Lacks on maintenance and cleaning which confirms other reviews reported by other users. Unfortunately this seems to be a common reality in Nusa.

small but lovely stay. Transport on Nusa Penida is problematic a scooter rental is essential not within easy walking distance to shops or restaurants and transport on the island is hard to find and expensive

Their rooms are very dirty. Swimming pool was smelly. The hotel was almost empty. There were only two guests including us which kind of felt scary during nights. The staffs are also not attentive whenever in need.

Very out dated. The pictures on Booking are great but the reality is that this hotel is Max 2 stars. Next to a busy road. No food and the rooms are not clean.

Hotel was elevated on a mountain and situated in a remote area so we had to book taxis to take us to the restaurants. Air con was just recirculating air and was not really cooling the room. We had to keep the fan running in the bathroom to cool it down and therefore the bathroom light had to stay on at the same time because of the combined switch. Towels and bathmats need to be renewed.

Our stay in the sea-facing room was nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean every morning was an absolute dream. The view from the room’s balcony was simply breathtaking—panoramic ocean vistas that we couldn’t get enough of. The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, with large windows that allowed natural light to pour in, enhancing the serene beachside atmosphere. The comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities added to the sense of relaxation. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony, with the gentle sea breeze and waves crashing in the background. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who loves being by the water, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. Overall, this sea-facing room made our trip truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for a tranquil and picturesque escape, this is the perfect place to experience the beauty of the ocean. We will definitely back!

Nice room with a great view, not far from the city centre - although you need a motor bike.

— not bad view from the pool — good location next to Buyuk Harbour — in room service it’s just delivery from one restaurant but it’s good to note the food is pretty good (but this is the only choice to eat normal food around)

— very long process of check in + unavailability to provide room a little bit earlier — personnel don’t speak English at all so it’s quite difficult to explain anything + they can’t help you with ANY kind of info (wrong info about fly tickets/boats/how to get to this or that place:/) — hotel is located up the hill with no pedestrian road next or around it so it’s impossible to walk around even unsafe cuz the traffic flow is busy and fast — breakfast is disgusting and not fresh; poor choice from 4 options — no supermarkets or shops on this island at all! (only poor local one which you need to get only by using car/bike) — very smelly and old en suite with spiders and mold — only 2 local TV channels to watch — the sound insulation is generally very poor (very very noisy from the cars so you can’t hear what your neighbour is speaking about during breakfast e.g.) — a very small pool with view-spoiling electric poles and wires — if you want to shorten your stay at the hotel, then the money will only be refunded to your local bank card, which was completely inconvenient

Nice hotel on the hill, good views and great pool area. Rooms were big and nice, everything you need is there. Staff were nice. The restaurant only serves breakfast, no dinner, drinks or snacks (so bring some), but they can order in food/drinks for you from a restaurant down the road. They get food from a surprisingly good restaurant with a wide array of food available.

The bathroom was definitely in need of maintenance (mold, broken, shower that could only go really hot or cold). Would be nice if the restaurant would at least serve some snacks and drinks during the day. Be aware that this hotel is halfway up a steep hill so it's a bit of a walk to the beach and restaurants. There is also a busy road next to the hotel, where traffice noise starts early morning. It didn't really bother us though.

The view was lovely and the grounds well kept- staff were fabulous.

The bathroom needed upgrading and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. No nearby restaurants/bars to walk to. Needed taxi to go anywhere. The hotel provided breakfast (4 options) but no other meals were available to purchase- they do have an option like Uber Eats that can be ordered and delivered.

A very nice hotel. I stayed for 1 night, my aim was to rest and tour in the morning. hotel staff was very good. They gave a good service. The view of the hotel was perfect. Also, the breakfast was very good. I was very pleased.

Location is fantastic, view of Mount Agung is stunning. The staff were lovely and let us check in slightly earlier, use the pool whilst we waited and they even took our bags up to our room for us.

A party of domestic tourists came for an evening and partied til the early hours. They were loud which was quite disrespectful. I think it needs to be noted, the walls are very thin, and you can hear pretty much everything. But it's minor.

Hotel was pretty off the way and reaching here was a task. If you hire a scooter / bike upfront, it becomes easier to reach here. The hotel was more like a motel and limited food options for vegetarian. The staff responded at its own pace in evening, while in the morning response time reduces because owner is present at that time.

The place is on a hill where the view of the ocean is quiet awesome to look at.

Well the property is unmaintained and the water wasn’t that good as I had to request to be moved down from the 2nd floor to 1st floor due to water pressure problems.

The place was near to the Ferry (7.2 Km) and thus very convenient. the building is relatively new and well maintained. the vie was spectacular just opposite Mt Batur. Early morning you get to see Mt Batur and the sea very clearly. The staff was very helpful. Only breakfast is provided at the hotel but there are many restaurants nearby especially Bollywood Indian Cuisine which delivers food at the hotel. They gave us the scooter to go to the restuarant for dinner. they also provided car for hire at a reasonable rate for west Nusa Penida tour next day.

- Breakfast was terrible! The day before you need to tell your order already. You get to chose from a list of max 4-5 items and 3-4 different drinks. Very limited and also the quality was very bad. Ending up not eating breakfast, the house dog ate it all. - The rooms are terrible condition, our wall came off the wall. The bathroom was dirty, and the finish of the room just not good - WiFi was terrible! We were sleeping in room 118 and had no WiFi at all at some points. More no WiFi than WiFi. Reported it to the reception multiple times but they said they will fix it. But in the three days being there, it was a total horror with WiFi! We even checked to move hotels because of this - In the 3 days we were there, our room was not cleaned once! - The people at the reception were nice, but almost did not speak English at all. Just ending up not taking time to discuss things because won’t solve anything! - You are quite far away from everything so in the evening you are screwed, no option to buy food or drinks at the premises.

Check in an hour early

We stayed in a bungalow. The room was not 100% clean, we cleaned the aircon filters which were extremely dirty impacting the coolness of the room. The shower was broken so you had to hold the head to shower. Cracked tiles on the room floor, considering paying what we did for a night this is not good value for money. We asked for a Bintang of which staff accommodated but they were warm and unable to serve them cold. Breakfast was average and staff need training, they seemed more interested in their own fun than serving the guests.

Fantastic property, right near to two main Harbors (Buyuk and Toa Pakeh), an Indian restaurant (Bollywood and Nemu Kitchen(mix of cuisines)) and the road connects directly to the main spots like Klingking/broken beach and Teletubbies hills (though distance is ~12-15km).

I have two points here: First, Rooms are not maintained well, I stayed in a Bungalow and I would say cleanliness is not proper though in first look it will look good. But bathroom is damn old styled and very poorly maintained, the back of a bed has lot of spider webs, there was one small lizard also. If they clean the rooms, I think it would be great specially bathroom should be renovated. Second, very limited options in breakfast. They should designed it thinking of more wider audience.

The bed was super comfy and our tv was really good! They left us complimentary coke and sprite in the fridge along with water which was a nice touch :) The staff were all really helpful and friendly and if you do stay here remember that they do a free shuttle to and from the harbour so make sure you message them via booking.com to save yourself from taxi fees.

Usually I like having a really hot shower and it isn’t a very hot shower, luke warm at best, it would be hot for about 2 minutes but then gradually gets colder which was a shame but apart from that everything was good.

little far from west side beach and east side beach also. slightly isolated from the center. difficult to travel after it gets dark if you don’t have your own personal transportation.

What is not pleasant is that so close to the road, the noise of motorcycles and cars is heard early on, it is understandable since it is the transport of the island.

Unless you have transport, this is not a place to stay. Its at the top of an extremely steep hill. There's no offer of shuttle down/up the hill to get to restaurants even though there's 2 cars at the property. There's no restaurants at the hostel so you can't get any food there except included breakfast which is extrelimited. The staff are very friendly and nice. However, they know nothing about trips. When you ask a wore out sheet of paper is given with a list of prices for taxis to the tourist destinations such as Crystal beach etc. The taxis will charge alot for tge few min drive up the hill as they know you have no choice. It's black at night so impossible to walk up. We managed to pay 50,000 r. For at trip that should be 5,000. But they will try to charge 100,000. There's no Gojek on Nusa P. On the plus side tgere is a small shop that the reception staff open so you can buy a beer or some crisp. The rooms are great and view good, pool nice. The road is right next to the property. There is a free shuttle to the ferry which is why we chose it. Thats great but then once there you are completely stranded. So I'd repeat.....do not stay here unless you have a bike or car.

Location up a non lite very very steep winding hill that's difficult and dangerous to walk down let alone up. Costly taxis as they know the hotel and fact you can not get back without getting a lift. There's no safe in the room but you do get slippers and dressing gown.

Pool was nice.

The location is pretty far. They have only one scooter there so we had to rent it form other place. They didint offer any help to find that scooter, just told us to go down and find it ourselfes. Staff wasnt very helpful withl any other problems either.

Beautiful view, really comfy beds. Perfect peaceful location to explore the island that’s still close to cafes by bike. Breakfast was good.

The view was remarkable. Taking a nice swim in the pool in the evening with the setting sun for company was such a nice way to relax. Would definitely visit again.

On our one night stay we had no water available during the night nor the next morning. Very disappointing unable to shower, wash hands etc.

Bedroom too wet, some poor money saving practices (give unpackaged handsoap for shower ... don't change bedsheet daily... ) and the beach isn't easily accessible from the hôtel at all (advertised as in front of beach on booking.com)

I liked the beds they are comfortable.

On the advertisement it stated that it is near the beach we did not know will take us 30min to get there. Another thing we tried renting a motorbike for 150k IDR they gave us a bike with bad tires and one mirror was missing so we ended up not using it( so what we did good thing i took photos of the phone number of our driver who dropped us there cause if not we will end up using the broken motorbike cause the hotel staff said that they dont know any driver in the area, i think that was a lie bc they wanted their customers ending up getting the rental bikes). the driving in that area is bad so having two mirrors and a good tire for the full amount they ask should be fixed.. Another thing the tv did not work so we were at the hotel fot the two days without tv... was told they will fix it but later on was told that the person that will fix it could not come because they are in the temple praying.. The hot water it will only be hot for less than 5min so make sure that you will take a fast shower( also water has smell and salty) so make sure to use bottle water for brushing. I also would like to add if you decided to stay in the hotel for a whole day bc of the weather just wanted to give a headsup they dont serve lunch ...so if you get hungry around lunch time you will need to wait till 3pm to eat. Befor leaving the hotel also we settled all our bills and did pay for a boat ticket with driver to take us back to sanu. Just a headsup double check all your receipts because the girl at the register was trying to charge us twice when we already paid. I wished we could had stayed in a different place ...this one was bad... Hope all my comments and experience will help all future stayers.

Noisey and the sound of the motorbike is very loud couldn't sleep for days. Also any one speaks outside you can hear it clearly.

The rooms had a fully stocked minibar, that was restocked with water once cleaned, the bathroom also had free toiletries including a comb, and sanitary bag. overall great experience

the area that the property was in was quite secluded. there weren’t any restaurants or shops nearby, and to access one, it meant walking up and down big hills.
