We could check in at 3pm, some hotels like you later We liked the gesture of body wash and moisturiser

The hotel are aware and yet did nothing to help. We were really unhappy with the location of the room we were given, it was right by the front door and so very noisy with other guests coming and going. The phone in the room has a fault and kept going off all night with no one there until unplugged. The worst part was the air freshener in the room coming from either the air conditioning unit or vents, it was a sickly smell and very unpleasant, they were obviously trying to hide a smell, possibly damp we think. I spoke to Tristan on reception that morning to explain our awful night, he was very defensive. I said we were not people who liked to leave bad reviews anywhere so would he give the message to Anne-Claire, the Manager and we will wait for her response first to give the hotel the right to answer. Nothing has been forthcoming but then again I didn't think it would. Avoid room 21 if you stay and check your room first before accepting it - we heard from another couple they were unhappy with their room.

Das Hotel liegt relativ zentral und Parkgarage ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Der Service nett und freundlich, das Frühstück unerwartet abwechslungsreich.

Die Zimmer sind recht klein und die französischen Betten schmal und kurz, wie immer.

Camera pulita, silenziosa e accogliente. Posizione molto vicina al centro e alla cattedrale.

Staff inesistente: l’albergo è anche un ristorante e spesso alla reception non c’è nessuno. Noi abbiamo molto per il check in, senza che nessuno ci desse spiegazioni plausibili. Non c’è l’ascensore, bisogna tenerne conto se si hanno bagagli pesanti.

Accueil plus que bien ! La dame à l’accueil vraiment adorable (nous a aidé à monter l’un de nos sacs jusqu’au dernier étage) car pas d’ascenseur et chambre 16 tout en haut. Le restaurant super bon, service top, très agréable sur la terrasse, nous avons adoré la nourriture les moules délicieuses !

P’tit bémol pour manque d’ascenseur quand on est chargé.

We had the suite and it was far too hot, air conditioning not sufficient for the room and it impacted our baby’s sleep. 2 x Fans provided but no plug in suitable locations to plug them in.

The restaurant food was not good. Steak meat poor quality. Sent back as overcooked when asked for medium / rose. Another steak provided - very chewy as poor quality meat. I had my fish while waiting for second steak. Ruined the evening. No real apology.

From check-in, we were greeted by wonderful staff that provided all the local knowledge we needed, helped us with our luggage, showed us free parking and served us a very good dinner and breakfast at the restaurant patio on site. This is an exceptionally clean hotel. Our room was very comfortable (maybe a little small if you travel with a lot of luggage) with good AC and nice linens. The location was very near the Bayeux Cathedral and Tapestry Museum and easily accessible from driving excursions into Normandy.

The interior restaurant does not have AC (neither do most of the others in the area) but the umbrellaed patio was delightful.

Great location in the city center. The restaurant on site was delicious as well as the garden bar. Huge rooms, mini fridge and large bathroom. Daily breakfast was superb. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff here were so friendly! One of our rooms was behind the hotel on the river, and it was quiet and fantastic. Another room had a great view of the cathedral steeples. We loved being in the heart of this beautiful, quaint town!

Two of our four rooms were over the restaurant which was open late and quite noisy -- it was OK but not something we expected. Another of our rooms faced the main street where laundry and food deliveries happened early in the morning right outside of our window. The second night we slept with earplugs and that helped us sleep a little later.

The location was excellent! Right in the center of town, just steps from where we could go out to restaurants and from where we had to meet our tour in the morning. The breakfast, even though extra, was excellent! Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The hotel was in a Great location. You can’t beat being in main area of Bayeux. Parking was across the street in a public lot. It is free after certain times, but you pay in the daytime. We happened to find parking. It is a bit of a walk to parking if you are not so lucky. Plenty of street parking though. It was nice to be able to walk everywhere. Hotel staff were friendly.

No elevators, but the staff helped us with our suitcases. Older hotel, but very clean and well appointed. Slightly more expensive but excellent location.

La posizione è eccezionale! Proprio nel centro, a due passi dalla cattedrale e con parcheggio comodo a poca distanza. Colazione varia e abbondante, anche con prodotti senza glutine a richiesta. Personale molto cortese e preparato. Rapporto qualità-prezzo adeguato.

A localização é perfeita! Muito central. Proximo a igreja. Proximo a estação de trem. O quarto é pequeno. O banheiro é pequeno. Mas pelo que vi, os hotéis são bem parecidos na cidade. A atendente nos indicou um excelente guia pra nos levar nos principais pontos turísticos do desembarque da Normadia do dia D.

Amei a localização e os funcionários super gentis e solícitos. Estava tendo um evento na rua do hotel! Foi incrível assistir o desfile de camarote do quarto do hotel

Breakfast a bit over priced for what we would pay. No on site parking and need to walk about ten minutes if you don’t want to pay for parking closer to the hotel.

We stayed one night in an attic room with air con which was comfortable and quiet. The bed was two singles put together but comfortable with cool linen. The on-suite shower room was very compact but serviceable. The reception was very friendly and efficient for two rather hot and weary travelers. We were shown to our rooms and able to settle in quickly. The location is very close to the cathedral and the heart of Bayeux. We could park our motorbike in a dedicated free parking area opposite the hotel. The hotel restaurant is popular, breakfast is available and there's a river walk nearby.

It was a bit of a climb up to the second floor but then we were only doing it a couple of times. Headroom was a concern as the room has a sloping ceiling on the one side but I managed fine.

Location was great and near to a walkable distance from the train station. Rooms were clean both the large and standard room.

The toilet in the standard room emitted a foul smell and aircon was really noisy. We fed back to the hotel and requested to have a additional bedding set up in the suite room (we booked 2 rooms of different sizes) but was refused, although there is a sign at the back of the door of the suite room specifying the charge of the additional bedding. Staff’s response was terrible too, as there was not even a suggestion to have my daughter changed to another room. In the end my daughter put up wit us on the same bed in the suite room for 1 night. Book this hotel if you like to end up with above issues.

Room 25 (Annex). Very comfortable bed. One of the best I’ve slept on. Quiet room, even with the windows open, since it was facing the rear. Excellent breakfast.

Kept banging our heads on the sloped ceilings and tripping on the step between the bedroom and sitting room. Somewhat hazardous! Terrible towel quality. Tiny little body wash/shampoo bottles. Did not get replaced when room was serviced and they were used up. No towel rack other than the heating rods. Not enough bathroom counter space. Bottleneck in the breakfast buffet area because the area is too small to accommodate the number of guests. Chicken kabobs at dinner were not freshly cooked to order. Probably left over from lunch.

The town is wonderful as is this hotel in the town. The food was good and the staff very accommodating. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Very safe area and a good pick up point for the tours.

Location was outstanding in the center of town, restaurants within 5 minutes pleasant walk. Hotel dining area very cozy/clean. Very good breakfast. For an in-town older hotel this was a great value with efficient and friendly reception.

La camera angusta, il letto scomodo trattandosi di due letti singoli uniti, il bagno minuscolo, senza una presa elettrica. Ho impiegato 30 Min. Per cercare un parcheggio..per 167€ + 30 per la colazione, molto buona, devo ammettere, mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di meglio.
