Kudus Crest Bush Retreat

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Umgebung. Das Haus ist grosszügig und ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Perfekte Lage für den Besuch im Kruger Nationalpark. Die Tierbesuche sind ein Highlight. Das Preis-Leistungensverhältnis ist wirklich gut.

Die Sauberkeit war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Im Wohnzimmer und in der Küche waren Boden und Möbel teilweise klebrig und sehr staubig.

Schönes und riesiges Ferienhaus mit umfangreicher Ausstattung. Schöne Gartenanlage mit Grillplatz, Feuerstelle, Essbereich und kleinem Pool. Am Abend bekommt man Besuch von Impalas, Kudus und Warzenschweinen, welche man mit vorhandenen Wildtierfutter füttern kann. In den Nachbargärten haben wir sogar Giraffen und Zebras beobachtet.

Durch das schwache Licht im Haus wirkte es Abends etwas düster. Holprige Zufahrtsstraße.

Neat, clean with everything that you would need. Beds are comfortable with nice bedding. Variety of Animals are amazing!

The gravel roads in Marloth need some maintenance after the floods that makes traveling with car rental tricky, but not the owner’s responsibility. Just remember to bring your own salt&pepper and laundry detergent if you want to make use of the washing facilities. Which is tricky if you traveled by plane - luckily the “Save Mor” in Marloth does stock for purchase. We needed a wine bottle opener as well ,that was not available, but not a deal breaker☺️

Emplacement idéal dans Marloth Park, près du Parc Kruger. Petite piscine tres sympa, et des animaux qui passent tous les matins et tous les soirs, koudous, zèbres, phacochères, mangoustes, impalas et avec leurs bébés, un vrai zoo dans le jardin, c'etait trop top. Une maison très bien équipée, confortable avec 3 belles chambres et leurs salles de bain, et sur la terrasse à l'étage une tres belle surprise, une tente avec deux lits, presque dormir à la belle étoile en écoutant le cri des hyènes du Kruger. Contact avec Pieter tres facile, séjour parfait et quel dommage de quitter ce "zoo" si vite

Very comfortable accommodation with all the luxury of upper class accommodation. The proximity to animals and nature is priceless.

Casa super confortável e muito bem equipada. Ar-condicionado perfeito em todos os ambientes. Linda varanda com área para churrasco (2 churrasqueiras), forno à lenha, local para fogueira com amplo espaço para convívio. Piscina pequena mas ideal. Andar superior com quarto e banheiro e varanda com uma tenda com camas confortaveis e ar-condicionado. Idéia genial. Fica muito próximo do Two Trees para observação do Crocodile River e do Kruger. A localização da casa permite a visita de vários animais: wildbeast, bush buck, warthog, zebras, kudus, etc. Segurança perfeita. Anfitrião sempre disponível e atencioso.

So eine tolle Unterkunft, einfach herrlich. Die Kinder waren begeistert, der kleine Pool, die vielen Tiere, der Platz, die Freiheit, der Pizzaofen. ALLES:)

Nichts, vielleicht für Menschen, die harte Betten nicht mögen, ein Problem, aber die meisten mögen es ja :)

Cleanliness, the house has all the necessary utensils to make ones stay comfortable. Including an ice making machine. I really enjoyed the animal visits. I felt very safe too!

The pool was lovely however, the size is very limiting.

Pieter was absolutely amazing. He checked in regularly, and when the water and electricity went off, the property was fully prepared with a backup tank and inverter. Before our arrival, the heavy rains and flooding had me panicking, as we had to cancel part of our trip after losing access to the Kruger Park, but Pieter was incredibly patient and kept me updated throughout — and by the time we arrived, the rains had stopped. The outdoor area is perfect for spending time with the family, and we loved having so many animals around. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and we genuinely loved every moment of our stay.

Due to the heavy rains the roads were in poor condition, but we were still able to access the property — a little bumpy, but it added to the adventure.

Excellent facilities at the lovely accommodation including WiFi and TV services. The solar power system was very helpful during the electricity outage which took place on the first day of our stay at the accommodation. We could still prepare food on the gas stove, watch TV, and take a hot shower. Enjoyed the lovely visits at our doorstep from the wild animals and we were provided with wild feed to give them.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were absolutely amazed by this beautiful house. With three bedrooms plus an outdoor tent room equipped with air‑conditioning, it was the perfect size for our group. All rooms were spacious, and having three bathrooms was a real luxury. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped – nothing was missing. In fact, there were so many extra gadgets that we were genuinely impressed. You can feel that this house is thoughtfully set up, and because of that, we would happily book it again. The plunge pool was the perfect size to cool down, and experiencing zebras drinking right next to us while we were in the pool was truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime moment. The outdoor area had everything we could have wished for. The owner even left a bag of food for us to feed the animals – such a thoughtful gesture. Getting so close to these beautiful animals was simply “wow”. The owner was always available when needed, friendly, helpful, and offered outstanding service – a true 10/10. Thank you for making our holiday perfect. Vom Moment unserer Ankunft bis zu unserer Abreise waren wir von diesem wunderschönen Haus absolut begeistert. Mit drei Schlafzimmern plus einem klimatisierten Außenzeltzimmer war es genau die richtige Größe für unsere Gruppe. Alle Zimmer waren großzügig geschnitten, und drei Badezimmer zu haben war purer Luxus. Alles war sehr sauber und hervorragend gepflegt. Die Küche war unglaublich gut ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Im Gegenteil: Es gab so viele zusätzliche Geräte und Utensilien, dass wir richtig beeindruckt waren. Man merkt, wie durchdacht dieses Haus eingerichtet wurde, und genau deshalb würden wir es jederzeit wieder buchen. Der kleine Pool hatte die perfekte Größe, um sich abzukühlen, und während wir darin saßen, tranken Zebras direkt neben uns – ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das wir nie vergessen werden.

Het was niet zo duidelijk waar de receptie was. De mensen die er werkten waren wel heel vriendelijk. We hebben er super veel dieren gezien aan ons huisje. Het was het leukste verblijf dat we hadden in Zuid-Afrika.

Amazing spot in marloth park if you want something secluded but with all the animals literally on your doorstep. Mornings the kudus would be waiting for their snacks. Late afternoons the zebras and warthogs came to visit.

Words cannot describe how awesome this place is. 2 lounges, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and extra 2 beds in tented room on upstairs deck. Aircon in all rooms. Super comfy beds, great linen, fluffy towels. Kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything, besides the usuals you get,ice maker, dish washer, air fryer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board. And added bonus is having the animals come around looking for food, we had warthog, gnu, impala and Kudu that came by the most. I cannot recommend Kudus Crest highly enough.

The location was just perfect. And, there's a supermarket close by to stock up seeing that this was a self-catering unit. And, there are some restaurants in the area.

Something that got us a little confused was that the numbering of the houses on the street is not done in a sequential manner and we thought we were lost. On another note, and not that I didn't like, but that I didn't do research on was at what time the supermarket closed.

Accommodation looks just like the photos. Lots of animal traffic. We had a great stay.

Lots of animals coming to a spacious, very tidy and cool house (lots of powerful aircons). Supplying of allowed animal feed is a wonderful extra touch. The proper living room with TV, boardgames and comfortable couches was perfect for night times with kids still up but animals asleep. We did not want to leave and will definitely be returning.

The house is situated in the perfect spot where we received a lot of traffic from all the animals. The wall that is around the boma is perfect for close interactions with the animals but provides enough security so as not to feel threatened. Overall the house was amazing.

The accommodation was exceptional. We had a great stay. The house was fully equipped, clean and very safe, it felt like home. We had multiple animal visits each day. I highly recommend Kudus Crest it was AMAZING.

The animals visiting at night was awesome and we enjoyed feeding them. The night live is amazing. The unit is a very comfortable stay. The WiFi is a great bonus - thank you.

The cleanliness of the unit can be worked on as well as the kitchen equipment - to be a bit more specific - pots, pans, salad bowl, dishes for warm prepared foods. These unfortunately had some dirty marks and stains still on and some are chipped. The lightning in the rooms is a bit challenging. Brighter lights inside would be great.

Our 6 nights stay at Kudus Crest was one of our best experience ever. The house is beautiful, clean, with multiple details and features that made our stay unforgettable. We loved the 3 spacious bedrooms with comfortable bathrooms, the well equipped kitchen, the pool, the fire places, the pizza oven. Ŵe got daily multiple visits of gentle kudus, zebras, limpalas, warthogs, mangooses, all sort of birds and even girafes and we were so excited to be able to feed them. We enjoyed every other day game drives in Kruger since the Crocodile gate is only 20 mn away, but our days at home were just as wonderful. The house is well equipped with solar PV + Battery bsckup system so we never experienced any power issue. Thank you Pieter for being so reactive and helpful, we can only recommend this house and don't want to go anywhere else when we come back to Marloth. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!.

The place was exceptional it blew away my expectations.we loved everything about the place.very clean all the amenities were fully there the 3 nights ended like a day.if you looking for a place to unwind with friends or family thats the place to go.

It’s a beautiful place it’s a beautiful house

You not allowed to talk what so ever. I went with friends and family, it was six of us for my birthday weekend and new years from the 30th of December till the 1ste of January. I get it’s an animal park and that there are other people, we were sitting outside at the boma and just talking, we six people so obviously we have to talk a bit loud for the six person to also hear me and they told us we making noise, we ended going inside the house still we were making noise, to me it felt personally, cause I went outside while the other were in the house just to make sure if we are really loud and I couldn’t hear anything. The following day we decided to go out and only came back to sleep so that we won’t make noise. We were six people talking only loud enough so everyone can hear and that for them was too loud, so I guess they wanted us to whisper. Our next door neighbour were making more noise than us and I didn’t see anyone come to make them quiet. As I sad for me it seemed very personal. Will definitely never again book anywhere in Marloth park again.

Modern and well-kept house, exactly as described and pictured. Location is fantastic - lots of animals visited us (warthogs, blue wildebeest, kudus, duikers, zebras and even a giraffe). Plus it is only a short drive to the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the KNP. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has all necessary utensils, crockery and cookware. Backup power is a huge bonus. We enjoyed being outside around the boma. Highly recommended!
