Reviewed Mar 27, 2026お風呂はとてもよく、部屋も快適です。スタッフも親切で丁寧な接客です。小さな温泉街なので、ぶらぶら歩いて食べ歩きしたり、他の温泉に入る（温泉手形利用）ことができて、黒川温泉全体の雰囲気を楽しめました。
素泊まりプランは，もう少し安いといいなと思います。また、温泉街のお店が早めに閉まっていたり、定休日だったりしました。素泊まりプランがあるなら、夜までやっているお店を増やして欲しいです。

I came here with my partner, expecting to be able to go to a mixed bath together. Turns out, they state it is a mixed bath, but in reality it isn't. The mixed area is reserved for men, and it is in no way comfortable for a women to be present there. That would be fine, if the women only bath was better maintained, but it was extremely limited and not well maintained. This made us feel like women were not really welcome in the public bath area - not as advertised. Also, this place in general was running down. The swimming pool was half filled and not useable. The sauna was closed. On the way to the dining room, there was a really unmaintained area that we have to walk through, which clearly shows this place is not taken care of. For the amount of money we paid (close to $600), this was very disappointing, especially as we have been to other ryokans for less and had a much better experience.

Annex building is incredibly cold. Air conditioner is not able to warm it up, so we asked for a heater and it took some time and arguing to get it. I understand fire safety concerns, but all initial answers were “no, we can not provide heater” and I felt stupid that I bag to convince hotel team to give it. But even with the heater it was still cold. Cleaning is not good, dust was everywhere. Also be ready that the room is very small, I didn’t expect it from ryokans. Mixed gender onsen is very small and full of men who came here from onsen hoping. All these men looked weird, they were waiting for women to come. By some reason, swimming suits or even towels are not allowed, I guess to keep these men visiting. Almost no Japanese stuff works here. Dinner was fine, but we felt rushed - dishes were coming too soon, when we even didn’t finish the previous one. I regret staying here unfortunately, it doesn’t work it’s money.

因為住過別間旅館所以有對比 覺得奧之湯的舊館不是很推薦 房間太陳舊，牆壁都會掉灰那種 廁所管線氣味很臭 湯屋木頭腐蝕也很嚴重 有些硬體需維護修繕了 餐食比較普通 晚間（還在湯屋開放時間）櫃檯有時候會暫離，拿鑰匙要等

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026This is an incredible stay Onsen with some of the most unique Onsens. There are 3 mixed gender Onsens which is pretty unique for Japan (no bathing suits). There are many other Onsen choices that are gender specific. The food is great and the manger Ikebe was exceptional. Another supervisor (a woman) was also exceptional. A little walk to town, easy walk. I would highly recommend having or renting a car.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026清潔感があったこと。 スタッフも親切でした。 夜テレビが見れなかったのですが、おじさんスタッフでしたが夜間は対応できない、だけではなくてこうしたらいいんじゃないか、ごめんなさいね、と。こういう人間味が冷たくなくてよかったです。その後そのやり方をしたら見れました。 温泉が感動。湯船からの景色が良くてセンスがありました。
特にありません。 ただ高齢の方や車椅子の方には黒川温泉は段差がありすぎて無理だなと。温泉、雰囲気、自然それはとてもお勧めしたいのにとても残念に思います。

不管是大浴場或家庭池的溫泉水溫竟然都不夠熱，淋浴設備的水溫更是不穩，有些位置是冷的，有些是微溫而已。勉強洗完後，要吹頭髮時，連吹風機都不熱！！ 真的讓人傻眼🙄

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026A very good and authentic experience for Japanese onsen. The food was amazing and the hot spring is spot on. Unlike other touristy onsen attractions, kurokawa onsen is much quieter and peaceful.
It’s a bit of downside that men’s hot spring lacks of maintenance (there’s some issues with the shower and some amenities not provided). However, the women’s is perfectly fine according to our travel partner.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026溫泉泉質很棒，露天風呂也很棒，其中洞窟風呂很特別。早餐和晚餐都是日式套餐料理，感受的到料理長的用心，好吃且精緻。自駕停車有免費停車空間。下次來會再選擇入住！
房間內有露天浴池，但沒有洗澡淋浴的設備，有點美中不足，希望可以增設洗澡淋浴的設施！

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Espai i atenció immillorables, et sentiràs millor que a casa. Espais agradables i ben decorats. L'onsen és dels millors de tot Kurokawa. Els banys exteriors mixtos són especials, dels pocs que queden al Japó. El menjar és molt bo, sobretot la vedella. Un somni de lloc, que recomanaria a tothom que vulgui uns dies de relaxació i desconnexió. Està una mica apartat del nucli urbà. El cotxe no és imprescindible, però si molt còmode si us voleu moure per la zona i provar altres onsen que també estiguin apartats.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026Les bains extérieurs de cet établissement sont incroyables, ils donnent vue sur une cascade illuminée la nuit, c’était magnifique. Le charme du ryokan, avec son décor authentique mais des fenêtres bien isolées ont été appréciés, à fortiori avec ce temps hivernal. Le yukata était vraiment très joli.
Le personnel n’était pas aussi attentif pendant les repas que dans d’autres ryokan, peut être qu’il y avait trop de clients ou un employé absent. Il n’y avait pas de moisturizer ou râpe pour les pieds parmi les produits proposés.

Reviewed Jan 28, 2026Best Onsen Ryokan so far visiting Kurokawa for the 4th time, great choices of onsen at different hours. We also found the meals sizes more friendly and not over the portion like many other ryokans in the region, didn't need to feel bad not being able to finish all the food.

L'accueil est de très haute qualité, la décoration du lobbie, de la chambre et de tout le reste de l'hôtel est magnifique. La chambre était d'une propreté irréprochable, avec de nombreux équipements et de petites attentions offertes, le onsen et le sento privatifs étaient parfaits. Et surtout, le petit déjeuner copieux, composé de produits locaux et si bien présenté, était une merveille, surtout avec la baie vitrée offrent un panoramique sur la forêt. Un lieu magique et incontournable.

温泉着きの和洋室で、川のせせらぎが聞こえる落ち着けるお部屋でした。至る所 木をふんだんに使ってあり、和を味わう外国のかたも喜ばれそうです。 ただ、タオル類、シーツ類が からっとしてなく 湿った感じがしました。柔軟剤のせいかとも思いました。

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026なんといってもロケーションと雰囲気が良い。宿単体でも観光しているような気分になれて美しい宿だった。接客も丁寧にしていただき、駐車や荷物の運び込みなどをやっていただけてとても楽だった。朝食も日本食らしく小鉢をたくさん楽しむことができてよかった。総じて素晴らしい宿。
強いて言えば露天風呂はやや冷たかった。朝だったからか、あるいは様々な年齢層に配慮しているからか。家族風呂は適温だったように感じる。あとシャワーのホースに小さな穴が開いていて隣の人に水が飛んでいってしまうのに気を付けなければならなかった。ただいずれも美点を帳消しにするものではなく、おすすめの宿。
