Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The room was clean and decent in size. Staff were friendly. The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of options to choose from and they changed some of the options everyday. The hotel is in a great location with subway of 2 mins walk and bus stop very near the hotel.
The only thing is that I was not used to is the bathroom. The way it was designed left you no where to put towel and clothes inside the bathroom.

The only downside was that the window could not be opened, which made the room feel a little less ventilated.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Camera da 4 molto spaziosa (avevamo anche un letto in più) e dotata di macchina del caffè, bollitore, phon e TV. Bagno stupendo e spazioso. Pulizia impeccabile. Ottimo il fatto di avere ben 4 lavatrici a gettoni a disposizione, oltre ad acqua e ghiaccio gratuiti. Check in automatizzato, ma personale sempre disponibile ed accogliente. Colazione buona. Posizione ottima per visitare la città e i dintorni.
In generale mi sono trovata molto bene in questa struttura e la consiglio vivamente. Lascio giusto un paio di suggerimenti per migliorare ulteriormente: aggiungerei qualche portata dolce in più alla colazione e aggiungerei un paio di supporti in bagno per appendere gli asciugamani.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026La stanza era davvero deliziosa, in uno stile a metà tra il giapponese e l'occidentale, con delle luci molto particolari che arricchivano l'atmosfera. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, 3 minuti a piedi dalla metro più vicina e in generale in una buona zona. Molto comodi i Locker per i bagagli.
Lo staff è un po' sbrigativo, il check in è stato gestito in modo un po' confusionario, per il resto tutto bene.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Buena ubicación, relativamente cerca de la estación en taxi. Habitación amplia con suelo de tatami y baño distribuido en ducha e inodoro en sendos cuartos separados y el lavabo justo a la entrada de la habitación, antes del tatami. Eso hace que el baño sea cómodo. Buena limpieza en la habitación y en el hotel en general, que además proporciona amenities en recepción. El desayuno es correcto, con distintas opciones locales e internacionales. Es un hotel autogestionado: haces el check-in y check-out en unas máquinas, sin intervención de personal, pero siempre hay personal disponible por si lo necesitas. De hecho, quiero destacar la enorme ayuda que nos prestó Takekawa, una de las recepcionistas, para gestionar el envío de maletas a otro hotel: nos ayudó con los trámites y fue tremendamente amable, servicial y profesional. También nos ayudaron con la lavandería: el hotel dispone de lavadoras de autoservicio, pero nosotros contratamos a una empresa externa que viene a recoger la ropa al hotel y luego te la devuelven limpia, y el hotel se encargó de hacer la entrega y recogida de la ropa por nosotros.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Établissement proche du centre-ville de Kyoto, à 2 pas d’une bouche de métro. Propre et bien équipé, les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses. Commodités proches. On ne voit pas trop le personnel (accueil…) mais tout est extrêmement bien fait.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Good location. It is walkable distance to the train station and Nijo castle and Gion (20 - 30 min). Deliciuos and hearty breakfast. Washing machine, smoking room are in the holel too.
It was quite hard to check in with the automatic mashine.

Drewniane widelce, ktorymi nie dało się jeść, plastikowe filiżanki do kawy i plastikowe kubki do zimnych napojów; brak informacji o tym, że rejestracja w hotelu jest dokonywania samodzielnie (automat), brak oprozniania kosza w łazience, bardzo mała i niska lazienka.

Delicious Japanese style breakfast (although there are also western options), clean and spacious rooms, beautiful room interior with tatami mats. Super kind staff at breakfast. Honestly we felt cared for and relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel in Kyoto.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Prachtig uitzicht (geboekt) op de Kyoto Tower en de naastgelegen gigantische Hongan-ji tempel. Badkamer ruim en de tatami matten en sfeerverlichting heel goed gedaan in deze "Twin Hollywoodkamer". Ontbijtbuffet heerlijk met variatie, zowel continentaal als Japans ontbijt. Wasmachine/drogers (4 stuks!) werken prima. Uitstekende locatie op loopafstand van Kyoto Station en kruip afstand van de metro. Lockers heel prettig voor baggage op dag van vertrek of aankomst.
Er was effectief één type kussen beschikbaar, type "pipe pillow" die voor buik slapers niet geschikt is. Er waren helaas geen alternatieven beschikbaar in het hotel; wel in een warenhuis op loopafstand 😉.
