The Kama

Das Personal ist super lieb und zuvorkommend und kümmert sich wirklich hervorragend um seine Gäste. Es wurde uns sogar ein kostenloser Abholservice organisiert. Auch darüber hinaus wird vieles angeboten, wie etwa Touren zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, ein Rollerverleih sowie Schnorchelausflüge inklusive Transfer. Die Aussicht und der Pool sind ein absoluter Traum! Da es insgesamt nur 8 Zimmer gibt, ist die Anlage zudem wunderbar ruhig und nie überlaufen.

Leider gab es auch ein paar Dinge, die nicht perfekt waren. Der größte Minuspunkt war der Abflussgeruch in unserem Badezimmer, was den ansonsten sehr schönen Aufenthalt leider etwas getrübt hat. Das Bad ist generell etwas in die Jahre gekommen: Der Toilettensitz ist leicht verfärbt, an den Wasserhähnen blättert das Material ab und die Dusche hat Flecken. Das restliche Zimmer war davon abgesehen aber in einem guten Zustand.

The view is amazing and the pool is lovely. The restaurant had decent food. Staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge and the bathroom too. They are very good with organising day trips and taxi on a reasonable price. You can even have a massage in your room.

Some of the fittings like bathroom tap and sockets not very secure and a bit rustic. There is a constant noise of a power station in the area. It is nothing the hotel could do anything about. You can’t hear it in the room, only outside.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable,with an amazing view from our balcony ! Pool with a view !! We have truly appreciate the wonderful hospitality and had a great experience!

The Kama is a lovely little spot close to Buyuk harbour. Our welcome was very warm, the rooms are huge as are the bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely withlots of sunbeds, Oh and the view is stunning!!! Breakfast offers a great selection of a menu, dinner was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Personale estremamente accogliente, ci hanno trattato davvero molto bene, sempre disponibili e con il sorriso! Camera ampia, piscina a sfioro con una bellissima vista!

Die schöne Aussicht von Zimmer aus.

Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthalts ein sehr unangenehmes Erlebnis. Hinter den Gardinen in unserem Zimmer befanden sich ein ziemlich großer Gecko und zwei kleinere. Aufgrund dessen konnte ich die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen. Am nächsten Tag haben wir das Hotel deshalb verlassen. Der große Gecko konnte vom Personal eingefangen werden, die beiden kleineren jedoch nicht. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war, dass es offenbar keine andere Möglichkeit für ein Taxi gab als das Hoteltaxi. Dieses war im Vergleich zu den üblichen Preisen auf Bali ziemlich teuer. Insgesamt hat die Situation unseren Aufenthalt leider sehr beeinträchtigt. Außerdem haben die Toiletten eine Öffnung nach außen, sodass Insekten und andere Tiere problemlos in den Toilettenbereich gelangen können.

Les murs extérieurs mériteraient un coup de peinture , les tuyaux apparents dans la salle de bain Le dinner pas terrible du coup on a testé juste une fois, et impossible d avoir service de cocktail a la carte car l employé soit disant malade le temps de notre sejour Du fait que l hotel est en hauteur si on est a pied il faut descendre et monter une bonne côte Situation un peu isolé du centre et des restaurants

Le bruit qui venait du port et des scooters... un peu vieillot, et très long en cuisine, mais j'imagine que c'est parce que tout est fait minute.

Nous nous sommes fait voler de l’argent lors de notre séjour à l’hôtel (après le passage du ménage..) . L’hôtel ne nous a trouvé aucune solution / quelques équipements à changer

Отличное обслуживание, доброжелательный персонал, помогли с такси до порта на снорклинг, бесплатно отвезли в порт на катер до Нуса Пенида (потому как ранее мы не воспользовались басплатным трансфером из порта в отель). Хороший сытный завтрак. Отличный вид.

Плохой напор в душе. Ремонт в номере не свежий, не очень хорошо убран номер.

The view was perfect. Room was nice and clean. Staff were great. Close by to restaurants if you rent a bike.

The restaurant was only open for breakfast when we were there & laundry service wasn’t available, because it was close to their Silent Day.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. They booked everything for us, didn’t need to worry about a thing. Big up Joe and Wayan. The view was incredible!!

Nothing against the property but I will say, it’s important to note it’s a fairly remote island so sometimes the full menu isn’t available but the staff will go above and beyond to make sure you’re full and happy

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und wunderschön. Die Unterkunft ist etwas höher gelegen, sodass man hier seine Ruhe hat - per Shuttle kommt man gut und zu fairen Preisen zu den jeweiligen hotspots.

Friendly stuff！

The shower water is salty. There is a noticeable musty smell in the room. During the rainy season, visibility is low and the volcano is not visible. The bathroom is connected to the outside. Upon check-in, there was a palm-sized gecko in the bathroom, which was later removed by the staff. There are many flies during breakfast; it would be helpful to have fly-repelling tools available.

I loved the hospitality that the staff had, very very nice people. The hotel has an amazing view, absolutely worth it. The food was also pretty good and so was the management.

The only thing that could've been better is some furniture was a little old and the property has insects but they still did an amazing job with keeping it in control considering the location of the resort!

The Kama, Nusa Penida One of the best places we’ve stayed in Bali. The pool was incredible — easily the best we’ve had, and the beers in buckets around the pool were perfect. Drinks were priced the same as the supermarkets which was awesome. Rooms were spacious with great views, and the food was really good and well-priced. Staff were super friendly and helpful — they even took us to the doctor for free. Loved the in-house massages and laundry service too. Jo the driver and cook is a legend! Also great that they offer free airport pick-up. Highly recommend The Kama if you’re heading to Nusa Penida. Great value, great vibe, and amazing people.

The drains in the toilet were a little smelly, however did not affect the rest of the living space

Great view. Nice and friendly staff. Quiet resort as there are only 8 rooms. Felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time.

Was slightly away from bars and restaurants, and up a small hill. Although this was worth it as it gives a nice ocean view. It’s only a short walk. Breakfast was included so that was convenient but would not pay for it next time as there are many more places that do better food.

Établissement incroyable rien a dire fidèle aux photos.

Seul bémol est la personne qui s’occupe de l’accueil qui à voulu nous faire payer de l’essence en plus si nous n’avions pas la preuve par message ils nous auraient fait payé. De plus un comportement assez déplacé en jetant la calculette et en disant « la prochaine fois allez prendre l’essence vous même » alors que cest lui qui nous as proposé de le faire.. ce n’est pas très grave mais sa à gâcher notre fin de séjour.

Het hotel zelf was prachtig. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht wat echt mooi was. Kamer en badkamer zeer ruim. Heerlijk infinity zwembad. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam met name Wajan die ook goed Engels sprak en over vanalles meedacht 🙏🏼 hij heeft ook voor ons de boottrip naar GILI air geregeld. Ook ontbijt heel goed. Hotel ligt hogerop, als je even een stukje naar beneden loopt dan ligt links een top restaurant Medaran, echt Balinees, héérlijk 🤩🤩

Er waren maar 2 parasols voor de 8 kamers, dat is echt veel te weinig. Ze schijnen wel besteld te zijn….

No vegetarian options and no cafes near by. Its on a hill so you need a transport everytime you decide to go out.Its ideal if you want to just go there and relax as it's very secluded.

L’un de nos meilleurs hôtels à Bali ! J’ai adoré la décoration et la vue qui est tout simplement sublime. Le lieu est très intimiste, avec seulement quelques chambres (environ 6), ce qui le rend encore plus agréable. Mention spéciale pour les petites cabanes où l’on peut dîner, particulièrement au coucher du soleil : un moment très romantique. J’ai aussi apprécié que l’hôtel propose des excursions clé en main avec de bons chauffeurs, ainsi qu’une navette gratuite pour le port. Enfin, la possibilité de tout régler par carte bancaire au check-out, que ce soit les excursions ou les dîners, est vraiment pratique.

Entre le chant des geckos et celui des coqs, vous aurez une vraie immersion dans la nature : ça fait partie du charme du lieu.

The Kama resort was perfect place to be in Nusa Penida. We stayed there for 3 nights and wanted to stay more. Room was in good condition, with amazing view, breakfast choice very big, we had lunch and dinner and it was very good, compared to other restaurants on the island. Also very nice that the pool works all night. We took a scooter from hotel which was very convenient and a private snorkeling tour from hotel offers, which was a cherry on top - if you go to the kama, we highly recommend going (the guide and boat driver were awesome). It's a shame we didn't have time for massages but they offer to have them in your room. Staff also helped us with our boat from and to Bali, we didn't have to worry. Best regards to the staff, that were helpful and super nice. Thank you for amazing stay🙏🩷

Das Kama bietet einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die angebotenen Touren waren gut - wir haben die West Side Tour zu den Stränden gemacht. Alle sprachen gut Englisch. Das Frühstück war gut wie auch die Gerichte die zu Mittag und Abend angeboten wurden.

Es könnten ein paar mehr Auflagen für die Sonnenliegen sowie Sonnenschirme vorhanden sein. Die Sauberkeit im Bad könnte besser sein.

Cuarto de baño abierto con posibilidad de entrada de insectos, lagartijas y gekos. Por suerte no entró nada. Deberían de mejorar la puerta del cuarto de baño para que no la habitación quedara hermética.

Fantastic services! The team is super friendly and always accommodating our needs. My wife and I were celebrating our 20 years anniversary and they set up our bed with flowers and decoration before we arrived. What an amazing touch. The breakfast options were delicious, dinner also and the pool absolutely fantastic!

La piscine offre une vue magnifique sur la mer, le restaurant de l’hôtel est plutôt bon (et heureusement car sans scooter il ne vous est pas possible de manger autre part). Le personnel est très gentil et plutôt accessible. En revanche les draps de l’hôtel et les taies d’oreiller n’étaient pas propres. J’ai trouvé ça regrettable car au prix de la nuit, il me semble possible d’acheter une nouvelle literie si les taches ne s’enlèvent pas…

Les chambres sont superbes , la piscine avec vue dégagée sur la mer et Bali au loin . Le personnel est très gentil, toujours à l’écoute et très serviable. Possibilité de donner sur place. Bien situé au nord de Nusa penida à proximité de quasi tout .

Si je dois dire une chose négative c’est l’état de la route pour accéder a l’hôtel. Pentu et en très mauvais état mais comme quasi partout à Nusa penida .

Excellent service from the staff (Wayan among others ). From check in, to taxi pick up and drop off, to the organized snorkeling trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is open 24/7 and offers a great view

The staff was very friendly. The pool in front of the room was ready nice especially the view.

The bathroom was not as clean, also some parts of the room were not the cleanest. We could see footprints that were not ours. Also the breakfast was very limited.

Das große Zimmer und das große Bad- beides mit phantastischem Ausblick. Der große geräumige Balkon und das nette und hilfsbereite Team. Besonders Ketut war hilfsbereit, freundlich und gab uns viele wertvolle Tipps!

De accomodatie, het uitzicht, maar zeer zeker ook de ontvangst met een welkomstdrankje en een zeer vriendelijke medewerker. Wayan Bule heeft ons erg goed ontvangen en een goed gevoel gegeven. Onze credits gaan dan ook voornamelijk naar hem. Het uitzicht was erg mooi, ook tijdens de zonsopgang met zicht op gunung agung. Prachtig!!! Als wij weer Nusa Penida bezoeken, willen wij weer in het Kama hotel verblijven. Wij bedanken Wayan Bule voor zijn gastvrijheid en medewerking en wensen hem veel geluk.

De kamers! Zo prachtig ingericht , heel schoon hele mooie ruime badkamer, geweldig uitzicht op zee, en op de vulkaan op Bali!! Fantastisch, zo vanuit je bad kijk je uit op het hele mooie eiland en zee. Medewerkers zijn ontzettend lief en geven veel info en je kan ook tripjes bij ze boeken zoals zwemmen tussen de Manta’s en snorkeltripjes. Ontbijt van de kaart wat ook prima is. Heerlijke infinity pool met ook weer dat mooie uitzicht. Gewoon boeken dit!
