Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton N - St Albert by IHG

Excellent breakfast

All was good.

Very Nice Hotel! Clean room, My kids enjoyed the waterslide by the pool, Good breakfast and Friendly staff😊

All good.

Excellent service from receptionist, kitchen staff who prepared delicious breakfast, housekeeping to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and our room (we stayed 2 nights) and to the maintenance guy who helped my daughter put battery in her toy. You guys are so amazing. This hotel is our to go hotel during our staycation with my kids. And definitely we'll go back there again. I'm hoping everything will be the same, the service and cleanliness. 🤩

Easy to find and in a great location for where I needed to be!

Very comfortable and good location

The buliding is well maintained.

I was there because my husband was admitted in the Hospital. I reached at 10:30. even though rooms are available but they charge me extra for early checkin.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was delicious.

I can't say there was anything we disliked

Very good

Nothing

Location, amenities, helpful and friendly staff

none

Beds were very comfortable and place was very clean. Breakfast was great also

the abundant grass for my dogs to walk and potty! sounds crazy but is so important when travelling with pets. we dont work well with little strips of grass

We liked everything about the hotel

The location is great

We come for the pool and water slide. Rooms are modern and great!

They canceled my reservation last minute

Na reason to cancel my reservation

Convenient and good amenities

Nothing really

Someone walked into our room unannounced at 3:30 in the morning. They walked out when they realized we were in there. Found out a couple of days later it was the security guard. When we complained the best the manager would do was refund the first night because she argued we had a good sleep the second night. Her apologies were empty and extremely rude. We were in the city for a conference and we were exhausted and this absolutely ruined our weekend. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel in my life. Stay away from this poorly managed hotel. I would give them a zero if the system would let me. Last night, I read through other online reviews and found out that registration mix ups is a very common issue with this hotel.

Very spacious room, clean and comfortable.

My catalytic converter was stolen from my car overnight and I was parked in view of the front desk. They could do better with security.

I've stayed in many places that offer a free breakfast, but this one was definitely better than most. In addition to the usual scrambled eggs and sausage, I was so happy to see hot oatmeal with walnuts and raisins! Coffee was great. Fresh fruit and yogurt, juice, milk, pancakes, etc. was all good. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the pillows! Sometimes hotel pillows are so hard but these were very comfortable. The room was so quiet too! When I was told there was a hockey team staying there, I got a little nervous because I was once a hockey mom and I know how excited the kids can get when staying in a hotel! I didn't hear a thing.

Amenities in the bathroom were limited, but they had the basics and that was just fine. No fault of the hotel, but plows were kept busy during the night taking care of all the snow which made it a bit loud when trying to sleep.

The pool was amazing, the rooms were great

You have to improve the WIFI

Location great - very clean bright room - very good buffet breakfast - lovely pool area.

Not a thing.

Very clean.

Had a little trouble getting on the internet, but did figure it out before phoning the front desk.

Breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity. Staff were very helpful

Wi Fi was not easy to connect. Staff provided immediate help by coming to the room.

Breakfast can be better, it was a lil boring

Friendly environment and staff

Great staff, room was clean & comfortable

The smell on level 4 was terrible - mildew/moldly. The room was great and had no smell, but the hallway was terrible.

Like the pool and location

Didn’t like hotel staff blocking delivery driver from bringing pizza to door, didn’t like the smart tv that you can’t use smart features on. Didn’t like the price compared to other hotel in area with better rooms and experience

Staff were very friendly throughout the hotel. Rooms were immaculate. Comfortable beds, blackout curtains, lots of outlets, and very roomy. The breakfast was fresh, there were lots of options and they even provide a To-go bag with fruit, yogurt and a muffin when check out. Great atmosphere, highly recommend.

Good breakfast super clean hotel

Breakfast and the swimming pool is exact for what we expected.

The soundproofing is insufficient, as we can hear footsteps coming from the room above.

The hostest was pleasant, beds are amazing and very clean. Feels like home away from home.

The bottle pumps for the soaps conditioner and cream were too small. This thin little line would come out and maybe spray the wall and had to pump like 3 times just to get enough shampoo for my hair and it is short. Same with the hand soap and conditioner

Clean and friendly staff

Good breakfast. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Hot tub was nice.

Noise from floor above me started at 6 a.m. Every day. Child running...I was surprised that I could hear this.

excellent breakfast, comfortable suite, and bed. good waterslide and pool for kids

surprise extra pet fee added on at the end. We thought it was included in the price for pet friendly hotel.

Swim pool and exercise room. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was good all day coffe appreciated

Parking was good and with plug ins available it was -30 but the parking lot could have been plowed better

Clean Good breakfast

No cancellation

The hotel is in a great location, the staff were friendly. It was in a some what quiet place, you don’t hear the traffic. The hotel has good parking and a lovely lobby.

Breakfasts were great, nice clean pool and area, comfortable beds and pillows...staff very accommodating...all good.

One of our regular to go to hotel

Zero

We came in late after a day of traveling. Check-in was quick and easy and beds were unbelievably comfortable!! Breakfast was so tasty and check-out quick and easy!! Amazing!!

Comfortable room size, beds and pillows were nice. Breakfast hours and selection was nice,

Check in wasn't until 4, bathroom cleanliness could of been better

Fine location clean self serve area .

The food was somewhat cool. Could have been hotter.

Pleasant respectful, front desk, staff who tried hard to accommodate our knees.

Everything worked out beautifully for us and we have no issues with the property.

Great location

The gentleman at the desk was very rude and not very helpful

The property is in a great location with lots of restaurants close by. It was very clean and comfortable.

The only negative thing I could say is about the water pressure. I found in the shower it could’ve been a little stronger, but other than that everything was good.

Good location and friendly staff

The staff were excellent. The lobby was bright and spacious. The rooms were also quite spacious.

Parking was a little limited.

Friendly staff

Breakfast was good. Location just a few blocks from our son's place so perfect.

The coffee in the breakfast area--awful. the kurrig in the rooms was good

Clean & comfortable, friendly welcoming staff.

A bit out of the way, but this also allows for less traffic and congestion

Quiet room, lovely staff and nice exercise room and pool.

Clean and quiet!

Breakfast was good.

Would like a pen & small notepad in room.

I had to add an extra night and that was handled quickly. Excellent breakfast, snacks and drinks available as well as toiletries, etc. Comfy beds. Very nice staff. Quiet.

Everything was excellent

My fav hotel ever! Clean , spacious rooms , great breakfast and extremely close to shopping! However they could do more to reward frequent guests besides having to pay into a program! Like my last check in yesterday ! temp problem with a credit card but i must have looked untrustworthy bc i was still required to pay a 500 dollar deposit for a one night stay! Not 50 , 100 or 250 but 500 dollars ! I get hotel policys but where does common sense and or loyalty come into play ??? Makes me rethink future stays

good stay very quite . best stay in this type of hotel we have ever had

Cleanliness and location. Quite

Breakfast was delicious. Would have liked different offerings on the 2 days we were there but it was good.

Provide real utenstils and cups and plates. Be green!

Clean room, good pillows. Breakfast was bad.

Great stay

Parking, location. Easy to get to

EV chargers not easy to use

Pool and animal friendly

The pull out bed on the couch was very uncomfortable.

Parking was limited, should having more space especially when big events are happening g in Edmonton and rooms are sold out. Even an overflow parking lot. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, the pool & hot tub were awesome.

Pillows were not comfortable at all

I liked the clean room, friendly atmosphere and staff willing to help out with the vehicle vandalism and theft of $600.00 worth😣

Staff (Michelle) was excellent. The hotel is good, the area around it is all under construction.

we came for a friends anniversary. Location was great. Staff was friendly.

Clean and quiet

The area is nice has sone new shopping complexes around. Only issue was when we were checking out we wanted to avoid using Credit Card and the staff member wasnt clear and ended up charging our credit card anyway

The rooms were spacious and clean. Not much noise from the hwy or other guests. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety, and the breakfast staff were friendly and polite. We appreciated the distance from the wedding venue in Morinville where we were attending my cousins wedding.

The air conditioning unit made a funny sound when it would turn off like a little animal was dying, more comical than anything.
