Nice swimming pool

The shower drain was blocked, causing the entire bathroom to flood. We informed the staff, and although they claimed that the problem had been fixed, nothing was actually done. We were leaving for a trip early the following morning, so the evening before, we asked reception whether we could take some fruit and vegetables for breakfast just ten minutes before the restaurant officially opened. They assured us that this would be possible. However, the next morning, the staff refused completely, and we had to leave for our trip without breakfast.

The location is amazing, Lamai is awesome for couples, but it is a bit far away from the fishermen's market, airport etc. The room was relly nice and quiet. The Staff were great as well.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but looks like it's common in the area.

Es un hotel bonito, ajardinado, con dos piscinas, al lado de la playa y en el centro de Lamai rodeado de restaurantes, bares y tiendas pero aún así tranquilo. El buffet del desayuno es amplio y variado con frutas, huevos, embutidos, tostadas...Las habitaciones son bastante amplias aunque el mobiliario está quizá un poco anticuado. Guardan el equipaje hasta la hora de salida del vuelo de vuelta y el personal es amable y servicial. Sin ser un resort de lujo, es cómodo para pasar unos días.

En principio todo fue correcto, salvo que solo ponen una toalla de manos por habitación y mi mujer suele utiluzar una para la cabeza, no sienfo posible y a ello se suma un feo detalle justo al final. El hotel proporciona unas zapatillas, al igual que otros hoteles, pero resulta que, a pesar de que no lo indiquen, no te las puedes llevar. Al parecer, se lavan y se vuelven a utilizar para otros clientes. Lo considero poco higiénico.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. My room and the facilities were very clean. The gardens are beautiful. It is in a great central location to beach, shops snd restaurants. The place is set back from the main road by a driveway and parking area so road noise is not a concern.

The mattress was ok but not what I prefer. Others might be fine with it. My room was close to the reception area so the noise of suitcases being wheeled was often heard. Some inconsiderate guests leave their towels on the pool chairs for hours without using them. I feel that the staff should remove the towels if nobody has been present for a while.

La chambre spacieuse, le confort du lit, la terrasse, la propreté, la qualité de service (service de laverie, restauration etc.), le petit déjeuner hyper complet, les deux piscines, la salle de sport, l’emplacement hyper central à Lamai. C’est un bel établissement.

Location right at the heart of Lamai, with very minimal noise in the room from the street pubs. Big room Amazing breakfast. Nice pool

The mattress was a bit too soft for me. Air condition a bit noisy.

Very clean and well maintained. Nice stuff and facilities. The room was amazing and the pool was always clean and comfortable. If I could I would have stayed there longer. Breakfast was diverse on delicious. Very recommended.

Not close to all the activities, but it couldn’t have been. It’s not that far from the silver beach (less than 10 minutes drive) and has a lot of close staff.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Gut gelegen, da man zu Fuss zum Strand kann und auch an der Flaniermeile entlangehen kann ohne Auto. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumigt, modern und sehr sauber. Wir haben im 3. Stock gewohnt. Gegenüber war ein Irish Pub, dass extrem Laute Musik gespielt hat- täglich bis mind. 4 Uhr morgens. Man hatte das Gefühlt, dass die Cranberries direkt am Nachtkästchen live spielen. Schlafen somit nur mit Ohropax. Sonst wirklich Top. Auch die 2 Pools. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es wird dauernd geputzt. Das Gym ist "open air" mit Ventilator. Gut ausgestattet- Multipresse, Kurzhanteln usw Allerdings eben sehr heiss, wenn man nicht gleich Morgens beginnt. Und es sperrt "erst" um 8 Uhr auf, was ich auch schade finde, da die meisten eher schon - auch im Urlaub- früher den Pflichtteil erledigen wollen ;-) Personal ist sehr nett- egal wo-Rezeption, Pool, Reinigunspersonal. Immer freundlich. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich würde wieder dort nächtigen.

Das Pub mit der extrem lauten Musik bis mind 4 Uhr morgens gegenüber.

The entire property and the rooms were spotlessly clean and very well-maintained.The highlights of our stay: Unbeatable Location: The hotel is perfectly centrally located in Lamai town. Absolutely everything is within walking distance. A huge plus for us as a family: two 7-Eleven stores are right around the corner, as well as great restaurants and bars. Despite the central location, the beautiful sandy beach is just a short 3-minute walk away. Great Pool Area & Gym: There are two pools on-site. One features a long lap pool, which is great for swimming lengths. The other pool has an amazing swim-up pool bar – perfect for relaxing. For those who want to stay active, there is also a good fitness studio (gym) right at the resort. Outstanding Service: The entire staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel's laundry service is excellent – everything was perfectly clean and ready in just a few hours. Also, renting a car through the reception was super easy, quick, and hassle-free. Delicious Food: The breakfast buffet offers a fantastic selection of both Thai and Western dishes. Lunch at the hotel restaurant and the service that came with it were top-notch every single time. Conclusion: By Thai standards, the accommodation might be slightly more expensive, but for everything that is offered, the price fits a Western family absolutely perfectly! We were in the honeymoon suite and it was huge. Beautiful property and a stones throw from the beach. 10 minutes to the night market and short walk to bars and restaurants. Lovely staff

חסר מאווררי תקרה במרפסות ובמתחם ארוחת הבוקר. היה יכול להיות מעולה אם היה מאוורר תקרה במרפסת . מתחם האוכל פתוח ולא ממוזג מאווררי תקרה היו יכולים להועיל , המאווררים הקטנים על עמוד בצדדים לא מספקים מענה

Great sized rooms, superior pool view. 2 rooms on the ground floor. Clean and comfortable. Well kept grounds. Pools lovely and plenty of sun beds ( not reserved!) Breakfast, good quality and choice Friendly staff.

Le personnel est très sympathique et bienveillant. L'hôtel est proche de tout. Plusieurs excellents restaurants autour. Nous avons eu 2 chambres durant notre séjour. La première était au premier plancher et était super. La 2e avait un swim out. Celle-ci était magnifique, mais mal insonorisée. On entendait le voisin peser sur les interrupteurs.

The location is perfect. Set off the main road, very quiet but so close to bars and restaurants, and the beach. There are two pools, with enough sunbeds, though in very busy times I expect it might be a bit of a struggle. Didn't eat in the restaurant at all because of the options outside. Was great having pretty much direct access to the pool from the rooms. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and were able to put right an issue we had. As we had a very late flight, we had a period between checking out and going to the airport but the staff were only too happy to ensure we had access to the shower and towels for the pool in this period.

While the pool area closest to the reception is beautiful and leafy, the tiling in the decorative/seating centre sections needs work. There's a lot of of the little tiles in those middle sections that have come away and it's looking a little shabby.

Het personeel was super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Wasservice, bagageopslag. Onze kamers waren ruim en je krijgt iedere dag 4 flessen water per kamer. De airco kon alleen niet op een stille stand voor de nacht. Dat had het helemaal mooi gemaakt. Prima ontbijt!

In de nacht hoorden wij af en toe muziek vd hoofdstraat. Niet heel erg, maar misschien wel goed te weten.

Swimming pools are nice but need some renovations. Many sharp edges. The place where the hotel is good, Very close to the beach. But the road behind the hotel is king of ugly

Uns hat an diesem Hotel einfach alles gefallen. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles war sehr sauber, die Betten wurden jeden Tag gemacht und das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln – einfach alles war top! Dieses Hotel hätte unserer Meinung nach 4 Sterne verdient und nicht nur 3. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team!

Heerlijke kamers! Mooi zwembad en dichtbij het strand. Top locatie

Een mooie accommodatie dichtbij de restaurants en winkels. Maar toch rustig. Wij hadden de swim up room en dat is fantastisch. De bedden zijn goed en ontbijt is top.

Wel zijn de muren tussen de kamers erg dun, waardoor het erg gehorig is. Onze buren draaiden elke dag harde muziek en daar had het hotel strenger tegen kunnen optreden. Verder hadden wij geboekt voor 2 volwassen en 1 kind. INCLUSIEF ontbijt. Bij aankomst hoorde wij dat het ontbijt voor onze zoon NIET ingebrepen was. Dit stond inderdaad in de algemene voorwaarden (zagen wij achteraf) maar we vinden dit wel slecht! We boekten immers voor drie personen INCLUSIEF ontbijt. Dan verwacht je niet een disclaimer in de algemene voorwaarden... Dit zou je als hotel ook niet moeten willen.

Eine sehr große schöne Anlage mit 2 Pools, und einem Strandweg von 2-3 min. Liegt an eine belebten Straße man findet alles drum herum. Zimmer mit Balkon groß und komfortabel. Personal auch zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit

Die Pools waren super. Wir konnten einen Motorroller direkt am Hotel für einen fairen Preis mieten. Zu Fuß waren es nur wenige Meter zum Strand.

Wir waren rundum glücklich im Am Samui Palace. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und schön sauber. Die komplette Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und verbreitet das perfekte Urlaubsfeeling. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zurück ! :-)

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Lamai, just a 3-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops, and massage parlors. The property feels like a tropical paradise, set in a beautiful lush garden. It features two large swimming pools, one with a pool bar offering reasonable prices (a small beer is 100 THB). The hotel, pools, and rooms are very clean. Rooms are spacious, with a large terrace, huge comfortable bed, big bathroom, refrigerator, safe, and excellent air conditioning. There is also a convenient shortcut to the beach through the rear exit, open from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The staff is friendly and helpful. The value for money is outstanding, and I highly recommend this hotel.

mein Zimmer ging nach hinten raus, da schallte teilweise bis 3:00 morgens der Heavy Metall, wirklich sehr laut aus der Shamrock Bar in das Zimmer rein, so das man schwerlich Schlafen konnte. Ich kann nur neuen Gästen raten zu schauen das Ihr Zimmer nicht Richtung Hauptstraße liegt .

Central location, spacious rooms, lots of lounger options at the pools

Rooms are a bit run down and interesting that there’s no mini bar drinks. Pool was a bit warm, beach would be more refreshing.

3 star is a bit inaccurate, I’ve stayed in worse 5 stars, everything was fine and I was pleasantly suprised.

Despite being near the beach, there is no sense of being near the sea. The breakfast was underwhelming.

Ten hotel jest przewspaniały! Przemiła i bardzo pomocna obsługa. W hotelu znajdują się dwa baseny o róznej charakterystycje. Jeden z nich jest skąpany wśród roślinności a drugi jest w bardziej nowoczesnym stylu. Chętnie korzystalismy z obu. Lokalizacja idealna. W pobliżu sklep 7 eleven, mnóstwo miejsc na masaż. Z hotelu jest osobne dojście praktycznie bezpośrednio na plażę. Pokoje czyste i schludne.

Das Hotel liegt ausgezeichnet - man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen - da es aber etwas zurück gebaut ist - ist es dennoch ruhig - abhängig davon welch ein Zimmer man bekommt - das Frühstück ist umfangreich - mit einer frischen Eierstation wo man sich Omelette etc machen lassen konnte - die Angestellten alle super freundlich

Bis auf das - dass auf meinen Wunsch “ruhig und im 1. Stock “ nicht eingegangen wurde - unser Zimmer war mit Ausblick auf den Parkplatz und die Zufahrt und auf der anderen Seite war die Küche/Restaurant - wo ab 06.00 Uhr ca gewerkt wurde - ist es ein super Hotel mit schönen Pools - und 5 min vom Strand entfernt

Nuestra estancia en Am Samui Palace ha sido muy satisfactoria y nos ha parecido una opción con una relación calidad-precio excelente. No es un hotel de súper lujo, pero tanto las instalaciones como el trato del personal nos parecieron muy buenos. El hotel tiene dos piscinas: una rodeada de vegetación y jardines, muy agradable, y otra más moderna que fue nuestra favorita, además con barra dentro de la piscina para pedir bebidas y siempre con personal muy amable atendiendo. La habitación era amplia, el baño nos gustó mucho y la ubicación también es muy cómoda, ya que está muy cerca de la playa y rodeado de restaurantes y bares. El desayuno fue uno de los puntos fuertes: muchísima variedad y además preparaban tortillas al momento con los ingredientes que quisieras.

Como punto a tener en cuenta, prácticamente enfrente hay una zona de barras con “chicas” con música muy alta hasta tarde, por lo que puede haber bastante ruido por la noche. Si buscas tranquilidad, recomendamos pedir una habitación orientada hacia las piscinas o valorar otra zona más silenciosa. Por lo demás, nuestra experiencia fue muy positiva y repetiríamos sin duda.

Es wurden bei 22 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht einmal die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Boden nur oberflächlich gereinigt.

Am Samui Palace heeft een fantastische ligging. Het is een heel rustig resort en ligt direct achter de hoofdstraat van Lamai, wat je in het geheel niet hoort als je op het resort bent. De hotelkamer heeft een standaard hotelinrichting en is prima. Het zwembad achter de receptie is prachtig en omgeven door allerlei tropische planten. Het andere zwembad is modern en strak. Door de centrale ligging loop je zo het centrum in. We hebben iedere avond in een ander heerlijk restaurant gegeten.

We hebben alleen geslapen in het hotel en van de zwembaden genoten en kunnen dus niet meer van het hotel beoordelen.
