I was one floor below a busy bar Footsteps and banging on ceiling all night Messaged about it and nobody replied

We were on floor 6 and had a large corner window with a view towards the stadium. Location is great just an 8 minute walk to Riverside.

We were fine but there is a restaurant and a bar a floor above which was quite noisy so if you are a light sleeper perhaps request a lower room.

The noise, we are not sure what it is, sounds like the toilets being flushed from the room above or it could be the air conditioning unit as the sound was coming from it. Might be worth checking it out, as it went through the night.

Room was beautiful and clean, staff were friendly and professional

Could hear ever bit of water running through the building from our room from about 6am, was very loud

The location couldn’t be better! Just the overall aesthetic and amenities were appreciated!

The beds were a little uncomfortable (two beds pushed together to make a king), and at times the customer service could’ve been better. We had also originally asked about parking and informed that they had parking available, to only be told this is no longer the case when we arrived.

Advertised as parking available. There is no parking. Advertises as having a fitness centre. There is no fitness centre, there is ONE gym pass you can use if no one else has yet claimed it that day

The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet being in the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do during our stay.

It's very central to everything. Short walk to amazing restaurants and bars.

Location and the fitness centre were amazing.. More than anything else the staff, very professional and very friendly as well.

Super location. Very close to the new stadium, but very quiet. Rooms are nice and comfortable. It is true to get the temperature right it takes a moment, but all is provided including an additional heater. Parking is one block away and you have to pay for it. There are lots of loading bays in front of the hotel though. Advantage is that almost everything is in walking distance.

The reception front of house and all staff were lovely, the breakfast in the downstairs cafe was also brilliant (Eggs Benedict) and the room was comfortable. We upgraded to a room with window with views out towards the new stadium, I'm glad we did as feel the room would have been very dark windowless. Location is great very central and serves as a great base to explore the city

The sliding door to the shower room didn't close properly and kept sliding open which is awkward when you want the toilet. You still have to pay for parking which is organised by the hotel for 20nzd per 24hrs, it's a shame that it isn't included but was easy enough. These are just minimal things and overall we really enjoyed our overnight stay

Great location with lots of parking nearby, comfortable beds and rooms, good service, cool rooftop bar and restaurant and nice breakfast in cafe on ground floor.

Shower pressure was really weak.

Good location and walked / trammed about. Nice little cafe downstairs where you have breakfast. Reasonable price and decent value option.

Breakfast budget didn't stretch very far. Quirky style may not suit everyone.

Excellent central location, beautifully clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable, black out curtains.

Music and patron noise from the rooftop bar kept me awake. The chat function on the hotel guest page wasn’t manned- had ai generated responses that said the “team” Would get back to my requests and no one ever did. When I spoke to reception about this, they had no idea that a chat function existed.

The breakfast is great value for money.

I had a last minute trip to Christchurch so I was only here for 1 night and arrived late at night and left first thing in the morning but was happy with what I saw, it was comfortable and just what I needed.

As I was only there for a short time, I had no issues at all it was a great stay.

Location is excellent especially if you want to go to the new stadium

Very old lift which was also the only way to a noisy rooftop bar which made for a long wait. Parking was quite a walk away.

The location is great, and the room was clean and cozy. It had nice touches in choice of soaps, scents, colours, and placement of a comfortable chair for reading. Also good lighting design. Staff were all lovely.

The only oddity was needing to do check in remotely via a red phone booth box. This was required even though I’d already done online checkin. It was a bit awkward.

This is a lovely hotel with a cool wee bar on the roof!! Staff were lovely, theres a cafe next to the lobby which sold us a great coffee. Rooms were very good. Paid parking about a block away.

Ugh...check-in was really painful. They are trialing a virtual check-in. This was in a phone booth type arrangement and was slow and really seemed a pointless thing for them to. They had plenty of staff in Reception who had to spend time taking us through the overly complicated system and if they'd just had a normal Reception desk it would have been so much faster. A little gripe was that my room had no normal tea bags which was irritating as I missed a cuppa in the morning (all sorts of exotic teas etc but no normal tea!). Overall it was a really cool hotel in a fantastic location (near the new stadium) but its like they went out of their way to complicate things/systems and that made the stay a bit frustrating at times.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of options.

The lights from the internal stairwell lit up the room all night, hard to sleep. The curtains did not keep out the light completely.
