The room allocated to us was right above the ballroom and the sound coming from the ballroom was extremely loud and unbearable. Thankfully, the manager agreed to change our room and upgraded us to a higher and better room. Grateful for the upgrade.

Snacks & drinks at lounge were limited to evening service hours only. Would be nice if one more service period during early afternoon hours was included.

Hotel connect to harbour bay so easy walk to hotel even if rain. Service officers at the counters in the check in lobby were pleasant . they allow early checkin and also allowed us later check out. The housekeeping team wrote message card and present us some complimentary hi tea cakes. Lounge area and bar have good views. Nothing much at lounge area during noon.Bed are comfortable.Overall a pleasant stay.

The breakfast provides a lot of varieties of food, but the local dessert with the kwehs can definitely be better. The hotel staff are all very friendly and nice. We love the hotel facilities with nice spa, gym and nice pools. I especially like the altitude rooftop bar with nice ambience and scenery. Generally, I would recommend to stay in this hotel comparing to other 3 that I previously stayed in Batam

One annoying thing is the noisy crows at the pools due to uncleanliness of the ferry harbour.

Had a great 3-night stay at the Marriott Hotel Batam! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—so many options and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome. The location is also excellent, convenient and close to everything we needed. The price was not cheap, but affordable. Only two reasons I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the room style felt a bit dated and the faulty keyless room entrance. They promised to send an engineer to fix the issue (we almost requested to re-program the card 3-4 times every day) but they didn’t —a refresh would make this place perfect. Still, overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back!

Service par excellent. Shout out to Gracia at reception, Dura at Altitude, floor manager in Goji on 2/8/2025. All staff makes an effort to speak to us.

It was very comfortable. Food was great. Most importantly, the staff was so lovely. All were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were well cared for. I wish I could name them all, but to name a few: Vanessa, Violina, Jennifer, Adhit, Friska and Rejal.

It's a great staycation. The front office staff is very professional. They understand our needs. Our rooms were well decorated. Cindy and Nella at the front desk were very Pleasant and Professional with our needs.. Meal was great I would compliment Cindy ,Nella and the front desk for the wonderful stay. Excellent location, just above the harbour, the staff were accommodating, able to give us connecting room and while waiting for the rooms to be ready, they gave us a temporary room to rest as I have 2 old folks and 2 children! The room was clean and bed was comfy and the breakfast buffet spread was exquisite and lots to eat and try! I love the beehoon and their Indonesia cuisine. Will sure stay again and recommend my friends too!

Stayed 1 night in the deluxe twin ocean view room. Very beautiful hotel . Would stay longer next round. Must swim in their pool. Infinity pool without the heavy price tag.

Staff are very friendly and approachable. They are very well trained to handle special incidents or requests. The staff who serviced my room, Sihol and Rifky, are exceptional. Breakfast is fantastic, with very wide international and local selections. The swimming pool is great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Annisa, Raka, Sally and Mr. Lee took good care of us at the Goji restaurant. I have forgotten some names, but there was not a single person who was not friendly. The musicians at Goji were very good too. They accommodated our requests quickly, and played wonderfully well (the keyboard player, the sax player, the guitar player, and the lady singer). The location of the hotel is also excellent.

The rooms did not have strong glass windows, as a result of which we could hear loudspeakers early in the morning, and other sounds of people celebrating at night. The air-conditioning unit also cut off constantly at night, creating noise and fluctuations in room temperature

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott at Harbour Bay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The team went above and beyond by decorating our room beautifully and even surprised us with a complimentary cake. The thoughtful gestures made our celebration extra special. we had our order mix up at Goji during dinner, but i would like to applaud the staff for their service recovery and patience. I would like to give my special compliment to their manager as he was extremely cool, apologetic and polite about ensuring we get what we need. Unfortunately, we didn't get his name, but he is a local, around 170cm. The hotel is blessed to have him and his team.

breakfast queue during peak period could be better managed as there was no single queue system. A few staff were taking seat request at the same time, which means it depends on your luck if you get your seat first.

I loved the well-mannered staff ... they greet you using your name. They remember each guest and served us exceptionally well. The cleanliness of the place is amazing. Food for breakfast was incredibly good. Room was very clean. I did not travel anywhere else as the nearby shopping mall was good enough. It is so close to the ferry terminal just a few walking steps away.

Service at the Rooftop Altitude could have more competent servers. I had to remind them several times that i was entitled to complimentary cocktails. Service was slow (but food was good)

TV didnt have either netflix or other OTT apps including IPTV or any other options of TV entertainment. No HDMI available to connect to our portable devices either. The available list of English and Indian shows in the TV was a big disappointment. The spa rates were too expensive and also the lack of proper authentic vegetarian options in the menu.

The breakfast spread is awesome! Compared to other hotels, Marriott offers the biggest variety. The staff at the restaurant always provide excellent service. Great job, keep it up!

The breakfast menu should be changed at least every year or two. For regular guests who stay at the hotel, after a couple of months or years, it feels repetitive since the menu stays the same. The only change I’ve noticed is in the mini bar—used to have chocolate in the fridge, but now it's no longer provided. I wonder why?

Everything is great! The hotel is just above the Harbour Bay, very convenient. Room is spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. Swimming pool is clean with nice sea view especially during 4-6pm. On top of that, the hotel staff are the best. They very helpful and efficient, especially Kevin who made our stay at the hotel very enjoyable. He was very patient in answering our questions, recommending food in Batam and explaining the culture and religion. He introduced us to the restaurant's chef Dinar, who personally prepared for us a unique Batam local cuisine Ketupat (traditional rice cake), rendang sapi (beef rendang), sambal goreng hati (fried potota with chicken liver), absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! We’ll come back again.

Too many calls to my room when im suffering from jetlag and i dont know why they call

I would like to bring a few points into concern. First of all, when I arrived at Marriott at 9.30 I was told to await for available room, and thus I had wanted to have some juice and pain Au chocolat at the illy cafe next to counter. Not only did they forget both of these orders, I had to stand up and walk over 2 times to ask for each (because they forgot both). I only have had 2 hours sleep at that point, it was frustrating to see others have their food and drinks while we waited for 30mins without anything. When I gotten into my room, I must admit that the room looks good and I need to rest after. I was awaken up by screaming kids by the pool who were so rowdy (with music playing) that it woke me up from my sleep. It’s been very upsetting as it went on for more than 1 hour. Even after I called the concerige they said they will ask the people to quiet down but I’m not even sure if they did anything as the noise kept going on. The concerige said, “the pool is close at 8pm as well.” But I felt it was not very appropriate to advise your guest to just live with the noise until 8pm as we are paying customers too. They did help changed our room after eventually, but while it was quieter, the room we got was smaller overall. I don’t really felt it was fair overall even thought we paid more for balcony but it didn’t felt like we had any choice on the matter. There’re much more but Expedia has comment limits.

A good stay. First time here with my family and we took the sea view. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast a good spread. Decent amount of nearby eateries and marts. Good location for a short getaway. Oh yes. Do visit the spa while here. Very shiok.

Our room was upgraded to the club room and it was a surprise! Love the room (just ask for a room away from the elevator, if possible). The roof top bar is must-go for sunset. Drinks were fabulous! We also went for the ESKA spa and suggest to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Will definitely come back again.

Lovely comfortable hotel, very conveniently located next to harbour Bay ferry terminal, good having nearby small mall, yet also convenient to order grabcar to get around nearby places. Nice infinity pool to enjoy the seaview and corner of Batam.

The club lounge food (only available for guests staying high floor) was mediocre, I'm contrast to the decent breakfast buffet.

Breakfast buffet was awesome. Great selection. And the jazz band in the evening is always the highlight of our stay.

Some additional things that could make the stay better - Could have implement more recreational things such as pool table/table tennis table - Make room TV smarter with Netflix/smart share - Can implement different types of pillow to suit clients taste

Had a few great days here, staffs were very friendly and helpful. My wife celebrated her birthday and the staffs were enthusiastically making her stay wonderful and memorable. Good for a quiet getaway of relaxation and rest.
