Good central location

It’s not a luxury hotel and I didn’t feel that the size of room (small) and bathroom (too small) justified the premium pricing. The bar was lacking in atmosphere too. Overall it was ok but I would certainly look for alternative options next time I’m here.

I thought that the breakfasts were expensive at Euro 19.00 each when we compared them to our hotels that we had stayed in Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lourdes and Rennes, and the selection wasn't to the standard that one would expect at Euro 19 per person.

Avevo prenotato due camere identiche ma all’arrivo io avevo una camera minimal (non ci si stava in 2…. I miei amici una camera come si deve 😔. Garantire un’uniformità quando si prenota penso sarebbe sinonimo di correttezza.

Not much really. Maybe just a little pricey- but it was worth it. Could include breakfast. That would have made it a 10.

Zum zweiten Mal hier gebucht. Sehr schönes, zentral gelegenes Hotel in der Altstadt Bayeuxs. Sehr gutes Frühstück! Als Extra kleiner Außenpool&Whirlpool im Innengarten gelegen zu nutzen. Parkplatz im Innenhof für 16 Euro/Nacht.

La piscina y el jacuzzi porque el spa es de pago. El aparcamiento al lado del hotel y se puede cargar coche eléctrico.

Era un poco laberinto, dos hoteles en uno, el Brunville comparte recepción con el otro…

Das Frühstück und die Lage waren das einzig gute in diesem Hotel.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Die Handtücher waren voller Flecken. Am 2 Tag hatten wir gar keine Handtücher erhalten und nach Reklamation haben wir ausgediente schmutzige Handtücher erhalten. (Siehe Bilder.) Die dazugestellte Lüftung konnten wir nicht benutzen da sie beim Anmachen den Staub im Innern durchs Zimmer blies. (Bild) Die Toilette steht so nah an der Wand dass man nicht gerade darauf sitzen kann.

As my husband has reduced mobility, we were very happy that there was a lift. Also, the staff were accommodating re the car parking and had cordoned off a space for us with a cone so he didn't have to walk as far. They were as understanding as they could be regarding his gluten free allergy.

The spa was too expensive to make use of, we were unable to get a snack, the tea and coffee was not filled up daily and we had to ask the reception each time for the room to get a tea bag and milk cartons. The breakfast staff were absent largely, didn't fill up the ham and cheese platter (only one of each so not a tall ask). Our room was on the side of the road and with windows open it was very noisy, we couldn't hear the television. Also, the reception on the telephone was very patchy, we switched it off eventually. All irritations more than anything.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Bayeux. Die Wege zur Kathedrale, zu Plätzen, Cafés und Restaurants sind sehr kurz. Ebenfalls gibt es einen großen öffentlichen Parkplatz neben dem Hotel, der deutlich kostengünstiger ist als der Hotelparkplatz, dessen Plätzen obendrein limitiert sind. Auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz haben wir immer einen freien Stellplatz gefunden.

Das Hotel ist leider sehr hellhörig. Bis in die Nacht hinein wurden Türen auf den Gängen laut zugeschlagen, laute Gespräche geführt oder diese schallten vom Innenhof hoch. Das Badezimmer ist extrem klein, so dass man selbst bei durchschnittlicher Körperlänge kaum in der Dusche stehen kann, geschweige denn als großer Mensch. Auf den Fotos sahen Spa-Bereich und die Gesamtanlage wesentlich grosszügiger aus als sie in der Realität gewesen sind, das hat uns enttäuscht. Ebenfalls roch es im Treppenhaus immer sehr stark, morgens nach Gebratenem und sonst nach Zuviel Raumparfüm.

La piscine et le jacuzzi

Le bruit, c’est très mal insonorisé. Nous avons entendu sans cesse l’ascenseur et les personnes dans le couloir.

Bayeux in general is an excellent location for D-Day museums and Mont Saint Michel. If street parking was helpful. Staff were very responsive and happy to suggest some of their favourite restaurants in town (Clara in particular was fantastic). Room is on the smaller side and with no air conditioning - we couldn't have the window open as we were on the street opposite the cinema (noise from patrons and vehicles kept waking us up at all hours when we tried...) Didn't get time to try the Spa facilities due to our busy sightseeing schedule.

Shower leaked water all over the floor and given the location of the room and the fact we didn't use the spa facilities I can't say we got value for the money.

This hotel was our choice due to the proximity to the railway station so a short 20 minute walk. Town centre was also close. The room was bright and airy.

L’unica cosa che salvo di questo hotel è la posizione (in centro) e il parcheggio privato.

La camera minuscola, in due facevamo fatica a muoverci. Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti e non ci hanno mai rifatto la stanza (per un 3 stelle a quasi 200€ a notte mi sembra il minimo), solo l’ultimo giorno sono passati alle 17.30 per rifarla ma eravamo appena rientrati e quindi ci hanno solo cambiato gli asciugamani (rifare le camere alle 17.30 mi sembra assurdo). La piscina, che sembra grande dalle foto, è invece una pozza grande 3 metri per 2 con lo spazio di un paio di lettini attorno. Ciliegina sulla torta, prima di partire hanno cercato di addebitarci due cocktail non presi da noi ma da un’altra camera con un numero simile. Ci abbiamo messo 10 minuti al check out, per dimostrare che non fossero nostri.

ci hanno segnato due stanze mansardate piccole, calde e prive di aria condizionata. la pulizia è stata insufficiente in quanto non hanno pulito e sostituito le cialde del caffè, lo zucchero consumati il giorno precedente.

The pool. Small but an enjoyable and relaxing break from the heat. The staff, helpful and cheerful. Parking was secure.

The rooms are cramped, the street noise at night is awful - opposite a cinema - loud people until 23.30 some nights. A rattling manhole outside our window, the bin lorry roaring up the street at 4am. The beds hard, and breakfast is expensive compared to the competition.

The fact that you have to pay for car park. It is also not cheap for a night. While we were informed that the electric charging point belonged to a different company, the tertiary company charged an excruciating amount of money without making it clear from the beginning what the rates are. Also, as hotel guests it felt unreasonable to pay for the hotel spa at the rate of €25 per person per hour.

nice pool and jacuzzi and clean rooms. hotel is very well located and both paid and free parking are readily available. Close to all the war stuff but yet enough to do for those family members with a very low bunker threshold.

Lovely little spa hotel - super central to Bayeux.

TV although not used much - digital signal was always scrambled and unwatchable.

Location was amazing

The Hotel was easily located , it was clean , the staff were very friendly and helpful . The Bar and food excellent.

Chambre beaucoup trop petite. Pas de safe. Contrairement à vos indications, pas de parking du tout le 1ee jour, et le 2ème oui, mais payant. Bcp trop cher quakité/prix, par contre emplacement très bien.

L'hotel est très propre, calme et pourtant très proche du centre ville, des restaurants et de la cathédrale - tout cela faisable à pied. Il possède une piscine et un parking privé. Un parking public est également disponible juste à côté. J'ai apprécié notre séjour sur Bayeux et nous en avons profité pour visiter les sites du débarquement. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et bien servis.

This is a sweet hotel in the heart of town, everything you need right beside you. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you have a car, park it for free at the Eglise St Patrick car park, 5 mins walk from hotel.

The picture of the pool area is deceptive - it is much smaller with few beds. However, it is nice. The hairdryer in room didn't work and there is no air conditioning - however there is a big fan and that was great to keep us cool. We didn't pay extra for breakfast - there are loads of cafes and boulangeries 1 min walk away.

My 3 Hôtel on road trip to Bretagne. I can compare previous 🫢 Excellent service and communication. Small heated pool, nice location. Room was small, but nice. Even without conditioning it was comfortable to stay. Bar working till 23.30- it’s important, because all city cafes already closed till that time! Amazing reception and bar team ❤️

I had a problem with parking with previous hotels and messaged to hotel to confirm the parking. I was reissued that it’s available and I don’t need to book. But when we arrived- parking was full. Luckily it’s a big parking right on the corner. But Hôtel should inform me in advance to prepare.

Centrale ligging

Hotel was redelijk gedateerd. De foto’s van de badkamer op Booking komen niet overeen. Onze badkamer was enorm gedateerd en het zwembad was veel kleiner dan de foto’s op booking doen voorkomen. Kamer was aan de prijs maar daarnaast moest je nog voor alle extra services betalen waaronder de spa en de parking.

Goede locatie, proper, fijne ontvangst, lekker ontbijt.

Veel licht op de kamer 's nachts owv lichten op de parking achteraan in combinatie met slechte gordijnen, smal bed.

Geen airco, hele kleine kamers. Te klein voor 2 koffers. Harde bedden en harde kussens. Het zwembad is heel klein (oogt groot op de website) amper plaats voor zitten. Spa niet toegankelijk, zelfs niet om te kijken want kost 20 euro per anderhalf uur.

Centrale locatie, schone kamers.

Internet werkte slecht. Kamers en bedden niet al te groot, Zwembad was mooi, ook een bubbelbad aanwezig, maar helaas zijn er te weinig bedjes. Wij kwamen eind van de middag aan en pasten er niet meer bij.

Beliggenheden var perfekt. Der var frisk vand flasker på værelset hver dag. Rengøring var fin. Personalet var søde, venlige og talte godt engelsk.

Værelset var lille. Sæben I bruseniche virkede ikke. Sengen var hård efter min smag. Pool området var meget lille og indbød ikke os til at anvende det selvom det var derfor vi havde valgt stedet.

Hotel isn't as it is in the pictures. Breakfast disappointing- although breakfast staff were very nice. Nothing is covered, and wasp in the jams.

La camera sulla strada principale molto rumorosa, considerando il momento di stagione caldo era impossibile dormire con la finestra chiusa perché mancava l’aria condizionata, quindi con la finestra aperta si sentivano tutti i rumori nella stanza della gente che passava. Moquette dappertutto che rendono lo stile vecchio e datato. Caffè a colazione che non sa di nulla.

Notre chambre était très standard, loin d’être la meilleure de l’hôtel. Concernant le spa, soyez vigilants : il nécessite une réservation payante et se situe en réalité dans l'Hôtel Luxembourg adjacent, ce qui implique un supplément...

La piscine est beaucoup beaucoup plus petite que ce qu'on s'attendrait en regardant la photo de l'hôtel. Au niveau accueil, le personnel est agréable et au service du client. En revanche, la personne qui faisait les chambres ne frappe pas à la porte avant de rentrer ce qui peut-être embêtant

Wir hatten zwei Dachzimmer. In einem war das Kissen dermassen verdreckt, man will gar nicht wissen was es war. Auch sonst war das Zimmer nur grob gereinigt; Krümmel im Bett, fleckiges Unterleintuch, dreckiger Spiegel, schmutziger Teppich. Nach Reklamation an der Rezeption bekamen wir umgehend ein neues Kissen, und eine Entschuldigung mit der Bemerkung man schreibt dann intern ein Mail; unterirdisch!! Der Sauberkeitszustand hatte uns dazu gebracht zu überlegen im Auto zu schlafen, das ist selbsterklärend..

Der Pool ist schön und eine tolle Abkühlung.

Das WLAN in unserem Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert und die Badewanne, die in die Dachschräge gebaut war, viel zu klein um richtig Duschen zu können. Auch war das Zimmer nicht ganz sauber (leeres Duschmittel vom Vorgänger noch dort und kleiner Abfall neben dem Abfalleimer). Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es 34 Grad und sehr heiss im Zimmer. Wir haben aber einen Ventilator bekommen, das hat geholfen.

Great location, lovely pool and very helpful staff. We told them about the lack of storage space and the grotty carpet which they took in good part. We will go back but to the other hotel on the site, the Luxembourg, as the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.

Room was small (as we had expected as we made a last-minute booking) but very little storage space in it. The carpet was stained and needs to be replaced. However, we more or less knew what we would be getting, given the photos and the late,booking.

Great location, big room and bathroom. A fan was provided in the room. The staff who checked us in was nice. They had world cup channels on the TV.

The bed sheets and towels were rough. Dont think the rooms are made to keep out noise,you could hear people in the hall.

The location is excellent, right downtown. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. I enjoy having bottles of water available every day.

Customer service is not their forte. We approached them with a problem and all they did is avoid taking responsibility (which was ok, because it was not their fault) but they did not offer any solutions or try to accommodate us in any way. I think it is unfortunate, because a little gesture would have made a difference in our experience.

Insonorisation catastrophique, on attend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre des voisins ou dans le couloir. Literie à changer , nous avions mal partout au réveil.

The room was clean and comfortable. The tea trays were topped up daily. The bar and pool areas were lovely if compact. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very close to the centre of the city.

The weather was extremely hot during our stay, there was no aircon and we could not open the windows in the evenings because of how small the room was, the bed was too close to the window to be able to have them open. There was a fan provided but it was not very powerful.
