Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Lovely place with clean, well-equipped rooms. The staff stayed up late to check us in and were very flexible with unexpected changes to our arrival time. The building is off on a little side street with quiet nature noises, so you can keep the windows open at night without hearing tuktuks/motorbikes/etc. No aircon but you don't need it, and the room comes equipped with an excellent fan.

El baño requiere ventilación porque es muy cerrado y no cuenta con un ducto o extractor o con una ventana, por lo menos en la habitación 2 en la cual estuvimos era así, y realmente es incómodo

La atención de la señora Zuleima es impecable y en general todas las instalaciones y comodidades son excelentes. Super recomendado este hostel. Definitivamente recomendado para futuras ocasiones.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Well, I liked EVERYTHING about this property! The place looks like a Swiss chalet with exposed wood beams - it’s simply breathtaking! I had a private room and it was huge, beautifully decorated, bed and linens were so comfortable and soft, a huge amount of storage space was available and one had a lovely sitting chair. The bathroom/shower had hot water and was sparking clean. The room also had windows in both the shower and the main room that could be opened for airflow. The property also has multiple, beautifully decorated and comfortable sitting areas on both floors and a kitchen that is spotless with modern appliances and tools. I liked that’s it’s located out of the central area, but within a few blocks. The included breakfast is incredibly delicious and is served in an open air part of the property that overlooks a garden. The caretaker is a gracious woman who makes sure all your needs and concerns are addressed. She is the true jewel of this property! The stay in this property was a definitely the highlight of my time in Colombo!

This is one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed throughout numerous places in Latin America. It was spotless, no stray hairs & my feet were clean after walking around the room without shoes. I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s really nicely maintained as well.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025The place is pretty comfortable, and the amenities made our stay very enjoyable. The room was very clean. The bed was really comfy. The staff was great. They were very attentive and helpful with the on-site logistics.
There's a bowling alley right across the street from our room, and it can get pretty noisy. Unfortunately for us, the music was loud on Saturday (from 3:00 pm until 2:00 am) and Sunday until 11:00 pm. We asked the staff, and they kindly offered us a different room for the third night.

The walk “up” to the town center was like every walk in town. Either uphill or downhill. Thankfully it was just a few minutes and it was all downhill coming back !

Close (easy walking distance) to the main plaza, but far enough away that you don't get the tourist and backpacker crowd walking past your door at all hours. Very quiet location in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Easy access by car of moto-taxi. Very friendly and professional staff. The property looks like it's brand new. Super clean. Warm and inviting. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Loved the fresh fruit bowl to start and the fresh baked bread was fantastic.
I can't say I would change anything.
