Hamilton House

We absolutely loved our stay at Hamilton House. The rooms and spaces are beautifully done and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Sandra took such wonderful care of us and was always attentive to our needs. Wendy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and truly gracious, adding a lovely personal touch to our stay. One of our favourite memories was the fireplace in the living room — it made the evening feel especially romantic and cosy. We’re so glad we decided to stop in Wilderness and stay at Hamilton House. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy this beautiful part of South Africa. Highly recommended!

Appartamento “privato”piccolo ma ci sono zone comuni nella struttura. La nostra camera comunque (come tutte) era dotata di cucina e salotto ma non ci sono porte o separazioni tra le stanze e questo può essere un problema sia per cucinare sia pee riposare se qualcuno vuole fare altro in casa

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the honeymoon suite. The room was huge. Comfortable. Loved the view and the fire. On site staff were amazing. Great communication before arrival and tips on what to do in the area. Secure parking.

Location was perfect. Wendy upgraded us (very kindly) to the honeymoon suite! Amazing room, fabulous view, neat and clean. The two cup cakes were a winner! Thank you!

Die fußläufige Lage zu den Restaurants.

Die Parkmöglichkeit ist sehr begrenzt. Wenn 2 Gäste große Autos haben, muss man sehr kurbeln um rein und raus zu kommen aufgrund der engen toreinfahrt.

Everything ....lovely room with patio onto small garden. Comunnal facilities on first floor and then great sun deck with loungers and gorgeous views onto green...then laggon and beyond the sea. Easy walk to restaurants.

All great really. Slightly annoying that you could have either kettle or toster but not a problem . Perhaps a small extension lead but not an issue Couldnt get tv working but didnt worry us

Fully equipped luxery appartement with a very comfortable bed. Few steps away from the small centre of Wilderness, perfect stop to relax and enjoy life. Our suite on the ground floor had a private terrace including a spacy away from the street to leave gear if you have some. Cosy coffy place a few houses away make for a perfect morning.

Everything. Wendy and her husband are si nice and helpful. Janet helps a lot to make your stay good. The appartment is spacious, confortable .. Thank you so much.

The view in the upper appartement is amazing. The kitchen is fully equiped and the bathroom very comfortable as well. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

كل شي جميل من مالك المكان متعاون حيث قام بترقية غرفتي الى غرفه اكبر وكذلك الاخ ماك موظف المكان متعاون جداً الغرفه نظيفه جداً وكذلك يوجد فلتر ماء للشرب وحطب للتدفئه وباركنق وقريب جداً من جميع الخدمات سوبر ماركت وصيدلية ومحطة بنزين و مجموعه من المطاعم وحديقة كبيره امام المنزل يستحق التجربة والتكرار ايضاً

The accommodation was superb. Exceptionally clean and spacious and the staff were extremely helpful.

There is nothing negative to add.

We could only stay one night but the room was huge, very clean and with everything you need in it and more. Very close to (2 min walk) to lovely restaurant ( Le Girls) which was perfect. Met at the door by McPrecious who was lovely, very helpful and is always on hand.

Shame about the load sharing but it is what it is, not their faults.

The room is well equipped and even some additional items like butter, milk, salt and pepper, coffee is provided. Great service from the owner and Macprecious who is on site.

Lovely, spacious and dog friendly as there is a lovely enclosed courtyard for my little 4 paw kiddos. The bed and bedding was superb and nice strong water flow in the shower. The little kitchen inside the unit came In very handy and Mc Precious was very friendly and helpful.

A little oven would have been ideal. There is a stove top, microwave the works so a a little oven may be overboard, but I needed it to prepare something for the dogs. No train smash, but that would have been great!

The location was great. We could walk everywhere be it the beach, lagoon, shops or restaurant.

Located close to restaurants, across the road from the river estuary and an open park. Beautiful outlook after a long day driving. I also had a small, pretty garden for my dog to enjoy. The decor is fresh and comfortable. The delicious cupcakes were a nice touch!

The manager, McPrecious, went off site in the late afternoon, away from the Wilderness with no fore warning. When it transpired that the key card for my suite stopped working after my check in, he wasn't available nor was the Booking.com contact, Wendy. The issue took over an hour to resolve. Wendy and James, the owners, contacted me as soon as they could, to apologise and ensure I had been able to get into my suite.

Well appointed suite, great location for the beach and restaurants with really helpful friendly staff.

We stayed in Jasmine Suite which has a private garden. The studio was spacious and clean. Our dog loved chilling in the garden. There is an indoor fireplace and we got enough wood to fire that up or have a braai. The house is very close to restaurants and bars, there is also a beach just opposite (it's not dog friendly so if you come with a dog, you'll need to drive).

The size and comfort of the room

A seamlessly easy booking and welcoming experience, and we loved the spaciousness and comfort of our well-appointed ground-floor Jasmine Suite - especially with our dog in tow. Wonderful king-size bed, plush linen and bedding, high-pressure shower, well-equipped kitchen and fabulous outside braai area.

I had a wonderful stay at Hamilton House with my Yorkie. We did a one night stop over while travelling to the Eastern Cape and the property exceeded my expectations. My only regret is not staying longer, so I will have to come back. The staff were extremely friendly, the location is perfect on the beach and within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops.

We were welcomend by McPrecious and enjoyed the spacious unit. The bed is very comfortable, kitchen well equiped, and we did not need for anything. Well situated and easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommended

Location & room (first one on the ground floor)…well appointed and perfect for a holiday stay. If we had stayed longer would definitely have used the braai area. Condiments made available which is thoughtful.

Not that clean…cobwebs above the shower, mildew around the shower floor, tea towels had a dank smell, wash sponge was fatty from previous use. Parking is very tight and tricky when guests have big cars - just glad we got there early enough.

Lovely apartment very clean and very well situated for walking to restaurants, galleries, shops and beach. Great green space for dog walking just opposite. McPrecious was very obliging and helpful. Just sorry this was an emergency last minute stopover as it would be lovely to stay longer.

It has every you need for self catering, nice little touches like oil, milk, butter and water. The place was perfect for what we needed.

There was no loadshedding generator or battery so no lights or anything worked during this time. But that's SA for you.
