Hôtel situé à 15 min en transports publics ou 8 min en taxi de la gare de Kyoto, proche à pied des quartiers intéressants et du marché, du temple Higashi-hongan-ji et des lignes de bus pour les grands temples. Chambres petites mais très confortables et joliment aménagées (pas de penderie mais place sous les lits pour les sacs ou valises pas trop grandes) et parfaitement insonorisées. Personnel très accueillant et attentif. Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel

The property was in a very good location and good distance to everything.

The only critic I would give is that breakfast was served and one felt like it was a little repetitive. That said it was tasty.

朝食が本格的なタイ料理ですごく美味しかった。 タイ料理以外の選択肢もあるがおすすめはタイ料理！ 夜ご飯も食べたが、どのお料理も美味しく、タイ料理初体験の高校生も絶対また来ると喜んでいました。 宿泊するとレストラン利用時にお得になるクーポンをもらえるのも良かった。

場所は少し不便な場所にあるかと思う。あと、レストランがフロントの導線にあるので、ちょっと忙しない感もある。

El trato del personal deja mucho que desear. No fueron nada amables, y en el desayuno que tenías que pagar aparte por pedir un café o un café con leche en condiciones, estaban más pendientes de que les pagaras que de tratarte con amabilidad. Por cierto, el desayuno muy limitado porque solo te ofrecen 4 menús cerrados sin poder elegir nada más que uno de ellos y no tampoco son buenos y solo uno de ellos es americano. Y las habitaciones pequeñas y para que las limpien no es fácil aclararte. No lo recomendaría para nada.

Das ASAI Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen – die nächste U-Bahn-Station erreicht man in nur etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Unser Abendessen wurde schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war für japanische Verhältnisse angenehm geräumig, nach europäischen Maßstäben eher klein, aber modern und komfortabel. Besonders praktisch fanden wir den Geldwechselautomaten direkt im Hotel. Der Wechselkurs war sogar der beste, den wir während unserer Reise gefunden haben.

Hotel was great. Rooms are small but very clean and modern. Walking distance to great restaurants and the subway system. Quite location so no noise at night.

Super friendly staff, very helpful, rooms were spacious enough for suitcases, quiet. They also gave us a hand drawn artwork for our honeymoon! Very sweet.

AC points directly at the bed which can be a bit uncomfortable at night but otherwise no large complaints.

Unser Zimmer war im Keller, zwar hatte es ein Fenster aber dies war in der Buchung nicht ersichtlich. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Hotels auf unserer Japanreise war es auch nicht besonders gut geputzt.

L’ambiance chaleureuse, l’accueil et surtout le sourire du personnel. Tous disponibles et serviables, la literie est également superbe ! La nourriture généreuse et très bon. On note la propreté aussi facteur important. Le petit clin d’œil avec une carte faite main en guise de notre lune de miel c’était trop mignon.

Camera e struttura confortevole, pulite e accoglienti. Diciamolo, gli spazi sono anche comodi per essere in Giappone. Posizione strategica, in quanto la struttura è a pochi passi dalla metro: hotel consigliatissimo. Se dovessi tornare a Kyoto, prenoterei sicuramente con Asai.

Very attentive staff, good location, spacious and modern, clean - over-all a great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was the most comfortable during our trip to Japan with generous pillows. The room had great storage and the toiletries were really luxurious. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

No laundry facilities but there's a coin laundry nearby we were directed to. The breakfast options were generous portions but limited choice - would have liked smaller portion options some days.

Desde que llegamos, el trato fue muy coordial por parte del staff. La ubicación del hotel bastante conveniente y la calidad en instalaciones cumplieron nuestras expectativas. Mi familia disfrutó del alojamiento ahí! :)

Chambre propre et confortable. Personnel au bar très sympathique. Accueil parfait et arrangeant pour les bagages. On a fait livrer nos valises et laissé quelques heures après le check out. Emplacement sympa et bien situé, proche des transports et de bars et restaurants, mais aussi shopping. Très pratique pour visiter les principaux sites.

Pas de laverie, ce qui aurait été pratique pour notre séjour. Mais c'était annoncé, donc pas de surprise.

De kamer was heerlijk. De ruimte was groot genoeg, praktisch ingericht en bood voldoende opbergruimte voor onze twee grote koffers. Daarnaast was de kamer sfeervol, schoon en comfortabel. Alles bij elkaar zorgde dit voor een ontzettend prettig verblijf.

De locatie lag iets verder van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden. Het was ongeveer 8 à 10 minuten lopen naar de metro en zo’n 15 à 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Toch was dit goed te doen, mede dankzij de Luup-fietjes die je gemakkelijk bij de FamilyMart kon parkeren. Hierdoor konden we ons alsnog snel en eenvoudig verplaatsen.

The hotel is really new, the location is fantastic and it is well connected.

Breakfast was a choice between fixed menus. After the third day it was a bit repetitive. Like many other hotels, no wardrobe in the room.

28인치정도 되는 캐리어 2개 끌고갔는데 침대 밑에 캐리어 넣는 공간이 따로 마련되어있어서 좁다는 느낌이 딱히 없었고 화장실이랑 세면대가 분리되어있어서 아침에 바쁜데 일행이랑 씻는시간 겹칠 일도 없어서 좋았어요ㅎㅎ 전체적으로 엄청 깔끔하고 잘 정돈 된 인상이였던 숙소고 1층 로비에는 식당이랑 바?같은것도 있어서 저녁먹고 즐기기 좋았던 것 같아요!!! 그리고 무엇보다 숙소 위치가 너무너무 좋음…..메인 거리까지 걸어서 다니기 충분하고 근처에 세븐,패밀리마트도있고 신사도있고 존맛케이크집도있어서 2박 묵는동안 너무 젛았습니다 다음에 교토 또 놀러갈 일 있으면 또 방문하고싶어요!!!! 직원분들도 다 너무너무 친절하셨고 그냥 전부 다 만족스러웠습니다! 그리고 제공된 잠옷이 너무 편했어서 진짜 구매할 수 있으면 사고싶었음…

방음도 잘 되고 좋았는데 숙소 바로 옆이 골목?길이라서 가끔 자동차 소리가 들리긴했어요 근데 진짜 주택가 골목길이라 도로변처럼 거슬릴정도로 지나가진않았어서 자는데 문제가 생기진않았습니다!

Raised tatami beds were super cool. Also the fact that you are sleeping on level with the window is great. Hotel esthetics and staff were great. Location is also crucial here..in the center, but in a quiet area. Within 5m walk to the Gojo and Shijo metro stations...and 20 mins on foot from the Gion district.

We chose ASAI Kyoto Shijo because it offered great value for a 4-star hotel, and the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, the experience didn't feel like a 4-star stay. Our room was extremely noisy, and we could hear other guests talking, doors slamming, and people moving around throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. To the hotel's credit, the staff were apologetic and kindly offered to move us to another room after we raised the issue. However, our overall experience didn't match the standard we were expecting from a 4-star property.

There were a few things that disappointed us. The hotel felt much more like a hostel than a 4-star property. It was very noisy, with guests talking, doors closing, and people coming and going late into the evening and from very early in the morning. We were woken around 4am every morning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The restaurant also felt more like a canteen than a hotel dining space, and there were often large groups of teenagers staying at the hotel, which added to the busy atmosphere. I was also disappointed by the size of the room. From the photos, the rooms appeared much larger, but when we arrived it became clear that the images had been taken using mirrors and wide angles that made the space look significantly bigger than it actually was. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because I believed the rooms would be more spacious. Had the photos reflected the room size more accurately, I would likely have booked a different hotel that I was originally considering, such as MAANA, where larger rooms were a priority for us. The staff were friendly and did their best to help, but overall the experience didn't match what we expected from a 4-star hotel.

Extrem sauber und perfekte Ausstattung. Freundliches Personal und hervorragendes Frühstück. Es gibt 5 Varianten zur Auswahl mit Curry, Suppe, etc bis hin zu europäischen Frühstück. Jeden 1. Und 3. Samstag gibt es eine Meiko-Tanzvorführung. Die Lang ist perfekt, um alle Ziele zu Fuß oder per Metro zu erreichen.

Beautiful property close to one of the subways, well kept with an onsite Thai restaurant that is brilliant.

Walk to Gion or city centre is at least 15 mins, so after a long day, it might feel like tiring walking back to the hotel but of course, you could use a bus.

What I liked most was how neat, clean, and tidy everything was. The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout our stay. The room had a beautiful Japanese touch that made the experience feel authentic and special. Although it is a small hotel, it felt incredibly cozy and homely. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and truly enjoyed our stay.

The only thing that could have made the stay even better would be complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are new, all facilities are new too. The location is amazing, it is just 10 minutes walk away from Daimaru and Nishiki Market. Also one bus ride away from kyoto station, close to bus stops as well. Though the room is small, it has everything we need. They also store your luggage for you and you can just travel around worry free before check in and after check out.

Les gens qui pique niquent dans le lobby de l’hôtel. Cela donne une très mauvaise image et dessert l’établissement. Il faudrait également préciser les chambres à l’aveugle. Aucune possibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres ni de voir à l’extérieur. Pour les claustrophobes c’est terrible !
