- location - had the waterfront apartment so just a gorgeous view - super spacious apartment - large kitchen - comfortable bedding - spa bath was fantastic

- very minor, could use with a second Telly in the main bedroom. - wish we got to stay longer!

The accommodation was in a great spot across from the bay, with plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. The town is one of the most beautiful places we have been to. An amazing turquoise coloured Bay & behind the town are stunningly beautiful, snowtopped mountains. Seals, dolphins & whales frequent the bay, we watched two seals for a couple of hours while we had a few drinks & a bite to eat at The Pier Hotel.

Did not realise there were 2 single beds in one of the bedrooms. Great for people with children

Bed was excellent, felt like sleeping on a cloud. Pillows matched the bed. Decor was nice in the lounge, bedroom and had a brand-new bathroom. Dedicated parking onsite which was great, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming.

We picked this location because we wanted to be by the ocean, but we got put out the back, where you could not hear the ocean. Room configuration was very strange, and the so-called bathroom was straight out of a tiny home. Bathroom was brand new but ridiculously small for a motel. No hair dryer, no washer/dryer so could not do our washing as we had planned. Overall, a disappointing stay because the room simply did not match my expectations.

The bathroom is a bit small; it does not have a showbox to stop the water going out. there is no place to hang or place clothes.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We only had an overnight stay we would have liked to stay longer. The apartment was warm and cosy and the sofa super comfy! There are great coastal walks around the area and we went to see the seals basking on the beach. The shops and restaurants were close by and we would recommend Street Eats - delicious food and good value.

No hand towels , no shelf in bathroom. Also no hooks for clothes in bathroom and no bathmat - as it was a “wet” bathroom the entire floor was slippery.

Right on the Waterfront, Comfy Bed, lots of room, everything there that we needed. Will stay again.

The 30m to the beach with perfect sunrise. The 1hr trek to see the seal colony and the full 3hr trek around the peninsula The café and restaurants in the main street only 10mins walk. Hotel had full kitchens and went further by offering salt/pepper and oil. The New World supermarket does delivery. Staff helped out and made us feel welcome even during the holidays.

The beach is a stone beach. Don't come expecting sand.

Lovely comfortable apartments, which suits our group of 4 down tithe ground, n very roomy.

So close ti sea, and you can see more than a glimpse, e have booked 8n for next year 2027 as well now, as have been given a discount for staying there quite a bit.

Great view right by the sea, has everything we need, great water pressure. Most importantly, host is so friendly and helpful. We were there when Kaikoura had a flooding emergency, and the host was very accommodating about our situation, and provided valuable guidance and support. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great experience in Kaikoura!

The location is perfect, overlooking the beach. We watched an amazing sunrise over the sea from our room(No 2) The place was spotlessly clean, warm and had very comfy beds. We will definitely be back.

The only thing would be that there was a spa bath with a shower over it. I talked with the lovely owner, and she said they were thinking of changing the bath for a walk-in shower. It wouldn't stop me going back though.

The main bedroom was very small.

Instructions for the washing machine were great but need to have further instructions about using the dryer.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and homely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We also loved the waterfront view!

This apartment was fabulous. We were situated on the ground floor right at the front overlooking the water. The two bedroom apartment had a fully functioning kitchen with lots of amenities as well as a washer/dryer. Free Onsite parking. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Very little seafood restaurants and seafoods are expensive, but not the fault of the property.

I booked 1bedroom apt. I was put into studio, round the back and facilities were not as advertised. No wardrobe, hanging space cupboards to put clothing. Dirty carpet. Mould in bathroom. Broken tiles in bathroom and kitchenette. Disgusting smell of bleach and small boxy bathroom floor when wet was slippery and I fell over. The floor felt, when wet, slimey..No work surface for toaster other than in the sink! as the lead on the toaster did not reach the plug on other side of basin. I was not made aware of " no view , no kitchen," until by email the night before check in. When I queried by return email I was told I would be able to make tea or coffee. I had to put a towel on the floor in the shower area so I did not slip and fall again. There was an old non working air con unit still in situ and an now not used tv wall bracket still in situ..I used this to hang up my coat! All in all this was horrendous but no owner on site to talk to just a receptionist with a poor command of the English language. I request a full refund and any out of pocket costs as a result of my fall in the shower due to slippery, not safe, bathroom fall. I did report fall to reception and was offered clean towels. I have more photos should they be required I actually stayed 2 nights though I note it has 1 night at the heading of this review.

The location was excellent and free parking on site is a bonus. The apartment was spacious enough and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Seating in the lounge area was inadequate for 4 adults, 1 not very comfy armchair and a 2, maybe 2.5 seater, lounge. The accessible bathroom, which we didn't need, did not have anywhere to put toiletries. If you lowered the seat you could not comfortably use the shower and there was nothing around the basin area to sit things. There was quite a lot of noise from the upstairs units throughout the night. We were only there 2 nights so just put up with it.

办公室接待人员服务热情，帮我们电话联系看鲸船票，得知看鲸船票告罄，又主动推荐并联系观海豚船票，我们如愿以偿。还建议我们用空闲时间去point kean Viewpoint 周边游玩，我在那里看到了超多的海豹，我们深深感觉这次入住物超所值。旅店位置向东贴近海边，早晨看日出极为方便。我们住的家庭房可以做饭洗衣，还有洗碗机用！我们住得非常非常满意。
