Kaiteriteri Abel Tasman Inlet Views

Wir durften unseren Aufenthalt ganz kurzfristig verschieben, da unsere Fähre nicht gefahren ist. Das war toll. Die Unterkunft ist prima. Das Bad ist richtig klasse.

I really enjoyed my stay. Clean room and modern bathroom. Close to the beach and the pickup point for the water taxi. On-site parking is practical.

The only slight disappointment for me was the breakfast. A few slices of toast with some spreads and yoghurt isn’t really breakfast.

The motel has a nice view, and the room is comfortable, but it's really a little bit difficult to locate, because it hides from the mountain road to Kaiteriteri. The rooms are not so big, but warm. The night view of the sky is terrific, wonderful for stargazing! And I saw the moon halo for the first time in my life!

It's a pity it can not offer fresh cooking breakfast, all the breakfasts offered are pre-prepared in the fridge.

Location and amenities

Path light on outside all night long was visible from bed making it difficult to sleep with shade open.

Cute property. Easy 10 min walk to beach and boat trips. 2 restaurants were open when we went end May. Both nice one vegetarian one and other one pub food called beached whale. Both within walking distance. The bed was comfy. Compact property but had everything we needed toaster, kettle and fridge. They left us cereals, bread marmalades jams and yoghurts for breakfast

The shower was very nice! Great location! Breakfast foods were good!

You could not wash dishes in the bathroom sink and were given a bucket. The bucket did not fit in the sink properly when filling it. There were also no teaspoons. The WiFi was virtually non-existent on all of our devices. The view couldn't be seen from the room we were given.

Great location, loved the little breakfast provisions, and truthfully the bathroom was a highlight! Seemingly brand new, very attractive styling, phenomenal water pressure.

Our only big complaint was that the WiFi was very unreliable. We were also in the first of four units, which meant that if we wanted the curtains open, we had zero privacy from other guests walking right past. Overall, though, that wasn’t a very big deal!

Quite hot sleeping a blanket as opossed to duvet would have been good as an option. Other wise loved our stay. Would recommend to others.

Super easy check in and out. Parking space. Complimentary breakfast. Fab location. Easy instructions from hosts.

I still slept ok but the mattress was quite lumpy.

Well located for Kaiteriteri Beach that was only 10 minutes walk away.

No sink to wash up cups and dishes etc?! Appreciate it's only a "B & B", but still need to wash up cups and breakfast plates which is a bit inconvenient in the bathroom sink. Never met host,

The breakfast was very minimal bread, preserves, cereal, milk. Location was good

Parking was on a very, very steep hill. View on website was taken from upper level of house, before vegetation obscured our view. Room was very small for two people, unable to unpack or pack at the same time. No storage for clothing. We had two large suitcases. No housekeeping unless requested. Dishes had to be washed by hand in a bucket! Under bed was dirty owners were seen, but not present! Did not engage.

Close to the Kaiteriteri centre and water taxi pick up points- so location was great! The owner was very kind and helpful, replied quickly to messages after we arrived. Nice breakfast! Room was very modern and nice, lived the terrace. Grill and laundry room at the facilities.

Only thing was that we tried reaching out a few times before arriving regarding bag storage since we were arriving earlier than check in, never got an answer back. But I think she just didn’t see the messages because after we arrived communication was great!

Quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Small and hard to get to down the drive on the busy road.We were allocated a room but when we got there someone else was in it and there Noone to tell us what room we could use instead,so had to take the only one we saw that we hoped was vacant.

The location was good.

There was no inlet view - plants needed cutting back. Breakfast was basic food provided for our use. The property was very overpriced compared to similar properties in NZ.

Unterkunft: über den Appartements befindet sich eine Terrasse und man hört jeden Schritt. Die schiebetür im Bad reicht nur für eine optische Raumtrennung (mehr nicht). Über die eigene Terrasse laufen die anderen Hotelgäste um ihre Unterkunft zu erreichen. Frühstück: Zumutung Qualitätiv minderwertig! Im Kühlschrank findet ihr abgepackte Marmelade, zwei Toastscheiben, Joghurt und ein Glas Milch. Wifi: absolut miserabel. Es geht von Verbindungsproblemen bis hin zur WLAN- Qualität.

The location was fantastic - great place if you plan to access Abel Tasman by water taxi from Kaiteriteri - you can walk to the beach to meet the taxi. Cute room and decor and easy to park.

It was a little tricky to find the entrance especially at night but once I did not problem. There was actually no view from the room. And the room had a little fridge an teapot but no microwave which would have been great to have given it is not really close to any restaurants or big town, but I can understand why they may not want to have bc of odors and proximity to other rooms.

Op wandelafstand van het stadje. Wissel van kamer op gelijkvloers in plaats van eerste verdiep was geen probleem.

The property was clean with a nice large shower and comfortable bed.

The property was smaller than expected not much in the way of facilities, very little area to put clothes and space could be utilised better to provide hanging space Wifi intermittent No TV No microwave provided Room was very hot and the small fan provided didn’t really help with the temperature Breakfast was 2 jars of cereal yogurts left in fridge with slices of bread .

Great location, with good proximity to beachfront & restaurants within 5 minute walk. Very clean & quiet. En suite shower room very modern & spacious.

Lacked kitchen sink unit which would have been useful as good provisioning.

Loved sitting out front, taking in the sunset.

The outdoor space isn’t very private. It’s essentially one long patio divided into sections with lattice privacy screens between the units, so there's no sound barrier between you and your neighbors. I imagine it could be very peaceful if neighboring guests are keeping things quiet, but during our stay there was quite a bit of noise. I appreciated that the owners contacted the neighbors to ask them to keep it down, even though we hadn’t complained (someone else may have). Because the spaces are so close, even quieter conversation and music carried, which made it hard to enjoy a peaceful evening outside.

Described fully on line so no surprise. It was a lovely unit, 1 of 4, and only 10 mins walk from restaurants.

Unit was great. Travelers should be aware that it is a steep path from the property to restaurants. In places it was unstable. Please know this has nothing to do with the property owner. Just some extra information.

Das Bad war groß und gut ausgestattet, Frühstück im Zimmer war gut. Nette kleine Sitzgelegenheit vor dem Apartment.

Kein Spülbecken in der kitchenett. Der Raum ist etwas beengt und niedrig. Es ist sehr hellhörig.

Extrem kleiner und tiefer (Deckenhöhe beängstigend) Schlafraum (12m2) Keine Klimaanlage, nur ein kleiner unbedeutender Ventilator. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es heiss und an Schlaf war so nicht zu denken. Terrasse ohne Sonnenschutz, rostige, defekte Stühle. Minimalistisches Frühstück. Sehr gefährliche Einfahrt (kriminell)! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist eine Frechheit. 395NZ Dollar pro Nacht 😡Sind vorzeitig abgereist. Schlechteste Unterkunft auf unserer Neuseelandreise (sind 3 Monate unterwegs)

The instructions to get to the property and the quietness of location. A few things in the fridge and on the bench to help us the next day breakfast before shopping.

I guess the owners know these already. A couple of hooks for towels inside the WC. A couple of cans (coke or beer) in the fridge would be nice. Supplying raw milk in a unlabeled jar is assuming that it is no expired and that indeed it is milk (and which type of milk)

Washing up in a bowl! No inlet views when sitting down on the patio. Table and chairs outside need replacing. Very old and rusty.

Good location, easy walk into town. Room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

Lovely place to stay with access to Abel Tasman and a wonderful beach just a short walk away.

Das ist die schlechteste Unterkunft unserer Neuseeland-Reise. Den Gastgeber sieht man nie. In der Beschreibung werden Waschmaschine, Tumbler, Bügeleinrichtung und Grill versprochen. Nichts davon ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer ist extrem klein. Man hat keinen Platz für zwei Koffer. Das Self Catering Frühstück ist sehr bescheiden. Reklamation via Mail bleibt unbeantwortet.

Schöne Lage, sauber, Parkplatz

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat leider nicht gestimmt. Das Frühstück muss man selbst zubereiten. Keine Nachttischlampen

Nowocześnie urządzony, w stylu greckim, piękna łazienka. Proste śniadanie w cenie. Cudowny widok na przyrodę zaraz po wyjściu z pokoju. Na plażę w 10 min pieszo. Miło spędzone dwie noce.

Ciężko było cokolwiek wysuszyć (mokre ubrania po deszczu), prawdopodobnie ze względu na brak wentylacji.

La ubicación. Poder utilizar la lavadora y secadora sin coste alguno,se lo agradecemos a los anfitriones.

La habitación dispone de frigorífico pero no de microondas , tenerlo facilita mucho la estancia.

Sieht (auch auf den Fotos) gut aus. Sauber, freundliche Mitarbeiter, fußläufig zum Strand.

Unpraktische Einrichtung. Durch großes Bad kleinerer Schlafraum. Leicht verminderte Deckenhöhe. Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten; kein Schrank.

Nice modern design and furnishings. Beautiful location.

The noise level was higher than we’d prefer. Walls are thin and you could hear people above you and on either side. The refrigerator was old and very loud. The wifi was terrible. It would have been nice to have some place to put luggage/clothes. There were no closets or drawers.

The village is located in a stunning area.

The host did not respond to the questions. The breakfast is not really a meal. I had to get one on the restaurant near the beach

Bed was comfy

Lock on door didn't work properly both being able to enter and worse was not easily being able to unlock to get out. Steps down to get to room we felt were unsafe.

Excellent location. Walking distance into village. Nice and peaceful . Host supplied us with muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt, bread , spreads, tea and coffee , milk, which was a nice touch.Bed was super comfortable. There is also a washing machine and dryer on site which we didn't need to use.

Only thing we we would have liked would have been a tv but we did have our ipads so not too much of a problem. We are a couple in our late 60's so used to a tv!

A little cocoon by the beach, with views of the beach. Very modern and comfortable, breakfast provided with toasts and yogurts. A lovely charming place, I'd definitely come back !

I had trouble with opening / closing the window door, but Dylan was kind enough to help me each time without a problem. So nothing really, the place was perfect!

Location is good and you are able to walk to Kaiteriteri center where for example the tours to Abel Tasman start. Terrasse with a small table outside was nice (because weather was very nice). Thanks for the host that she informed us already before check-in time when the room was free.

Breakfast was very basic, orange juice would have been nice addition. There is no good table to eat breakfast inside.

The sound proofing between walls was not so good. Could hear the cell alarm going off next unit or above unit

Signage from roadway difficult to find.

The property is a fairly short walk to Kaiteriteri Beach and has a view over the inlet. There is parking right next to it. The shower was great with modern fittings in the bathroom. The rest of the property was compact but good value.

It wouldn't have been so private if there had been other holidaymakers in the other accommodation beyond ours as they would have to walk across the front of the glass wall front of the room.

Great location and a lovely view. Great little seating area outside your room for a book & glass of wine in the evening sun. Great bathroom and super comfortable bed. Kitchenette has everything you need.

You can hear your neighbours but that is clearly stated and I'm not sure you'd have a different experience anywhere else.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer. Eines der größten Badezimmer mit Regenwald Dusche auf einer langen Reise. Man hat eine eigene Terrasse mit schönen Ausblick auf einen See. Nette Leute getroffen wenn die auch auf Ihrer Terrasse saßen. Der Abel Tasman National Park ist in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Personal sehr nett und freundlich. Es gab sogar Frühstück im Zimmer was man sich selber zubereiten konnte. Sehr angenehm.

Just a suggestion . There should be solar lights or something at units and at stairway, especially if been out til dark. Also a mat inside doorway , as it was raining when we arrived and the floor was slippery.

1 minute from Abel Tasman National Park boat rides. Very clean and comfortable. I came after reception had closed but the key was waiting for me with clear instructions. Thanks very much.
