Units 8 and 10 we will avoid in future. Don't like noise from above unit. And traffic noise as well.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Our room was spic and span, so clean and smelled lovely. A shame we never got to say hello to the Owner?Staff before we checked out.
The only problem we had was when we got up to watch the All Blacks Game at 3am the TV kept stopping every 2 to 3 minutes saying we were watching another video channel and to restart. This happened for the duration of the game which was very frustrating :(. Ended up getting too disappointed and went to sleep before it finished.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026It was a lovely sunny unit with all the features I needed for my 2 day stay. Staff were friendly. Was taken to the room by the person who greeted me at the reception and small details explained before handing me the unit's key which was appreciated. Was advised on where to park my car. Was lovely and quiet overnight. The whole unit was spotlessly clean throughout with a comfortable bed (for me) but may not have been long enough for my 6 foot + husband had he of been with me.
The water pressure from the shower was disappointing. Can understand why it is done but took longer to wash/rinse due to low water pressure. I realise it is costly to renovate and the unit itself was very nice but hope that replacing windows & joinery is considered further down the track as it was hard to open and shut the windows due to aged/warped aluminium and security stays. Just an observation considering the refit of the unit as a whole which was lovely.

My only suggestion is that lip going into the bathroom is a real hazard. I tripped and had a fall into the bathroom, luckily, didn't get injured. But it's difficult to see.

The owner Summer was very pleasant and polite on my arrival. When I visit again I will definitely be booking this little room. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Was initially worried that all the rooms might not have been renovated and we would get an older one. I messaged them and they reassured me that all renovations were done and truly, all was great. A pleasant welcome and spotless rooms, comfortable beds, loved it all.
The only grumble would be the milk they use and most motels do it, the UHT stuff. I forgot to bring some real milk myself but a very small cloud in our coffee😊

Room No 10 was supposed to be a Superior studio . It had been renovated inside, but the outside of the property is not inviting at all. The room was on the front so suffered from traffic noise. We could not see out of any of the windows , only the bathroom had clear glass !!!. We booked for 3 nights, but found another hotel after the first night.

Not really anything we didn't like butaybe short of two seater.. dining table and chairs so not really enough room for more.
