and could have stayed longer - but had other cities to visit.
charm, location & staff. (very international and fantastic, friendly people)breakfast was delicious also loved the asian desserts across the street and the last restaurant in the walkway behind the hotel!!
wifi is weak, but do to the thick walls that is one of the things that make this old building charming…it’s hard to get a consistent signal
My wife and I spent two nights al this excellent hotel. It has a great location, the room is very clean / comfortable, and their attention is outstanding. We would like to highly commend Teddy, Ken, Brenda, Luis, Vladimir and Emma. They were all extremely pleasant, professional, friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Queretaro. Jorge and Ana
Wonderful breakfast with fruit, main course, fresh orange juice and excellent fresh coffee. All the staff was fantastic and very helpful. Bed was super comfortable and everything was super clean. There is a beautiful terraza to enjoy the view and wonderful weather.
Nothing to complain about.
The charming, traditional atmosphere. Upper patio was divine. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Was a bit noisy at times because of the proximity to the street
everything, it is centrally located, amazing owner and staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable, and words cannot express how much I enjoyed staying there. I had a silly accident, I missed a step and fell and sprained my ankle. Emma the helper immediately called Maria, the owner, who arranged for an immediate visit to a doctor in a hospital.i so much appreciate the help, thr attention and the care I received from, all the staff. Not to forget Freddy and Paola. in fact my foot was broken which I discoveredn when I returned home. the fall was one day before returning home.thank you Maria and your team.
Muy buena ubicación
It is a wonderful hotel. The courtyard and rooms were beautiful and the staff was very helpful and nice.
It was family of mine that live in Queretaro who recommended this find. What a nice surprise to be in such a beautiful and clean central location so that it allows for guests to hear church bells but no other ambient sound! The staff of this place are extraordinary: friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate. Truly, it has such a quiet elegance. I loved it.
